I always store my savings in offline wallets (cold storage) encrypting them with a very long password. There's no way for an hacker to steal them because they are never been plugged in a connected computer.
+1 on this one. If you ever have any significant amount of BTC you should always use some kind of cold storage. It is just too risky to keep 6k+ on your computer that you have connected to the internet. You should have used a watch-only wallet that can monitor the activity of the addresses. Yeah at the very least you should have a clean dedicated computer for storing btc that only connects to the internet when you want to send / receive bitcoin. Anything over 1 btc should be stored offline in my opinion.

The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts) Activity is updated every hour. The new membergroup limits work like this: Group | Requirement | Brand New | 0 posts | Newbie | (none) | Jr. Member | activity: 30 | Member | activity: 60 | Full Member | activity: 120 | Sr. Member | activity: 240 | Hero Member | activity: 480 |

It's crazy that a quarter of all homeless people in the US are war veterans: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/21678030/The amount of money the military industrial complex makes, you would think they could at least try and look after their cannon fodder. It's not much better in the UK, vets have to rely on charities here for treatment/housing etc when it should be the government looking after them. And 3 out of 4 homeless are not veteran. Anyone given any thought to the 3/4 homeless non-veteran? Yeah of course, just found it surprising that a country that prides itself on its military would treat their vets in such a way.

I would not be surprised if most countries that have nuclear weapons have many more nukes then they publicly admit and what they agreed to. I don't think this is something unique to china. Countries like Israel should also be encouraged to to disclose their number of nuclear weapons, aswell as signing up for the NPT. No doubt most countries overestimate their number of nukes, partly because its become a global dick waving contest. Bah, they can simply make up a number, and release photoshopped images of them. Done, no proof needed, just a big fake dick, lol. lol, at least Israel can make decent photoshop propaganda compared to the shoddy attempts by Iran and North Korea: NK: Iran (top pic is a stock photo ):

Independent my arse.
Doubt many people in the government even understand bitcoin, let alone be in a position to 'educate' the general public.

Think we do need more women in politics though I'm not sure Hilary fits the bill for President.
Imagine she would be a warmonger like her husband
|
|
|
Where are Bush & Blair now? They should be hauled into the court at The Hague & made answerable for their actions. It's thanks to them that this barbarism has been unleashed in Iraq & Syria.
Exactly, both these warmongers should be locked up in chains. Blair alone costs the UK taxpayers £millions every year for his security, I'd be happy if he (and Bush) were getting water-boarded in Gitmo Bay.

It's time for us to declare war on melanin! If we can just rid the world of this hideous melanin all of our problems will be solved!
lol, you'll have to excuse Honeypot, he's a bit obsessed with black people.

Celebrity 'culture' seems to be growing every year, nowadays any gimp with a youtube channel can be famous for little or no reason. Think a lot of it stems from bullshit reality TV programs and gossip magazines that women read.

Cops aim weapon at local official, lock media out as Ferguson protests continuehttp://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/08/12/watch-cops-aim-weapon-at-local-official-lock-media-out-as-ferguson-protests-continue/"Video filmed by a St. Louis alderman shows police aiming a weapon at him while responding to the latest round of demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri. Alderman Antonio French posted the footage Monday night, following another protest criticizing police for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Michael Brown. The video shows French being approached by officers in riot gear inside a parking lot. One officer has his firearm drawn toward French while another says, “Get the f*ck out of here” and motions away from the parking lot. It is not clear whether French identified himself as a city official during the encounter in the St. Louis suburb".

Maliki 'forced out' as Iraq's prime ministerhttp://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/aug/11/nouri-al-maliki-iraq-forced-out-prime-ministerIraq's embattled prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, appeared to have lost his job on Monday, after the country's president appointed a rival Shia candidate to form a new government. In a major defeat for Maliki, Iraq's largest coalition of Shia political parties nominated Haider al-Abadi, a member of Maliki's Shia Islamist Dawa party, to take over as prime minister.

Pam Grier gets my vote:

Think most conflicts nowadays are either money making schemes for arms manufacturers or geo-political bullshit for control of our dwindling resources.
The problem is that there is way too much money to be made from war.
|
|
|
Good luck with conveying the dangers of big brother to the average voter, and why would government abandon such a resource?
I think that's the problem, seems like more and more people couldn't care less about their online privacy. It's got to the point now that people want to share all their private information on social media without any consideration how that data will be used in the future by say advertisers, future employers, government agencies etc.
