The experience does matter a lot since they are playing in different arena and the UFC last for only several round while the boxing last for 12 rounds and this will differ to the stamina of both superstars.

But this fight will provably gain some hype since McGregor is so famous in US together with Pacman and for sure many people will watch that fight since they want to see how Mcgregor will beat Pacquiao and how Pacquiao will knockout McGregor.
Agreed, the more they experienced they have, the higher the chances that they can easily read the strategy of their opponent. Their endurance is impressive as well, I valued more the experience when I am choosing the player that I am betting, but also I am considering their age, when people are getting older their strength might be lessen, but let us see who will win this fight.

Experience must come to play here because, the two have different background training, different area of specialization, so, without experience it would be disastrous to some extent.
Pacman could apply his experience since this is a boxing fight but Conor, I don't know how he will apply his little experience.
AFAIR, I only seen Conor fight against one boxer which is Mayweather.

We all know this two stars, Conor McGregor experience is little compare to that of his opponent Manny Pacquiao.

Even at the phase of Manny Pacquiao acceptance, it won't still bring hype to the table, bet you on this.

We will probably gonna see that, market people would be useless if they can't hype this possible fight.

Being a Senator is still Manny's priority, so we will have to wait and see.

Exactly, he needs to focus on his job now because he might run for President soon, who knows, he all have the money to do that.
And if he will take the fight against Conor, that would be an additional for his funds in case he really plan to run in a higher position in the future.

Right, to be honest I think that Manny Pacquaio is really doing good as Senator of the Philippines so I won't be surprised that people are going to clamour for him to run for a higher position - the Presidency.

Well for sure the Conor fight will bring him more money and all that stuff and yeah, running for a President needs a lot of funds and you really need to have a deep pocket. So the possibility of him and Conor facing each other are great, its just a matter of schedule I guess.
Well, I Googeled a bit after your words and found out about all of those good things that Manny does to Philippines and people of the country. I do not doubt he is an idol there and has pretty big chances to win the election in 2022 year.
I suppose the match is going to be a top event of his boxing career, coz he will not be able to box atertaking position of the president.
The match is going to be between two big figures from different side of the world. Both of them helps poor people in their home towns and all country, so it's like two sides of a gold coin. Who knows who will win, but I bet on McGregor.

That depends on him, he might want to make a history being a boxing president, but maybe that time if it will be granted, it should only good for exhibition fights.

I am not sure with Conor but I know Pacman has been helping the poor ever since he became a champion and a politician.

Conor needs to be reminded that those boxers he is asking to face him took years, even decades, to come up with those forms and abilities. He cannot just jump fences and be immediately in their similar forms.

Its all about money, I will not be surprise if connor place a bet of manny on their own fight. One thing is for sure connor will experience his greatest defeat if he decided to fight toe to toe again manny. His only chance to finish all 12 rounds if he run and duck during the match

I've been agreeing on this, that this fight is just all about money, possibly entertainment as well, but not really about sports. I laughed at the possibility that you raised that Conor might even be betting on Manny Pacquiao. That's very possible though.

Even if Conor will not fight toe to toe against Manny and just decide to jab and run, he is not going to finish all 12 rounds. He is used to saving air for the maximum of 5 rounds only.
He wont last that much for sure when we do talk about stamina and i do also laugh on that thing that Conor would surely bet into his opponent because he know that he wont have any chance.  Cool

What would be his situation if he would able to catch up those solid and fast punches? lol

It is either he will clinch, or he will raise his two hands in defense, or throw some haymaker to make some distance, or run away. If he won't be able to do any of these, the referee will surely stop the fight. And declare the opponent as the winner. And what else? He would also probably cry that the fight should not have been stopped because he is not hurt and KOed.

If he will fight Manny Pacquiao he will just end up losing, but still, I am expecting a great fight between them.
If we pay for the ticket or the PPV, then it's just right to expect a great fight.

Not being bias, but Mcgregor will only look like a kid facing a legend.
This is going to happen, it's not being bias, it's telling the truth, I hope that Manny would knock him out so he will stop challenging boxing superstars.
well yeah, thats a good point since mayweather did not Knocked him down so if Manny do the Honor then maybe Conor will leave the chance of beatign a professional boxers and will focus on his Mix martial arts sport.
i don't want to be rude but his fighting skills is not for the 4 sided ring of boxing instead he is for octagon when he can use both hands and feet to depeat opponents

If Conor McGregor has a smart team management they will look for a Nate Diaz trilogy rather than looking for a rematch against the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov and if he really wants to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov then that should be his last fight in MMA and then retire and go to the boxing ring and then try to win another belt in boxing as he said about his plan when he returned against Donald Cerrone and since there are many divisions in boxing i think he can win a belt in boxing but fighting against veteran boxing legends is a hard task.

