321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: February 18, 2020, 02:22:24 AM

its benefits are focused only on individuals,

Thank God, that the benefits of bitcoin are focused only on individuals, which is a great thing never seen before from any other technology like blockchain, that is how decentralization works!

I don't know how we still see people not realizing that decentralization is what will change our society drastically for good and benefit everyone, bringing power and freedom back to the people.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: COIMATIC - Blockchain Meets ecommerce ( Launching Live Portal Soon) on: February 18, 2020, 01:17:06 AM
Is there any chance to do swap of coinmatic? I miss the updates and now I still hold the coins I earned from bounty support.

323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Printing money out of thin air is a big problem for our current society. on: February 17, 2020, 09:41:08 PM
It seems to me that paper money should stop printing paper money so as to remain faraway from the slavery of the people  which is doing tons of injury to the worldwide economy  but i do not think that's possible it's long dominated the market and therefore the banks have supported it. many of us feel that their transactions through FIAT are distant  therein case  paper money can't be stopped albeit it's a serious problem for the present society.

Just remember that everything starts will an idea in mind, in the same way, printing money started a long time ago as an idea to solve a necessity, that solution at this point in time is not efficient anymore, it might still be useful but not helping society to move to the next level!

A group of people supporting the idea of stoping printing money is needed, and everything will follow suite!
324  Other / Beginners & Help / Just one place to see crypto updates? on: February 17, 2020, 09:14:39 PM
I wonder if exist already a website or web platform where people can see just in one place updates of different crypto projects, updates like status of the main net, swap process if any, important dates, follow-ups, so crypto holders of different projects don't have to be searching one by one of each project and looking for recent updates on so many different places.

If someone has many different coins they need to find recent information and updates, so they can save time and avoid searching on different platforms like a telegram group, chat rooms, discord, twitter, slack, etc,

I bet such service exists and if so it will help a lot of people to save time. And if such a project exists it will have a lot of potentials to grow.
These days we see a lot of projects each one working on their own when many of them can work in a coordinated way and share common things.

325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re:  INTERNET OF COINS ⛓ blockchain freedom (r)evolution ⛓ [ CROWDFUND CLOSED ] on: February 16, 2020, 02:51:03 AM
Kicking off 2020 with some big news, we just sent out the following email to our crowdfund donators:

Dear reader,
We are pleased to announce the kickoff of our hybrix token campaign! The campaign will start on a beautiful date: 02.02.2020!
As a gesture for donating to the Internet of Coins project the past few years, you are selected as the first to receive the hybrix HY placeholder token. This placeholder will be distributed on the Ethereum chain.

The hybrix token

The hybrix token (HY) is a token that lives on the Ethereum chain, Bitcoin chain, Ripple chain and all other compatible chains simultaneously. It is a true hybrid asset that can be beamed trustlessly across DLTs; a first in the world of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.
Quote
"To solve the problem of interoperability, HY operates both within and on top of all these ledgers. It can hold and move value between multiple DLTs. HY is a second-level token protocol that can transact units of account on a single ledger, or over multiple ledger (e.g. blockchain) systems. Its transactions are stored on the DLT involved."
—Excerpt from the Yellow Paper

How to receive the placeholder

On February 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM (CET) we will take a snapshot of all existing Internet of Coins wallets that contain XHY tokens on any of the seven chains these were initially distributed.

Make sure to check your balance using your original wallet credentials so you are ready to receive the placeholder.
After the snapshot has been taken, you will be notified the moment you have received the HY tokens according to snapshot data. We will also notify you as soon as HY becomes available on exchanges. This process takes some time, so please have some patience.

Best Regards,
Joachim de Koning
Founder of hybrix and Internet of Coins

Is there any news about when the HY place holder token will be distributed at the ETH network to the holders of XHY?
Will XHY be replaced by this new token at ETH?
One coin on different blockchain sounds interesting.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] (CED) CEDEX 1st Ever certified blockchain diamond exchange on: February 16, 2020, 02:21:58 AM
I did send 2 emails to the official email of this project in November of 2019 and until today there is no answer, why would the team have an email if they they don't answer?
It would be better not to have it and just use telegram, or create aAMA sessions more often to keep the supporters updated!

Message sent to DM here of this forum, let's see if there s any answer...
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEWB - The crypto market's dirty little secret on: February 15, 2020, 06:28:19 PM

I am trying to create an account here, the link that this team suggested at the first page of this thread: https://coins.newbium.com/post/16650-announcement-making-newb-market-more-simple
but is not working to create new accounts.   Is there any other option to finish doing the swap process? and also when is the deadline for the swap?

New user signup is now back online.

I sent my info for swap via DM 5 days ago at the web chat's newbiumnew user, waiting instructions for swap...

329  Economy / Speculation / Re: One satoshi for $1 dollar will occur someday on: February 14, 2020, 12:52:47 AM
I'm sorry, even I, a very opmistic person about BTC and the blockchain in general, can't believe in such price
There's a lot os scenarios of probability, but to achieve this price per satoshi, a BTC have to hit 100 millions dollars, yes a single coin of BTC
Can you explain how can we have this money on criptos?

One chance is if people will use only bitcoin, and we know that there are many altcoins, that probably won't happen.

The other chance is because bitcoin has scarcity and the world's population is way bigger than that 21 million bitcoins.

330  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 14, 2020, 12:49:44 AM
Banks in Germany started to allow people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies this January 2020. I think other countries will do the same soon, Japan might be another country with such services. In the beginning, someone has to start something so others can follow suit.

