321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Participation? on: November 19, 2017, 10:44:16 AM
How many people actually participate in the ICO stage of new alts? It would appear the obvious answer is a lot, considering the amount of money they raise. But isn't better to wait for the first storm to pass and then jump on after all the hoopla?

I think that the number depends on few factors: what is the minimum investment, do the ICO make an airdrop, do the ICO have a working product, do the ICO want to perform a KYC and few more.

The obvious correlations: lower minimum investment = most people, airdrop = even more people, KYC= a lot less people. But I think the quality here should be over quantity.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: November 19, 2017, 09:16:06 AM
At the beginning of November, VERI was at the bottom at 50USD but now is over 115USD.

What is the reason behind this price jump? Do you expect it to continue to 200 or 250USD?
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price 100 USD? on: November 19, 2017, 09:07:36 AM
It is up to 68 USD now, do you guys think it will act like bit coin cash and go up like crazy?

No, Bitcoin Cash pump was organized attack against the Bitcoin network and somebody make a lot of money from those who bought BCH at 2800 USD. And from the weak souls who sold BTC in the 20% panic drop.

LTC shown on testnet fast transactions and it's good alternative to ETH and BTC to store for value. I'm expecting 100 USD LTC price in less than 6 months.
324  Economy / Services / Re: Card counting coach, $15 / hr on: November 19, 2017, 06:54:15 AM
LOL. We are not 1990s anymore.

These days every serious casino have electronic shuffles and is returning the cards in it after EVERY played hand. Even if they don't, you will be blacklisted veryyy soon.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TrueFlip - Become a part of the world's largest blockchain lottery +Bounty on: November 19, 2017, 06:30:28 AM
Hello,

Why Hitbtc removed TrueFlip from trading? I was about to buy some TFL tokens there and found that the market is taken down.

Does they suspect something about your project or there is another reason for this?

HitBTC exchange has adopted a unilateral decision to cease trading TFL tokens. Our team is surprised to hear that, as TFL stays among a very few tokens supported with an operating business. The team will not perform any actions to continue partnership with this platform, but move forward in talks with other exchanges. As well, we concentrate on developing our products and the surrounding business processes.

Best Regards,
TrueFlip.io

It's good that you have a working lottery. That's the main reason to consider investing in you. But Operational business is worthless if you don't have a proper communication with your investors and partners.

What actions will perform your team. Your words sounds too general and in past few month you've done nothing to prove me wrong. I don't even could EtherDelta listing as team's effort. Every ERC20 token is there.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] P2PS: Economic Value Integrated into Secure Communication System on: November 19, 2017, 06:09:26 AM
The ANN provides all necessary details. Good luck with the project development. God speed.

The ANN does NOT have all the necessary details at all.

it's a promising project, massive media coverag about it.
I will invest a bit here and support the real project.
btw, do you have a plan for bounty campaign programs?

I've randomly checked 20 links - this looks fake. Text is the same in all publications, all are done through press-releases/paid publishing. There is nothing natural in this "massive media coverage".

I will check it deeper, but at this point, this ICO have big red dot.

327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are altcoins dead? on: November 18, 2017, 09:47:11 AM
If you check Coinmarketcap, you will see that today almost all alts  on 1st pages are GREEN. Total market cap is exceeding 238B.
Alts and tokens are the future from technology point of view. Bitcoin is for value.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TrueFlip - Become a part of the world's largest blockchain lottery +Bounty on: November 18, 2017, 08:20:30 AM
After Hitbtc delisting of TFL we are waiting more active Trueflip team work to list token to another big exchanges as the promice many times. Trueflip team need to be more active now and give more progress to the community.

Agree. I reviewed their activity and noticed that they was very active during the ICO period and then it seems like they disappeared, posting minimal info just from time to time. Additionally, seems they are still having unresolved issues from the bounty campaign.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MatrixCoin - Creating Bright Future Together! on: November 18, 2017, 06:47:21 AM
I don't know why people are so angry on the Private Whois. I'm always using it and it's not because I want to hide something. I just don't like spreading personal information. For example, I have one business domain back in 2006 with my real data... I'm still getting annoying phone calls 1-2 times per year for offering me investments and other s*ts, starting the conversation with are you XX from YY.

@OP, Move the HR line on FAQ over the bolded text.

331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: November 17, 2017, 10:37:23 AM
Hi All,

Now that BTG has completed, anyone buying waves? It's slightly higher today than it was yesterday but still worth buying.

