Honestly the big issue here is that Cryptsy is supporting XPY more than any other exchange by owning a PC. Obviously XPY was a scam from the start, but I do not blame you guys for profiting from it like GAW did. Suckers get taken in some way or another...that is just how it works. Cryptsy should at a minimum ditch the PC and carry on. We all know that you will not de-list a coin that makes you profit (regardless of it being a scam or not). BitJohn - You do handle being trolled very well As of the moment its either going to be daily payouts to active users every 24 hours like our rebate program, or we will destroy it. The destroy option is in discussion as to if it can be done without just giving it back. Told you I like a good trolling lol. The problem is you guys owning it regardless if you burn coins or hand them out. What other coin gives Cryptsy free coins to just hand out? Obviously if you guys keep the PC you are tied to XPY more than you should be. Just publicly hand it back to who ever gave you it...problem solved. The coin will just keep dropping in value anyways so why bother owning that PC?

If it was "without you noticing", you wouldn't be posting this thread He said with you noticing...not without him. Same thing they do on BTCJam they call it "reputation building loans". I guess it is an easy way to build trust rather than via selling or escrowing etc... I noticed that when I was doing loans the people I lent were very concerned about me leaving feedback for them. Building a reputation here is not really an easy task, but most people really do not need one unless they trade here. I do understand why people want lots of green next to their name though as it does provide some benefits.

I voted destroy it and de-list XPY. No matter what that coin is tainted and needs to go away. Polls are not reliable so not sure the point in this.

Why is everyone in such a rush for this new forum anyways? No matter what a chunk of users will be complaining either way I guess. Personally I am fine with just using the forums as-is

Thanks for the replies...I would not be buying a huge amount maybe 5-10 BTC worth just to see how it does long term. The only real negative I am seeing is that Icebreaker likes this coin, but I can look past that I guess I will just slowly buy off Poloneix to spread my buying price out.

12.5BTC for everything listed with UPS shipping included (shipped via pallet/crate). - USA only @ that price (I will insure for the full value also)

I was considering buying some Monero with the prices falling recently, but do not like that it only trades on 1 exchange. Do you guys know if any other exchanges are planning to add XMR any time soon? Currently 100% of my crypto holdings are in Bitcoin, and I was wanting to speculate just for the hell of it. Maybe I should hit up fluffy for an OTC trade or something..
FYI I am not a day trader...so I would be buying and HODLing.

I find them to be entertaining with all of the scams and shilling. Alts maybe be useless as currency at this point, but they make an excellent testing ground for new ideas. Once/if Bitcoin ever takes off then alts will probably become pretty useful.

Well I used my vouch code this morning and it worked just fine. Going to purchase a $50 code...will reply back later.

Looks like Cryptsy will do the right thing with a little help from the community. If they do give back that Prime and delist that scam coin...all is forgiven I would assume.

I thought you were part of this scam...you switched sides now? I have not been following this all that close so forgive my lack of following this.
Copy and paste the horizontal lines in my signature. He wanted to be with the cool kids at the Bad Table in the lunchroom.
I thought this was the troll table? Sorry I have signatures blocked so I do not see them. I looked back and see you are anti GAW so ignore my question.

Isn't the key way too long to be for an address?
This is a good point and I would need to look into the code now to confirm or deny this. Good possible that you will only see a fraction of the wallet balance after importing the priv keys.
According to research someone (Daffy?) did a while ago the PC keys are not XPY addresses. They are private keys supplied to the wallet daemon via command line or config file and allow any address in that wallet to stake at the higher rate. That's all. No minimum balance requirement or anything like that. So the key is a secret identifier like an ID string not a wallet address? I thought you were part of this scam...you switched sides now? I have not been following this all that close so forgive my lack of following this.
