321  Economy / Economics / Re: The rate of value between financial Utilizations and Diversifications of income on: March 01, 2024, 06:20:07 AM
In most cases, some person's with just a source of income meets a greater height in achieving great things than those who has multi source of incomes.
So, if a diversified investor is not efficient enough to utilize the incomes, then his incomes is said to be void in as much as you don't keep a reliable bankroll and you don't stress on achieving great things.

Let's discuss!
it is the quest for effective utilisation of income that brings into play th idea to diversify your income into a different alternative.

The only time diversifying your income could be a bad option is when the person doesn't have what it takes to managing the different sources of income if not the best thing to do as someone that's currently earning from a single source is to put your savings into another source that can still fetch you more income. You can't be 💯 certain about what can happen to your job in the future so it's always best to invest into other sectors so in case a sector is having some downtime, you could easily sustain yourself from another sector while waiting for things to get better in the bad sector.

I understand the power of specialisation in a choosen field and how it can boast your productivity to a very large extent but with regards to job and financial security, I'm not a big fan of over deo ndence on a single streams of income.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $68,742.31 on: March 01, 2024, 06:05:31 AM
Congrats! Price discovery here we come!

The march to $100K continues…

Where do we settle in for the next leg of accumulation?

it's been BTC season  for real.

To know that it's been revolving around $42k+ for weeks back and one would have normally thought the highest it can get within such a small period of time would probably be around $50k+  and it's just rewarding seeing how far it has gone to this height of $62k+ and it's still counting and climbing steadily.

This is just a signal to what will happen in five to ten years to come when this current price would probably be loooked at as a bearish period.
323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me out starting out my bitcoin and musical journey on: February 29, 2024, 04:20:28 PM

My Mac is too old, not eligible for updates  so that I could run bitcoin as well as sluggish with music and my finance situation is not going well for various reasons at this particular time.

I ask if you’d like to support me
first off, this is a wrong way to start up a conversation in a platform you are new to and  were no one knows shit about you. You should have at least exercise a little bit of patience just so you know what this place is all about.

Having interest in Bitcoin isn't a bad idea and except you want to go into Bitcoin mining you don't really need any suphisticated garget before  being a full time bitcoinnier, with the device you used in making this post, you can start with it maybe to get the basic knowledge you need but since you're still struggling financially, it would not be all that necessary to invest into Bitcoin at this moment cause from the way you sound you're basically looking at a short term source of income.

Look for something around you that can fetch you money And sort yourself out and desist from begging random people for help.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you & friends thought of engaging on any unfamiliar activity for gambling on: February 29, 2024, 06:25:33 AM
Has gambling been set illegal in your place and due to how much you and friends love to gamble, you would just think of a unique activity that you can play even in the public and people would never suspect it that there is stake placed in the game?

I have had similar experience in my local community where i reside. In those days when sports betting wasn't as popular as what we have now,the popular gambling we knew of was playing of cards where each person brings an amount like $1 and let's say they are four altogether it will now compound to $4 and at the end of the play whoever wins goes with the $4 dollar.  We will play it for different rounds and when some people see that they've won above the amount they came with, they will want to quite half way which will result in fighting and in some cases serious violence. It got to the authority and they had to barn the playing of cards but we didn't allow the ban to stop us oh, we can even go as far as enteing the forest just to play our whote
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: February 29, 2024, 06:07:37 AM
So I brought this topic to let us know that in gambling, if you just play it as though you don't take it seriously whether you win or lose then you might surprisingly win an amount that will amaze you one day and it would look as if you're smart or you know how to predict the outcome of events and in most cases, when a gambler wins they doesn't really care much about their previous losses regardless of the amount they won.

normally, regardless of the loss that happens sometimes, gambling has paved way for lots of folks out thier and wins like this  is normally something that happens almost on a weekly bases for me in sports gambling.

