3221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 29, 2022, 05:31:36 AM
Bounties before 2019 were great to work for because of the amount of money you can make from them. Now apart from a few most of them are a waste of time. You work for a month or more and you do not even make $50 from them. The last bounty that I joined was for atomic wallet and the amount that I made at that time was far better than what you can make now. It has now become the cheapest way for projects to promote themselves on social media and also on BTT.

Rohit as captain and KL Rahul as vice-captain all matches are being played in India gives a little more edge to the Indian team. India's performance in the previous tournament was pathetic but that does not mean the team will repeat the same in this tournament too. Kuldeep is back after his knee surgery he will be part of the bowling attack not sure how effective he will be and Washington sunder might be a good choice as he is an all-rounder

Don't understand why KL Rahul is once again picked up as the vice captain, after his pathetic performance in South Africa. He is not exactly captain material. Ideally the chance should be given to some of the younger players like Rishabh Pant or Shreyas Iyer, so that they could replace Rohit once he retires in 2 years or so. Rahul is definitely a bad choice and he has performed poorly as a captain both in the IPL and international competitions. Anyway I am glad that unproductive players like Hardick are finally kicked out of the team.

Washington Sundar I assume is a replacement of Hardik Pandya. KL Rahul I guess has been given another chance by the BCCI, they want him to learn from Rohit and take his place in the future. They could have given other young talent a chance but I guess they want to try this guy more. He was captaining earlier the Punjab team in IPL and is now the captain of the new Lucknow franchise there is something in him that I assume we do not know  Grin

The all important quarterfinal has started in the under 19 world cup between Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan has won the toss and asked the Australians to bat first. Although they made the right choice but Australians are playing very well and have made 58 runs without any wicket. If this continues. then I am afraid, it will be hard for us to chase down big target.

Also I am getting scores of this match through the internet because the local sports TV channels are busy showing the matches of PSL.
A very good toss won by Pakistan but no Australia is on good hold with Teague Wyllie on crease very good event for this youngster 67 on 92 and in tournament 260 with average of 260 really amazing. Australia is in 36th over and scoreboard showing 164/1 now Pakistan need few wickets if they want alive in this match otherwise any score above 280+ can give them good pressure and Australia can advance into semi-final of this mega event where England and Afghanistan already have places and now remaining teams looking for their spots.

Last quarter-final will be play between India vs Bangladesh which is easy win for India as they have very good bowling and batting, Bangladesh is currently not good enough for having spot in semi-final.

A very disappointing performance by U-19 team Pakistan in the quarter final. In chase of 276 runs, they are 6 down for only 97 runs. They were unbeaten in the group stages but on this crucial occasion, they are unable to control their emotions and most probably will lost this match and will be out of the competition. This is where the big match pressure comes into play and the under 19 team need more exposure to handle the pressure.
This is no surprise, because we can't predict the game. More unpredicted results have come. Sri Lanka too is undefeated in the group matches, but it has lost to Afghanistan by 4 runs in yesterday's match. In this tournament it is able to see the better performance of every country. Not only the top order teams, but the bottom teams too doing good giving unexpected results. In tomorrow's match India is playing Bangladesh. We don't know what's going to be the result, because India stands undefeated on the group matches. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Australia were far better than Pakistan in the quarter-finals. Pakistan problem was mainly its batting, they bowled well to restrict the Australian side to 276 runs but were not able to chase it. Today India will be playing with Bangladesh. India is placed on the top spot in Group B in the points table whereas  Bangladesh is placed second in Group A in the point table. Toss will be crucial as the team that bats first has more chance of wining it seems.

Indian squad for upcoming Ind vs WI series. (Feb 6- Feb 20)

-Rohit is back as Captain, interestingly KL his new deputy.
-Bumrah, Shami rested
-Jadeja is unavailable, still recovering
-Ashwin is ruled out for 1.5 month due to injury, he's going to miss out test series against SL as well.
-Kuldeep and Washi are back in the squad after long time.
West Indies are playing like crap across all formats while India were comfortably defeated by South Africa recently which implies that both teams aren't in the best state right now though I still feel that India will easily win overall.

Good to see Rohit back as the captain. Also, Prasidh and Siraj are the key Indian players to look out for in my opinion.

