That's a close translation Daparski. But I popped it into google translate and this is what I got: "I am upset that Iconomi didn't pump like everything else so I will blame it on the developers"

Stop being militant defenders. Honestly, it's annoying. As I said, I am one of the top 100 holders, so you are not on the right address. And no idea who else to blame? Weather? Trump? My cats?

I don't want ICN to be pumped and become shit coin. However, we are 2 weeks before the release of platform and no promo has been done at all, no big investors buying, just some day trading going on on Kraken and a bit on Liqui. The platform will be useless, if nobody will even know about it. Meanwhile, there has been multiple new direct competitors of ICN, who already got more promo than ICN in its entire existence. So yes, I am concerned and I believe rightly so.

Release of the platform itself won't change anything. There has to be some promo. And by that I do not mean ICN to be added to Polo. That would be terrible at this point and Devs know that.

Competitors have been pumped like the latest and greatest shitcoins on polo (potcoin, pascal). There is no one in the near future (1 year ahead) that will come with a basic functional platform.

So if you are worried price wise - say it out loud. For PR you need to have a working product.

You realize that it is the first platform, product (ICNX) and token of its kind ever, right?
And that platform needs to handle and secure funds and real money. It needs to show stats in near real time, to handle and execute buy/sell orders across multiply exchanges, to manage identities, few wallets and other things.

It was under development for less than 6 months.

I am not a militant defender at all. I agree that it's better to take another month or two and to release a well tested, secured and stable platform than something half baked.

I am quite concerned with the lack of ability of ICN team to promote their product. I am one of top 100 holders, but not exactly too happy with the progress so far.

Sure, platform is not launched for the public, that's fine and I am eagerly waiting for that. But the lack of any kind of promo is terrible. If the team cannot promote the platform when it's 2 - 3 weeks (allegedly) from launch, I don't have high hopes about the promo after the launch. The final product may be amazing, but unless it attracts people, then it's fairly pointless.

Promo is simply lacking, but I will wait with the decision until the platform is released and maybe a few weeks after that.

So far, I am not happy. The lack of ability to create high expectations from the product is simply essential.

True dat, they have 11 days left to prove themselves.

I know it's a Hail Mary , but hope they can get their shit together and fix this shit.

What are you so upset about? Price or product?

Is ICN even legal in US ? If no how does melon and other similar projects deal with this problem ?
ICN is legal for everybody. Currently US citizens cannot buy Iconomi products on the platform (such as ICNX )

Can someone with beta post a picture of the ICNX chart? I would like to see how the index is doing.

ICONOMI will distribute the dividends in the end of Q1, right? They are legitimate team and promise many good things, I think they will deliver although the launch is delayed.
Not end of Q1.
Dividends will be distributed after platform is released. What dividends you expect from beta testers use?
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 17, 2017, 12:45:45 PM
Look at that volume on Melonport on Kraken, damn.
This gives me some serious thoughts about the future of Iconomi.

I mean if they got 10m and couldn't attract such volume in 6months, and mln does that, then we've got serious trouble.

Iconomi has a different approach towards their project - no fake volume, no pumps and no polo scams.
First priority after ICO is to deliver a working product with good foundations on which it will be easier to build OFM and scale up.

If you ask me, it's about time for some mature and professional approach in the crypto sphere

i wonder why this forum admin delete the bad feeling comments about the final release  and never give a time range for it

the Q1 of 2017 is almost finished

why they are not giving this info ??

all people and investors want to know

You're not allowed to express any negativity towards Iconomi now.

Moderated thread = feel good echo chamber where we all have to lick the devs poop chute, while they piss about and lose us money  Grin

This thing could have another year of delays, price hitting 500 sat, and people would still say "this is long term project guys! Moon is just around the corner!"

I preferred it when people could express their concerns freely, without being silenced because it doesn't follow the naive, uncritical fanboy mentality  Roll Eyes

I feel you.. That is because fanboy want censorship. You only get one side of the story. The fanboy story. Fanboys making so much money in this altcoin boom on the ICN because it is on Poloniex, ...not!

It's very simple - FUD will be deleted. You can criticize Iconomi, cry about the price and even post the same 'when polo, when access' questions.

