321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 01, 2020, 11:52:21 AM
People are going to buy a ticket because of, one the value of the prize he can always resell it at a much lower price or make a lottery out of it, or create a partnership with an airplane, and two he will go down in history as the first winner of a presidential airplane, anyway I looked at it he is a winner if I am from Mexico I'll definitely going to buy a ticket.

Yes If I will buy the ticket and won the prize, I will sell it in lower the price it could be, any thing could have a depreciation value, the year since it has been using and been sold , also I would sell it in airlines or maybe I would make it as a high class resto inside of it.

Are you even reading the article?
It is said there that the government will be giving 1 year maintenance for the presidential plane so whether you use it or not, it will be taken care of. You should also not talk about this in advance since you are not sure if you are winning and the government of Mexico is still thinking about the lottery.

I do agree with this, everyone is being interested in buying that lottery ticket , I may say that it is not yet probable to win, there is a less than 1% winning rate in that particular raffle due to many people who will buy the ticket, and still we want to grab that chance, it only cost 25$ for a million of dollars in return !, investing 25$ is not as huge when yo may win the million or billion dollar plane with maintenance and came from the president, but the problem is, does the president still wants to sell that plane?
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: February 01, 2020, 09:32:09 AM
If you operate your casino without license as it might be in terms of cryptos where the government can't track the transactions to imply you to get licensed but you would not get much response for such a casino. People needs to be secured about the games they play and hence each gambler including me would choose a platform which is licensed and probably fair.
You can consult your CA to get some more legal information about launching a casino in your region. You would also need to set-up a office space where you could store the credentials and you could run the platform from that place. You would need to be centralized if you wish to get licensed and for it you would need to show each and every transaction/bet to the authorized parties in order to get you a license.

Yes ! in every country there will be a law that regulate the gambling in each country, in every business that you will make, you need to apply all the necessary documents so that it would not be a hassle soon,if the government notice your business, once you establish it. Also, players don't want to play in an illegal casino , they might go to jail or lose their fund once the government raids your office where you develop the website.

Don't be complacent. Don't run an online casino without permits, even you are running on cryptocurrencies. Seek advice from local personalities available that are knowledgeable of the risks and pre-requisites of running one in your local state. Also, don't rush things, and make testings to make sure your casino won't be abused and bankrupted by some strategies.

Yes! especially that the mode of payment is crypto in which not all the government are aware and not all of the local governments approves that and they know how does it works, papers must be submitted.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 01, 2020, 08:30:49 AM
Lately, I've been gambling a bit too much again and it's impossible to add limits to most crypto gambling websites.
Heck, I've found it to be impossible to just remove your account, without contacting support.

I think it should be mandatory, or at least standard, to include easy ways to prevent members from gambling.
In my country (Belgium), legal gambling websites are required to have player-imposed limits, plus general limits on their websites.
I wish crypto-based gambling websites would do the same.

Anyway, I've just sent an e-mail to the one casino I was still playing on, to close down my account. I hope they'll do that without any issue.
But still, I wish they would just add a function to do it by yourself, or add some self-control functionality.

I.e. let people exclude themselves for X amount of time
You need to have a self descipline , because if you don't you will be having a big losses and it could cause you a lot of trouble, you need to do that in order for you to protect yourself as well, there could be an  app that you may use, I don't think if it will useful but Promodoro app is used for studying, you should try that as well, I am using it for me to get a rest after a game for me to clear my mind and play again.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fish arcade on: January 31, 2020, 09:42:35 PM
A fish arcade is really popular in every country all over the world that a lot of adults spend a lot of money just to play and buy tokens in arcades, but i don't think no one had invented a fish arcade with bitcoin and cryptocurrency because most gambling game that are created that you can used your crypto are table card games, slots, dice, and sportsbet.
Here in us the  most common people playing it is adults, they spending almost 100 of dollars in a single game, then they will convert it in tokens, also they will spend hours of playing till they can get their target tokens I think. If it will be develop and we can use crypto  instead of money, I think it could be very popular and it can catches the attention of fish arcade player.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 31, 2020, 02:58:01 AM
Sometimes.. maybe once or twice a month.  I gamble but not so often, because as you know I gamble only as entertainment..  Cheesy
It is good to know that you have limitations in gambling, you know that it is not all about how we will win in order for us to have many money but rather a source of entertainment , gambling is not addictions not unless we are not responsible enough in our actions and we lose too much because of being greedy, I gamble also but I put myself a limit in everything so that I can manage my fund.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 09:23:51 PM
I only gamble on sports betting especially during NBA season and Dota tournaments. I don't like playing on casinos like roulettes, cards, slots, etc. as I feel it's just a waste of money.
It takes one in a million to win on those types of games and often addicting as I see to people playing it.
I only play those together with my friends or relatives.
It seems that you are rarely gamble. There is not wrong with that, you just want to play only with those game that you are interested and doing as well, casinos is not your ideal nor your game. I also gamble in mobile legends tournament, as well boxing especially when it is Pacquiao, and sometimes I gamble in an online casino of I have time.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 29, 2020, 04:48:15 PM
Controlling emotions and imagination is not easy in gambling, I once imagined that if I succeeded in the jackpot then I would buy a car, motorcycle or other. This makes me even more excited to gamble and the negative side effects that arise when I cant control it are the more money I spend on betting without even realizing it.
Yeah, I think everyone of us already do that thing , we believe that when we gambled, we will become rich and our financial status would be stable, but are not aware in the fact that time that when we gamble we need to take the risk and we cannot avoid losing money , the only thing we can do is to have a proper money management do not rely your status or goal in gambling.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 29, 2020, 11:37:51 AM