Having a cross-over fight between two different forms of sport is a good thing to watch. But, honestly, I don't see any point on having an MMA fighter fight a boxer, this two-sport is of different form and discipline. Mcgregor has the edge on MMA fight and the same goes for Pacquiao when it comes to boxing. Each has their edge over the other if they are just doing this for the show and to entertain people it will be surely make a hit, but it will not do them any good aside from money and publicity.

Speaking of Bob Arum:

Conor McGregor's Manager: Bob Arum is a Believer Now as Well

Quote
“[McGregor is] serious about boxing,” Attar told MMA Fighting. “He said it. That’s something that I can tell you, if he says something he has interest in, it’s likely going to happen.”

“We definitely monitor everything. We monitor not only fan engagement and interest from the public, but then you look at who’s out there talking what. Because it could be where we have a few different options to weigh and decide on. At the end of the day, I saw Floyd, I saw Manny and now Bob Arum, who at one point said, ‘It’s not a smart idea to crossover.’ He’s a believer now as well.

“It’s going to be busy, but we welcome that. We’re super excited for it. I think we’re all on the same page when it comes to ambition and goals, and so that’s really fun to see when your entire team is in sync. I think we all welcome that type of work load. We don’t look at it as pressure. We look at it as opportunity.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/conor-mcgregor-manager-bob-arum-believer-now-well--146284

Well Conor already open the door when he fought Floyd and it seems with his recent win against Cerrone, more opportunities are coming. Names like Manny Pacquaio and then Terence Crawford. We might be surprised if either of the fights are going to be made this 2020, specially when there is tons of money in the table for both sides here.

fighting in the same discipline is already proven fun by the people usually watching it even in Vegas or in their home, but excitement comes along when two different sport clash together to deliver a whole new set of fun that people could watch.

This is just my theory but if this happens, it could drive the market to go crazy over watching this fight to happen. Gamblers will really prepare to choose the best between Pacquiao and McGregor. Thus, will drive huge demand to gambling platforms that will facilitate the gambling with regard to this game.

Indeed it is two different parts.
The same happened when McGregor faced Mayweather and we pretty saw the difference between an MMA fighter and a Boxer.
But, it is entertaining because they are the best of the best so it is all about the show, not about the fighting part.

I don't even think McGregor could beat a top 50 boxing opponent, let alone two individuals that can claim to potential be the current pound for pound kings.

I'd like to see McGregor face someone in the top 50 first (a solid up and comer), if he managed to beat them, then he should progress to a top 10 and if he somehow wins, then fight those at the top like Pacquiao and Crawford.

Right now, it's just an obvious stomp, but McGregor's big mouth and UFC fame will probably land him the fights.

^ As I can see, McGregor's invitation is formal and respectful. There is a least chance Pacquaio's side would grab the invitation for that match. However, I would be more than happy if McGregor and Manny Pacquaio would have a rematch against Floyd Mayweather. Both of them deserve to win against Floyd Mayweather. And if they will ever win, the crowd would be satisfied.
I think Manny Pacquaio is better than that. He wouldn't accept the match just because McGregor lost against Floyd Mayweather. But probably if the prize is right, Pacquaio wouldn't hesitate to do grab the match and go back to the ring with McGregor. Nevertheless, McGregor and Pacquaio are deserving champions and really the sports guys. Not Floy Mayweather.

Manny Pac isn't for people's satisfaction, he does boxing for the country and his countrymen. He did fight Mayweather not because the people wanted it but floyd's record is saying it but unfortunately for Manny Pac he didn't able to win it.

Again, Manny isn't fighting for the money,  Manny Already has it. Not what I see from McGregor whom I think is just running Pacquiao for the money but dealing with boxing game isn't just like the UFC. I'm not really into McGregor's style of fighting although I love UFC than boxing, coz McGregor was not trained to endure for 12 rounds on which you can clearly saw him back on his fight with Floyd. However, If this fight will be in real life, even if Pacquiao is at 42 I'd still be looking forward him on winning against his opp.

Again, Manny isn't fighting for the money,  Manny Already has it.
Then why didn't he retired already in boxing?
Manny has a lot of money but he still has the opportunity to make money, and we know his opportunity now very short due to his age, if Mayweather who are already rich and probably richer than Manny take exhibition fights for money, I don't think Manny would easily resist any offer.

Exactly, if it wasn't for money, Manny had already retired at his age now, he is fighting because he know he can still make money and he is still capable, that two things should go together. The world of boxing is a a world of entertainment, we don't have to listen on what people are saying because everyone has a price.

Win or lose there's still money that will flow. Manny is one of those well known from this industry so promotions will do their best to sell his name
including this potential fights, if money will talk this will materialized we all know that. This is not a game for pride but the profitable side of this
venue. Boxing world have a huge fans and gamblers who are willing to gamble and support this fight.

Take a look.

A fight against Conor McGregor could generate $250 million and be Manny Pacquiao's retirement party, according to an expert

Why would Manny pass on this when he can retire getting at least $100 million.