Sometimes after you've had series of losses that has almost weighed you down, luck will just shine on you and you get a win that relieves you off all the pains of the past. Some might look at it as a tactics that is used to bring you back for more but for me, it's a compensation for the joy of the game. If you're my type of gambler that plays 2h as my maximum amount, loses don't shake us at all, we are always certain that before we loose straight ten times, we must will back one time which will cover up for all the looses. Believe.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: February 28, 2024, 06:46:56 AM
👉👉when you are in need of money urgently
Some people gamble the most when they are in need of urgent money. They use the little in their account to gamble believe they can double the money in no time through gambling to do what they want to do. This most times go wrong making them to lose the little they should have save for that purpose
when you are in urgent need of money anything looks like a source of liberation and playing with such state of mind can course you the little you already have. As simple as the advice never to gamble when you're in dear need of money sound, that has been the general practice of somany people. Some don't even know anything fun about gambling, the only thing they are after is how they can double Thier earning or the amount they already have and at the end of the day they end u loosing all they already have.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 28, 2024, 06:40:03 AM
If you know anybody trying to stop the addiction of gambling to become better for themselves and their family, try and show them support by not criticizing them. If you observe that they experience some kind of relapse and go back to gamble even when they said they were not going to gamble, try to encourage them to remember why they wanted to stop gambling for the time. It is not an easy decision for some of them to make, and even imagining that they will never gamble again can make it worse for them, most of them need all the support they can get to help them maintain the decision to give gambling some time away. If you criticize and mock them, they may nurse in the heart the mindset that gambling is impossible to stop, or even stop trying to stop gambling because you have already made them feel like they can never do it.
the reality is that most persons that are suffering from addiction don't always see the need to speak out and in most instances they will keep struggling in Thier addictive lifestyle until it directly and evidently tell on them.

It's practically difficult to understand what an addict is going through and sometimes you might find yourself being a bit judgmental about his behaviour but addiction is real and  if you are in a possible to bring a fellow out do it with all you've got because anybody can get addicted and it takes others to basically bring an addict out of his plight.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 28, 2024, 06:29:27 AM
This is just like asking if one should go to school because of the increase in the amount  of school fees.
The value of Bitcoin is gaining and by virtue of it volatile nature it might come down at some point and still climb high but the fact that it had gone high doesn't mean that buying  Bitcoin at the moment is anytime late. if you don't accumulated today, chances are that when you've finally decided to go into start your accumulating journey the rice might have gone above what it currently his now and it wouldn't mean that it's still to advance to get started and that time it's just that you will need to probably hold a bit longer
329  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Jungle justice for Nija on: February 28, 2024, 06:09:39 AM
Like you've been told already, before making  any post in any board, do your research to ensure that what you are posting hasn't been posted by another person. From the look of your account it's even obvious that you're still new to the forum and creating topic as a bigginer isn't always the best thing to do. Do your research, read through what your fellow newbies and Jnr members are posting and read through the replies to learn from them so you don't fall into  a situation as this.

if you have an idea about an already created topic, you can contribute but it's best you use this period to set a good foundation so you don't bridge the rules of posting in the different board.  You can also ask questions to get clearity in the beginners and help board but always search if such question has already been asked so you just go through the replies and get the answer you are probably looking for.

Thier are lots of useful link that can help you get the basics in the forum and I will advice that you take your time and read through it so you will be better equipped to navigate through the forum effectively.

Here are the links

330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 28, 2024, 05:33:02 AM
People neglect this fact of time wasted can not be recovered and missing the chances of buying from the DIP, may only amount to purchasing in a much higher price.
well, in this context  of buying the DIP,  Thier is nothing much about time wasted. Whatever time you decide to buy is actually a good time as long you're willing to wait long enough. Like boss JJG said earlier,  the better time to buy is yesterday but we know that's already gone so the best time to buy is definitely today. Even if in the next months it goes above the  current $57k and gets as high as $70k, it might look a bit bullish for someone that's looking at buying for a short term but it's still reasonable to buy at that amount.

Some will still join the market during an higher bullish period of say maybe the next seven years and let's assume the price has gone as high as $90k+, looking at the price from a short term perspective might seem a bit discouraging  to make an entry at that price but for someone joining the market at that time that can't reverse the hands of time back to the current $57k price of today, he is still good to go with that price as long as he is willing and able to hold for the long term and so that current price he meets it and he had the r source to start his Bitcoin accumulating journey is definitely the best time to start.