What you won't be allowed to do (posts will be insta deleted) is to spread misinformation, lies or any other form of FUD.

Newbie accounts with second post crying about freedom of speech are welcome to post with their real account and not hide like a small girl.

If you want updates from the team - medium and Twitter are the official channels

Hi

The team silently withdraw 1000 BTC
and no comment

Happened in 4th of March, so maybe they cashed out for fiat? It could be OK, why do you think they should announce everyone?

They moved them to exchange in order to be able to send them back to multiple wallets.
Iconomi needs to be able to invest in ICOs without everyone to know how much and in which ICO while the ico is still ongoing

Stop deleting my posts, Daparski, you cuck!

It was a joke!

Power gone to your head! I knew this day would come!

You wrote just FUD, that's why it was deleted

That was you that dumped the price to .00022 last night?

If I remember correctly I took it down 0.000229, somebody else took it to 0.000220, and now it is currently back up to 0.000264 less than 12 hours later.  I think there is an important observation here - somebody is buying up all the ICN they can get.  Both of us apparently think ICN is a good thing to hodl, I just needed some cash for a car.

I hope my ICN went into lots of new people's wallets and lots of new ICONOMI owners.  Somehow I don't think it did.

Enjoy your new ride!

Iconomi is at the exact place it needs to be - working hard to deliver the first ever crypto index fund and set the foundations for a a platform that will allow people to create their own funds.
It takes time to develop it, there aren't more of things to verify and everything has to be checked and tested extremely careful.
It's real money that will be managed and held by the platform.

It was never meant to be a fast p&d project.
If you can't get arch other alts go up - either sell or don't look.

As a beta tester I can confirm that platform works smooth, it's easy to navigate and use.

Don't be cry babies about the price, it's a long term investment.

Having some troubles in understanding the investment vehicle we have here. I have access to the system now finally, and see index and performance funds available. Ok good. I see capitalization of performance fund. However, that ammount does not correspond to the sum of "UNINVESTED ASSETS" listed. I calculate roughly 1.2M USD more than "ICNP net value". Neither can I see total number of assets available in both cases. I could guess from the price of performance.fund that there are 1M available? Also how many are there for index?

I think I have too many questions, so I wrote it down more structured:

ICN.performance:
- Why does the sum ammount of "UNINVESTED ASSETS" differ from "ICNP net value"? Difference is roughly 20%, but is it subtracted from the beginning (Performance fee)?
- How much assets in total are available? 1M? How can I see those numbers?
- Basically when I buy this asset I invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Lisk, because those parts make the majority of total value, correct?

ICN.index:
- How much assets in total are available?
- What is total market capitalization of this fund? I can only see bundle structure, but no amounts of investments.
- How is the ICN.index price calculated? Based on total array capitalization divided by number of index assets? Then those numbers should be available.

ICN in general:
- It seems, when investing in index and performance you double pay those assets (indirectly via ICO and directly via purchase). The ICO money partially is the total value of performance fund. Should it then better belong to ICO holders? I read about 20% so I was assuming to receive 0.2 ICN.PERFORMANCE per 1 ICN...
- How does buying and selling work? Is it emitted by ICONOMI? Normally there should be buying and selling orders.

Hope this bothers not too much and someone can step up and clarify some of those points. Would be really nice. THX.

You mixed up ICNP with ICNX..

ICNP:
- Net value is $ value of uninvested and invested assets.
- ICNP token are not tradable. 1M ICNP tokens are just a number to visualize and measure the fund performance.

ICNX:
- This is the "passive" index-based fund. Basically it tracks the performance of the underlying assets and is rebalanced on a monthly basis. When you buy ICNX, the platform buys the listed assets in the index based on their current weight.
-ICNX tokens will be tradable on exchanges.
-ICNX is calculated based on the price of its underlying assets

ICN:
- Buying ICN does not mean investing into any fund that is active on Iconomi platform. It does gives you a share of the profits that are generated on the platform. These profits include:
20% of ICNP realized profits
3% of money invested in ICNX (yearly, calculated every 6 hours)
0.1% on buy/sell ICNX on the platform
fees from fiat proccessing (still not active)
fees from every other fund that people will create on the platform (coming this year)

hope it clears it up

Someone transferred about 700,000 tokens last night to Kraken out of his 1.5 million stash and is dumping.

https://etherscan.io/token/ICONOMI?a=0xcf40d0d2b44f2b66e07cace1372ca42b73cf21a3

things are about to get choppy
HODL!

