321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last 2017/18 Bull Market compared to Current One on: January 28, 2021, 05:46:35 PM
This bull market is really not going to be the same as before. The bears are likely to be quite active.
Both the bullish and the bearish will never be the same though some people consider the cryptocurrency market to be a replicate market which they actually misapprehend that the market did not by any chance replicate the previous market trend but replicate the previous season (after bullish, correction).
Having said that, the bearish need tobe active sometime before it will be bullish again
322  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 27, 2021, 11:08:45 PM
Yes, it does have an influence on the price.... because people follow the celebrities comments like sheep!

To me, such behavior is personally very strange because I don’t care what EM thinks about anything, regardless of being at least publicly the richest person in the world. Those people who follow him aren’t just sheep, they’re very naive sheep who don’t realize that EM is actually making fun of them all the time. If anyone thinks this is not the case let them visit his Twitter profile, and they will see how EM communicates with his followers. Some are obviously amused by this, but EM is just another multi-billionaire who wants to become immortal by doing something that no one else has done before. Who knows, maybe he'll be one of the first to go to Mars🚀

Yes, Elon Musk could be using his social media handle or Twitter handle to make jokes. Because, I know him to be a first Principle Thinker, which made him to be able to build SpaceX rockets.

Deductively, Elon is smarter than the content of most of his tweets
Elon Musk action through meme shouldn't surprise us cause he has once claim to be dogecoin logically he holds a huge part of the dogecoin and if he doesn't a negative message about Bitcoin a lot of cryptocurrency investors won't dare to invest in Dogecoin.
Having said that, Elon shouldn't be considered as principle thinker just Satoshi was said not to be that brilliant cause he files together every what some people thought
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 27, 2021, 10:28:57 PM
Last year, Ripple (XRP) price showed a great pump but as the news of SEC file a lawsuit, XRP price crash to $0.19. But people says XRP, is a currency that shouldn’t be subject to securities laws.
XRP is a coin that will be subject to security laws.
1) It a centralized coin and any government organisation can intervene in the activities or problems that involved XRP legal issues.
2) Every crypto company that hosts an initial offering but broke the US SEC rules and regulations is subject to security law which is what the XRP team did when they scammed US investors through the initial offering.

What do you think will happen to XRP price for this year? will it recover or will it dump more?
The Japanese are the major holder o XRP but I still believe the price of the coin will be dump throughout this current bullish market.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: January 26, 2021, 10:42:33 PM
With the recent launch of the Covid 19 vaccines, will it affect bitcoin,
The COVID19 vaccine creation will help the price of the Bitcoin market but it will be a positive impact cause some investors who idle will resume back to work.

I assume that the Covid 19 vaccine will make the economy stabilize again, will this also affect bitcoin?  will bitcoin weaken or vice versa?
The COVID19 vaccine won't help in making the economy stable but it will help to build an increase in the real world trading, investors confidence, and other social activities.
325  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase IPO isn't good for Bitcoin investors and here is why🧐 on: January 26, 2021, 10:14:16 PM
Coinbase IPO will run according to the US SEC rules and regulations because the centralization features were the top priority of coinbase from the beginning but I don't see their IPO making decentralized coin to end up die cause the exchange only implement a hard rule on their users and that's not meant there IPO to bad to the Bitcoin investors. However, the exchange is not good for every individual whose KYC is a no go area for him.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: January 25, 2021, 10:25:05 PM
If you afraid of losing money in the new projects then don't invest. Most of the new projects will turn to scam it is really risky to invest in the new projects. You better pick in the top coins,
New crypto project are highly risk investment but invest in top coins without reasonable research is just like invest in new project cause alot of people have invested in Bitcoin which is the number 1 crypto and later make lost in the end due lack of knowledge and not making research about the market before invest.

it would be a safe investment if you hold your altcoins for long term just like ethereum. I recommend you to invest in ethereum because I believe the price of eth will increase more.
Ethereum is a safe investment but if invest in at the wrong time it wont provide better result.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 09:42:37 PM
Hi Everyone, I have a dilemma since I am holding an wholesome portion of bitcoin. With all the speculation going on in the market I don't know whether to sell or hold on my bitcoin. I've been wanting for more than a week to see if bitcoin's price improves, but it is only falling more and more.
The reason why the price of market keep falling is because we are currently in the market correction season and ought to have sell some part of your holding for Stablecoin during the $40K price range which you may now use now to buyback to maximize your holding.
Having said that, you can sell now and you may not cause the choice if yours but dont sell at lost price.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.
Most analyst site etc spread fud information and it will be good if you improve your knowledge about crypto investment so you wont be mislead.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?
As I said earlier, it not good to sell at lost price cause the market is still doing good and if the selling price is nor lesser than your buying price, you can sell 45% or less.

