321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 07, 2018, 11:47:26 AM
Then we would have two coins with major scalability problems Grin Though it is not completely impossible, I'd like them to find the solution for the current problem first. If it indeed were to happen, it would accumulate a large audience to non-crypto people.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I hold BTC 0.05 for future ? on: January 07, 2018, 11:41:31 AM
You should hold it for now. Might as well increase your btc holdings because once the altcoin craze stops, money will flow back to btc and you will see 20k easily in a few months.
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 07, 2018, 11:38:29 AM
There's no risk in holding your btc for now as seen from the chart, we are in a bull run. Imo, you should accumulate more btc then hold. Keep them in a safe hardware wallet like trezor.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EXRN Airdop 10m coins on: January 07, 2018, 10:40:15 AM
EXRN now on etherdelta.
I sold 10 M token for 0.1 ETH. Good trade Grin

Congratulations. 10 M are now worth more than 1 ETH.
They must be literally kicking themselves right now. Quite an expensive lesson, no?
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:44:42 PM
Bitcoin is considered as a currency so in that sense, everyone including the criminals have the freedom to use it. But indeed, the world we live in is not totally screwed up so many people still use it for good.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: January 04, 2018, 11:09:23 AM
If memory serves, four years ago, I heard it through the television way back when a couple of people were doing stuffs with bitcoin atm. But only now did I give it much attention as I thought it was a waste of time to be involved in it before.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: January 04, 2018, 08:05:41 AM
To those people who have no knowledge or is still learning the ropes of crypto, most likely they will play it safe and hold. Day trading is for people with technical knowledge or some, gained and learned through experience.
328  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia turning into a scam? on: January 04, 2018, 07:45:49 AM
Many traders are furious that support are slow to act, many tickets are unresolved and funds are indeed going missing--based from what I've seen from their twitter account.  Also, they are undergoing frequent maintenance; seems fishy to me. I hope you fix your problems, OP.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: January 03, 2018, 03:21:03 PM
Ripple's price increase seems unnatural for a coin with infinite supply so it might be better to invest in eth. You can also have the third choice--you could invest in other crypto with huge potential like electroneum, verge, eos and cardano.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALT-COIN will hit big in 2018? on: January 03, 2018, 02:45:59 PM
I am a believer of electroneum. Sure, its old tech and doesn't offer much innovation but it is designed especially for mass adoption. Wait till they have enabled the mobile 'mining' it will surely skyrocket.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 03:57:22 PM
Indeed, Ripple is the talk right now because of it surpassing ethereum however, if we consider the difference in market cap of btc and eth, there's a huge gap. So I'm not saying its totally impossible, but it can't be achieved in just a year. Maybe..just maybe, in three years time, with the support of banks, XRP will surpass BTC.
332  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC vs Bittrex on: January 01, 2018, 03:32:49 PM
HitBTC is getting worse by the day. At some point, they have listed a different coin with the same ticker as AMM (micromoney) and then shamelessly accused the traders as fraudsters for buying the said coin. Personally, I still use this exchange despite the issues but I don't put too much funds in it.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: January 01, 2018, 03:13:23 PM
The biggest effect it has done to me: it has inspired me to think more critically when it comes to financial decisions. It also gave me more financial freedom, inspired me to study different subjects so I could relate it to bitcoin and it gave me confidence--a fuell for my self-esteem.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your New Year Resolutions for Bitcoin in 2018? on: January 01, 2018, 02:56:45 PM
This year has taught me plenty of expensive lessons for a beginner like me in trades. With that, I will do the best I can to improve my skills in cryptocurrency and never let my emotions interfere with my decisions this year.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: January 01, 2018, 02:50:06 PM
Granting that it would happen (which in my opinion is not possible), people will not totally lose interest in it. Even if bitcoin 'dies', the technology that it has introduced will never cease or be forgotten. Hence, other people will use it as an inspiration to build new things. People will then be interested again and the cycle goes on and on...
336  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BITCOIN CRACKDOWN? on: December 30, 2017, 09:07:13 AM
Naaalala nyo pa ba ung ung china drama dati? Same old, same old. Probably, mas marami pa ang magte-take advantage nyan at maga-accumulate pa ng maraming bitcoin. Walang connect to sa topic pero share ko na rin ung sinabi ni Warren Buffet: ''Be greedy when others are fearful'
337  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bittrex vs. Poloniex vs. Cryptopia on: December 30, 2017, 08:59:38 AM
Sa ngayon pinakamaganda ang polo since may konting problema ang bittrex sa ngayon i.e., nag sasarado sila ng mga account base sa mga experience ng mga tao dito sa forum). Cryptopia is a league on its own. Sakto lang ung trading volume sa mga ico tokens at old alts.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS under $1 on: December 30, 2017, 08:51:29 AM
Which Altcoins are likely to pump in a month or two, and can give profit in short term? I am new and cant afford losing money.
You shouldn't be here if you want to play safe and can't afford to lose money. Investing is a risk;you win some, you lose some. As for the alts, I suggest ETN, AMM and EOS. They have a solid community and a realistic goal for their project.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of a new year on market? on: December 30, 2017, 08:25:41 AM
Probably nothing out of the usual. I'm guessing people already cashed-out enough money before for the expenses in Christmas and new year's included. If not, then its a new year sale for bitcoin I suppose.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Do I Discover Good Signature Campaign To Join on: December 29, 2017, 12:29:23 PM
A good and trusted campaign manager plays an important role as they wouldn't knowingly manage a scam ico just to damage their reputation here. but of course, that is just judging from a quick look. Do your due dilligence. If its a bounty campaign, search for the website, read the whitepaper follow their social media account. If its weekly btc payout, check if its escrowed.