At the link you gave there is no ~700k ICN transaction in the last 3 days. Are you sure you saw it right ?

Not all at once... I think he means this address:

https://etherscan.io/token/ICONOMI?a=0x2ccc5a059a1bda4c3c3c594516e812a0b15799c9

the first one really dump'd some ICN in less time.seems a whale to me..

doesn't really matter too much who dumped and who accumulated. More dump from whales now --> better distribution
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 12, 2017, 08:24:16 PM
...
4) dividends every 6 hrs for ICNX on your eth address
5) my ICN = 10 000 ICN: 0,002$*10000 ( ICNP example 30 days) + 0,00000082*10000*30days = 20$ + 0,246$ = 20,246$ but 1 000 000 $ for ICNX very small, min on start 5 -50 million and + ICO golem, santiment

4. Dividends are calculated every 6 hours for ICNX. They are not distributed every 6 hours. That would be insane

5. Depends on the price you bought your 10K ICN, but let's assume it was worth something around 3000 usd when you bought. You can't expect much dividends for that amount, especially from a startup that just starts to operate.
Dividends will kick in hard later on in the game. Do not expect much in the next few months

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 12, 2017, 08:12:15 PM
Hoping somebody can help me out so I can have my expectations correct.  Assuming Iconomi generates $1 Mill in profits what would the payout per ICN be?

Is it 20% of $1 Mill = $200k
Then ICN shares cap is 87 mill (correct?) so..
$200k / 87 million (shares) = 0.00229

so 1 ICN = $0.00229 if Iconomi generates $1 mill in profits?

Making 10,000 ICN $22.99 in realized returns per year?

Also, is profit actually profit.  What I mean is: Does Iconomi consider profit the amount after paying for employees, renting the office, expenses, etc.?  I asking because if Iconomi generates $1million in revenue, after expenses the true profit is much less.

Again, just hoping to make sure expectations or in the right place and seeing how much to invest.  Love the team, love the idea, hope to love the returns.

-AJ

It's always good to start with WP and FAQs.

Iconomi platform generates fees from all active funds. Some will generate passive fees, based on the amount of money people have invested in the fund, such as ICNX.
Other funds will be actively managed by people, (hedge or performance funds) and they will generate fees based on the fund performance. ICNP is such performance fund which invests into ICOs and is manged by a dedicated Iconomi team. 20% of all realized profits will be distributed as dividends.

Keep in mind that dividends will always be distributed between all ICN tokens - 100M and not 87M.

In general I think it is a bit too early to talk about and calculate dividends. In any case Iconomi will have an official post about that topic once it will be more relevant.

20% of realized profits will be distributed among all ICN holders.

Posts with inappropriate language will be insta deleted. The same goes for people that quote the posts on repies

On a personal note - if you are not happy with the current progress, you could sell at $0.50. There was even less news and no beta access then.

Personally it seems that you joined forces with cryptoinsiders group.

Will keep a close look on your posts

My guess is ICONOMI has invested in WeTrust. Can anyone confirm this?
WeTrust collected 1k btc on the very first day of ICO.
Not possible without a big player investment.

Here is the thing that stopped me from investing in WeTrust:

Team keeps all the ETH from ico.  Team keeps over 10% of TRST supply.  And they keep the fees generated by platform.

It would be much more attractive if all the fees from platform were distributed to TRST holders.

They are in US and probably afraid of the old Howey Test, so it would also work to collect all the fees into a smart contract, then TRST holders could vote on how to spend them.  Or burning some TRST to shrink the supply would have the same effect as distributing fees.

I brought up the issue of the fees 2-4 times before and during the ico and was ignored or given a copy/paste response from team.  This was also the main issue people on reddit had:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/5wzzmq/wetrust_crowdsale_underway_dont_miss_the_1st_day/

Other than that, it looks like a great project with great people.

first day/hour ICO bonus is a turn off for me.