What are the other countries where anyone legally can buy/sell cryptos at commercial centralized
in asia specifically in Philippines there are Banks with Cryptocurrency ATM's in which you can Purchase numbers of crypto.

but Banks that Buying and Selling Crypto?that would be cool to see, imagine they are offering safe service(of course without scams like online )and this is one good moves from Government of Germany as they are one of the adopters of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies like Japan and other countries.
well, I think a lot of bitcoin atm has been circulating so that many people will find it easier to make cryptocurrency withdrawals but it is unfortunate that currently there are still few who can accept payments using bitcoin and they are still unsure of bitcoin sellers because some countries are still concerned about regulations regarding the use of bitcoin.
Crypto in the past was a potential threat to the government, although the perspective from the government was better with it but the restraint is obvious, so a country that allows banks to buy and sell crypto, I would feel a lot of doubt here if I were a resident of that country. Besides, we should keep in mind that many topics discuss the bank and government's permission to trade crypto but over time, that information seems to be removed, it is best to use trusted exchanges to buy and sell crypto

Keeping buying or trading cryptos at centralized exchanges won't help that much to bring 100% crypto tx and make finance totally decentralized, but in the beginning has to be in this way, maybe in the future, there will be more people using only decentralized exchanges.

331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: February 13, 2020, 11:21:59 PM
How will the merchants be able to identify if a customer has been vaxxed or not, can they be tattooed on forehead with 5G compatible RFID ink?

https://news.mit.edu/2019/storing-vaccine-history-skin-1218

Business opportunity:  Fake 'I am vaxxed' tattoo.

Could also just pay off the med staff to squirt the vaccine in the sink and get the tattoo.

I like the way the guys do it in Africa:  Machete the whole U.N./Gates funded medical team sent out into the jungle.  Unfortunately the team almost certainly has no idea what is going on with these things and are sort of like clueless pawns to a degree, but that's also sort of their own fault for not researching.

I agree with you, perhaps this coronavirus thing is just another of many business opportunities that already have been in society before. As we know a big percentage of medicines (drugs) basically created to profit and make a lot of money, not really bringing complete cures but in many cases making people's condition even worst!

The best thing is to stay away from drugs (medicines) and keep the immune system strong with all the things available for it. And a good source of information is the key factor here, not the mainstream media, which is not reliable.

332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: whats the point of preserving nations? success doesnt come out of it. on: February 13, 2020, 11:00:53 PM
I think preserving nations only help corporations, big businesses, people with big desires of control. A lot of documentaries are showing that the more divisions the better for centralized organizations.

333  Other / Politics & Society / Printing money out of thin air is a big problem for our current society. on: February 13, 2020, 10:56:10 PM
What does everyone here and out of this forum should be doing every day as little tasks from their own comfort zone, in order to stop this big problem?

I know that if people start speaking up, asking questions, asking for transparency to their social/public workers, meaning asking, verifying and controlling the people getting paid (governments) to do a job for citizens who pay them, then things can change quickly for the best interest of the people and society.

For sure if society demands governments to stop printing new FIAT money as they keep doing these days, soon society will be forced to use cryptocurrencies instead of FIAT money. We know FIAT money is not that fair if we compare it to cryptocurrencies. And FIAT money is doing a lot of harm to the global economy, keeping people in slavery.

What would be your suggestions, actions, guides, proposals?
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: One satoshi for $1 dollar will occur someday on: February 13, 2020, 03:06:57 AM
1BTC = 100,000,000 satoshis

It will be $100,000,000 = 1BTC

It is gotta be a long journey until we will see that time happens.

If this happen John Mcafee will be so proud that it reaches 1 million dollar per Bitcoin but I doubt John Mcafee will ever to see this price happen or even people of this generation, the most that I can see of Bitcoin Price in my lifetime could be $200 k but it could happen 30 to 40  years from now.
He is going to be proud? You probably aren't updated with the recently news. He used to support bitcoin back then and made an absurd bet. But lately he backed off and took a negative stance against bitcoin. He started calling bitcoin a shitcoin. He now considers bitcoin as a coin with ancient technology and believes that there are other tons of alt coins that can dominate the market and are going to be considered a true crypto coin.

If that is the case, he is right bitcoin doesn't have extra features like PoS, Smart contracts yet, or any additional features like privacy or something that people can use every day other than being a store of value and transfer.

But with the time that can change, there are a lot of developers working to bring to bitcoin those and more features, like RSK with smart contracts running on the bitcoin blockchain.

This META section is ALREADY the board for suggestions and proposals. But then, for being 4 years here in forum, haven't you noticed most suggestions are entertained in this section?

OK lets break down your suggestions:

You are right, I haven't been so active in many sections here in the last year, so that is why I almost forgot about this meta section. Not sure how the proposals are handled, if it is via community votes or by the staff choosing them according to which ones get their attention.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Airdrop? on: February 12, 2020, 07:39:10 PM
In some cases you get free coins, in other cases, you have to spend time promoting their coins which might have or no value in the future. Airdrop is when a project is trying to find a new audience interested in their project, so new members can receive coins via airdrops (distribution) or do little tasks for that.

339  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2020, 07:07:22 PM
China is one of the foremost advanced countries where the amount of Bitcoin users is high but China can never control Bitcoin China is the largest investor in bitcoin. Bitcoin may be a digital currency a rustic can never operate its own. Bitcoin does the mining work together and therefore the government cannot control it.

China has a good economy compared with other countries like USA, and bitcoin in China will help them to keep growing economically, cryptos will keep them out of poverty, Chinese people like gambling but also they are smart about how to generate money!
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥[BOUNTY][AoSpooling/RealKOYN][$225,000]🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀 on: February 12, 2020, 07:03:46 PM
Good luck to all these people supporting this project, after many projects I did in the past all I can say to you guys is to be careful which bounties you choose, many of them are not serious, hopefully, this one it is.

Instead of wasting time with bounties it is better to support already solid projects, scam-free, and with solutions to social problems.
