3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: February 10, 2019, 11:26:34 AM

I see the total coins will be 300,000,000 eventually?  Rarity is better like around 20,000,000..... or even much less ( less than 2,000,000 ) as in another privacy coin that I like....

That privacy coin friendly exchange TXBIT.io is amazing and the Veil team should try to list their coin on it.

All that really matters is a marketcap. Rarity attracts people yeah, but so does the psychology of newbs wanting to buy "cheap" coins with hue total supply Smiley.

Aside from that, cheap coins with huge supply and no real applications in the market will be very easy to eat the dust of crypto. They need to get as many users on board as they can and be a loyal user of this coin.
3242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of ETF approval to gamble industries! on: February 10, 2019, 06:26:29 AM
IMO gamblers ( especially professional gamblers ) don't care at all about ETF , if you are a gambler and living in a country where gambling btc is the only way to gamble then you will use it regardless of ETF
and if you already have access to another fiat sites but still find value or fun in certain bitcoin site then you will use it as well regardless of ETF

I have no idea though if it will have some impacts on the sites , for example can we see more new sites offering bitcoin ?

Most probably, more gambling sites will be created and launched. Better be careful in signing up and playing with them. There are definitely scammers out there waiting for their fish to fry. In my point of view, there will be advantages regarding the ETF approval, not only in the gambling industry but the whole crypto market in general.
3243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: February 10, 2019, 06:19:35 AM
It is up to people to do their own research and determine what is worth investing in.  People advertising new projects should not be insulted when there is not valid proof of a scam.  Too many people call things a scam simply because they lost money or sold coins early because the price went down and they got scared.

Sometimes people will leave you red trust without basis at all. Just sudden burst of emotion. Good thing that there's certain level of trust here in the forum, where you can identify if the red mark is valid or not.
3244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Bitagro on: February 10, 2019, 06:12:10 AM
Where exactly did you get your license to operate your crypto exchange? With the recent issues of cryptopia and quadrigaCX, I think it is understandable if your clients want to know the legitimacy of your exchange?
3245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[ANN][BRAVO] THE YELP/TRIPADVISOR OF BLOCKCHAIN: REVIEWING IS THE NEW MINING🔴 on: February 09, 2019, 11:50:12 PM
Do you have the number of how many active users are currently using your app? Google play says about 100+ installs. Don't know if it's updated. I think you are heading in a better direction as you have working app already. You need to entice users/food reviewers as many as you can so it will create a buzz in the industry. And yes, listing this in a reputable exchange will attract reviewers on your platform.

We currently have 264 users total and are working on bringing on new users.  What's great is that this platform was built to try to on-board the masses who don't know anything about crypto by doing something they already know how to do and are currently doing, reviewing!  Already we have proven our use case, as about half of our users have never used crypto before, and are already earning BRAVO through the app!  We are about to start our marketing blitz soon too.  We were waiting for our 3 trademarks that are now recognized by the USPTO to go live.

We did this completely self funded without an ICO or any private placements or investments.  There is too much smoke and mirrors in this industry, we wanted to come to market with a working product and platform!

Currently users get 10 BRAVO for signing up, and we are working on other initiatives.  Suggestions are always welcome!

This is already a great start to be honest. Those 264 users will invite their friends of friends if they are satisfied with your platform. Word of mouth is one of the best marketing tools. And having your actual use case here will establish your platform in the crypto industry. Everyone starts from somewhere, right? Good luck!
3246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone agrees that bitcoin rise will help the all crypto currencies to rise? on: February 09, 2019, 10:29:22 PM
From yesterday the price of bitcoin got increased upto $400 due to the speculation of ETF approval by SEC which made all the other crypto currencies to bump with the same level of bitcoin so which shows that if bitcoin prices recover all the crypto currencies will be able to recover.

Do you agree that?
As always, bitcoin is the king of the market and has the greatest impact on this market. As the price of bitcoin goes up, all altcoin in this market will also increase and conversely, when the price of bitcoin falls all altcoin will fall

The trend is generally like that ever since. Bitcoin will always be one of the major cornerstone in the market movement. But I don't totally agree with the rise of other altcoins. Altcoins with strong foundation can follow thru the bitcoin's movement but all the other crap ones should be left behind.