Right now we have one of most excited ODI in CWC U19 between Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka in this match Sri Lanka was hot favourite for win but right now situation is very interesting as Afghanistan bowled out for just 134 and Sri Lanka while chasing this very small total were 43/7 I was feeling very easy win for Afghanistan but suddenly Captain Dunith Wellalage and Raveen de Silva done historic job for their country and have stand of 69 runs as many were feeling now Sri Lanka is going to win we have another twist and Afghanistan take 2 wickets now Sri Lanka need only 19 runs on 45 balls and last pair is on crease what a classic match between the giants from Asia.
Afganistan is performing really well in this tournament, they defeated Srilanka by just 4 runs. It was a very close match and the Afghan team won because of their bowling and fielding. Today we have another interesting match between Australia and Pakistan.
3226  Local / India / Re: Police Investigation in India Indicates Link Between Crypto Hack and Hamas on: January 28, 2022, 02:22:37 AM
This is really dangerous, this indicates how easily can you be hacked and your hard-earned funds can be stolen from you just by the click of any suspicious link. And then you can be directly linked to any terrorist organization in the world. This guy had a large amount so went to the police but think if you had a smaller amount and you decide not to involve the police as they won't be able to help recover the money back. Whenever the government would find out your address they will easily declare you as a terrorist who is transferring funds to terrorist organizations in a suspicious manner. We should take care not to click any such links from our phones and report such incidences to prove our innocence.

I think the major fault here is with this individual who lost his money. I am sure this individual might have kept his crypto assets in a hot wallet and it has been always advised to use a cold wallet if the fiat value of crypto assets is so big. Once lost you cannot recover your crypto asset unless the individual who stole it sends it back which will never happen.

~snip~

@JSRAW I just read the opposite report about Australian Player’s not being comfortable about touring Pakistan, and this shows that there’s a high possibility of them backing out when the time comes. Furthermore if they sent their B team, then it’ll definitely hurt Pakistan citizen’s who’re expecting Australia’s best player’s to come.
I heard about this bomb blast as well, which is not good sign but at the same time i'm optimistic about this tour. Last i read, CA want all tests to be schedule in single venue for security reason. I don't know if its feasible solution considering no stadium is able to host 3 back to back tests because of pitch conditions, unless they have 5-6 quality pitches on the ground.
It the location is under target, then it isn't good to tour. Pakistan people will be with much expectation to host the series in the home country after a long. However it is very important to take care of life. As said in a quote if the players are ready to play the the tournament won't get cancelled, But players won't have such a mind. Also this will not let the players have their natural game. So, it is good to have a common location out of the country if scenario isn't supportive.
The situation again is slowly turning to worst in some cities of Pakistan but that doesn't mean visiting players will not get security. I remember whenever their is an international cricketing tournament organized in Pakistan they tend to close the location for that number of days and they do provide double layer of security. Still if such bombing news become frequent then Australia might think again.
3228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When Will Amazon (AMZN) Accept Bitcoin? on: January 27, 2022, 08:29:08 AM
I am not sure about Bitcoin but if this news is correct then Amazon might be considering to accept SHIBA INU for payment. You can read this news here - https://watcher.guru/news/amazon-to-accept-shiba-inu-as-payment-shib-alike-dog-seen-on-amazon-day-page

This might be a coincidence but if it actually happens then this meme coin might rule the market in 2022.

Rather than news, I would call it a rumor. And, in fact, if you look at the headline, it only talks about considering and it does so in a question. It's the only source that talks about it (other than reddit, which uses that same source).

There have been so many rumors on the subject, that without more data or more sources there is little chance of it being true.

Yes, I know that it was a rumour but it was effective for the meme coin as the price appreciated by more than 25% on that day. In my opinion, amazon would not accept any cryptocurrencies in the future too as the problem they will face is in converting cryptos to fiat as countries, where they are operating, have different laws for conversion of crypto to fiat. Bitpay provides a solution here as it enables anyone to make a purchase on Amazon using Bitcoin.
3229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan Creators Launch Blockscan Chat on: January 27, 2022, 07:54:30 AM
Can you say that it's an alternative to Telegram or Messenger? Or any messaging service that is native to the blockchain application? Isn't this already the step towards the messaging platform you are talking about?

This is interesting, but I'm worried this will be abused to scam people. Hopefully, people are already vigilant with their surroundings and make intelligent decisions by that time.

It cannot be an alternative to Telegram or Discord. This is completely different to them the only benefit I can assume is more anonymity as it is wallet based and confidence to another user as they know whom they are dealing with. Scammers will easily find a way here too as they can easily send phishing messages which can lure newbies to them.

