3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I predicted Chainlink, Pancake and many others right. Heres my new prediction on: November 13, 2022, 07:46:53 PM
My prediction is Modefi...

I have to say i was ready to start with the fact anyone can say that they predicted anything but if they don't have history to prove for or against it, it probably just indicates that they lied about it. How ever i looked at Modefy and i was going to debunk your hype. But funny enough i started to listen their ama just to be thorough, and i was surprised that i liked what i heard. Fundamentals aren't bad.

Now i am slowly getting more info and if i don't find red flags i am actually buying little of it. Once in the blue moon someone wasn't totally trolling with an utter garbage shitcoin and that got me off guard. So, thanks i guess.

Borish johnson uk priminester and off course second one donald trump they dont let world go in mess but other leaders will drive world into mess.
If uk boris and usa trump will create ally will join then all the mess can be fixed
Also boris was and still is best for uk and uk people know this
Same goes for trump
What about other countries?
Well they are creating a mess but trump and jonshon are quite good
You must be kidding. Being so vague makes me think that you don't know what's been done under their leadership versus leadership of others. But that doesn't surprise me at all as truth or knowledge doesn't matter to this kind of Qanon-like attitude. Problem is that people who fell for Trump don't trust any media or scientist consensus, but they blindly trust other people that don't trust media or scientists either. This creates an opportunity for some people to lead these people and earn money feeding misinformation and use them.

And ironically they call people who criticize them "sheep".
3243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people withdraw their generosity during crisis? on: November 13, 2022, 05:15:23 PM
In life, we all battling with uncertain behaviour, that one will wonder why certain characters occur when one needs a helping hand most. we are facing some difficulties in our communities and families, and the people you think will assist you to sort things out seems to be the ones to disappoint you.its seems to me that person don't value life, they shows concerns only when people  are celebrating and withdraw when things goes wrong. Such life should be discourage in the society.  We should not only show up when things are working, we should always stand in good and bad time.
I am not sure what you mean about this. People are often known to help each other during crisis and have a feeling of unity.

People here in Finland were quite polarized just few whiile ago. After Russia attacked Ukraine everyone wanted to help, they volunteered in lots of things and people united for Ukraine, and against Putin no matter which political party you were member of. Now we are saving energy and consider it as their humanitarian duty to help with the energy crisis. Cities have ordered to save energy in the winter and they are happy to do so.

If a green party would have suggested saving energy while ago and set up mandatory rules for cities, people would have lost their minds. But because the crisis is imminent, we don't even think twice about it.

Here's a study to read: People supporting each other during pandemic crisis

I don't know what you call a regulator precisely but in my country, no authority tracks and flags citizen wallets, it would be illegal. Police can investigate when a crime has been committed thanks to crypto funds but can't say to anyone, this address is dirty we forbid you to receive funds that went through it one day. So I'm not afraid by that personally, but maybe in some authoritarian countries things are different.
Illegal? I am not sure where you live but if that's not some tax haven with loose regulations you might want to google FATF travel rule, so far 39 countries are part of it and AML laws have been only getting tougher every year.

Anyway I hope only a minority of people will have the same ideas as you and will be afraid by this kind of things, because it would be sad to conclude that decentralized platforms don't deserve to get the same success as less trustworthy ones.
AML laws are not my idea, i am just following public announcements on what coming so i can prepare better. And obviously they can't shut down fully decentralized casinos as long as they don't have any element of centralization. But i was merely talking about tracking the funds.
So far casinos seem to have way less regulations as they don't need an exchange license and i haven't yet seen any info on how FATF would deal with money coming trough fully decentralized casinos, but one doesn't need much imagination if you had read about the travel rule that most platforms have prepared for a long time now.

Every businessman want whales to come to their platform but they cannot make that if they don't have solid community so building up first the community and see how fair they are can attract huge number of players including those whales which can spend a lot of money just to play the game. For sure whales will not play on casino if they don't see any huge activities coming happening on the platform. Also I believe they are truly aware about those KYC so for sure they are selective on reputation before going in so I believe this is not main issue to them.
This depends, there are ton of ways to lure whales in. One certainly is to give them tokens that pay dividends. But i am pretty sure that they also get private deals where casinos are giving them huge (even unofficial) cashbacks just to play there. That's what i would do anyway.

I personally trust casinos more if whales are playing there. Because if they trust it, changes are that i can too. So i think it's other way around too; whales draw regular people in.
3246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is about to pump on: November 13, 2022, 12:31:56 PM
Technical analysis if you use them in stock market maybe it will work but in crypto I believe it is useless.
If you don't trust the idea of TA that's ok, there are ton of people not believing you can predict anything from that. But in theory same idea of probability applies to all markets that are mature enough. People are using it for newer assets then bitcoin or eth.