There is also another reason. A promising stock just opened up. So should I sell my bitcoins and but the new stock that I'm interested in?

Viketo Sumi (Armani123)
No stock can give you the better profit Bitcoin will give you.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take BITCOIN profit without selling? on: January 25, 2021, 07:59:01 PM
First of all, you need to be cautious of the videos you watch on Youtube cause some videos are used to send false information whilst some are used to scam people through ROI investment.
Having said that, the only way I think you can increase your Bitcoin profit without selling your coin is by offering loan service on an exchange which some exchange called investment of BTC on their bankroll and any information apart from all what I said is totally a scam.

There are a lot of things that can be used by scammers especially if it shows how to grow your bitcoin investment.

They will say that trading is the key, they will make you become eager to earn for more profit and at the end of the day, they will ask you to send them your money first before they help you.
Most of the Youtubers and article writers express hype which will make their videos gain more viewers than spreading genuine information which will help newbies and also help cryptocurrency to mainstream. I dont know why newbies also love to choose the easy/fast way which llead to their doom.

Don't trust those videos that you are watching, feed yourself with facts, with knowledges, and with information that will help you in trading and making your bitcoin grow.
I hope they will listen cause despite several warnings they still choose the wrong path.
In the meantime, Binance academy have some genuine information to help the newbies

329  Economy / Gambling / Re: New gambling site on: January 25, 2021, 02:07:15 PM
snip...
Create your announcement thread and brief about the games and all available features. That will give more visibility to your platform. Having an announcement thread makes your gambling site more trusted. There are service providers who can help you in creating announcement thread. You can find them on the services section.
We don't need to ask them or OP to do it because, in the first place, they are not serious about their site. The presentation never gives an interest to the people but instead, it looks scarier and scam ends. They are not yet started but base on what they do here, it is all in question and people live the doubt, not curiosity.
I agreed the presentation of the site with its template etc make people including myself feel curious about the site but he make the fair suggestion to give the OP and the site team a benefit of doubt in other not to quickly judge their service and if they don't make every correction about the things people complained that mean our impression was right from the get go.
But people need to halt from using the site in the meantime
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 24, 2021, 09:52:40 PM
I was surprised when I first saw the odds and the bet made available already.
IMO, I think Anthony Joshua is underrated in the odds provided by the bookers may be because of his new fighting style ever since he learns from his loss to Ruiz or there's something more to it

In fact, this is nothing new - he is not a favorite and the skew of the odds is always in favor of the favorite. If you think that the bookmakers made a mistake in setting the odds, then it makes sense to bet on AJ. Personally, in my opinion, the bookmakers were not mistaken, the usual odds in the favorite-challenger pair.
Yes, there is no surprising from the odds makers, Anthony Joshua should be the underdog in this fight. They are basing the odds based on their last fight, so obviously, Fury coming from a big and impressive win against Wilder. While AJ was extended by Ruiz in their rematch, although he won it.

And if you read the comments of boxing fans and gamblers here, they favor Fury.
I know there is no need to be surprised the odds was in favor of Fury but I was surprised the was already set with the fight date stated already while all the required paper is not signed, venue not choose etc. And the odds difference to be too much.
I do read the comments of boxing fans on here but not everyone favors Fury which I am among.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 24, 2021, 09:16:09 PM
I know it's stupid, I know the chance of hitting a certain number is always the same, whether it was last hit 10 seconds or 10 years ago, and yet, sometimes, when I play Roulette I keep betting on the same number waiting for it to pop up eventually. Sometimes it does, and other times it doesn't even after 150+ rolls, but I'd rather stop the game than change the number after 150 consecutive fails in a row. Smiley
To be sincere, it not stupid. I have seen a friend that does this every time he plays lotto (though it, not the gambling I like) and he has won on several occasions and also lost on several occasions.
It a risk way of gambling but not risky if the person can afford to lose the money cause it does wonder sometimes.

