3241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you worry about not being able to convert BTC to fiat in future on: June 24, 2021, 06:19:00 PM
Straight answer NO, I am not worried. Because still now Bitcoin is ban in my country but it has a huge demand lately in peer to peer market. I don't know exactly what they do with Bitcoin but there is huge buyer and demand in my country. Even sometimes offer more than the legal price if you compare it with the USD price. So don't worry, just try to find a strong peer-to-peer channel. I believe every country has such a group that is trading Bitcoin with fiat. Once you are connected mean nothing to worries. It's a positive motive that you are holding Bitcoin. Safe it for your life, not for a lifetime by the way.

Isn't that advantage for you (Lol), they will do bounty but token will send to your wallet during stake distribution.
It is also possible that campaign manager will detect him as alt account and thus kicking out from the campaign with no rewards. And someday, in future, both the account will be tagged as alt account.
It was kind of fun by the way. Yea, the campaign manager would detect this which would lead to termination from the campaign, and tag them. That's the reason I suggest above notifying the campaign manager in such as case. Isn't that? Sometimes managers too lazy. But yes, OP should take immediate action in such as case to avoid unnecessary harassment. Because alt hunters detect it then OP would be in trouble somehow.
3243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit thread] How has the forum affected your journey in the crypto space? on: June 24, 2021, 06:00:48 PM
Congrats on your achievement. Have you become a Full member by getting merit from other merit giveaway threads? Don't take it negatively, I am asking because just after becoming a Full member you open a topic about merits. Only 5 merits on your hands which would spend within minutes on a good post. So really doesn't necessary to create a merit thread at all. But I always like to see motivational post which would encourage others to make a good post at least. Same here I have learned many things from the forum about crypto-related. On the other hand, I always try to contribute to the forum and the community gives me a great return and the result is I am Legendary here. Hope you will be Legendary some days. Best of luck.

Isn't that advantage for you (Lol), they will do bounty but token will send to your wallet during stake distribution. Hunters are become too lazy nowadays to be honest. It's become a habit just copy paste other. Even they forgot to change wallet address, how funny is that? I have experience people just copy paste social media post on their timeline. Social media campaign just a spam, but don't know why all project interested on that.

Anyway since you share it with the community, I think you are risk free. But your responsibility is to notify campaign manager. So that they can take appropriate action against these spammers.
3245  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency Payment Processor? on: June 23, 2021, 08:04:21 PM
How about using Third-party hosting for BTCPAYSERVER? Although you have to trust the server owner, I feel it's better than using a custodial web wallet payment processor. I think using third-party hosting BTCPAYSERVER doesn't require much skill. Just make sure you aren't sharing your private keys with anyone including server owners and make sure private keys weren't pre-generated as well. Just try to choose a trusted server, get help from the community if necessary.
3246  Other / Meta / Re: NotATether merit source application (development and technical discussion board) on: June 23, 2021, 07:28:31 PM
The reply is to support your application. If I am not wrong the theymos hadn't added merit sources for a long time. But users of the forum increasing rapidly, so I feel we need more merit sources to increase merit circulation here. I can't recall exactly how long I have waited before become a merit source but I think more than 6 months. If you are lucky then you would become quickly, otherwise, you have to wait but not sure how long. There are more few new merit source applicants and I believe a few applicants really deserve it to serve the forum. Anyway, I hope the admin will consider that upon notice of your application.

Best of luck.
3247  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: elon-charity.info | Bitcoin doubler scam. on: June 23, 2021, 07:15:46 PM
How easy to scam innocent people just by getting advantage of Facebook ads. Just discovered another domain name that has been using the same script as above by changing the domain name.
Code:
 https://tesla.giveaway.maaoru.com
Most probably now they have been starting using subdomain instead of buying a new domain. Save yourself guys, don't all in Facebook ads.
3248  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Trust wallet stealing seed phrase. on: June 23, 2021, 08:47:22 AM
Here is another pushing domain (Don't click)
Code:
 https://trust-shiba.art
The scammer has been using the same script as usual by changing the domain name. During browse Facebook, today discover this phishing site where scammers asking for seed phrase clearly. Guys, please don't be greedy and save your funds. Sharing your wallet credentials with a third party means you are going to lose everything that belong to that wallet.
3249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As I am newcomer here! So need your little advice? on: June 22, 2021, 06:24:30 PM
I think OP was introduced with the forum wrongly. It's because many times OP mentions 'works', I am not sure what exactly mean about it. The forum isn't any working place anyway. It's a crypto discussion forum from where we can learn about cryptocurrency by discussing each other. Your motive for joining the forum shouldn't work here. Just don't make things complicated.

First of all please learn to use the search button from where you may get a lot of your desired answers. So it will help you to learn quickly and also it will reduce unnecessary discussions. The forum is friendly enough to help you since forum users are very helpful. Just try to engage with the constructive discussion.
3250  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a good time for bitcoin on: June 22, 2021, 06:08:58 PM
It's not an easy task to determine either it's a good time for Bitcoin or a bad time. Bitcoin dropped $3K from $19K in a previous bull run in 2017. So it's not impossible to drop more. That's the reason why it's very hard to say. As we can see institutional investors accumulating more Bitcoin in every dip. Although we can't compare ourselves with institutional investors, but it would be a reason why the current time is good for Bitcoin. No one imagined Bitcoin will break $60K within this short time. And it's not hard as well to break ATH again. But for me, it's a good time to accumulate more. It's because we don't know what would be the exact dip from where Bitcoin will bounce back. It's time to take a rank that you can afford.
3251  Economy / Scam Accusations / Solidium Trade | Ponzi Scheme | Scam on: June 22, 2021, 01:12:37 PM
Website: https://solidiumtrade.com
Archived: https://archive.is/QKwu0
What happened: Ponzi Scheme

Discover a site called Solidium Trade that has been offering trading plans for others. This means if you want to trade via this website then you have to make deposits and scammers will trade for you. Seems they are giving a profit guarantee of up to 15% daily. They are offering profits from various trading platforms like cryptocurrency, stock trading, metal, and gold trading. I doubt even scammers familiar with these kinds of trading. They mentioned running days 1127 on the website. But the website age is 4 months which has created on 2021-02-08. So it's a clear scam, I don't think we need more explanation at all.

