Anyone with a half-decent brain knows for a fact that IPL isn't a fixed league and is easily the most popular Cricket league across all formats hands-down currently. PSL is another great league which is turning out to be more and more entertaining as time passes.
Every league is unique and has its own fan base. IPL was the first and still the most profitable cricket league. All other leagues that started after IPL are basically a copy of it. These leagues also want their revenue to be similar to IPL but they forget they are not playing in India. I am not sure what is the global reach of IPL at the moment is but one thing I am sure that within India its reach and fanbase is more than its global reach/fanbase. There is no greed it is simple business. They know the popularity of IPL and I think it all depends on the Media house that has bought the telecast right. Start india already has an app known as hotstar. They only upload the highlights and telecast live matches through that app then why will they post it on YouTube. The cost is also not that high the minimum slab is 199 for six month if I am correct.
I am not saying that the Hotstar app is unaffordable. Personally I have subscribed several apps, just to watch live cricket - Fancode, Hotstar, Sony Liv and Amazon Prime. Although the cost may not be high for me, it may be the case for some other people here in India. If you want to subscribe all these apps, then it can cost you at least $50 per year, which is a significant amount here. My suggestion is to keep these apps for live matches and make the video highlights free for everyone by uploading them to YouTube. I doubt star india will ever post highlights on YouTube. This is how they make money for the amount they invested in media rights. Media rights are auctioned to the highest bidder. This year apart from Disney star network three other big companies will also be participating such as Sony Sports Network, Reliance-Viacom 18 and Amazon. It is for the period 2023 to 2027. |

Now I want to clear one thing it's not all about players and boards it's all about just political because recently we have few things which never happen before and these are showing true face of few countries and their policies like recently England Cricket Board cancel Pakistan's tour due to security reasons and now 22 English players are in PSL, and we have few from Australia and South Africa as well they have no security issues or any fear about anything even few members here pointing out that bomb blast happen in Lahore its big issue, but it's nothing any serious because security agencies already doing their duty, and now they are capturing all culprits those doing these tricks for many years.
Now what happen in New Zealand it's completely different story and now their media is also never want to hint out about this because they know it's wrong face of their country and all want to hit out at Pakistan because here system is regrouping, and they are improving things for better future.

I guess they can't upload these clips to YouTube, due to T&C of the television contract. Maybe BCCI should cut down on greed and ask the media rights holders to make highlights of already completed matches freely available for all. I am a regular visitor of YouTube channels of ECB and CA, and every now and then they upload full highlights to their channel (for example the recently concluded Ashes). I think it would be a bad idea to continue with this series because as I am hearing in the news that the new variant of coronavirus is far more contagious than before. So, it would be a good idea to maybe cancel the series. I also don't think that it would be a good idea to only quarantine those people who are tested positive because that might not be enough. In total 7 members of the Indian contingent have tested positive. The player's name are Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Navdeep Saini and there are three official. It must be an incredible feeling for England to have come back from such adversity. Afghanistan was informing their seniors of their fate. Well there are proofs that whats happening in Balochistan is funded by a neighbor country. Every country has its own internal issues, i remember how closely BAN team survived a killing attempt in NZ but nobody boycott going to NZ for playing cricket. There are matches in the past in Pakistan without any issue. I am not sure which proof are you talking about. NZ mosque attack happened in 2019 and in 2021 Bangladesh were back in Newzealand and were playing against them. I think the Bangladesh board were convinced with the security provided by the NZ authorities to its player otherwise they should have boycotted the tournament or could have asked for a neutral location. I am not sure why there is debate on this when the team that narrowly avoided the mass shooting does not have a problem. |

Ashwin has played in almost all the SENA nations, and I have never heard about anyone there complaining about his bowling action. And nowadays with technological advancement such as superslow video recording, it is almost impossible to get away with chucking. And the ICC has also formulated very strict laws against it.