It looks like the Bravo platform works well, and more and more people are using it, I think the Bravo token has a good potential to hold, where can I buy it? I did not see the Bravo token on CMC

We are currently in talks with several exchanges to get listed and will keep the community apprised of any updates regarding this.  Once we are listed we should be able to get onto CMC with a little bit of volume.  Currently the only way to get BRAVO is to use the platform and earn it for writing and rating reviews, or to trade/exchange/buy from other users in our Discord marketplace chat.

I saw the TM-symbol from one of your team member's linkedin profile -

Is it authentic? I mean, where did you get the trademark symbol from? Can you show us reference doc that this symbol is valid?
3249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not use poloniex!! Be careful people! on: February 08, 2019, 11:53:32 PM
Waoo!! What pathetic situation for holding you funds for that long period of time. I think this is my first time of hearing something bad about poloniex exchange because I have been using poloniex exchange for a long time period without any issue though I don't keep much funds with them anyway. Can you let the house know the latest about your issue?

I wonder if polo resolved his situation here. Also, I've been a user of polo for years already and never encountered any hiccups whatsoever up until now. Maybe, he got his coins already? No updates from him yet?
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DRINK - Providing Safe Drinking Water [MN/POS] on: February 08, 2019, 11:22:13 PM
Instead of building a masternode and then allow people to vote on which foundation to donate, why don't you just straightly donate to charity organizations with Bitcoin or something else? I don't get the point of building a new framework just to lay out a platform for voting. There's already a thousand foundation out there which gladly accept a donation if we visit their site.

We are currently in discussion with various projects around the world including non-profit organisations.

Which one?

I wonder if they really have genuine intentions here. I've seen such projects like this and they ended up bad. More than likely, they will just sell their masternode coins thru discord. This is one easy way to earn money. They don't even have the website link to refer on. An authentic project having this kind of mission should have their proper info in place.
3251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: February 08, 2019, 11:15:08 PM
Maybe I don't really understand OP's question but haven't we already seen so many crypto and blockchain projects dedicated specifically for gambling? Augur is probably one of the most famous, it's all about prediction markets last I checked. And on this forum itself, several casinos have launched ICOs just to create a token that revolves around gambling. Bitdice has CSNO tokens that issues dividends as the casino makes profit. I believe Betking also launched their ICO for BKB tokens. Lots more if you look around.

That's right, many online casinos have their own currency, which are called either Play Money or something with a casino's name in it. In some cases they are exchangeable for other crypto currencies on the site and in other cases they are not, but it's not a new idea overall. Maybe OP meant something else though, so it would be interesting to see his/her reply to our comments.

His concept is not really new. There are crypto online casinos that have their own coin within the system already.  And at the end of the chain, a user want to exchange that coin to their fiat in order to use that in his everyday expenses. I never encountered yet a pure gambling coin used as a payment method.
3252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do activities of an escrow apply to gambling on: February 08, 2019, 04:23:29 PM
This is completely risk involved, what you've asked is individual betting between users offline using bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. For this it is a must to use a escrow service. This will ensure the trust of the pay once after the event gets ended. Because even with known person it isn't assured to get the winnings after the play. To make yourself into complications it is good to go with lots and lots of gambling sites available accepting bitcoin.

I fully agree with that. It is better to have escrow especially in the gambling department. The stakes are usually high in gambling, so much better to use an escrow before any betting happens.
3253  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 ERENA.io 🔥 - The Litecoin Crash Game - Wager weekly challenge & PvP Lotto on: February 08, 2019, 04:07:31 PM
A new version of our faucet will be available this week!
Thanks for the advice
That would be a nice comply, faucet works to add more visitors and we knew that traffic counts as an additional factors when gamblers / players
are looking for site to play, and some of them also use faucets to try the house game, if they enjoy for sure they will deposit real money inside
the house.

At least the faucet is used by most people to start a gamble without having to make a deposit. This factor is a determinant of a gambling site, when the gambling site they have has interesting features and is different from other gambling sites, they will no longer use the faucet to start gambling, they can deposit directly into this gambling site.
I don't think they will stop faucet, they don't give much of their money from faucet but the effect of that faucet is good to the gambling site.
They will retain it even if their games and their sites will become popular, just like other gambling sites that are popular now, they still have faucets included.

