321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play in btc casino that doesn't offer Bonus ? on: February 18, 2016, 10:19:02 PM
I don't gamble. Casino's offer bonuses to suck people into giving away more money to their establishment. Your better off getting a job at a casino to and earn money there rather than attempting to win money from one.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: February 18, 2016, 10:14:16 PM
Most people buy and sell Bitcoin to make money. Because it's so volatile it's like trading on the stock market. I don't use Bitcoin that way; I use it both as a method of payment and a way to invest my earnings.

I might take on your project if you put your funds in an escrow service first.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 18, 2016, 10:06:17 PM
Everyone in this thread saying gambling makes them money are only fooling themselves. Are you guys accounting for the losses versus the wins? I'm sure if you add everything up you've lost more than won. You may as well do binary options, at leas you have some prediction.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: February 18, 2016, 10:02:40 PM
Yes it is true that Bitcoin is used for illegal purposes, but this is an isolated incident. More people will know about the cryptocurrency in the future and there will be less and less incidents like this.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: February 18, 2016, 08:24:06 PM
There really is no reason to have a Bitcoin bank. It's a new technology still under development. In the future, when the applications of Bitcoin start to really take off, the banking system may collapse.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 18, 2016, 08:20:53 PM
I store my bitcoins on my Android tablet, It's a hot wallet so I don't need to wait for the data to sync. I would probably use cold storage for higher amounts, however.
328  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is 0.12 with pruned mode a good idea for newbies? on: February 16, 2016, 09:03:05 PM
It's interesting because when I was a newbie to Bitcoin I used core. My friends were hastling me about downloading the bootstrap.dat file to speed up synchronization. I agree with OP that Core is safest, however.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost password on: February 16, 2016, 07:20:24 PM
If you remember part of your password, you can ask someone who knows Python or another language to hack into your wallet. Other than that, you're out of luck.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 15, 2016, 05:40:19 PM
Gambling is addictive because you get a high from winning large sums of money. It is taught in basic Psychology classes that reward = repeated behavior, and that's how people get trapped.
331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: February 15, 2016, 05:32:14 PM
People are still recommending faucets to get Bitcoin these days? It's nothing more than dust.
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: February 15, 2016, 05:27:49 PM
I'm probably going to buy a CyberPower computer from newegg.com once I have the money. It looks like my reputation here on this forum is helping me to accomplish this goal.

334  Economy / Services / C# programmer for hire on: February 15, 2016, 03:19:05 AM
I have some experience in VB.NET and C#. I took an intro to Windows programming course at a community college a few years ago. I have made a SwagBucks bot in the past, although that was in the past  and I am currently working on another bot. I have worked with proxies, Tor, Captcha solving and website automation. If you want to have a look at some of my code, feel free to PM me, and I will show you what I am currently working on. The program isn't done yet. In addition, I will be creating another bot in the future that collects free frequent flyer miles.

I can make a simple app for you to demonstrate my Windows programming skills if you want.
335  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My website has a new look on: February 15, 2016, 03:07:57 AM
Thanks everyone. I won't be home in a while and the website itself, well some of my files went missing so I don't havve that old theme. It's not a hard job for me to put my website/portfolio together when I get home. I have a 32' TV I plan on testing the new themes on. The old one was garbage, but if you want to have a look at it it's available at http://web.archive.org.
336  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My website has a new look on: February 14, 2016, 05:19:06 PM
I didn't like the theme that was up there so I switched to a different bootstrap layout. Not online yet, but here's a screenshot:
337  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to teach people PHP/MySQL/HTML/CSS - One To One on: February 13, 2016, 06:56:13 PM
I mostly taught myself programming. If I wanted to learn with the help of someone else I would go to University, that is unless, you're an accredited institution
338  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My website has a new look on: February 12, 2016, 04:50:42 PM
My new theme is better than the old one. Iv;e got limited time today, but I will implement your suggestions. Expect something more fancy in 48 hours (I'm very busy IRL at the moment)
339  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My website has a new look on: February 12, 2016, 03:21:52 AM
In google chrome the site looks messed up, the menu and header are over lapping, also the links do not seem to work. It is too basic.
I haven't tested it in chrome yet. I am mostly a Firefox person. A simple bit of code can fix that.

EDIT:

You're probably using a low resolution monitor
340  Bitcoin / Project Development / My website has a new look on: February 12, 2016, 02:54:20 AM
I've finally had the time to redesign my website. This time it's astetically pleasing. My last template  wass made with and older version of Dreamweaver. This time I modded a bootstrap.css template. I hope this time I did better. In the future, I plan on learning more and have an even better template than now. I even plan on making a quick change to the code so users can see different templates I made.
