I think they're running out of tricks finally guys, the stock markets are going down so we'll have to wait and see what happens next, bad news for them, great news for Bitcoin since it's going back to $400.
I have to agree. We finally see some progress in this with price returning to 400. Hope to see it around 600 by end of this year, but I think that this will hot happen just maybe will pass 500, but barely. It would almost be a good thing for the price not to rise as massively as it did awhile ago because if it stays relatively stable against the 'real' markets people are going to start taking it more seriously, I'd certainly be happy because I wouldn't have to keep constantly updating my prices.

Signature campaigns are the way to go if you are a poor bitcoiner like me They definitely are, faucets just aren't worth it, there's not even a slight chance of getting 1BTC, I would also say a signature campaign would be the way to go, it's certainly helping me out, nothing nicer than getting chunks of BTC each week to let you increase your income. If you're going to have no life and waste time here, might as well earn a reasonable amount while you're at it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

LOL a username called Hustler saying you should invest in the stock market, seems legit ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) No, this is a crash I have been waiting for, I'm sure the central banks will try to breathe more life into it, but it looks like this is the beginning of the end, the global economy shall crash and burn and we will be sitting on top of the ruins.

I'd like to point out I put Decksperiment on my ignore list a long time ago and his kind of comments are exactly why.

I personally don't leave btc on an offline computer or a flash drive. My reasoning is that they're technology, and it tends to fail. What if that computer doesn't boot up one day, or what if it's somehow broken? What if you lose your flash drive that has your private keys, or what if it gets too close to a magnet?
What if the house burns down?
That's life, but if you're seriously that worried then split the Bitcoin up onto several USB drives or something to make sure it's safe, you'd have to have some seriously bad luck for all of them to break down or go missing.

That really sucks, I feel for you as I've made the mistake of clicking an instant sell order before on the order book because I didn't know what I was doing, unfortunately there isn't much that can be done unless you discover the staff are really really nice and would give you your money back but the thing is you've executed the trade with another person rather than them.
Simple tips for not making gigantic fat finger fuckups when making transactions:
. Always double check your address before you send it somewhere
. Double check the amount you are sending if it is very specific
. Make your you're paying your transaction fee so your Bitcoin doesn't get lost forever
. Check you know what buttons actually do and ask at support to make sure before clicking them
. Never execute trades or do transactions when very tired or in a rush to go somewhere
There's a problem with having something as convenient as Bitcoin where you can end up accidentally doing something you didn't mean to because it's so damn easy, be very careful!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2uiAeGqRK4Video just posted up yesterday where Mike Maloney actually goes into some technical detail on the current state of the major U.S markets, pretty interesting, only a short piece of a clearly larger presentation though I wonder when he's going to release episode 6 because he said he'd do Bitcoin next.

Have to say though, I am looking forward to the day I can legitimately buy Gemstones and Jewellery supplies with Bitcoin :S too bad we're not there yet because I'd go on a massive spending spree.

Bah, well, guess we'll wait and see what happens then.

“The right to privacy is not,” Emmerson’s report acknowledges, “an absolute right. Once an individual is under suspicion and subject to formal investigation by intelligence or law enforcement agencies, that individual may be subjected to surveillance for entirely legitimate counter-terrorism and law enforcement purposes.” What a shit head, isn't it obvious now that our governments view us with complete contempt? Who knows what they would have gotten up to if Snowden hadn't leaked those documents.

Okay, I should be set up now, can you check?

Still a spot available? a few posts back it said there was 3 spots free, and seems only 2 people claimed them so far.
I'd be interested in knowing if there's a slot available too, I just need to double check things.

They don't want children to know how much they've been screwed over until they're old enough not to care.

I'd like to point out that these guys are very likely scammers and I've called them out before, chances are even if they send you something it could easily be some kind of Cubic Zirconia that look like Diamonds on their photographs but are worth only a fraction of what real diamonds are worth and so on or they'll just run off with the money if you're dumb enough not to use escrow. Don't trust them, legitimate diamond dealers would not show up on a forum like this and immediately want to do a $12,657 deal, if they even do have these diamonds and are selling them that cheaply they are definitely conflict or from an illegal source so they could be stolen on top of that. I don't give a shit if I offend the OP, I've seen this kind of thing before, I've forgotten the name of the guy on Bitcointalk but he runs Gem Vault and you can contact him if you want diamonds and he's already done transactions legitimately with escrow using Bitcoin. http://thegemvault.com/Again, nobody new and professional would attempt to do this kind of deal with such a large amount of Bitcoin without asking for escrow without being some kind of scammer. I have actually bought gemstones before and I know what I'm talking about, use established members and if you do use a newbie to buy something for crying out loud don't make a large purchase or use escrow.

Any large amount of Bitcoins it is absolutely essential to keep it in cold storage and more importantly offline, a disconnected computer off the internet can't be hacked, first rule of a fight is don't be there, unfortunately many don't practice this and I'm still seeing topics of people screaming about how their coins got hacked despite using Tor etc. and they just don't take peoples advice, most likely because they think it won't happen to them.
It's fine leaving it online if you're going to spend it at some point or move it around but ideally if it's for long term storage offline is best.

I'm not surprised, it's the same in America isn't it? Here's to hoping we can finally get rid of this cycle of the older generation screwing over the younger generation which is really all politics amounts to anymore. You can bet though that the older lot in the UK will be out in force to act patronising and arrogant to them because honestly I think it's something the British specialise in which is one of the many reasons I want to leave lol.