Well, Pakistan media is going to do that because they need to raise their voice in such a matter that some current affairs are going to have a solvable chance very quickly. What I was saying is that it is not very rare for the Indian media to make some weird connections from the past occurrence with something that's going on in recent times. And we know how well Indian media can manipulate certain situations.
Don't only blame Indian media, the same is being done by the Pakistan media too. This is a common practice between both countries although it does not affect the Indian side. Yes, it affects the Pakistani side internationally and this is not entirely the fault of India if globally they are being heard. Such incidents should be put in order by the Pakistani government, which they have failed to do so. |

I was expecting Angkrish Raghuvanshi to score more than 16 runs in this match. Good and sensible batting by Rasheed stayed till the end of the innings. As predicted earlier by me the team that bats first on this wicket will win the match and India won it. I am not sure why did Bangladesh team opt to field first after winning the toss. If they had batted first then the result might have been different. Actually, it doesn't matter for me if Bangladesh batted first or bowled first, either way, I expected a lot better performance for Bangladesh under-19 as they are the defending champion. Imagine if the Indian bowlers didn't give the extra 18 runs that they did in the match, the score wouldn't be even 100, right? I was expecting that this might be a low-scoring match and Bangladesh will have a chance. But I was really disappointed, especially with the top order's performance. It seems like the Bangladesh A team and the U-19 team both have issues in batting line-up. The bowlers did a decent job as only a few Indian batters were able to score good. After this match I am expecting Indian batsmen to start playing better than what they did with Bangladesh. |

Washington Sundar I assume is a replacement of Hardik Pandya. KL Rahul I guess has been given another chance by the BCCI, they want him to learn from Rohit and take his place in the future. They could have given other young talent a chance but I guess they want to try this guy more. He was captaining earlier the Punjab team in IPL and is now the captain of the new Lucknow franchise there is something in him that I assume we do not know  I don't think that Washington Sundar is a replacement for Hard dick. A spin-bowling allrounder can't replace a pace-bowling allrounder, as both of them are suitable for different occasions. For the first option, we already have Ravindra Jadeja. No matter how hard Kohli and his cronies try, it will be hard for Washington to perform at a level above that of Jadeja. The only plus point for the former is that he enjoys support from Kohli, as Jadeja is being considered as close to MS Dhoni. And I don't want to comment anything more on Rahul. He is a complete waste. I don't want to squander my time commenting on him. An all-rounder is an all-rounder for me regardless of whether he is a spinner or a pacer. Since Pandya was out of the team they needed someone who can come in handy with bat and ball. Sunder was the correct choice at the moment. Jadeja would have been a great choice as an allrounder but I guess he might have not yet recovered from his injury. India also needs a replacement for him in the future and given the situation Sunder is a good choice. |

I really absolutely do not understand what is the problem with touring Pakistan!! I mean if you want to just look at the Indian news channels and media and predict that some unbelievable terrorist attack is going to happen on the Australian team then my suggestion is just to stay in Australia and better stay in your house, and don't ever go out!!  I do believe that the situation is not as bad as the media is trying to portray. I think Pakistan have made the right decision and should hold onto their decision. Whenever there is some country trying to play cricket in Pakistan there is some blast or other such activity which is highlighted by Indian media only. The all important quarterfinal has started in the under 19 world cup between Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan has won the toss and asked the Australians to bat first. Although they made the right choice but Australians are playing very well and have made 58 runs without any wicket. If this continues. then I am afraid, it will be hard for us to chase down big target.
Also I am getting scores of this match through the internet because the local sports TV channels are busy showing the matches of PSL.
A very good toss won by Pakistan but no Australia is on good hold with Teague Wyllie on crease very good event for this youngster 67 on 92 and in tournament 260 with average of 260 really amazing. More unpredicted results have come. Sri Lanka too is undefeated in the group matches, but it has lost to Afghanistan by 4 runs in yesterday's match. In this tournament it is able to see the better performance of every country. Not only the top order teams, but the bottom teams too doing good giving unexpected results. In tomorrow's match India is playing Bangladesh. We don't know what's going to be the result, because India stands undefeated on the group matches.  Both Sri Lanka and Pakistan were undefeated in the group stages and they lost in the quarterfinals. So do you think India will be eliminated too as they were also undefeated? If India managed to survive against Bangladesh, which they should, I think then India will be the favorites to win the tournament. I can predict the Australia and India in the finals but lets see what developed in the last Quaterfinals and then the Semifinals. Australia vs India in the finals will only happen if India is able to win today's match. I was going through some prediction report on this match and toss will play a major role in India and Bangladesh match. The team that wins the toss and bats first has a higher chance of winning than the one that bats second. For India Angkrish Raghuvanshi can play an important role of India bats first. |
