Exactly, there is no guarantee for you to make a big profit when you take a really high risk. It means that you are more likely to lose all or some of your money also. For example, we see DeFi projects in Binance. They carry a big risk and there is just a probability for you to make a high profit.
For me taking only very small risks means leaving the money in a savings account or buying a money market fund. There is no way you going to make a profit. Without risk there is no reward, why would anybody give us a decent interest for free? And all these low risk investment are actually losing money if we factor in inflation. As investors we need to take atleast some risks to make a profit. With bitcoin, i do think this "high risk high reward" statement is quite real because if you can buy a big part of bitcoin then that would mean bigger profit too. I don't think every government is smart enough to know about bitcoin instantly as they did and banning it or at least trying to ban it and only the ignorant people were the victim of this fear caused by the government to panic sell bitcoin and another crypto, and then government buys a chunk or crypto and removes the ban and people cannot complain about it, this is quite retarded and proves the point "A fool is bound to lose the money and continues losing it without learning anything" The extreme steps taken by some of the governments jumping in to ban the entire cryptocurrency market is childish and the reason is because they do not understand the cryptocurrency market and they make their decision from hear say rather than having someone who understands the market. I am hoping that these foolish government would learn from their mistakes and overturn their decisions when the developed world accepts Bitcoin. The government is very clear that they are all against bitcoin and all related crypto activities. Not just because they don't understand it but because they don't want for an uncontrolled currency to prosper and be use by the citizens without their control. No doubts but the first half of the year went extremely well for everyone involved. Bitcoin went up I don't even know how much, but it did so well that there shouldn't be any criticism.
People will always have to say negative thoughts on bitcoin either the market turns into bearish or bullish. So there's no new to it. But seeing how the market react to every negative news around, i think the market is not ready yet for a bullish trend. This bearish season will perhaps be extended and there's no other way to do but to keep hodling. I don't get what you're trying to say but altcoins are not just a copy of the Bitcoin itself some of them have their own unique features and their own utilities. In my opinion there's nothing wrong to invest on both altcoins and Bitcoins, what should be done with altcoins? Nothing. If you don't want or like them then don't buy them and stick with Bitcoin. There's always a freedom in the crypto market. It's either you chose to stay and invest in bitcoin and altcoins or just stick to bitcoin and stay away from altcoins. Neither way, both of them are profitable. Altcoins may be rampant these days because most of the old tokens have succeeded and end up a great value so developers create new altcoins that are also promising to grow in the market. But unfortunately, some of then were not able to sustain their value and end up being undervalued while others have even become dead coins. |
