Does this work on the latest android m?
I see it will surely. What Anroid device do you have that has a 6.0 version? Are you sure you want to root that just to access this free space? Depends on the unit but rooting M is not yet fully supported by all devices running on M even it is universal. Although new force root for this are released. htc m8 running google play edition rom rooted. I flashed the zip but didn't get the 50GB space Did you got the mail?? And did you completed the 5 tasks?? Because I am sure this method works!! |

i did have 1 problem i will say not a big deal.
the apk is really old and does not support 2 auth so i had to disable my 2 auth and then set up the app and then update dropbox apk and then enable 2 auth again no big deal

sucks its only for 2 years. I myself have 22GB free off dropbox if i was to do this i get 72GB but 50 of it will be taken away in 2 years is it worth it ?
I am not sure if this is for 2 years only and then gets taken away...but you can try and use till 50GB is present as there is no expiration date present when this gets activated.I personally checked my account in which I activated today!! |

I haven't tested these files, but if you're worried that they might be malicious you can simply search for the original apk files from Samsung rom's. Specialty sites have tutorials on how to do this. Also, as far as I remember, for this to work you have to edit a system file in order to identify your device as a Galaxy S for this to activate.
You have to Only flash this zip file and then login in dropbox account and there will be 7 task out of which 5 task we have to do which are very easy and then you get 50 GB Space!! |

There are no minimum Requirements for android version but your android device must be rooted and this will work only 1 time with 1 phone!!!
I don't know how it actually works but I came to know that samsung device come with dropbox installed and if you login through it it will give you extra 50GB. So I think there is special kind of apk or permissions that dropbox and samsung gives.

If the .apk included in the flashfile doesn't have a minimum requirement meaning it's a force install or should I say a lower version which has lack of features. Basically 50gb is not a mod because it is server sided so no script changed can modify in the .apk. Anyways does this apply also if you logged in thru a browser (desktop)? You already tried? Yes I tried and it worked, you can see the screenshot in above comments!! I think this is very old version of droopbox that we are flashing!! And the 50Gb can be seen on web and mobile If it worked for you doesn't mean it will work for everyone. It is very likely that there is a backdoor in the flash. Basically all it does is to change your current device to a SAMSUNG one and get the 50gb promotion from Dropbox. This can easily be done by using a file manager - change device build/manufacturer - reboot - start Dropbox. There is no need to flash anything. MayBe It might work and it might not. I am just Sharing!! |

It may have backdoors, if not viruses. But I've heard its pretty common method, which is more or less monitored by Dropbox, so won't work most of the time
Its very common method but it was actually for only Samsung mobiles only !! But this Method Works for all Mobiles!! |