3230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 26, 2022, 10:28:40 AM
I only know that IPL pays huge money to players and others like BBL, PSL and BPL are no way near to IPL. Overseas players are turning down BBL offers may be because of attitude of Australian players and there backing by CA. I personally don't like how Aussies players behave with foreign players in BBL. Recently M Hasnain faced sledging from Aussie batsman which was fully backed by authorities.

I don't exactly know what happened to Hasnain, but these sort of incidents are reported from Australia very frequently. On top of that, Australia is in news recently for all the wrong reasons. We all know what happened to Novak Djokovic. All this, combined with lower player salaries and extended window makes BBL less attractive to the overseas players when compared to the other franchise T20 leagues such as the Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League and the Carribian Premier League.

I think the Djokovic incident may be a big factor in this case.
But overall the Australian Govt are strictly following the protocols of COVID which could also be a reason.

Another thing is that so many T20 leagues are being held at the same time period. And As BBL has a lower salary count, overseas players are attracted to other leagues such as IPL, BPL, or PSL because, at the end of the day, money does matter a lot.

IPL gives more payments to players than any other league. This is the reason why IPL has more celebrity players than any other league. The problem now is that there are more league cricket matches and fewer big players to play them. I see here more opportunities for new talent to prove themselves by joining small leagues. Australia is known for sledging activities there is nothing new about it. I am not sure what happened to Hasnain but I do not think it was fully backed by authorities
3231  Local / India / Re: Crypto Ad you would not like to see is spreading across India! on: January 26, 2022, 10:19:44 AM
There are so many altcoins spreading the false news that the Bitcoin train has already left. It hasn't yet. Nobody is missing Bitcoin. I believe that even at $46,000, Bitcoin is still a good buy and anybody who wishes to hop on board today is not yet late. They're maybe late if they compare themselves with those who bought at $1 or $10 but the bigger population of the world has not yet even considered buying. Buying today means a lot years and decades from now.
Shocked

It's more psychological for those people when they see 1BTC is $46000 and the hope that 1 Floki could also turn into $1. They won't realize that even Shib Inu had been promoted widely that Coinbase added the token had not even reached a price of $0.01.

The ad is misleading people to pump and dump tokens but I would look at it in a good way because after this, the victims will have the chance to learn. What really matters in crypto, they could either learn to ride the pump and dump tokens or simply find their way to really analyze the BTC market and trade.

It depends. There is also the possibility that by losing money, by becoming victims of these specific cryptocurrencies, they will generalize and leave crypto altogether. There have been such cases. They're disappointed with their early or newbie crypto experiences so much so that they didn't come back to crypto anymore after their traumatic experience. That is why these types of marketing is wrong especially if they are targeted at newbies. Newbies should better study what crypto really is before jumping immediately into making investments.

While the government of India is still in discussion about presenting the crypto bills shit tokens are trying to use this time to get pumped by advertising openly. I guess this is the first crypto project that has been advertised on an Indian street. I have hardly seen them marketing on any internet platform. I am pretty much sure many Indian might have already invested heavily into it without even knowing what exactly FLOKI is all about.
3232  Local / India / Re: Police Investigation in India Indicates Link Between Crypto Hack and Hamas on: January 25, 2022, 12:11:35 PM
Hamas is a designated terrorist organisation and such activities they have been doing when cryptocurrency did not existed. Unless the owner of a wallet does mistake it is not that easy for anyone to hack a wallet. This is why people need to be first educated about cryptocurrency.

I wonder! What kind of money was invested by this businessman which resulted in such a big amount. I am sure the police department knows the answer.
3233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 25, 2022, 12:04:57 PM
Listen, politics is always going to be a big problem in teams like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan.
And it's not going to be changing anytime soon. We have to accept that fact.
And most of the time it doesn't matter who plays better, there is certain favoritism going on in the team selectors' minds.
Agree with you here about this statement because we have no solid domestic setup which bring some natural talent and give better leadership lessons here mostly groups and personal likes and dislikes have more importance rather than merit and good policies handling Kohli issue is very poor from BCCI and now having some big troubles around them for having better replacement is another headache for them, so they need to do things in positive way currently just Rohit Sharma is capable for handling this all KL Rahul is failure in short term, so they need to set him for some time and then bring some better and long term policy for this all otherwise they are going to have bad time in next few months which can hurt them badly.