If you mean that with this strategy and high enough bankroll one can beat the house, I disagree with you.

No one can beat the house except if it has the support of the gambling site team but what I was saying is that betting on the same number is risky cause it like saving money on the gambling site bankroll every day for when the moment of winning through those numbers arrive it usually come big just like what we see in the woman that won $60 Million.
You shouldn't think that betting on lottery is just like on saving up money on a bank because it is never to be like on that way.
I agreed but gambler need to have a strategy that will control his buzz in other not to spend more than his affordable bankroll thats why I used savings as an example.

Trying to make up some calculation then it is way more than on the amount that you had lost in 20 years time.It is soo much that's why lots are really try to do the same thing.
We might be seeing those people who had been betting for more longer years than with this woman.
Dont understand your point here. Are saying the amount she had lost for the whole 20years is more than the amount she won?

Patience did pay off and not all would really be given out with that extreme luck.
You are right and that's why gambling should be treated as a means of entertainment that could conceivably generate money.

333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 23, 2021, 10:08:35 PM
You are absolutely right and if I am correct Liverpool have failed to win in 5 consecutive leagues now,  their lost to Burnley yesterday end their unbeaten record in the premier league at Anfield stadium and according to what I read, Liverpool have not experience a league defeat at Anfield since 2017 but Klopp said it all his fault.
Do you agree?
It could have been his fault or not, but the fact is teams will always have a good and bad day in office, No record stays on forever  Wink
On Klopps decision to start some players on bench, I think it affected the general outcome of the game, but sometimes players have to be rested especially when the Champion's League is around the corner.
Is not the champions league these guys were playing games after 4 days interval, this is January a very busy week you have to rotate to keep the team in good shape and that's everywhere even the smaller clubs in England are  doing it to survive
@JeromeTash, you are right for not every day is Christmas but I believe him (Klopp) starting with bench player the reason why he takes the blame.
@igehhh, I agree with you but this kind of rotation will not work for every football club (imitation is a limitation) cause the Coach needs to consider the capacity of all his boys before making such a decision.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 23, 2021, 09:43:46 PM
Although Tyson have a much higher odds than Anthony Joshua, I will still bet on AJ as I watched his highlights.

He really dominated his opponents inside the ring and he show no mercy in his opponents.

We are not sure yet of the betting odds, unless listed in betting sites, that's the only time we can conclude.
For now, there are articles telling that Tyson Fury will be the favorites, but I believe even if he is the favorites, it's still a slight favorite only.
I find it out that a sport booker (betnomi) have already set an odds for the Joshua and Fury fight which was set as May 29th but I'm curious how they come up with the date of the fight which paper was not sign and the exact venue of the fight was not selected.
Having said that, the odds were in favor of Fury but I choose Joshua as the winning of the fight and I think that's what Latviand is trying to say.

Wow, this is really a big fight because odds are already available this early. I'm not expecting that Fury would be favored this high, this is telling us that AJ's performance in his recent fights are not so impressive, well, it's easy to understand that but this is a chance for the AJ's backers to take that very attractive moneyline betting odds.

Anthony Joshua by Decision, this one is at 7.50, seems really attractive IMO. Your thoughts?

336  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 22, 2021, 09:00:38 PM
The poorest people don't have access on internet so how much more on bitcoin, I would say middle class people have the chances to know and use bitcoin in real basis.
Poor can be categorized into 4 places but I can assure both the rural and urban poor have benefited from Bitcoin. Those rural poor people who don't have the chance to know Bitcoin are those that don't have internet, electricity and require information to learn about Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, Bitcoin was created to bridge the global wealth gap (giving people financial freedom) and limit inflation.

I also think the poor people don't wanna involved with they don't have access with wherein they are much more interested on how they can put food on their plates and stomach everyday.
They want to get involved but poor people who have been scammed by some fake crypto investment companies just like what happened in India, South Africa (MTI) etc. Good is what is need to pass onto them and they will be willing to invest in crypto. Mind you, people in Zimbabwe also invest in Bitcoin despite their economic issues until the Golix exit scam.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 22, 2021, 07:30:44 PM
Liverpool is on a bad period right now and it's kinda been like this for 2 months now as if I remember well they struggled a lot into UCL aswell in taking points. Also they had some big lucky games when they won in the last minute or simply got a penalty but the current position in the EPL , reflects their game on the pitch. Also I do believe that United and Spurs and City will be the 3 teams that will fight for the Championship.