331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What significant impact is expected of new members of the forum? on: February 27, 2024, 09:15:23 AM
Like I said earlier I'm open to learning and I'll need answers from anyone so far you're telling me the right thing, I'll read everyone's reply and take note of everything you say cause I believe it would help me grow.
this forum is a world of it own that follows similar partern as what is applicable in the normal world. At some point you might appear lost and things might become uninteresting for you but what will basically keep you going is the goal you want to achieve that brought you to the forum. If you have an ititial plan before joining the forum like learning everything about Bitcoin, accumulating up to a certain amount of Bitcoin, growing to a certain rank or doing one or two things in the forum turn regardless of the limitation you might be experiencing temporarily, it will be the driving force that will keep you going.

But the best way to thrive has always been that you learn as much as possible, contribute much as your knowledge can carry and also invest into Bitcoin.

Remember that your knowledge isn't complete until you've applied what you've read and learnt so while reading through post, apply the knowledge you've received and start buying Bitcoin while you're still learning.
332  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria board sprint on: February 27, 2024, 08:59:31 AM
Hey

I am impressed with Nigeria board performance.
Take a look at posts per month race of local boards, and see Nigeria sprint from October-20 to Jan-24, from 75 to 3255 posts!!

the nija spirit is always at work for real.

The nija local board has proven to be one of the most active board in the forum and seeing the positive move from third most active local board to becoming the second most active local board is a course to celebrate.

The only thing we just need to do more is to encourage those coming behind us to keep the fire burning and to also do more of replying to already existing threads rather than creating multiple threads that have lots of It kind existing in the board already.

This is also the best time to bring up the conversation of looking for morit source and that sub board be added to our Nija board so we can get out post in the right perspective.

Nija economy discussion don too plenty for the local board and if you look am well Na one of the important thing when de necessary make we talk about but if like a separate sub board de when we go de post all these relevant economic matter e for make sense aswr. I believe say our snr men go try look into the matter and go back to meta go reawaken the discussion make we see if we fit see any positive thing out of it. If we fit get more merit source and at least two sub board for the year, it would be a big achievement for us.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: February 27, 2024, 06:29:18 AM
Let us discuss in this thread the things one should completely avoid while gambling. Here are some suggestions according to me :

1) Do not gamble in work area : It is not ethical to do so. Your employer is paying you to work for him for certain hours. If you waste these hours for gambling, it is a bad habit.

2) Do not take loan to gamble: Some young guys are so irresponsible that they take loans to gamble. It is a very bad move and can even produce life threatening conditions in future when loan recover agents knock your door.
do not gamble just to recover your lost money.

This has led so many persons to loosing the money they had left because they where trying to gain back what they've lost. Once you have that mentality that you're going to recover all your lost money chances are that you will loose more.

Most of my greatest win has been those I just staked without putting so much emphasis and hope into. If gambling is always depending on your level of experience or analysis you could easily strategize and win back our lost money but since it's a 50/50 situation, you just play your game and wait for the outcome and don't allow your past win or success influence your current game.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules on: February 27, 2024, 06:20:59 AM
So this led me to ask the general public if I am gambling too much, although this excess didn't affect my finances in any way since I still managed to come out with little winning at the end of the day and at some level, my losses are still below 30 percent of my set out money.
you know the reason why you've set such rule for yourself and if the outcome of breaking such rule is affecting what you're trying to avoid, it's surely a signal that you should have a rethink and cut off fr going above the set out limit.

When you say your loses is still above 30% of your set out money are you referring to 30% of your earnings or the special amount you've set out to be used in course of your gambling? If it's with respect to the amount you've set out to be used in gambling I don't think you would have considered it q big deal to have prompt d you to become concerned but if is around 30% of your monthly earnings you really need to advice to yourself and cut off from the harbit.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: If being a graduate is the key to being wealthy, why are there poor graduates? on: February 27, 2024, 05:56:49 AM
Well it's not basically about being educated or graduating with the best grades that makes you wealthy, it's about determination, being consistent and also persistent cause success and wealth are not achieved in one day or immediately after graduating. In as much as you have good grades, you must still improve your skills, not only job skills, marketing or management skills but your critical thinking and problem solving skills.
schooling is just part of the stages of life that helps you navigate through your adulthood  effectively. The knowledge you get in the higher institution is first off to help you perfect and practice in a chosen carrier or and to help shape Thier views about things that will at the end of the day make them prepare Thier minds to facing the reality of life.

