Does anyone have an idea why do I with my 280x only 550Mh/s with sgminer but with old cgminer 3.7.2 I get 715Mh/s? I've tryed it all changing kernels, intensity, xintensity...

Make sure sgminer truly loads all the settings from config file. You can start sgminer with the --text-only option and also with the --verbose option ... this way you'll be able to see which part of config might not be properly loaded.

sgminer --text-only --verbose ... other parameters

"thread-concurrency" : "8193",

why 8193? try 8192
322  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: April 14, 2014, 09:38:23 PM
It is my pool - ipoMiner.com. I'm currently the top bidder on NiceHash and have been for a while now, again, and am seeing 0.19GH/s on NiceHash - only 23MH on the pool-side for that worker though. I can set the share diff as high as 1024, if that matters, but I don't know why it would.

Well, we'll take a closer look at this, I'll pass this to the dev team and get back to you via PM or email as soon as we'll find out why the numbers doesn't match. Thanks for your patience!

We found out that there was another user having issues with ipominer.com, also couldn't max out more then 30mhs ... You should know that our system aggregates the hash power and connects to the pool with a single connection (this is more efficient and eliminates false-ddos like issues with pools in case of many smaller connections). It looks that the https://ipominer.com/ pool can't handle massive hash power through single connection (this is different than having multiple rigs with same username/password/account). Please check with the software provider of your pool what are the limitations for a single connection to your pool. Of course I'm not saying there is something wrong with your pool, it's just that it can't handle massive hash rate through a single connection. Probably there are some other pools with similar limitations, but so far we've successfully tested many other pools with 100mhs+ on single connection.

Related: as you can see we're exploring new dimensions regarding pool's capabilities. We're the first in market to be able to provide truly massive hash rate through single connection, but soon this will become a standard, when ASICs like KnCMiner, Alpha Technology and next-gen GridSeeds will become available. Therefore I ask all pool operators to make sure their pools are able to accept and handle massive hash rate through a single connection.

@kenshirothefist I don't think that's the issue.. it was definitely running for 30+ minutes.

It's still possible that some order intercalated between your order (small higher paying order) .. What pool were you mining at, do you know what is pools's highest share diff?
325  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: April 14, 2014, 07:19:38 PM
How does the displayed hashrate on NiceHash work, exactly? I'm renting, and see an scrypt speed of 0.1345 GH/s listed, but only see 16MH/s on my pool. I would expect to see 134.5MH/s...

NiceHash calculates hashrate based on shares submitted in the past 5 minutes. Most pools calculates hashrate based on shares submited in the past 10+ minutes. What happend to you is that probably your order wasn't running long enough for your pool to display full hashrate.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: April 14, 2014, 07:01:48 PM
We are currently at 0.0062 which is likee 25% better, quite a bit of improvement Wink

Sorry ... I was missleading you, actually best paying orders are already at 0.008+ BTC/mh/day Wink join the ride, seriously Wink
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: April 14, 2014, 06:51:00 PM
Most multipools are paying about 0.005/mh/day so that is at least a little bit of an improvement.

Most multipools actually pays below 0.005 .. more like 0.004 .. see poolpicker.eu. And even if you take 0.005 we are currently at 0.0062 which is likee 25% better, quite a bit of improvement Wink

When you pay out do you take the transaction fee out of our earnings? If so, it is possible to get paid less often than 4x a day to cut down on the fee losses?

No, payments are processed in a single transaction therefore the transaction fee is negligible and is covered by NiceHash, we don't charge niether sellers nor the buyers for the transaction fee.

Anyway, thanks for the questions, if you have any other questions just ask or visit our FAQ section at https://nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq

Yes, and I can confirm that this build works great with our NiceHash.com advanced stratum ... veox is really doing a great job!
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: April 14, 2014, 06:11:00 PM
1.) How much btc/MH/day is paid?

Currently we're at 6.10 BTC/GH/Day (= 0.0061 BTC/MH/Day) Wink ... join the ride ASAP Wink

2.) This is literally just mine whenever you want to, no contracts or required time frames you have to complete in order to get paid and/or keep your earnings?

No contracts, no hassle, no worries! Just point your miner at our stratum and get paid 4-times per day (if your unpaid balance is greater than 0.002 BTC at each pay interval, otherwise you'll get paid at the next pay interval when you reach at least 0.002 BTC)!
330  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: April 14, 2014, 06:06:55 PM
I am getting only rejected : Rejected 39047b86 Diff 1.15K/128 GPU 1 Pool 3 (Share above target.)
My friends reported the same with cgminer. Is there any problem on scrypt stratum ?

cgminer does not work, try sgminer :-)

True, cgminer 3.7.2 has a bug and doesn't work with our stratum (Due to the NiceHash's latest state-of-the art engine, older miners are not supported.) ... please read https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqs0 ... you'll find detailed information on which miners are supported (basically all except of cgminer 3.7.2 Wink ). You'll also find some useful information on how to configure your miners, how to squeeze some more hashrate by using optimized kernels, etc.

Miners are seriously needed! There are plenty good paying Scrypt orders! Give it a try and point your miners to NiceHash and get paid 4 times a day!

