321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Loaning 5000 $ to trade with them ! :o on: October 29, 2018, 09:21:38 PM
It is known that there is no guarantee in this market, but I think such risk at this time will be a well calculated one as there is a huge tendency that the market will bounce from the current level but the period is yet unknown
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: October 29, 2018, 09:19:33 PM
Really got disappointed with the first bounty I participated in this year, it was a huge failure after wasting over two months campaigning, but was consoled by the one I joined afterwards, even though the reward is not so huge, I am quite pleased with a certain reward than nothing at all. We have to be more careful

324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Needs Some suggestion to find the best exchange....!!!! on: September 28, 2018, 10:09:40 AM
From the reputable ones you have Binance, Bittrex and HitBtc. They have a lot of coins and the fees are not bad.
Hitbtc is not one of such that I could recommend for someone looking for loe fees, their charges are usually high, especially for withdrawals and the have a higher trade limit as there are certain amounts that can't be traded on the exchange
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO prediction 2019 on: September 27, 2018, 02:29:43 PM
2019 will experience some market boom, but I think we have learnt a lot of lessons with the 2018 horrible market year, currently most ICO developers already know that it is hard for ICO's to pull through in such a tough season and have to work hard to ensure their project is good and gains wide acceptance, the good thing in bull market is that your mistakes can easily be corrected but in bear market you live with it, So a lot of cautions have been taken
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bounty Hunters also considered Investors? on: September 27, 2018, 02:09:16 PM
I normally see some crypto projects which promise Investors certain amount of dividend depending on how much coin/token they own.

The word "Investors" is normally used for people who own shares of a particular project/company, but in cryptocurrency this "shares" normally refers to coins/tokens, which makes me wonder if bounty/airdrop hunters are also considered "Investors" since they hold certain quantity of these coins/token
If we see it from that perspective bounty hunters that keep their coins are in fact investors, which is why in those projects that ask for you to confirm your identity, not only the investors need to go through this process but bounty hunters as well, and it makes sense because they are getting a part of the coin and of the possible dividends, if any, the difference is that investors put money into the project while bounty hunters put their effort and time.
I agree with this explanation, the bounty hunters can indeed be called investors because of their time and effort in advancing a project that is why bounty hunters can be called investors
Exactly what I have wanted to posit, investment is in diverse forms, should not necessarily have to be with fund. But a Bountyhunter can decide to buy more of a token he believes in during ICO, but I think this would be more after launch
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 27, 2018, 02:04:33 PM
I am more worried than you are
I’m frustrated too

I joined the dip happily and bought Etherum at 180$
But now I feel pained because it is cheaper and looks even more cheaper

The dip gets dipper
.

You should be rejoicing now because you would have made some profit from the eth you bought, the idea about crypto is to get in while others are fearful. It could be frustrating when you put in all your energy and time here when the results aren't forthcoming as expected but again, patience is all that is needed and find something to ease off with
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why i will invest in Crytpocurrencies and forget ICO's on: September 27, 2018, 01:56:00 PM
Crypto is diverse, the opportunities aren't limited to a particular section likewise the risks, it is possible to have made all the researches and still invest in a particular altcoins whereas someone how didn't do any will buy a particular ICO and it becomes successful. The problem behind some ICO's these days is that the projects may look good but no one knows if the managers and owners have any ulterior motivate
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: September 27, 2018, 01:42:47 PM
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?
.
The real bull market will begin if the market revisits this kind of trend, at this particular time, the market was still in downtrend and was showing certain rebound at every point of drop
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in ETH? on: September 26, 2018, 03:29:24 PM
Whoeve that has studied the eth chart very well wouldn't have bought at those high levels, price corrections are normal things in a market and eth have had its fair share as well as majority of the altcoins and within this period it still maintained its cap position second to bitcoin, some assurance you can say
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: September 26, 2018, 03:26:16 PM
I think the waves platform need some improvement firstly as a smart contract coin and be better marketed for massive adoption, currently eth, Neo and even EOS are taking the lead, the current level at which waves is placed can only be compared to Qtum, I have never seen any coin that have successfully launched on waves platform and doing well
332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: September 26, 2018, 01:59:26 PM
Well, when do you sell the whole volume, when will the price increase by 500%? Well, then this long wait.

You may not know when the coin has actually gotten to the peak, the best strategy at this point is to sell gradually to the top, here it means one can sell every 20% of one's holdings as the price pumps
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: September 26, 2018, 01:57:02 PM
It requires a very strong balls to do what you are doing not everyone would be able to wait and see their asset drop more than 50% without selling off, Btc would eventually return to your purchased price but may take a little longer. An experienced trader would have returned the loss into a good profit with all the fluctuations in crypto but for peace of mind and to save energy, going very long on investment is better if one can afford it
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no need to panic!!!!! on: September 25, 2018, 09:22:42 AM
This is confidence driven as it gives courage for long term investment, Certainly crypto will be bigger in some years and even decades to come but that doesn't imply one shouldn't be cautious for short to medium term goals. The major confidence about crypto is that it is largely decentralized and therefore owes no institution any duty
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 25, 2018, 08:56:14 AM
There is no crypto trader that does not make Coinmarketcap his point of call all time, particularly I downloaded the app that makes it easier for me to navigate through the coins easily and be able to view details clearly. I am addicted to Coinmarketcap app as I visit it an average of 5 times on active days
336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hackers ? on: September 20, 2018, 11:17:28 AM
Cyber criminal is a long known issue and most times people fall victim, those who do not take precautionary measures are usually the culprit, certain informations are meant to be kept safe. There are certain rules to follow in other to ensure one's efforts aren't wasted my hackers, one need to go read the rules about how to stay safe and follow them strictly, I did while joining crypto and I have never been hacked
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: September 20, 2018, 11:10:38 AM
I have seen people that had to quit their day job to embrace crypto fully, this should be a very hard decision but before one decides to do this, one should have made sure he has the absolute knowledge and have tested for long what works for him and have the required resources at his disposal. For someone with a reasonable capital and have the requisite trading knowledge can make a decent living by trading without having to look for a job,  with a $10000 trading  capital, someone  can make 20% profit monthly which is obviously possible and  could afford a decent living and with good money management skills can grow further the trading capital in order to earn higher
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: September 20, 2018, 10:51:13 AM
This is the obvious truth, most newbies come into cryptocurrency when it is a bull season and it happens that after the have lost huge following the crash that is an aftermath of the bull period, they will settle to learn how it happened, while the weak will chicken out, the older ones would have cashed out and another new breed of crypto enthusiasts are borne and they will never want to settle in a loss, this is what results into different support levels at the end of each season
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Candle Stick reading for Beginners on: September 20, 2018, 10:36:30 AM
Thank you very much, I am always happy being because of a lot of free knowledge being shared by different individuals here. I am not much of a TA expert as I never particularly learnt the terms associated with the candles, but I can relate with each of those candles as I usually study the candle movement before making trade decisions especially in identifying the support and resistance zone
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you pick your trades? on: September 20, 2018, 10:31:10 AM
Personally I am not a TA expert but my little knowledge about them helps to make certain trade decisions, I use a combination of Relative Strength index, Bollinger band, Moving average and convergence and Divergence to trade, of course not lescin the basic candle stick, sometimes instinct does help. The fact is that not all coins obey the TA so I ensure I enter at a very low support level while having a stop loss as control