I would like to ask if there is any analyst who can analyze the drop of bitcoin or FTT token in the last crash? I'm sure no one can guess.
I am not sure if you followed my link as i gave a link to a person who literally did that.

It's funny when someone says that by looking at the chart they can tell that bitcoin is going to drop to that level. If the prediction is so simple, why don't they just sell their house and invest it all in bitcoin? He will get rich quick instead of giving analysis to other people and telling them to buy.
Because they DON'T know it. It's based on probability, and it's a low one. You wouldn't bet your house when you are gambling on sports, even if the odds are good.

Flagged by who precisely?
Flagged by regulators and organizations who track stolen etc.

It would be really sad to see one crypto exchange flagging wallets just because they've used a decentralized service while cryptos have been designed for that purpose and I wouldn't want to use anymore an exchange like that.
Wallets are not going to be flagged just because they use DEX and many DEXes like uniswap are blacklisting some ip addresses, making then not "fully" decentralized and that's why i was talking about "fully decentralized" casinos here. Every exchange dealing with fiat pairs needs to complying with regulators so i guess you won't be using any of them if you want to opt out from this. This isn't really in full effect yet, but things are going to be more. But what comes to purpose of cryptos vs regulators, it needs a whole another thread.

Anyway I don't know if it's so easy to track those transactions on the Polygon network(it would be interesting to test it) but an easy way to circumvent that would be to dedicate a wallet/set of addresses to this purpose and to isolate them from your other transactions. If you need your funds for something else you can use a swapping service to convert them into another crypto from another blockchain/network before sending them to an exchange or a merchant.
Tracking stolen crypto is a growing business and there will be more of those services in the future, easier to access, more efficient and cheaper because competition grows. If you have been following the trend of exchanges getting rid of untraceable coins. You'll see that they are complying with regulators already. Things are just moving slowly.

But i am suggesting that we continue talk about casinos instead of CEX/DEX, as we are in gambling section. Or make a new thread about those in elsewhere.

Any clarification will be appreciated.

Where have you been trading exactly? Because it doesn't seem like you are familiar of Buy and Sell wall liquidity. Without knowing about liquidity too your examples are just random numbers as everything about that is based on liquidity of those buy and sell walls. Also volume can be faked without liquidity at least in CEX:es but that's another story.

Technique you are describing artificially manipulating price by owning most of the coins is often used in pump & dump scams, that's outlawed in many regulated exchanges and can get your account frozen.

If you indeed are not familiar with the concept here's some reading https://phemex.com/academy/what-are-buy-walls-and-sell-walls
3249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can FTX Token Beat Its All-time High Of $100? on: November 13, 2022, 09:52:20 AM
Assuming CZ will sell the entire $500 million of FTT, this would cause some serious dumping but it wouldn't kill or destroy FTX if they didn't have the problem in the first place. This is not a show of power by CZ, the problem is that FTX used investors' money shady leading to the company's trouble and it only takes one more slight impact and they will collapse.
Although the crash has an impact on the market, it should happen now, it shouldn't be painful later, the wound will be much bigger.
At this point it wouldn't even matter. At the time of that tweet, week ago, those FTT's were worth $500M and FTT was worth $23. Currently FTT is worth $1.9 so it has dropped -93% making those $500M meant to dump worth $35M to dump. But most likely for the fundamental analysis it will just drop more before they can sell even that.

Edit: At the time it took to write this, it dumped another 5%. Not going to fix the numbers because it would probably just drop more

Yes moreover, they haven't made an official announcement yet AFAIK but their new decentralized sportsbook with lay betting feature seems to be already open!
It's available there https://xfun.bet and it is just awesome!  Cool Fast, smooth and neat. You need to connect a (xFUN) wallet and your funds are sent and received directly from it without being stored by the bookie and thus without any risks of being locked/stolen.
In addition you can place normal bets (back bets) or offering bets at the odds you decide (lay bets) like on betting exchanges.
That looks really sleek, however i've been wondering that haven't people followed what regulators are up to? You know, FATF new rules, and problem with unverified source of origin. Maybe i am paranoid but i would be worried to use any fully decentralized services as they are not accountable to regulators. This would mean that my wallets might get flagged because of aml laws if someone would use that site for money laundering. And they probably will as nothing is stopping them.
3251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is about to pump on: November 12, 2022, 10:36:34 PM
Instead of trusting the random social media users, I prefer reading expert analysts and compare data to draw image on my mind. This is not bottom, there is a room for BTC price to drop further and my close prediction is $12k support level. In case of breaking this mentioned support price line on chart, market can even crash down below $10k,IMHO.
I don't "trust" any TA, that would be weird as it's just matter of probability, I just review their earlier data. And this guy/girl was spot on predicting the crash. I followed him before the crash as he had predicted something else. Right now i can't recall what but you can review his history as everything is transparent.

