Mining profitable on bitcoinwisdom is quite accurate. U just need to predict the right difficulty increment trend.

Because the number of bitcoins that can ever be created is limited, because the cost of mining bitcoins will keep getting higher and higher as it gets more difficult to mine, because less and less bitcoins will be mined the more there are mined, because awareness and adoption and infrastructure can only grow, because more people are going to want bitcoins, and because fiat is inflationary, the value of bitcoins will and can only rise. Bitcoin has the law of mathematics backing it, the only certain law that governs the universe.
Well, only if people want Bitcoin. See what happen to Litecoin?

Electricity is not an issue because there is cheap electricity in my country just curious or say want to try it just asking which hardware is good and will I able to cover my hardware price and will able to buy new hard ware from money it generate thanks for reply also I want to expand business not just hobby. ALSO avalon3 is 325gh/s and Antminer s3 is 453gh/s. Both are not 800gh/s. How much I will be able to generate from them
How cheap electricity is cheap? You would be surprised that you can't ROI even with $0.05/kwh.

I see a HASHRA Lunar Launcher 14MH on craigslist for $375. It is used but it is also quite a bit cheaper than a new one. I live in the Pacific NW, where electricity is really cheap, so I'm thinking there might be a chance at recouping the cost. Then again this person obviously lives up here too and they're selling. Also looking at a Gridseed blade for $600 and a Antminer S3 for $420...
What do you think?
That is weird, normally 2nd hand is much more expensive then new but you are good to go ahead and buy. It should ROI better..

The S1 upgrade kit to S3 is not worth it, its like throwing away S1 and buying a new S3... unless its dirt cheap and can ship now..

Hello everyone. I am now in a situation where I can spend some money on bitcoin. So far it seems like a good deal to do so. I have around $5000 to spend. I was looking at a machine that has 4.1-5.0TH/s. I was going to mine for a couple months until break even, then buy another machine. Power consumption should be 2600-3200 W My current electricity cost is $0.115 (11.5 cents USD). Do you think its worth it to start now or have I missed my chance? Also, if I were to buy equipment and bitcoin goes away tomorrow, what can i do with the equipment? Can the same equipment mine for other crypto currency? Let me know what you guys think. Thank you everyone! PS sorry if this is a double post. im having comp issues below is the calculator i used. does this look accurate? Buy BTC instead, 0.1 is not competitive enough...

What is up with the bitcoin hashrate jumping between 125MM GH/s and 160MM GH/s??? Does anyone know what causes this?
If you are talking about the hashrate you get from pool then its variance, but from your program it should be stable....

I'm going to have the biggest shit eating grin on my face when we hit the next halving.
105 weeks, 3 hours, 30 minutes.... Do you think the price of BTC will go up with the halving? I believe the btc should go up when halving, you know supply vs demand...

Find a pool that has no fee is the best.
So a pool that has no fees and 2% orphan rate, 1% reject rate and 0.5% downtime is better than a pool that has a 2% fee, 0.1% orphan, 0.1% reject and no downtime? Penny wise, pound foolish So a pool that has no fee, 0% orphan rate, 0% reject rate and 0% downtime is the best... Do we have such pool?