I do not think that by removing faucet it will give you significant changes though . But as far as I know that faucet is really needed for every sites to let people use it for testing the site so it is a main thing to have this. Of course you need to have some strict rules on this to make sure people dont keep on abusing it because it is irritating to have this faucet abuser. As long as there is no abuser, any site will keep on growing

Faucet is back. I agree on the point of using whatever amount you can get from the faucet to try the features of the site. That's one way of enticing users. Who knows, user that got hooked up with the game will deposit his hard-earned money just to continue his game? And I believe it's easy now to eliminate abusers, just limit one user per IP.
3254  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 08, 2019, 09:08:55 AM

First prize  Cry

I can say that the one who got the first prize was very lucky indeed. He had the lowest number of tickets but he got the top prize. Playing on this site since 2014-2015, but stopped for 3 years and come back this year only. Good thing you can recover your pw by providing the email address you used before. Never won from the lottery ever since.  Sad
3255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: February 08, 2019, 06:25:34 AM
Popping Bitcoin ATM in every major places is one big thing to tell the world how cryptocurrency dominating the money transactions of human kind these days and i am happy to find multiple in my area, but it does not needed here since we can just purchase Bitcoin thru our local wallets by loading in every 7/11 stores so the bitcoin ATM machines are only there for nothing.though I don’t know if theres other people here using it though maybe if theres for sure fewer than expected ,i never tried using one.in many places that has not having regulation as ours machines like this are very helpful

One chain of convenience stores like 7/11 is already doing a lot of crypto transactions for so long already. Since they are all over the world, it means, doing a bitcoin transaction is so much easier now. And with the support of bitcoin ATMs, no wonder the usage of cryptocurrency is growing everyday.

3257  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gunsbet Casino starts with Bitcoin + exclusive Bitcoin Bonus on: February 07, 2019, 11:26:26 PM
I thought it's a new site but upon researching, I saw that they have an existing thread in the forum but they are not active anymore since their last post was made on Sept last year. I accessed the site and it looks neat, I hope they'll come back here and continue their competition.

Not last year but 2017, so their representative in this forum has been inactive for more than a year. They tried to announce it here with a competition but seems that it was not run as expected. They should be more active here if they want to attract bitcoin players. Otherwise it wont get significant traffic improvement.
Sorry, yeah, you are right it was 2017.
Their representative have stopped, they don't see how much opportunity they miss with those times.
Every gambling sites wants to increase their gamblers as that's what makes them profitable also, and I don't think putting a representative to maintain in this forum is a hard job to do compared to the potential benefits they will get.

They better get back because if a user needs support from them, at least, they can be reached out via this forum. This is a good place to interact with players also. Once, a particular gambler sees that they are active in answering someone else's issues, he might use their platform also. Good communication with users is one better way to attract more users.
3258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITMALLY - First decentralized e-mail with cryptocurrency transactions on: February 07, 2019, 11:00:26 PM
This project has already completed 3 phases and it’s unusual that I haven’t heard about it before. However, I will look through documentation

As far as I know, they are not the first one to introduced the use of email for crypto transactions. There are a bunch of projects already. So their claim is not totally true. But if they can deliver this project successfully, that's fine. Competition in the market is good.

Is your partnership with Visa for your debit card in place already? Also, based from your roadmap, beta stage is already done, is it really finished?
3260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ➡️[ANN][STO][REFERRAL] Orbis - The World's Local Bank - Security Token Offering⬅ on: February 07, 2019, 08:29:31 AM
Orbis makes things perfect it gives solutions of most problem that our real world and to the wold of crypto one of the example of crypto problem today is the speed in transaction per seconds  and  in the real world is the high fess in sending money any where in the world.

Orbis does not make anything perfect at least not yet because last time i checked they are still running crowdsale which will run for a good part of this year,
whatever orbis have promise is all still in theory not yet in practice, so untill when orbis have finally lunch the project and start providing this service and have manage to provide solution of most problem from real banks, i wouldn't make such conclusions yet Wink

There are a lot of good reviews already for this project. But I want also their platform up and running before I can make further assessment. Hundreds of projects were already hyped up by good words but in the end, they didn't deliver. Maybe at the end of this year, we will see their platform fully functional?
