In almost every thread about a new "currency" or project someone has to say this. It does not mean anything anymore. Everything is Pump & Dump, yes, even ICN. In this case it means a lot 63% of all ICN are still untouched and these are not the small fishes with a bunch of ICN. The whales are holding so the trust in this is much bigger than you may think. I can only repeat myself. Iconomi isn't like any other "currency". Can you name another "currency" where we can find similar things? And please come back to BTT to talk with the investors. People don't have patience at all they want quick results and hard dates this is problem with crypto. They fully ignore the fact that in software development delays are normal thing to be seen everyday. I am good with this delay for getting a more stable platform. These minor bugs creates big problems people need to understand this thing.
Yes but waiting until 24 hours for launch was a BS move that screwed a ton of people. You all seem happy your tokens lost 30 % of their value that is the funny part. We don't care short term. Would bring some clarity and probably trust back. i was trying to join slack and i could not... can you direct me to iconominet slack.. Type in your email address, then you should receive an invitation per email. Afterwards it should be self explanatory but if you have any issues just ask. |

Hahahah they cancelled it 24 hours before launch and sprung it as a surprise on shareholders? I see that iconomi still has the most incompetent devs in the business. I remember they did the same kind of behavior during ICO. These guys really do not have what it takes.

Common man !! If you know the release date and price can go up ( 100% ) why you should to dump your stake ? Always I supposed that crypto people have some level of intelligence !! I was wrong ! I agree that the 360k seller probably knew about the delay before the rest of market. Crypto is one of the most free markets there is, so how would you prevent such trades from happening? Trying to regulate a market so that it is "fair for all of us" would actually be a socialist market. A free market like crypto is one in which prices are determined by unrestricted competition. "unrestricted competition" vs restricted competition Let's say there are 10 BTC holders right? Each of them have some amount of BTC ( really doesnt matter how many) The price of btc is $900 ( and in the next days there will be an big announcement, UE USA etc will regulate the market) With two days before of announcement you got from inside (official source) the information that there will be no regulation) In this cause the BTC price will crash, but you have an advantage ( you have the information) You sell all of them! After that comes the official statement " There will be no regulation" Price crashes to $700 $600 You are happy because you are "smart" than others 9 ( they were f***ed up! ) This is "unrestricted competition" ? Are you for real? Unrestricted competition it should be fair competition in which, everyone has equality of opportunity. Do you know that this kind of acts are forbidden on Stock Exchanges ? PS : I'm not leftist! (socialist) I'm rightist. I much prefer the unrestricted competition case. One market participant wins the competition by exercising the competitive advantage he gets by receiving information first. If this participant worked to get himself into a position where he receives information first, but then some centralized party blocks him from using that advantage and he loses, wouldn't that be unfair? It was public information that we were supposed to receive invites to test the platform by Saturday. The guy didn't start dumping the 360k until it was Sunday and it was obvious there would be a delay because no one had received invites yet. Yep, I had the same thoughts as he had yesterday evening, but wasn't 100% sure about it. I learned something new and next time I'll be well aware of it. 20% More ICN will be a lot of money in the future. |

Many people don't realize that ICONOMI team hasn't even started touching the allocated funds for PR & marketing.
Once the platform launches this December 28 and the PR & marketing campaign starts, the Market Cap of ICN will quickly climb to top 5 on MarketCap list.
Are they waiting with PR & marketing until the launch for a relatively low-profile start ? They have to have a final and working product in order to start the promoting. Is not a good idea to promote a project where the possible audience will not be able to actually use the product/platform yet.  Can't wait to see their marketing to kick in! Then we will be on our way to the moon. |

By tomorrow all the early access group should be able to access the platform... Today around midnight, we're launching the all new ICONOMI. The access will be given also to you. Some of you will get the access immediately, some of you later until Saturday. Yes same here, no confirmed early access user i have heard of yet. Think we will get our X-mas access tomorrow They will start beta access on Saturday IMO, those who already have access are under NDA, so devs can receive a mayor feedback of good and bad things especially bad things and fix them before it gets public (for example by posting screenshots here) and maybe cause bad publicity. I would do the same if this would be my baby. Edit: Wouldn't be the first time that they use NDA's. [bold]#polo[/bold] Polo trolls inc in 3...2...1... How would they enforce that NDA? What's to stop someone from posting with a newbie account? I don't think they will use NDA for early access. But the point was that I don't see a way to enforce that kind of NDA Ok let's just make one option: devs pick out the 10-15th biggest ico participants These 10-15 people get an e-mail from devs within they say that you get early access if you confirm not to post anything till 28th - there you have your NDA. I don't think people who participate with a big stack of their money want bad publicity for their investment (including you and me). Therefore they wouldn't have a benefit by posting these screenshots anyway. |
