I'm using the Evga 1200P2, running 5 cards per rig. Using a 2x 8pin to dual 6+2 pin splitter per rig. 80% TDP, roughly 1125W at the wall per rig.
damn thats looking nice, are you on 110V with those? i ask as i am building for max-hash type ti rigs like that (tho mine are classic open frame, not rack, and yours look great!) but i fear popping breaker on startup with x6 ti, may i ask why you did 5? mine are five also (for breaker reason) i am using 1600 watt hercules (only thing i could find with enough 8x2 pins for x6 ti's) Clean setup! On 240V with these. Each circuit has 20A breakers (4480W limit), but my power splitter only handles 13A (3120W). 2 rigs are on a single circuit now, drawing a total of 2300W, plenty of leeway. I need to find some power splitters that can handle 20A. I really wanted 6x 1080ti per rig, but 1600W power supplies were nowhere to be found last month, hence I had to go 1200W psu and 5 per rig. In the future, I hope to replace them with 1600W Evga T2 psu and go 6 per rig, and use these 1200P2 psu for 6x Vega or Volta 150-200W TDP cards.

Hashing algos doesn't need Tflops. (floating point operations) LBRY on AMD cards is slow. The opensource LBRY implementation used to do less than 100MHASH on a rx 480. Is there a faster miner out there?

Is there a faster miner out there? Ah I mean "compute horsepower" (assuming it scales linearly with tflops, not sure what's the right term). The above algos are just example, I have never experimented with AMD cards outside of eth and zcash.

Vega is realy bad dude, here are some initial benchmarks for FE edition ( for workstations ): Time Spy Graphics = 6785 pts Fire Strike Ultra Graphics = 5091 pts Doom Vulkan 4K Ultra @ 55-65 FPS The Witcher 3 @ 28-35 FPS at 4K Hairworks on / 41-42 FPS with Hairworks off (80 C running the game) Troubles OCing past 1650 MHz with the blower Tried to OC HBM, starts at 945 MHz, managed 960 MHz stable and at 980 MHz it got too hot Tester says you won't be able to OC without additional cooling, thermal throttling (80-85 C) Tester put 2x 80 mm fans to help (open air case) and it was down to 75 C Tester doesn't think it will touch the 1080 Ti performance-wise, only 1070-1080s Mining: 30-35 MH/s Cinebench R15 OpenGL: 97.39 FPS Card operate at 1348-1528 MHz in gaming mode during The Witcher 3 testing Maybe the RX edition will be better, because this is way below 1080 for gaming standards, not to mention 35Mh/s in mining lolz

ya thats what i heard, a 1080ti is STILL pulling better benches then their new "flex" cards: Frontier honestly i think they were too slow on these new chips, and those new "mining cards" are a joke (tho nvidias may be better) 125 watt and 25mh/s? Pfft

I use 2 1000w Evga PSUs with an add2psu connection (so I dont have splice wires and can resell PSUs later if needed). I have 6 per board running with headroom for growth - last I saw on vega is that it was power hungry so I wanted headroom. Have zero issues, except the occasional second PSU will not power off immediately (1 sec delay) - but who wants to power down anyways. HEAT in the cords is an issue to watch.

There are no softfork...The chokepoint created by the transition to Segwit will kill some coins, but CitiBank is already holding ZEC, DOGE and DGB, waiting for the hardfork and the dual transaction failure. Spread the message!

ROI for me at .07 KWH today is 98 days according to nicehash, assumed 700 cost 1070 is 84 days with the same electric rate, with maybe half the hedge per dollar invested. edit - at 400 USD for one, which is obviously probably not what you scoop them for today 580 8gb at 300 is 76 days. But who is getting them at that price without a group buy? Probably no one

So recently I tried something, I was mining and opened up Witcher 3 lol it plays it at 30 fps haha sometimes it drops to 25 -at full ultra settings on my 1440p monitor
1080ti is very good for gaming that I can tell you right now.
Also I can overclock mine upto 2070 mhz without actual voltage settings other than power to 120%
It's good to see actual investors coming in to chime.
btw I know it's a trade secret and what not but did you guys want to make a telegram group for 1080ti owners?
Let me know I can make one.

Read what you said I did my best to decipher that slop, clarify Are you asking what day you think it became a better choice to buy a Ti?
