Online wallets should only be used for small amounts of btc, Circle offers insurance on all deposits but I'd recommend reading all the small print before even considering sending large amounts. Personally I use blockchain.info for spending money and paper wallets for my 'savings'.

Yeah I'm surprised this hasn't been implemented into core's gui yet, been meaning to try out Armory's multi-sig wallet just haven't got round to it.