I know that the amount of dividends you get is lower as there are more and more tokens getting mined everyday. That's why I try to play everyday to get some more tokens so your daily dividends stays the same. They already have a monthly burning program and every time when they do it, the dividends are higher the next couple of days.

And you see the obvious problem in this in a long run; They have burned the tokens from the start but not enough. You have to use all your dividends just to keep up not losing your dividends. It doesn't really require complicated math that at any point you are better of selling your tokens. Unless they fix that tokenomics game theory somehow and you have hit the gold mine. I personally wasn't going to wait for that and sold.

Occasionally i still play for fun in there but not because i want BFG tokens.
3253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEW🔮ZKasino.io | Fully decentralized casino | $10.000 🎁away | 0.6% | NO KYC on: November 12, 2022, 10:23:55 PM
Been skeptical about casino which promising a KYC free site and also telling that they are tolerating multi accounts because its like they might allow abuse or use that to attract number of users then plan bad exit in long run. But also same as you I do hope they will serve here for long time because if they can able to run successfully and still will not ask Kyc to their players then maybe this is the best place for people doesn't like to submit their KYC details.
As they are totally decentralized and won't use fiat ramp, it's totally possible to build such a thing with just smart contracts. Only thing we have to worry about is how secure those smart contracts are. Because it wouldn't be first time that people would exploit those and drain wallets.

But as far as i can see they seem to have pretty transparent approach when you look at docs https://docs.zkasino.io/

The benefit of having some BFG tokens is that you are getting daily dividends which is always nice. It might not be a big amount but it all adds up nicely. If you play with your dividends, you can earn even more tokens and thus more dividends  Smiley.

Problem with this is that because of inflation of BFG dividends you get are getting smaller and smaller, so you can't really calculate how much profit you would do. If you play with your dividends you might get same amount of dividends, but that's really counteractive. I really wish the amount of dividends stayed same. The amount mined would be amount burned. But i guess designing that kind of system would be hard.

I thought i was certain that i was betting something that's happening in 12th Nov. 2022, but now i am uncertain because i didn't seem to get any money and bet still shows as active.

It really looks like i match was over and i won. I am confused. How long does it usually takes for me to get my money from that. I thought it would be instant.

Edit: Never mind, i got my money, it was just a lag and everything is ok.

When you think about it in long term, do not think about it just 3 years, think about it in 30 years, does that still look small to you? In crypto I always think about it in 30 year terms, for all of my investments and if it doesn't look good after 30 years in my head, then I stop using it completely.
30 years in the future? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, i can't even tell if a Dollar Or EUR exist in 30 years. And Bitcoin is under 14 years old, so there's no way to see how any crypto is doing even in 10 years. It could be totally whole new game with new kind of "crypto".

Most of the things in my house won't last 30 years. There's not even a company that can be predicted to exist in 30 years. Lot's of people i know will be dead. Planning to 5 years from now is looking far ahead and pretty optimistic to think that you can.

Anyway, i am buying funtokens next week. I don't plan for them to exist my whole life but i still buy them.

Just thought Id share what Eddie said on stream today. Stake is live streaming ufc281 tonight for everyone free. That means noone has to pay for payperview, just visit stake tonight and open the stream. They're saving everyone roughly $80 and even said you DO NOT have to be logged in to watch.
I am speechless, i just started using stake.com short time ago for exactly live betting MMA in the future and instantly they do this. This made my day! Have they done something like this before? I mean is free live streaming of ufc something i can look forward to in the future?

They will get so much visibility with this deal, and people will have to go to the site, they will be back eventually. Smart advertising.

If you are really serious for this, now is good time to start your crypto investment firm.
I believe everything will be quite different in the next 5-10 years.
Imagine you stand here like someone was at Dotcom bubble 2000.

A twitter TA expert who predicted the big crypto crash, just stated that we would have reached the bottom. . When people have a recorded history of disagreeing with others and being proven right i am following what they say very closely. If i had money left i would carefully long some coins with leverage now.
3259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance poised to become a monopoly? on: November 12, 2022, 04:53:29 PM
FTX has already announced a bankruptcy officially and SBF has run away to Argentina.
If CZ would have made this deal it would have only made losses but fortunately that didn't happen.
Also, there are rumors that SBF had designed a backdoor into FTX which enabled him to transfer funds without alerting anyone.
If this is true then SBF is in very deep trouble. God knows whats gonna happen next.
He is going to be way more wanted by police then McAffee soon, that's whats going to happen next. And he better run as $1-2 billion of their funds are not accounted for. I don't know if he could run as far that it would hide him. I am pretty sure he would have enough money stashed to stay underground but it needs so much will to do so.

What it comes to Binance, they have no real competition right now and they seem like good guys. So everything is a win-win for them
