Surprisingly, the beginners' board is the board for beginners. I made a mistake in posting a beginners thread there, and I now realise that the forum policy is to post such beginners' topics in the advanced specialist boards that the beginners don't visit. I apologise to the forum, and I won't make the mistake again. I'll leave such topics to others to not post.

With the Internet, we can all indulge our fantasies. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fjetcash.com%2Fimages%2Factivity-10010.jpg&t=663&c=M13jRbModcX1Ww) [REALITY CHECK] It isn't going to be me if I continue to make rubbish posts like this.

@foxpup
I'm so pissed off with these threads that I gave you 5 merits for being the target.

Thanks Jack, but I really hoped for some comments by brand new members, their posts seem to be considered flatus by many of the members on the speculation and mining boards, but maybe that has changed recently. However, I don't think it will be an early port of call for them, and they could be put off by talk of EMA ribbons, fibonacci retracement, and bollinger bands. They want to know about volatility, and how to buy coins without wasting money. They also need to be deflected away from buying Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin. This is why I thought it was essential for the thread to be in beginners and help. The purpose of the board is in the name.
@Pugman - In view of the loss of valuable members, and the comments about the decline in quality posting, maybe it is time for a change of mods, or at least a change in policy. See my reply to JackG for my reason for not putting the thread in speculation, Beginners need to discuss with other beginners sometimes, and not be subject to belittling comments by the experienced - this is why we have a beginners and help board, isn't it?
Re: your comment about my not posting: you are the second person to suggest this, and the last time I had to go to other forums to glean the information I needed. Also, I'm teaching myself to become a Forex scalper, and I'm doing this with the help of YouTube, as I didn't feel that I could get the interaction here. I really do want to interact with new Bitcoin users in foreign countries, so maybe the best place to do this is to discuss the topic on non-crypto boards, I already do it in McDonalds and such places.

I wanted to start a topic for beginners, and to help them to learn a bit about Bitcoin price movements, and it seemed to start reasonably well. However it has been moved onto the speculation board, and I think this is a spammers board and I have it on ignore, so I will not be revisiting the thread.
In my opinion, if you want new blood in the Bitcoin Talk forum, then you need to allow new members to discuss topics like this, and they won't be visiting the minor domains of the bounty spammers, unless they are just trying to boost their membership and spam sigs. It's getting harder to find good and interesting general topics here, and if the mods keep pissing off members who are actively trying to remedy this, then it will get even worse.
Can we have some sort of policy decision on the direction BT is to take in the future, and a bit of training for some of the mods might help as well.

Guaidó gained a degree in public administration at George Washington University. and many feel that this may have given him a bias towards the globalists. Here is a quote from the GWU website In January 2019, seven GW alumni were inaugurated into the 116th Congress— but it doesn’t stop at Capitol Hill. Our students go on to be journalists, researchers, teachers, designers, engineers and more. They aim to change the world in a wide variety of fields with diverse skills sets they honed in the classrooms of the George Washington University. How can GW prepare you to make an impact? This smacks of the Eton/Oxford elite who control so much of the world, including the EU, Britain, and the US. It is noteworthy that they are strong supporters of him. I see that the US is moving heavy mobile weapons into Columbia, and this is probably to assist in the removal of Maduro, and the suppression of a Venezuelan version of the gilet jaune movement.

I'm getting interested inthe way that the order book is used to manipulate the price of Bitcoin. An animation or 3d chart would be useful, especially if it could be associated with a candle graph.do you think this would be interesting, and how can I display this information?

I use the Brave browser, and I've got a condom on my mouse - it keeps the tomato ketchup off it's balls when I am using the WiFi in McDonalds.

Another is that, unfortunately, Bitcoin has still not fulfilled its promise to be a usable currency.
In my opinion, Bitcoin was not created to be a usable currency. The block generation interval, and the 21 million cap, were obviously included to prevent this. It has become a wonderful store of wealth, and a means of asset transfer and payment. The Lightning network is probably an unplanned innovation, and allows it to become the security for a more general fast payment service, but this is still a form of banking. The growth of the Lightning network is one of the things that should be contributing to a rise in price.

Now now boys. Theymos has made the changes to the DT system to allow us to mould it. Can we try to do this, instead of turning it mouldy before it gets the chance to start sprouting.

Well of course the simple answer is YES, but to whom should it be given. Opinion seems to think that it will be taken by Maduro if he gets it, and Juan Guaidó is an American puppet introduced to create a regime change to favour the US. If Guaidó gets it, then some people think it will disappear in the same way that the Libyan bank deposits vanished after the removal of Gaddafi.
I'll go out on a limb, and say that the gold should only be returned when a true democratically elected president is in power, and the money can be used to help rebuild the economy. It is an important asset for Venezuela, and it shouldn't be allowed to fall into the hands of the banking elite.

I'm interested in the opinions of people who are new to Bitcoin, so I have started this thread with the potential to gain merits.
The price of Bitcoin is dropping at the moment, and it looks as if it is likely to drop even further. This is contrary to the Bitcoin fundamentals, which have never looked so strong to me. The hash rate, Lightning network use is increasing, the number of addresses are increasing, and there are numerous other indicators. Although my main interest is the opinions of newer Bitcoin users, as they may reflect current public opinion, I'd also welcome the opinions of more experienced Bitcoiners.
You can also speculate about the turning point of the Bitcoin price. There seems to be a wide variety of estimates about the time and level of this reversal. I've started this thread in the beginners board, because I think it is important that newcomers to Bitcoin understand some of the factors that influence crypto prices in this volatile market.

Are you conspiring to ignore TMAN?
Who is this TMAN everybody keeps talking about? I thought that computer forums should have coffee men. And then there is that larda character - shouldn't we be talking about Lambos?

I don't think most of them care - they just want to pump out voluminous looking posts. but don't quote me on that. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

As I have posted many times, I am prone to put people on ignore for excessive quoting.
