^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ In all seriousness that kind of stuff is good but maybe that's more slogans, this is more ANN language to explain what this is. You wouldn't nessecarily put it on a website. And actually that's the kind of thing slogans are like for example... Money for the Next Millennium Money but better. Digital money, real lives. Bitcoin reimagined XtraBytes, I'm loving it! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You know that kind of stuff that if you say out loud makes you kind of cringe. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) but companies love to have.

Damn the planned platform looks great, when will it be online?
Sorry these are I'm sure newbie questions asked a million times.
1. Is the waves platform completely decentralised and unhackable? What risk is there if any?
2. what currencies can I convert to?
3. Is there lots of liquidity?
4. Can I store fiat in the wallet without giving loads of personal info? KYC checks...
As sometimes it's good to move BTC to fiat even if I never actually send it to a bank.

You don't need a powerful computer, as long as you can run a qt wallet it can be used. I believe some are even running one on a Rasberry Pi but you need to check it.

$5 million is not huge looking at the current ICO trend, but my issue is that the service the team is looking to provide there are alot of competitors in the space now looking to offer such services though their is huge potential for such services as cryptomarket matures
There is always a balance between the amount you want to raise, the value of the token and what your investors get. For us $5M is a good number for funding our activity and give good performance to the investors (which is good for everyone). I don't see a lot of services like CoinDash out there, that is why we are developing it. Melonport, ICONOMI and Taas are investment instruments (answer for the "how" do I trade). We want to solve the problem that all the newcomers and even old time blockchainers face, which is what to invest in and when. That is why we consider ourselves a platform/ hub for crypto investors where they can find useful tools (portfolio management), social trading and explore investment opportunities and 3rd party investment instruments like ICONOMI/ Melonport/ etc (we actually included an integration with them in our road map, check the white paper). This space is loosing hundreds of thousands of new users every year because there are simply no good tools to help them trade. They could have otherwise become the biggest advocates of blockchain tech. We intend to make crypto trading much more accessible to them. 5 million for you to code a trading station. such scammers I hope no one gives you a dime.

Sorry but I don't trust the voting for the logos, when I saw the bee one got 5 votes I smell changing your ip and voting multiple times for you own coin, and black when from 0 votes to 18 from the same guy....come on now. This is for the project not so somone can win a few coins.
I would prefer the team in charge would choose ,changing ip and multiple voting is easy anyone can do it.

Seems promising, when will it be added to other exchanges?
I think soon it will be added to other good exchanges.Meanwhile Whoever wants to have XBY STaTic nodes.. Secure atleast 500K to 1 Million XBY.. Buy it when its cheap ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) What exactly are static nodes? AFAIK, and making it brief, your own private money printing machine ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) So basically a bank.

It doent matter of Daniel is part of this. Alon was main founder of GETGEMS along with Daniel, he was the developer and was as much part of GEGEMS AND PAYKEY as Daniel.
I'll look for the videos maybe deleted, but he did the presentations for GETGEMS along with Daniel. The fucker is and was GETGEMS. He's a scammer, even worse he is a smart scammer with no ethics. He owe me a lot of money for the lies they got my money with.

I love this project and have many coins BUT I was thinking today it is better we have steady growth rather than extreme rises too early.
My reason is we dont want to find ourselves at 20m marketcap or more which we could do very easily and still be testing the system. Once we get to those kind of prices and more there will be a lot of pressure on the project and people will demand for white papers etc very strongly then. Best we have everything set up nicely websites, white paper etc before we go too big.

Do you blame them? If someone gave me a million dollars for nothing I would definitely try again. ICOs are the new Nigerian Prince scam. They offer you to get rich, they just need some of your money up front, and all your dreams will come true!
Yeah but how would you feel if say ETHEREUM or RIPPLE walked away with your money and jumped though legal loop holes that meant you couldn't do anything. This wasn't some shitcoin ICO.....at all. *Note to self never invest in Shirosullaby's ICO if he does one. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

What I hated about these guys apart form the fact they stole my money is they made the ICO look 100% legit. In fact it technically was legit, thats what I hate about them. They are high functioning scammers who steal under your nose and tell you they aren't while doing it and have the full power of the legal loopholes they created to do it.
I mean they had legitimate third part to do the ICO, legal stuff in place, real faces and names, video podcasts, completely 'legit'. I can deal with some idiot making an obvious fake scam and idiots fall for it, I've done it myself and laugh at my own stupidity...but this felt personal, I would PM chatting between Peled before the penny dropped.
Plus they are rich kids, Peled's dad was like some well known Jewish banker connected to the Kibbutz system. They are all Uni educated smart tossers living in cool apartments and office in Tel AViV..

Two questions: 1. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct wallet to download, and not someone scamming? *sorry if you are on the team and I don't recognize, but leary due to this not being on the ANN* 2. Umm, I tried to transfer my XBY to the wallet with an old version and the coins never arrived. Am I screwed or will everything show up when I get the updated wallet? Please answer... I'm a little worried. Thanks you! BTW never! download a wallet from a repost, it can easily be a scam. Only from known posters like the developer. Did you get scammed? NO, its very easy to quote someone who posted a wallet link and change the wallet download in the quote to a wallet that is designed to give key loggers etc, it happens a lot. Always download direct from known trusted poster. For a second I thought it looked like a spoof account as I couldn't see the other releases, but I was mistaken.

Sorry for posting so much i''l stop and go to bed now BUT. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Sorry for repetition but please if you don't want Yobit traders to suppress the price artificially then don't forget to put some BUY walls up, even .01 if lots of people do it will stop the fake dumpers from dumping. Please don't think of this as manipulation, its ANTI MANIPULATION until we get on a better exchange where people actually use the buy wall for buying not manipulating the market.

get gemz - terrible scam project.
keep this thread on the first page.
I said this on their thread but I will repeat my point. There seems ZERO reason to do a token sale on a trading platform. If its a good platform people would pay to use it. Trust me they will do something like allow paid people or fucking banks to use the platform and will not give two shits your tokens become worthless in the process. Its a cash grab. The guy is walking around with my money in his pocket. One thing that pissed me off about GETGEMS is they are very sneaky in terms of law. They specifically use the word token to by pass a lot of legal restrictions.
|
|
|
I agree anyone involved with get gemz project should be avoided. These people will take your ico money and use it to line their own pockets nothing more. daniel is probably in on this too.
I see zero reason for a trading platform to need a token ICO apart from a cash grab. They will use it for something else or simply accept paid members to use the platform making your token worthless. If they thought it was good business they wouldn't need an ICO.
