9142  Other / Off-topic / Re: (Poll) US presidential election: who do you hate the least? on: November 01, 2012, 01:42:01 AM
If you check out data regarding non-voters you'll see they're starting to outnumber the people who do vote..... When the UK general election comes round I am so going to mock the main parties if they bother to knock.

If a woman ever asks me to marry I am going to smuggle myself into North Korea.

Yes you did read that right.
9144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama or Romney ? on: November 01, 2012, 12:39:07 AM
An attacker is an attacker, it doesn't matter how a lawyer puts it, if someone attacks another person then they should be in jail because they are a threat to society, if they have mental hospital then they should be in a there own separate cell with care. Also if someone breaks into your home to attack you then that's just another case of self-defense, he's trying to attack you, you can defend yourself, it's when you shoot him and then shoot him again while he's running that I would make that against the law because then you're just murdering him.
9145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average age on this forum on: November 01, 2012, 12:14:06 AM
Twenty two, the hilarious thing is I've been told by women older than me I even LOOK 12 >_> maybe I shouldn't shave.

Edit: and yes, I just wrote a number in words on the internet, DEAL WITH IT!

That's all you've got? Here's what I'd do

1. Default on the debt ( There's no way it's going to be paid back so don't even bother trying because that will just lengthen the depression )

2. Make it illegal for any government employee to borrow in the taxpayers name, no more borrowing at the expense of others or to get re-elected

3. introduce laws removing any restrictions on competing currencies

4. Make one self-defense law stating "If you are attacked then you have a right to defend yourself as long as you do not kill the attacker or attackers"

5. 5% flat tax rate to take care of the genuinely helpless who can't fend for themselves

6. Arrest all known board members of the Federal Reserve and shut the place down

7. Almost forgot, legalise prostitution and all drugs, for prostitution though I would make it so that pimping wouldn't be allowed to prevent the women in that situation being abused

As for Romney and Obama, they are both the same to me, nothing more than Imperialists wearing different symbols, they both want to expand the empire and they both support the military industrial complex.
9147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 12-Year-Old Girl Shoots Intruder During Home Invasion In Bryan County on: October 31, 2012, 11:24:14 PM
That's self-defense at its finest, as long as they both get out okay and the attacker learns their lesson that's more than you can ask for..... Too bad gun control advocates would never pay attention to anything like this.
9148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are people scared of taxes? on: October 31, 2012, 11:21:22 PM
What I hate about taxes and government isn't what they provide, but the fact that they are trying to enforce human kindness.

They're essentially going "Well done, you've earned that cookie all by yourself, now go share it with that kid over there" it may seem logical at first, but if you keep doing it again and again, having to share to other kids as well, and they've taken away practically everything until there's only a crumb left then you're going start resenting the jackass making you share it because you only have a crumb while everyone else is getting the whole thing.
9149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lawmakers seek to restrict your right to resell the things you own on: October 31, 2012, 11:17:29 PM
Oh please, lawmakers can bluff all they like, if the so called anti-piracy laws are anything to go by these laws cannot be enforced, I'm going to laugh if police actually bother trying to take away the stuff, it'll be like watching the Greece riots where there are several hundred thousand people surrounding a few officers with truncheons.

They are, but I know their pain, I've only had my own forum up for a few days and I must have been hit with about 30 - 40 spam posts already.
9152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitfloor Down? on: October 31, 2012, 10:30:11 PM
You mean here? https://bitfloor.com/?

Try this website if your having trouble as well, usually helps to check if your problems are local http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Is this another bitcoin stock exchange? It looks a lot like GLBSE.
9153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some fun and not so fun times at the MSI forum on: October 31, 2012, 10:06:36 PM
I know bugger all about overclocking or anything like that ( hardware and programming just isn't my thing ) but when it comes to these 'official' and corporate boards don't worry if you get banned, you can honestly get banned off them by accident, especially they're trying to satisfy parents who are scared of the internet but won't parent their own children.

I once got banned off SOE's forum for calling someone an imbecile Cheesy.... Or it might have been a moron >_> anyway.
9154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: October 31, 2012, 09:32:22 PM
Same here, 1 hour to go before I can get past this newbie system! I want to see about earning some bitcoin on the side maybe or something while I work on my main project.
9155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Idiot proof Bitcoin SCI for digital downloads? on: October 31, 2012, 07:41:20 PM
For those curious I've signed up with bitpay and plan to use their PhP script alongside a script I paid for called Digivendor Pro ( Really awesome by the way ) I was wondering if there was an open source version out there but oh well at least Bitpay won't rob me in fees like paypal seem to want to.
9156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: October 31, 2012, 04:28:51 PM
I'm a learning artist developing my own manga and currently looking into Jewelry making, hopefully I'll be able to both for Bitcoin.
9157  Other / Beginners & Help / Idiot proof Bitcoin SCI for digital downloads? on: October 31, 2012, 03:37:41 PM
So I've had a look around and so far I've seen some solid ( if confusing ) SCI scripts for Bitcoin that seem to work great for selling real products but I haven't seen any so far that offer options for digital downloads. Is there an open source script like bit evolution where I can directly take payments without needing any third party to do it for me and charge a fee? In case you were wondering I was thinking of something like Direct2Drive or GoG.com where you get an email and login page that gives you download links to what you want after you pay.

I'm a learning Manga Artist, I've been practicing artwork for a long time now, I really need to upload some better stuff but here's a link to my photobucket account where I dump everything and of course a link to my site, I'm also looking to learn Jewelry making and I see bitcoin as a good way of diversifying and making sure I don't get screwed over in the coming depression by investing too much into the pound or any of the other 'conventional' fiat currencies.

Did you synchronize your bitcoin wallet? As far as I know if the wallet isn't synchronized then you won't receive bitcoins when you mine. It should say so at the bottom window with how many blocks are remaining.