It's not a sure ticket to financial fredom and doing well at school doesn't directly translet to being wealthy but the advantage is that if you did well in school and you bring that same level of committent to the circular society, it's going to be defficult to still remain poor. Coming out with first class is not a small feet that anyone can just accomplish by mere wishfull thinking. Its a product of dedication and dewcipline to your academics whish are basically the needed ingredient that will carry you through life easily.
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 26, 2024, 07:22:07 AM
Speculating on current price is actually for people who do daily trades and if they are planning to hodl then I guess much better they should avoid participating on any discussion like this since their decision making might be affected and they could done bad decision that can stop their plans and make them a loser in short span.
Thier is nothing wrong if someone that's trading participate in this discussion. Isn't it possible that someone that was into trading and had been experiencing loses in the process might come through this conversation and have a rethink which will most likely make him shift to HOLDing his Bitcoin rather than doing a short term trading?

The whole essense of this discussion and the forum in general is basically to sharpen peoples perspective about making the right investment putting everything in the right perspective and I'm sure thier are lots of people that joined the discussion as traders but in the long run haven seen the advantages involved in accumulating for the long term have shifted Thier initial plan and are currently long term holders.

How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience?
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
I need help from those with experience in this field
of course Thier are lots of fake gambling site out Thier with a majority of other goods one that have also been cloned and something you can get bothered if you're actually using the original site or question the authenticity of the gambling site you're gaming with and i guess this is where he various signature campaign that's on the forum comes in.

Since the forum has longed been known to have distanced itself from scam site it's definitely the best place to look out for good sites you can trust as long as it concerns a good and reliable gambling site. I have personally looked at the different campaigns that's related to gambling and I can guarantee that they are all legit and arnt scams.

339  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Human capital development over infrastructural development. on: February 26, 2024, 05:56:52 AM
If we fucose more on developing ourselves and depending more on ourselves for jobs in our nation, it will go a long way in reducing the rate of unemployment and dependence on external workforce to a very large extent.
I don been talk am before and I go reiterate again, until we begin use those resource when baba God give us take solve our problems, we go continue to de like slaves for the hands of this foreigners.

The funny thing here be say most politician don see am as competition to see which governor go build more infrastructure than the other. Dem go de call Thierselves Mr project while the project na mere bridges when no get any long term impact for the lives of the average citizens and till most of Thier administration finish, you no go take eye see any serious training when Dem give to the youths to take help build Thier capacity.

Like my former governor when use billions of naira take build more than ten fly overs, imagine say him invest like half of that money into creating a standard technical training centre for industrial student to be trained during Thier industrial attachment. Do you know how valuable that would have been? But like you talk am, Na infrastructural development de Thier mind and wetin be the benefit when the masses go get from am? To  just Waka untop the bridges without jobs and with empty stomach and you feel you've developed the State? It's a shame.
340  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Afta excitement, reality go set in on: February 26, 2024, 05:41:23 AM
Make una set something aside to buy and hodl. Nothing is too small. Nor talk sey you nor dey betta campaign na im make you nor go fit do am. Nor give dat excuse. Endure now to reap dis bull run. I nor know who I dey talk to but I sabi sey e get wan or two people wey dis post go dey useful for.

God bless all owa hustles... One luv!
as funny as it seems, the current economic situation hit everybody from different works of life and those of us when de signature campaign still de follow feel the effect of the bad economy and e de really affect our ability to holding a reasonable amount of Bitcoin even when we have the intentions to doing so.

Bills choke and with the signature earning when even make sense pass wetin most civil servants de earn, I come de imagine how person fit de survive with 30k to 80k monthly salary for this economy and the sad reality Na say most persons actually de feed from hands to mouth from this money when government de pay most of her workers.

The best thing to do is to assume that you're earning 50% of your signature pay just so you can invest the rest into accumulating Bitcoin because anything when make that money enter this our Nija currency, bills go choke like outa it oh.