Just a quick note for GridSeed owners: If you're using GridSeed miners we suggest you to either use the latest BFGMiner for GridSeed (http://cryptomining-blog.com/1396-download-bfgminer-3-10-0-for-windows-scrypt-mining-on-gridseed-5-chip-asics/) or if you're using RasberyPi for the controller you can use Hashra Controla (http://hashra.com/support/), Hashra Controla GIT source (https://github.com/HASHRA/CONTROLA).

Is the scrypt-N servers down?  Huh

No, our Scrypt-A-Nfactor stratum is now down, it is just that currently there are no active orders for Scrypt-A-Nfactor. You have to use a backup pool. Please take a look at FAQ http://nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqs1, where this is explained in details.

335  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: April 14, 2014, 11:59:16 AM
- optionally select your desired speed (to-do)
You really need to add this option. Most pools use PPLNS and I don't think it works great with current system. If you mine for 1hr at insane speed, and then just switch it off, I'm pretty sure pool pays you a lot less. Also buying hashing power for a short period of time might screw you over if pool was unlucky during that time. Renting stable 10MH/s for 24hrs is a lot better than renting 500MH/s for 1hr IMO.

Will do it soon ... it on our high-priority top to-do list.

I would just like to add a few things about mining and renting hash power. When you hire a rig, you don't hire it because of the constant speed it offers, but because it can mine you some coins. To mine coins efficiently, it is all about proper timing. And what you need besides proper timing? High hashing speed - so that you can take all the blocks for yourself and maximize the profit.

Try to be more "open" minded and you will realize at the end, that this is a great service. NiceHash offers you proper timing (you can put order up and take it down whenever you want) and high hashing speed. Everything else are details and mind obstructions laid by other prior services.

It is strange, that not one of you talks about the main benefit you gain as a buyer - reliability. You don't have to be worried about rigs going down, you don't have to contact providers or open tickets to get a refund, you don't have to measure and monitor speeds constantly to see if the provider didn't trick you out for few khs.

If you asked me 2 months back if I would risk some BTCs to hire some hashing power to mine a coin - my answer would be no - not because I wouldn't know which coin to mine, but because I wouldn't trust anyone to hire rigs from. It is no problem to risk small amounts, that is acceptable, but imagine situation you would like to invest large amount, like 5 BTCs to get a decent amount of coins when there is a chance to get them at low diff rate. If the expected turn-over is then 5.5 BTCs, that means to actually earn 0.5 BTCs, you need to hire 100% reliable rigs. Now, how many rigs do you need to hire to get 1 GH/s hashing power? A lot! And how many of these will perform 100% reliably during this period? 80% if you are lucky. The rest, you will have to beg for refunds, extensions, wasting your time doing this and minimizing your profit.

NiceHash takes everything to the next level, because as a buyer, you can actually play by statistics and then actually win, even if the statistics tell you the profit is only 1% - at the end, you actually get this profit, hassle free.

If you ask me now, would I risk some BTCs to buy hashing power on NiceHash? Yes I would! Just let me find a coin on which it is worth (I am a bit rusty in that now, haven't been up with the scene lately). The only remaining thing to worry about is which coin (and pool) to pick - nothing else! And that is the major benefit of NiceHash.

And yes, in some cases, mining with 3 GH/s might be an overkill - if there is just few MH/s of network power, it is pointless to come in with 3 GH/s on a coin that adjusts diff quickly. A 100 MH/s hashing power would be enough. Now this is a feature that will come in soon - you will be able to limit your maximal hashing power.

After thinking for a while, there are other use cases for the service - not explored yet. Just let me give you some hints (assuming offered hashing speed is few GH/s in near future):
1. You can fork (shit) coins with this.
2. You can compete with multipools directly - if you can quickly detect these "holes" of low diffs on coins, you can extract a lot of coins out of this. I believe some already have algorithms for that and combining them with offered hashpower from NiceHash could really earn you some decent amount of coins, way above what you pay for hashes.
3. Use slush0's stratum proxy and you can solo mine with few GH/s - that one alone is worth trying once at least Wink
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / NiceHash.com - get paid more than mining on multipool - Scrypt/N/X11/X13/SHA3 on: April 14, 2014, 09:53:33 AM
If you haven't already heard - there is a new service out there, allowing you to earn more with your rigs!

Why use NiceHash for selling your hashing power? A couple of things to stress out:

- simple as using a multipool (no registration, no contracts, no bonds to either hash power buyers of NiceHash service)
- be paid more than multipool pays
- automatic payments in Bitcoins 4 times a day (so you can jump in to good payout very quickly)
- no limits - use as many rigs as you like
- textual and graphical statistics

I really welcome you to check on FAQ's. I would especially recommend these selected topics:

Any ETA on getting x11 added? Most of the popular renting services have it already. Would love to throw mine in here and give it a go.

X11 will be added soon, probably by the end of this week.

FYI: today we successfully migrated NiceHash.com to new server infrastructure. We just had a couple of minutes of downtime and of course no hash power or funds were lost, service has just been "on pause" for a couple of minutes. New rig owners (providers) are welcome, there are good paying orders already placed, waiting for additional hash power!

Well, take a look at the orders at NiceHash.com right now ... that's what djeZo was talking about Wink ... see new (higher priced) orders ... buyers are already utilizing the ability to get high hashing speed with just a few clicks, with no risks Wink
