What do you think is the common sentiment? Is everyone and their mother going to dump on Dec. 28 because they need liquidity to invest into ICNX/ICNP or do you think it will pump since it's the release of the platform and Iconomi pretty much starts working from that point on? Would like to hear some opinions.
I am gonna buy some or I might sell some ICN to buy some. Its a good question really. Its gonna pump quite high regardless though so I wouldnt worry. Why? There is no rush for investing in ICNX and your ICN will grow in worth when more money comes into ICNX so why would you sell your ICN tokens? I don't get it. That doesn't make sense for me. |

Yes!! I think there will be a pump after the launch of the platform AND if this launch comes with dividends finally enabled then call it a SUPER MEGA PUMP!! This shall be an exiting time for all ICN holders. Another thing to consider, there is virtually zero (as in zilch/nada/0) inflation on this token, unlike other coins/assets such as Bitcoin, Ripple, Lisk, Ethereum and the now Zcash and Zcash Classic so this means that price can only go up with an increasing market cap without anything whether its inflation or otherwise impeding that your asset fully appreciate on its value. Enjoy the ride! There will be no dividends in the near future as Jaka said last Friday: "We are a long term business not pump and dump, so do not expect dividends on 1st of January or any time very soon... ". |

Does anyone think that Chronobank will be the next Iconomi investment? They have high value project with realistic roadmap and achievable targets, I hope it will be the next investment, the ICO will launch on Thursday.

But as usual they will not tell where they invested funds until the end of particular ICO Link or it didn't happen. People need to understand that AMP was trading under 11k sat already BEFORE Greg's announcement. Before Greg's announcement people were still believing in the roadmap. Even with that roadmap and the amazing tech it included AMPs was going down.
AMPs won't rise above that when Synereo decides to kick RChain/Greg out, no reason for it to go higher than when it was being traded BEFORE Greg's announcement. As before teh announcement people were still believing in the tech and the roadmap, so when Synereo kicks out this tech and goes for an inferior tech it won't trade higher.

Launching an ICO in the present climate can be challenging: bitcoin is riding high, and many people are buying and holding; ethereum has had its problems over the last few months and as a result investor sentiment (not technology sentiment) is low. Great timing requires you to be very sensitive to external sentiment or to work with someone who is. Do you maybe (as a ICONOMI or individual) think that there is also a problem with low liquidity due to most of the funds stuck in some sort of investments (like ICOs or something else) and there is not enough "free cash" that is searching for new projects? Because for example Wings ICO took off very promising but after first day hype it did not manage to get a lot of funds on the daily basis. So its eather not enough "free floating money" there or just reasons mentioned above in the quote? Opinion whether its a good project or not is put outside in my question. What do you mean low liquidity? You know that there is ~4.5M usd in Iconomi.PERFORMACE fund, and that is before the second round, which will take place sometimes in 2017? I don't see any liquidity problem in the fund since it will take time until those 4.5M+ usd are invested. There has been a steady rise in buy orders on Kraken. Up from about 400k 24 hours ago to over 550k. I know some that missed out on the 0.00015 to 0.00020 range and now look like missing out on the 0.00020's. It's just a typo... They spent the entire 2016 working on this project to release it before end of Q4, why would he be pulling date of his ass?
They always release stuff on TUESDAYS, so most likely Tue 27 Dec is the official date & Tue 20 Dec is date for early testing access.
Your logic may very well be correct. Still, it wasn't a typo. It was a school boy error, which I wouldn't expect from a member of a team who are supposed to be good with numbers. Just makes him look like a dummy. Just makes him a human, like all of us! |
