321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It seems like it's the end for bounties on: May 03, 2020, 04:36:29 PM
Each time I remember the bounties that I have participated in and am yet to be rewarded for it, I get discourage about crypto.
I keep asking a question, when will all this end ''disregarding bounty hunters" in terms of payment.
322  Other / Meta / Re: Can we trust user that spread false and dangerous news on COVID19? on: April 30, 2020, 01:30:06 PM
What annoys me most is hearing the number of death that has occur because of covid 19 pandemic. In my country (Nigeria) they haven't shown us people that have contacted it or die from it. But each day they keep giving us update about the figures of contacted patients and the money they needed to combat it. It's very pathetic and tiring hearing the broadcast on television
323  Other / Meta / Re: Top sections to get merits. on: April 30, 2020, 12:53:51 PM
There's no section in this forum you'll post something, people won't see it or comment on it. There's no exert section meant for merits source only. If your post is educating and more enlightened for people to gain knowledge from, expect to get merits from it. Irrespect of the sections

327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before investing in bitcoin, What should I think about? on: April 29, 2020, 10:49:54 PM
Bitcoin investment makes me think a lot.
Of course, it takes a lot of thought to invest in things like Altcoin, Stock, fund, not just Bitcoin.

I have to think of 5 questions before investing in something. And answer it.

1. Which Purpose Are You Pursuing?
2. How Much Can You Realistically Set Aside for Investing?
3. When Will You Need This Money Again?
4. How Much Should Risk?
5. What Should You Invest In?

What should I think more than this?
What thoughts did you go through before investing in Bitcoin?

My primary aim is to make money out of cryptocurrency and also in support of making bitcoin legally accepted globally.
1. To make millions out of crypto
2. I can willingly invest with my spare money
3. Anytime I sees much profit with the investment I made. Whether it is in years or month, will be able to wait patiently.
4. Depending on how much spare money I have at hand at that moment.
5. Bitcoin, eth or any other promising projects I finds interest on
328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does creating topics improve you a lot? on: April 29, 2020, 03:13:49 PM
Having only that mindset of posting to gain merits is too wrong. We shouldn't forget in a hurry that this forum is created for people to gain knowledge about crypto globally. Albeit quality post about crypto is what we need, as we're here to learn and share knowledge to one another.
329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit isn't everything in bitcointalk! on: April 29, 2020, 02:47:30 PM
We all believed that having merits signifies you are a good poster. Lest we all forget the knowledge we get when someone contributes or give his or her own opinion without been merit upon. It don't necessarily mean those that doesn't have merits, doesn't contribute meaningfully in this forum that's why the find it hard to rank up.
330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and Problems on: April 29, 2020, 02:27:32 PM

331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop Discussion on: April 25, 2020, 04:43:26 PM
this is not a scam, it's just a free coin so those who say this scam is a fool, no market they say scam, the price is too cheap they say scam, no sale and buy transactions they say also scam
To you, airdrop are not scam. Alright, try and invest in minereum token. You'll understand what airdrop is all about. Any airdrop that has no value remains worthless and has no need of participating in it. Gone are the days when airdrop pays
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: April 25, 2020, 04:29:41 PM
This is the most funniest prediction about bitcoin price ever seen in this forum. Your price speculation is unbelievable ($100k). For bitcoin to actualize that particular amount will be when the whole world has widely (legally) accept bitcoin as a currency.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: April 24, 2020, 10:19:13 PM
Possibilities of that happening is very slim. The highest price ethereum can go this year is $480, nothing above that. Let's be hopeful that bitcoin halving and the launch of ethereum 2.0 will trigger eth price this year
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 24, 2020, 09:54:35 PM
If am to suggest, this is the right time to invest more of bitcoin cos bitcoin halving is around the corner. This is life time opportunity that comes once in four years "bitcoin halving''. We can't dare to miss that golden opportunity despite the pandemic
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Audio money in crypto on: April 24, 2020, 12:28:00 PM
Audio money indeed. I could imagine how happy you were when you view your wallet address on etherscan. There will be shouts of excitement that you have gotten a thousand dollar during this lock down. It's pitiful that it turns out this way. I believe next time you will earn your pay in crypto.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: April 24, 2020, 12:12:54 PM
I don't agree with your findings. The pandemic is affecting new and existing project from launching their project. Assuming a project is been launch, who will invest into in it when nothing seems to be moving forward. As far as I know many investors are not ready to invest with their upkeep money when they don't have means of getting money.
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 24, 2020, 11:40:32 AM
Well advise but the key to them all is patience. Once you don't seems to have it, you'll be highly frustrated cos your whole mindset is to strategize and make quick money. Crypto market requires the ability to wait and keep your emotions aside while the market fluctuate until it favors you
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 23, 2020, 08:08:48 AM
When I started trading on crypto, I was first introduced to Coinmarketcap by my friends. Still then I have been using it until recently I get to find out about CoinGecko through a project I invested in.
If am to say CoinGecko is more preferable than Coinmarketcap cos there's no faking of value in it
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: April 23, 2020, 07:53:15 AM
Technically speaking, no, we cannot delete 'dead' coins in our wallet like it is a social media account that we no longer use unless it is ERC20 tokens, maybe? Kidding aside, as what have been said on thr earlier posts of other users you can send your coins into unknown addresses but their would be a gas money which would be some kind of a hassle. I suggest keeping them as a remembrance. You are not the only one being in such situation. I also have many dead coins, and I doubt others don't especially those who are here for years already. Most of the dead coins I have, are from bounty projects way back 2017 before the huge decline occurred. I have no choice but to keep them with quite of a hope that those coins will have a value someday, if there would be a miracle which would lift the market in general. Selling those coins would be a waste of time at this moment. You would rathet get a 'loss' than earning profit from doing so.
If you are still hoping that your dead coin will have value someday, just remove that mindset from thought cos it's never gonna happen. The best thing to do is to hide them from your wallet "not to see them again''. Those shitcoin is very annoying
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 23, 2020, 07:36:59 AM
Success is when the project and the investors has actualize their main goal which is making profit. A project is not yet successful when there's no profit in it. All project are created to be successful in the market