One thing I'm afraid for my team United and that is Mourinho took a title in the 2nd year of training in EPL everytime and not only. He went to Real 1st year won nothing , then won title. Went to Inter, won nothing 1st year then the title. Went 2 times to Chelsea, won nothing 1st year, won the title next year. Went to United 1 time , nothing 1st year , almost a title next year but he won UEFA LEAGUE. And now , nothing with Spurs last year.....title this year ? Sketchy , right ?
That's Mourinho for you. He usually uses his first year as a sacrifice whilst he learns how to use the player's potential to the fullest. United gotta be ready for some surprises.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 22, 2021, 06:53:30 PM
Our hopes are high up again with expectations from the new government, will campaign promises be fulfilled? Or are we about to get something again that we didn't bargain for?
It too early to know all the intention of the new President elect but like you said all hope are high but if people can put their hope in God cause the new president is a human not an angel and I don't expect him to fulfill all promises but it will be nice if he executes 75% out of it.

With the inauguration of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. as the 46th president of the United States, what is to be expected in the economic world?
Concern the world economy, i think Biden will create fairness in the economy and bring the world together cause it looks like hes also interested in peace.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: How to optimise paying taxes when cashing BTC ? on: January 20, 2021, 11:51:36 PM
Doing something against the authority could get you into trouble and the last time I check Spain resident are taxed between 19% and 23% but if you want to minimize your tax payment I will advise you not to sell all the BTC for fiat currency i.e sell 45% for Euro while you hold 55% in stablecoin which you'll keep in your personal wallet till when you are ready to invest again.

This is great. Thank you.

So, If the idea is to sell in order to buy more after the bull run, It has not sense to cash anything to fiat. It is way better to withdraw to stablecoins.

What I am missing here?
You absolutely don't miss anything. I gave you the advice of converting some of your holdings to fiat footing your question consider minimize tax payment for the USD remit you received for selling BTC when the Spain tax agency always taxed crypto exchange back to fiat.

...

In my country, it's also one of the strategies since the stablecoins aren't taxed but to be honest I'm surprised they don't tax it like any other trading activity, whatever it's about crypto or not.

Look what I mean:

Traditional traders making money, while trading for example USD/EUR, are taxed. Traders making money with cryptocurrencies are taxed. But when it's about stablecoins you are not taxed. Yet a stablecoin is a currency by nature too.
Yes but understand that they are not naive about what you explained.
having said that, what I believe is that the Europe Central Bank doesn't want stablecoins cause they see it as development which may affect their exercise and mandate. That's why they are against Libra once they study its roadmap

I can't explain why, is it because they haven't yet taken the time to expand the laws to include the stablecoins, or because they don't know about stablecoins, which is impossible nowadays.
Your country Central Bank stance about stablecoin explain the reason why stablecoin are not tax and you can use this site to have more insight about crypto tax in your country and the rest of the world.

340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 20, 2021, 09:38:59 PM
~snip~
I respect your strength because what you just said have led to mental issue in some people and to be honest every gamblers indirectly chase after lost because is practically a game of chance with the winning edge of 1%, why gamble with the amount cant easily overlook?
Actually, people know if they have a mental issue because of gambling, but they are trying to deny it and consider it does not exist. It is normal to chase after losing as we don't want to get lost, in anything not just in gambling. But we need to consider and knowing how big percentage to win for us, and we can gamble with some amount without trying to chase the win money.
You make a good point but some people don't know they have mental issues through gambling if they know they would have sought for help before it turns into something enormous like losing their marriage but as you have said every gambler needs to consider winning possibility in every game.

~snip~
I dont see any reason for anyone to try hard to win online gambling when the chance of winning is always 1%. I am gambler but I gamble occasionally and I havent gamble this year.
We can enjoy gambling without thinking about how big the chance of winning because we don't search for winning. We know that gamble is about luck, and we don't have to gamble too often as we gamble to have fun and enjoy the game. [~].
I don't think we enjoy gambling without thinking about the chance of winning to be 1% cause 95% of all gamblers are actually after the reward involved.