Right now the best way for BCCI to get out of this situation is to hand over Rohit Sharma the captaincy and maybe in that way India will perform better and these types of talks would be over.
And I do not understand what is up with these boards who seem to be absolutely unable to conduct with players properly.
I think just because Rahul lost the first series under his captaincy does not mean he should be replaced by Rohit Sharma. He should be given another chance. I agree that Rohit Sharma has proven in the past that he can captain the team but it doesn't mean you should chuck someone out as he was not able to win the series. Players are to be blamed as it was the team that lost and not the captain.
3234  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to write articles for 0.0009 BTC( 0.9mbtc) per 500 words. on: January 24, 2022, 01:18:44 PM
Looking to write articles or content for you.
Charging 0.0009 btc (0.9mbtc) per 500 words. Please let me know.

What you are offering is something unrealistic. According to the present market conditions you are offering $30 USD approximately for a 500 words article. So for a 1000 word article you would be offering $60 approximately.

What I want to know is that is this amount in BTC fixed? Another thing that I would like to know is that is this amount already escrowed to a third party wallet before someone starts working for you or the total amount depending on the number of articles you require have been escrowed? As in my opinion the amount you are paying for 500 words sounds too much.

It would be greadt if you add clarity to your post.
3235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 23, 2022, 03:30:52 PM

Dhawan have given good start and the same is being continued by the performance of Kohli. The winning percentage of India has increased to 57% and the next two wickets is much important for South Africa to turn the match towards their side. As of now 138 runs required from 123 balls with 7 wickets left. This looks like a winning match for India.

The game is very much balanced now as India need 120 runs in 17 overs. Good thing for SA is that kohli is gone and India now has 6 wickets left. One or two wicket here may tilt the game towards SA. India need runs and don't wanna lose anymore wicket.
I doubt that India is well poised in this situation. India has already lost 4 wickets and if you remember the previous games this team batting order have collapsed. I am sure it will be the same this time unless someone from the lower middle order does something thing different. After this tournament one thing is sure KL Rahul will lose his job as a captain.

I think BSC is more centralized than Solana. Still people are investing in different projects running on BSC and some have given higher returns. Solana is still in development phase, it hyped because of a few NFT projects. Untill the NFT craze fades away till then you can expect it to pump. At the moment since the whole market is in red therefore the price is falling.
3238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 23, 2022, 05:33:30 AM
There is still a lot of time for the next IPL. By that time, the situation of covid variants will be clear. If the virus is outspread in India at that time, most probably it would be better to delay the IPL rather than to play it without the international players. Secondly, i am not worried if the Indians were not able to play well in this series. They will regain form in the next series for sure.

Right now India as well as most of the other countries are witnessing a huge spike in the number of COVID cases. And if the projections come true, then by the end of next month the spike will end. IPL is scheduled to start by the end of March, so I guess there is enough time for the BCCI to arrange the tournament. But as we have seen on several occasions for the last two years, it is very difficult to predict the course of the pandemic. New waves appear in the horizon whenever there seems to be a lull in the number of new cases.
The increase of COVID cases are experienced all around. Within India slowly the restrictions and Sunday lockdowns were getting importance. There is decline in the cases in some zones whereas to experience a complete relief out of the pandemic won't happen anytime soon. This means people are getting adopted to the pandemic and are moving the life forward. So, this time there is very less chance for the IPL reschedule.
IPL won't get rescheduled this time as the third wave peak is expected to come by February and after that cases will be very less. IPL is scheduled in the month of April by that time things will be very different. This time only few states are reporting COVID cases compared to last time where every state was facing problem. This might be because some states have already achieved 100 percent 1st phase vaccination for the required age group.
3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 23, 2022, 03:09:23 AM
Such leagues are beneficial for players like Gayle, Afridi who retired from international cricket or players who are not playing international cricket for some reason. I can't recall how many leagues are going on right now, this is badly disturbing international cricket. It seems like future lies in these leagues and little room for international cricket.

If fans want to watch international cricket, then no one will stop them. Franchise cricket is gaining ground, because international cricket has become a joke nowadays. Even the recently concluded Ashes series was extremely one-sided and England narrowly escaped from being whitewashed 0-5. In franchise cricket at least we don't get these sort of one-sided matches. If given a choice, I would rather go for the BBL or the BPL, rather than undergoing the torture of going through a Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe or Australia vs Bangladesh match.
By the way England lost another match and this time they lost it from Westindies. England is playing a 5 match T20 tournament with them and they lost the first match. Same problem the English team is unable to bat they only scored 103 runs. Jason holder took 4 wickets in this match for Westindies. This tournament might again turn out to be one-sided.

Why are you focused only with these two? There are better option available in the market. All of them are at a heavy discounted rated in the current bear market. Ripple please do not invest in it as there is a pending case still with SEC. I would also not recommend you to invest in XLM not much happening with this coin too.