3252  Other / Archival / Re: @amazonsess_sell telegram name is same like mine Remi Guile on: June 21, 2021, 06:12:48 PM
Thanks for sharing it with the community. Many users including well-reputed members of this forum encounter this kind of impersonator. A few days back a scammer annoyance me by creating a fake Telegram. Although everyone should verify real users via forum and it's their responsibility before dealing off forum but I feel sorry when someone gets scam this way. Scammers take advantage of the forum reputation on Telegram by impersonating. Since you have shared it with the community hope it will help to reduce scam attempt.
3253  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: elon-charity.info | Bitcoin doubler scam. on: June 21, 2021, 03:10:04 PM
Found another domain name with the same script: https://spacexwindoge.cf
During browse Facebook, the ads just pop up on my screen. Facebook just does not turn cryptocurrency advertisements, it just opens the door for scammers to scam us easily. However, rather than blame Facebook or Google we should be careful. Our funds in our hands, they can't scam us if we do not hand over ourselves. Just need to use our brain and control greed.
3254  Economy / Services / Re: Investment trading platform XX Platform is looking for employees and partners on: June 21, 2021, 02:47:01 PM
I am a little curious about your investment platform. Seems there is a return on investment of more than 9%. So I am curious how it works and how reinvestment works. Is it real cryptocurrency or Pyramid as you said on your website? If I am not wrong most probably you are looking for marketing employees to work with you since you are looking to develop a community of cryptocurrency investors.

By the way, I am just expecting an answer about how return on investment works in your platform.
3255  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: atrad.io Scam? on: June 21, 2021, 02:20:17 PM
I never heard before about that site, and seems this is a scam site to me. It hasn't discussed the forum because any scam detector hadn't found it. The site itself warn their users. Upon opening this site there is a red warning with BOLD character.
Quote
To celebrate our outstanding performance in May, invest in June and we will double the interest on your first deposit!
Isn't that a warning? I think so. It means if you invest in June then your fund is gone forever. Whoever promises double return in investment within months simply is a scam. I don't think we need further investigation, it's just a waste of time IMO. Just avoid this and stay safe.
3256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best way to stor eth in the Trezor wallet? on: June 20, 2021, 06:40:09 PM
I won't encourage you to use the beta version although it's working fine. Beta means it's testing mode, so there is the possibility of existing bugs. If your fund is big then I will encourage you to buy a hardware device rather than using any wallet software or web wallet either it's created by Trezor or Ledger. Just secure your funds from hackers. If wallet software or web wallet was much secure then there wasn't necessary to discover hardware wallet. So the safest way is to use a hardware wallet.
3257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ledger customer data breach aftermath, a sophisticated scam on: June 20, 2021, 06:31:50 PM
These are very possible reasons explained by @mk4. This is just the outcome of a data leak from Ledger. It's pretty obvious scammers just send a fake Ledger or device with pre-generated seeds. But the higher chance is device was fake. Whatever seed stored there is just fake IMO. No doubts it's a costly scam attempt at all, I think scammers sent that fake device to many. So someone would fall into that trap. For me, I won't use any device that I hadn't order from the official store of Ledger. Everyone should avoid such scam attempts.
3258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be the biggest bubble economy in history? on: June 20, 2021, 03:28:35 AM
Getting an honest review about Bitcoin from Bitcointalk is quite complicated. To be honest, we love Bitcoin, so once we love someone we believe them blindly. That's true. Listen, Bitcoin is backed by the community, not by any centralized organization, so you can't expect a sudden crash for Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin much popular due to high volatility, so pump and dump will happen always. It wouldn't consider as a bubble since we can see Bitcoin always recover from the previous position some days. The bubble has an end, but for Bitcoin, I don't think it will end. Either it would upgrade, or exist the same as it is.
3259  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Does more seed words equal better security? on: June 20, 2021, 03:15:03 AM
I am not much experienced, but I can't see many benefits to extend the seed phrase. Because a powerful computing system will reverse the hash calculation and at the end, the same thing will happen, it could calculate long seed as well. If a powerful computing system could reverse current seed & hash calculations then it would do even you extend the seed. The main fact is hash calculations, if it could calculate then most likely extended seed wouldn't save our funds.
3260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Discussion] How to work of Signature Camping is performed.? on: June 19, 2021, 06:34:19 PM
I am a little confused, are you want to sponsor a signature campaign or do you want to be a signature campaign participant? Because you made two questions, one about managing campaigns another is how campaign posts work. As a campaign manager, I take the works from the companies by communicating with them. We fixed pay rates and manager's fees as well. After we agree with both parties about campaign terms and conditions then start run a campaign. Sometimes companies ask where to make a post or where not to post, so managers have to follow the company's requirements, of course, I write all the rules in the campaign thread which is open for all the participants. Eventually, I select desired participants who applied to get in. I monitor them during the campaign and count the post accordingly, payment held based on post count. I escrowed campaign funds with me although all managers do not manage campaigns the same way. We would manage campaigns without escrow funds only for high reputed companies. That's how I manage the signature campaign. Hope you got both of your answers.