How much will you be investing?

Smiley

I'm one of those who's buying WAVES Smiley I see waves as one of the platforms with biggest potential in 2018 because nowadays ICOs are very modern.
And still the price in BTC is cheap.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: November 17, 2017, 09:41:01 AM
The 1 year lock for private investors is really a good news and will preserve the utrust price. If they manage within this year to develop a full platform and integrate it with at least one big vendor, the price will go to the moon.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin UP BitCoinCash DOWN on: November 17, 2017, 07:30:12 AM
Both prices are driven by speculations and it's normal to have fluctuations. But I must admit I like what is happening with Bitcoin Cash after the last week attack against Bitcoin. The attack cost me a lot of overpaid fees and nerves.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: After Slamming BTC As A Money Laundering Tool JPMorgan Busted For Money Launder on: November 17, 2017, 07:06:00 AM
The ugly truth is that bitcoin is a money laundering tool,as well as all the altcoins, but the main money laundering system is the banking system and all the offshore companies around the world.
The "dirty" money from drugs, gambling, whoring will continue to be a major part of the world`s financial system. The greedy bankers want a part of them, so they will continue to support the  mafia.
I`m glad that the cryptocurrency community is still far away from this.

Nope, because Bitcoin is just technology with value. People are those who decide how to use it. You could do money laundering with bananas if you want and this is not making the bananas money laundering tool.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN GOLD SCAM SITE mybtgwallet.com on: November 16, 2017, 08:16:13 AM
We are also waiting for an official announcement. The devs from BTG told us that they've got access to the hosting server of the website and are investigating.
The developer of the website said he is investigating this too but the community acuses him for now until further proof.

The site is 1000% scam. You (all) should learn once at for all - never put your private keys on unknowns and suspicious sites.

My guess is that somebody hacked BTG site and put the phishing link there. It's pointless to steal some merely 40-50BTC and ruin a billions dollar cap project.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: November 16, 2017, 06:59:50 AM
Hi,

I was about to buy some deeponion and join the hype but then I check the project a little more deeply and now I could agree that there is something wrong in it.

The biggest red point for me is that they closed the source code of their wallet after version 1.2 to "protect" some copied technology. I'm not willing to install something like this on my computer.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit adding Segwit2X futures (1:1 btc ratio) on: November 15, 2017, 12:28:14 PM
Got an email from Yobit that they are adding Segwit2x fork future coins

I have no idea how this Segwit2x will work if there isnt enough hashpower to find a single block

http://yobit.net/en/yob2x/timer

Anyone got any info?

Will this be another surprise fork like Ethereum Classic where the dead chain simply reappears?

LOL. They are complete optimists.

I don't think we will see another dead chain. Just Yobit have the habit to credit forks in advance. If I recall it correctly they did the same with BCH or BTG.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coffeecoin Token Sale Start on: November 15, 2017, 11:46:58 AM
I think the project will do very well - it's a witty idea  Grin

>good dev
>Partner with OCL
>Wave will get a lot of Hype the Next days/Weeks because of the new DEX.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2013141.60
Okay it looks very very promising but for me this plan is not to perspective and project will stay for a long time in the same place.

I must agree with you. Coffeecoin have a potential but after crypto currencies get a wider adoption. Usually coffee manufacturing is in less technology developed counties and regions.

I will buy a small amount for future holding.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: November 15, 2017, 11:13:17 AM
Waves  features:

---Fast  transactions

---- no touring complete  smart contracts (safer than a  touring  complete  smart contract)

----- DEX  ( not  a  goode  interface tought)

----  tokens creation

-----   Ico  creation

WIill   waves   have  the  same  boom  that  ethereum had   last  year (2016) or not?

Will it kill Ethereum?

No, not a chance.

EtherDelta is much better than DEX and listing is free.
ETH volatility is much smaller than WAVES. This is huge plus for ICOs.

WAVES could grow up to $10-$15 but ETH will pass $400-500 in few months.
340  Economy / Gambling / Re: ETTA Games will accept bitcoin, but we need your help! on: November 15, 2017, 10:26:13 AM
Most important for me would be:

- Instant withdrawals
- Reasonable withdrawal fees
- No KYC requirements

No KYC requirements is a must, at least for me. I will never play at site with bitcoins who require KYC.

Withdrawals could be instant or at least close to instant (2h max).