The experience does matter a lot since they are playing in different arena and the UFC last for only several round while the boxing last for 12 rounds and this will differ to the stamina of both superstars.

But this fight will provably gain some hype since McGregor is so famous in US together with Pacman and for sure many people will watch that fight since they want to see how Mcgregor will beat Pacquiao and how Pacquiao will knockout McGregor.
Agreed, the more they experienced they have, the higher the chances that they can easily read the strategy of their opponent. Their endurance is impressive as well, I valued more the experience when I am choosing the player that I am betting, but also I am considering their age, when people are getting older their strength might be lessen, but let us see who will win this fight.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: January 29, 2020, 07:10:00 AM
1million
10 million
100 million
you'll still be miserable, if you don't find meaning in your life.
the difference is being miserable on a wooden chair or a goldendiamond chair.
but still it's more important to think about this question:
what are you doing with your life?

Do not depend on gambling, you have a life outside the game, take gambling as one of your enjoyment in life, not your life, there is no equivalent money that can stop a gambler I am saying this again. A person who needed to stop gamble is those who are addicted, they needed to be rehabilitated.

It will not a big lost if you will only try to buy one ticket a day.
Morelikely you will bet more because you already experience to win, but you need to slow down if you dont want to lose the money you already win 1 times a day is enough after winnings, dont make it more complicated.

Yes, playing lottery is not addiction, aiming to win the jackpot is quite normal, but betting everyday even your budget for your daily expenses such as food and left nothing in your pocket is addiction. we should be grateful and contented, nothing will stop us if we play gambling in moderation.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 29, 2020, 03:56:36 AM
Few days ago I decided to utilize some fraction of bitcoin just sitting in my trading wallet to try profiting from the market. Although I may profit when the profits was calculated in dollars but unknowingly I lost massively in Satoshi value. That means assuming I just kept hold of my coins I would had made almost the same value I made with the coins i bought. Many traders haven't realized this yet but just get carried away with the US value of their trades without realizing they lost some satosh in the process.  When training, what are you mostly concerned about, to gain more profit in bitcoin or gain more in usd dollar without minding if you lost some Satoshi value?.
It depends on the pair that I am using, most of the time, I am using bitcoin/xrp pair, I dont want to lose any satoshis , because a single satoshi can build 1 bitcoin, it is not literally 1sats I mean , I am careful in every trade not to lose too much, especially now that bitcoin grows higher and higher I woud not definitely lose anything, I want to trade it whole without losing any of it.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought Bitcoin in late 2017? Still recovering or fully recovered? on: January 28, 2020, 08:45:14 PM
I am among those who bought when bitcoin prices reached ATH at the end of 2017, and I am still recovering to cover losses
I've experienced. And until now I haven't fully recovered. Even in 2019 I was frustrated because the market was still in bearish
market, it's the hardest moment to make a profit. But in 2020 the market has shown a positive trend, this makes me excited again
chasing profits to recover from losses in 2017. Hopefully all those who experience the same thing as me are not desperate to fight
to cover losses suffered when buying bitcoin at the peak price.
I also bought some coin last 2017, it is not bitcoin but an altcoin, and now? It turns out a shitcoin. It becomes a design in my wallet and also a remembrance of my mistake that I did not be able to sell it when the price of it is good and still has a good volume. I did not see any improvement of it this days and still it has a low volume and orders.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Bull Run is Here! on: January 28, 2020, 05:45:19 PM
Today, Bitcoin has reached more than 9,000 U.S. dollars, which is good news. As the halving is coming, I think the price will change accordingly, which will attract more people to join the cryptocurrency market. At the same time, I hope the government will introduce more laws and regulations to plan the market. , It is conducive to market normalization, and it is also conducive for newcomers to enter the market.
I have seen some news that chinese are having trouble in spending their money to buy some goods and to transfer it to anyone, since they do not want physical contact that is why I believe it really affects bitcoin, that is why it pumps to @9000 I hope that it will continue and alts will go pump too like what is happening to bitcoin.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: January 28, 2020, 02:05:06 PM
Yep, sure that’s most bitcoiners dream, but to be brutally honest I don’t believe these things you have said here are really going to happen, so it doesn’t make any sense at all. The government are not going to allow Bitcoin without any regulation, how do you even expect that to happen?

