321  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: December 08, 2018, 10:57:04 AM
I think that technology has not reached that stage yet where we don't need to do any manual labor.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: December 08, 2018, 10:50:31 AM
I think education and skills development can raise productivity and improve a person's quality of living. Good, quality education for everyone. It would reduce poverty in the long run as educated and skilled people can find jobs and earn a good living.
323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: December 08, 2018, 10:47:12 AM

The fact is that god is not a scientific theory, hypothesis or anything, it's just religion. It's by definition something that you have to believe in based on faith, not evidence, which is what everyone does. Faith is not a good path to the truth, that's also a fact.

In my opinion, the experiences with God are not necessarily based on faith or belief. Some people have experienced true, personal, life changing miracles that prove to them God is real. To them, they don't need to believe in God, they know God exists.

326  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: December 06, 2018, 06:13:28 PM
Mass adoption, in my opinion, would make bitcoin a lot more stable.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the Causes of Depression? on: December 06, 2018, 06:09:24 PM
I think depression could be caused by too much pressure from people around, getting constant failure, or it could be the feeling that life is meaningless.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: December 06, 2018, 06:01:00 PM
Yes, I agree with the recommendation for diversification, it won't get you in trouble if things don't go as planned.
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meditation can solve your problems. on: December 06, 2018, 05:58:13 PM
Meditation requires so much concentration on the breath. It requires quite a lot of discipline in my opinion.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: December 06, 2018, 05:10:54 PM
People need some sort of trustworthy trading instrument to exchange products and services. If fiat money is a trustworthy instrument of value, it is good enough. It does not have to be based in gold or another rare commodity, it needs to be supported by the government and public agreement.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: December 06, 2018, 05:04:34 PM
investment and the stock market I think that all risk and choice depends on the person's confidence in choosing and starting to invest and make decisions
both of this market has equal risk involved, and in which place we want joined depend on our character.are we risk taker on conservative investor?

Yes, I believe so too. It has to do more with the risk appetite of the investor than which market is suitable to invest in.
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Researchers Develop an Algorithm to Detect Crypto Scams Before They Happen on: December 06, 2018, 05:02:59 PM

333  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Genetic Engineering of Humans on: December 06, 2018, 04:52:35 PM
I'm in the "it's inevitable and should be regulated" camp. I believe that it is the present and future of science. To create a future society where there is less disease and illness.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: December 06, 2018, 04:40:06 PM
With the current economy, the fears about the Brexit, Italy, the Sino-American problems and the general pessimism among investors; It looks like Gold is coming back the past months. At the same time, countries like the EU, Japan & China are reducing their investments in the economy,
(it should also reduce demand for the USD?)

Even the Central banks are buying more Gold (+13% from the previous year). Economists predict a dark year for 2019 and it seems a lot of large funds are now buying Gold massively. Especially from Asia and Soviets.

Gold, silver, land, these are investments for people with little appetite for risk. Crypto is a high risk/high return investment, for a different type of people in my opinion.
335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is wrong with today's society? on: December 06, 2018, 04:38:03 PM
Humanity has always been like that. Just for some reason, you began to notice it right now. Perhaps this is due to your personal problems or depression. If the latter is true, then you need to seek help from a psychologist.
And people have always been mostly insidious and selfish. Read Shakespeare or just a book on history, and you will understand that for hundreds of years, humanity has not become better or worse. Everything is as usual.
If all this is so depressing to you, try changing the world around you, starting with yourself. Smile more to people, do good deeds. Perhaps then you will see a response from others and begin to see more positive things in your life.

Very philosophical, and I agree with the sentiment. Humanity has remained somewhat unchanged in my opinion. The people of a thousand years ago are as evil/good as the people of today.
336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about crypto startups for children??? on: December 06, 2018, 04:28:45 PM
I think it is a good idea for education, however they need to be completely knowledgeable about the mechanics and principles of blockchain before investing. Parents need to give guidance and be supportive in my opinion.
337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Friends on: December 06, 2018, 04:16:30 PM
In my opinion, it is not quantity of friends that is important, it is the quality of the friendship
338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: history of money on: December 06, 2018, 04:10:19 PM
Thanks for the infographic illustration of money.
339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lawsuit for concentration camp death on: December 02, 2018, 08:44:49 AM
I wonder where this 60 million dollar figure came from, and is this penalty paid from tax revenues? Also, is there proof that the child died because of poor health care? The article gave very little info, so I have to ask you.

I am assuming it is paid from tax revenues, but that would cause outrage among the US citizens. Their tax money is being spent on litigation rather than on developing the country's infrastructure and public welfare.
