Etereum epoc 135:
25mhash: Gtx 1060 6gb with samsung mem +1000 on the memclock. (70 watt) 23mhash: Gtx 1060 6gb with micron mem +600 on the memclock.(70 watt) 20mhash: Gtx 1060 6gb with hynix mem (70 watt)
You can check in gpuz wich type of memory you have. Some cards have different memory on the same brandname, so if you are lucky you have samsung on all your cards. +1000 isn't always stable, so you need to find the correct clock for each rig and group 6 cards with the same memory for optimal performance.

Just tested - 1070 29, 1080 22. Only speedup on the gtx 1060.

I get 315MHASH stable with oc on the gtx 1070. You should be able to get 550MHASH on the 1080ti.
use LBRY sp-mod
-500 on the memory clock 100% tdp or higher. 120%. And then overclock the core as much as possible.

If it is priced lower than a 1080ti, it is simply more Tflops per dollar which will help it for compute bound algo, like Lbry, Skein etc. It then comes down to power efficiency. If it hashes at 700h/s in zcash at 200W just like the 1080ti, it is an instant buy for me because I believe there will be driver and miner software optimization in the future.
Hashing algos doesn't need Tflops. (floating point operations) LBRY on AMD cards is slow. The opensource LBRY implementation used to do less than 100MHASH on a rx 480. Is there a faster miner out there?

According to the video, Genesis mining have around 1 MUSD a month in powercost, and they have farms spread around in the world. I don't think this number is correct. 1MUSD per year perhaps?
The gpu's in video #1 is pulling around 250 watt each. Seems to be all radeon based 6 cards per rig. Probobly sapphire 380x Nitro cards by the look of the grill. (I think the first video was made in 2016)
A 250W gpu use $0.6 a day @ $0.1 /KWh $0.3 a day @ $0.05/KWh
1 600 000 GPU's ??
The correct number is probobly around 133 333 gpu's. Still abit high. Help me out here. Any insiders?

nice! where can we get it, if we cannot buy it? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You have to wait for the free upgrade from the gpl developers. You might have to wait very long, because I think Alexis have stopped to publish his work. DJM34 has retired. Wolf0 has got a gf. Pallas is too lazy. Tpruvot is too busy with yiimp. I get around 320 with the alexis build on the same intensity, clocks and tdp settings. ccminer 2.0 is below 300. Skein sp-mod #3 on the gtx 1060 6GB does above 400MHASH, (ccminer 2.0 with gtx 1070 founder edition does 420MHASH) Skein sp-mod #3 gtx 1070 does above 600MHASH Skein sp-mod #3 gtx 1080 does <censored> Skein sp-mod #3 gtx 1080ty does <censored> Go mine ethereum or zcash. More profit for you.. A new free ethereum miner that does 25MHASH on the gtx 1060 has just been published free on the net.

Bitfinex/poloniex is selling for dollars. For every USDT you buy, bitfinex/poloniex sell 1 USD worth of BTC and put it in a bank. When you exchange the USDT back, bitfinex/poloniex moves the USD out of the bank account and buy bitcoin.
I don't agree with this, you got any source? No. This is just the way I would have implemented a USDT clone. Bottom line is do you trust a company that says we have $210,000,000 in our bank account just in case someone wants to cash out?
That's why they have daily limits.. In 2008 ppl trusted the banks as well.

When you exchange btc for tether the exchange will sell your btc for usd behind the curtains to hedge Shouldn't be a problem with tether... bitfinex and poloniex are the biggest exchanges..
Sounds like Lehman Brothers to me only difference being Bitfinex somehow managed to do something Lehman Brothers couldn't do. Not similar. This makes it much easier for the trader to move funds quickly between "fiat" and crypto, because the exchange is doing the job for you. This will also delay the taxation of your profit. Ex: You bought $1000 worth of ethereum on poloniex right after launch. Today the value is $500 000. If you move the $500 000 to your Fiat bankaccount, you need to pay tax of the profit. If you keep the profit it USDT you delay the taxation, and you don't need to worry about the price fluctation of the cryptocoins.

dump and dump - the best strategy ever ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Where you one of the guys who mined ethereum the first 6 months and dumped it @ $0.60 a coin ? Then you missed a 500x increase. I think a mix is best.. Keep some and dump some. But spread the risk on more than one coin.

FIAT is oldschool
Old is gold sometimes... When you exchange btc for tether the exchange will sell your btc for usd behind the curtains to hedge. On polo there are no other options because fiat trading is not allowed, and transfer to btc and out of the exchange is slow. (($2000) witdraw limit pr day,$25000 when verified) Shouldn't be a problem with tether... bitfinex and poloniex are the biggest exchanges..

it is true bensam. i tried on my old wonky miner and it shows the same drop. dunno if it's exactly the same issue, afaik AMD arch doesn't even have a TLB. now let's see how that 1070 holds up ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Yes this is true... Something else to remember is Ethereum profit on a 480/580 isn't just limited to Ethereum, when Eth starts earning less you start cranking the intensity up on the secondary algo (PASC/DCR/SIA), just the same as mining with a 1070 or any piece of Nvidia hardware, only AMD has the assembly changes which almost double the secondary algo earnings compared to Nvidia (which is why it would be nice if someone made a good dual miner for Nvidia). Seems as though everyone is freaking out on the lost revenue, but one of the reasons you buy say a 580 over a old school R9-390 off eBay is because it performs better when you take into account other algos. The latest claymore can do 30-32MHASH ethereum and 1000MHASH decred (-dcri 20) on the r9 390 But the power usage is 340watt. I am dualmining eth at 27-28MHASH and 1000MHASH decred or 500 mhash sia @260 watt (with a homemade bios mod). Profitable, but use too much fuel compared to NVIDIA cards or 470-580 cards. With the bios mod, I can run 6 390 cards on a 1700W psu.

... Difficulty up, no security, price down. With the Metropolis release these block times will be fixed back to 14 seconds however the Ethereum foundation devs are delaying the release as late as possible to control the supply.
Out of budget, They need an iceage to swallow the emission.

Bios mod on nividea.... please tel me more !!!!
The biggest farms in the world are all NVIDIA. A bios mod require a crack of the driver. If you have enough monero you can ask around @ www.pouet.netAnd maybe someone will do the job for you.