So, you think the government would just let be doing whatever they want and use money however they want without the government checking what it is being used for and where it’s going to? Dude, that can’t ever happen. If it was possible to happen, sure I would like that, but it will only happen in your dreams.
Agreed, they will never do that, not unless bitcoin community will agree with the terms and conditions that the government might create, and if we will accept a higher taxes that they will give and will cut in every transactions that we will made. We  all want bitcoin to go internationally and be accepted all over the world. I hope that it could be too, without any problems.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: January 28, 2020, 11:56:57 AM
I’ve got a pet shop and I wanted to accept bitcoin and alt coins then I was reading about becoming a bitcoin exchange ... is this possible? I understand it’s worth goes up and down.
The only thing that will be a problem is the price of bitcoin that it is always unstable or its volatility, better to have a list of price in USD then you will show the daily rates in your shop, just like what they are doing in some gasoline stations, so that your clients will be updated and will not ask any questions, also it is okay if you will put some of your products online so that you will reach more people outside of your vicinity.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 27, 2020, 10:32:55 PM

Bitcoin can be the future bank all over the world. It might be similar value of World Bank.

Now a days there are so many big transactions are done with crypto currency. If people don’t want to tell globally about their transactions they may use crypto in big number of amount in a single transaction, and nobody else can recognize that why and what they do transfer.

If there any kind of illegal activities involved in that transaction then if there is bitcoin bank exist over there then some kind of transactions may be stop by the bank.

In that case all the government make bitcoin bank in future, they will ask for all account’s details and the person who access the account. If all holders gives them details then it will be it safe or not?
It is not neccessary at all to have that bank because if we will be having it, I am expecting that goverment will regulate us , a lot of files are needed to be done and to be pass , every move that we will be doing will need their approval, there are some atm machines, I think it is enough  , a private company without government rule is good.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 27, 2020, 09:08:09 PM
It is likely to exceed this year's ath. But if we are talking about 2018 ath, I cannot say the correct answer. This is 9x of the current price, the second strongest coin to achieve this price needs major improvements. Do not trade with such dreams. Always prepare yourself for the worst, then you are psychologically ready for any situation.
If we will compare the current price in 1month, we will see that it shows an upward pattern that creates eth to pump from @0175 to @0195 now based on what I am seeing in binance chart. Let us wait for more pattern if it will be go to an ATH once again or it could be just a whales' manipulation after all, again we need to invest what we are afford to lose.
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for Beginners? on: January 27, 2020, 03:39:43 PM
Lot of replies here will be buy low sell high LOL,

I will give my honest advice for you. If you want to start trading, start with a small amount of money, experience is the number one teacher in trading, don't listen to anyone! develop your own skill and strategy in trading considering that every individual have different approach to it. As time passes by, make your capital bigger as long as you are ready for it. Make sure you are satisfied with your skill and strategy so that the risk for every trade that you will make will be lessen.

Trading is war of strategy and mind, don't be greedy, set your goals straight! as long as you are following what you want trading will be good to you. If you lose don't stop there's a time in every trader or in majority of the trader that they became broke because of trading. If that scenario happen to you, don't stop! and remember your goals. Trade everyday and make it your passion. Trading is a good source of income as long you know what you are doing.
Agree with you mate, we all started with no knowledge about trading, a beginner must know that we should invest only the amount that we can afford to lose or invest with a small amount only before giving all your bet, for you to be sure that you would not lose everything, also always make a research first before investing especially when that coin is new.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: January 27, 2020, 01:46:26 PM
Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.
Not really, because we need an assurance that it could be a legit campaign and a project that can be transparent in all of their activities especially in terms on what will they gonna do to their funds. It could be so hard to trust nowadays, even well known managers have been scammed by a certain company , they also need to show their valid ID if needed.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: January 27, 2020, 12:04:39 PM
Massive adoption across the world in one of my dream for Bitcoin and I know that it is commonly wish of everyone here in this community yet I think my second wish will be fulfilled if this massive adoption will be attained btw, my second wish for Bitcoin is for its price to grow and set its new record of all-time high. However, it seems my first wish is way too far to be fulfilled due to the fact that there are still some places who are completely against from it.
Me as well, it could make bitcoin market very active and also, whales can hardly manipulate the market. I want to purchase any good using my bitcoin without converting , or it will become hassle for me, so I hope that massive adaptation will be done, but I want the anonymously trait of bitcoin will stay the same so that we can transact without being regulated by the government and without a large taxes.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors? on: January 27, 2020, 09:59:20 AM
Hi Everyone!

I was recently asked the question "what are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors?" This led me to take some time to investigate what assets were the most popular on our portfolio management application. After evaluating tens of thousands of portfolios, we published this brief study.

The Cryptocurrencies People are Actually Holding

I'd love for you to give it a read and let me know if you were surprised by any of the assets that were popular.

I can't wait to discuss!
Many people are now investing in BNB, XRP, ETH and most especially the favourite of all, which is bitcoin. But in order for us not to regret what will happen, although this coin are top in the cryptomarket, still everyone , even a beginner one should now what and how does the market flows, because it can be beneficial for everyone and it could be helpful soon when the market goes bear or goes bull run.
