If you are really serious for this, now is good time to start your crypto investment firm.
I believe everything will be quite different in the next 5-10 years.
Imagine you stand here like someone was at Dotcom bubble 2000.

A twitter TA expert who predicted the big crypto crash, just stated that we would have reached the bottom. . When people have a recorded history of disagreeing with others and being proven right i am following what they say very closely. If i had money left i would carefully long some coins with leverage now.

FTX has already announced a bankruptcy officially and SBF has run away to Argentina.
If CZ would have made this deal it would have only made losses but fortunately that didn't happen.
Also, there are rumors that SBF had designed a backdoor into FTX which enabled him to transfer funds without alerting anyone.
If this is true then SBF is in very deep trouble. God knows whats gonna happen next.
He is going to be way more wanted by police then McAffee soon, that's whats going to happen next. And he better run as $1-2 billion of their funds are not accounted for. I don't know if he could run as far that it would hide him. I am pretty sure he would have enough money stashed to stay underground but it needs so much will to do so.

What it comes to Binance, they have no real competition right now and they seem like good guys. So everything is a win-win for them

Stunna has answered our question that no funds or KYC were stolen because hacker only managed to get into email not to the place where important data is stored
Regardless of whether the statement can be trusted or not, what is clear is that we still have to anticipate changing the password and activating 2FA is the most appropriate solution at this time. However, this is a warning to stake.com to continue to improve security problems like this are very vulnerable to user trust.
My 2 cents: if i had to choose whom to trust i would trust Stake staff on this, not a random scammers who could have wrote literally anything about anything.

The fact some script kids managed to break into something doesn't mean anyone has to somehow trust all the rest of what they say. That's wouldn't be logical or constructive behavior. If you just look at the immature language they used in those messages, they were probably kids bragging of being ultimat3 h4ckerz, nothing on their messages needs to be taken seriously.

however traders and investors were caught in the middle of such maneuver and they have lost a lot of money because of this act of revenge.
-cut
They would have lost their money eventually. FTX mishandled customer funds and they are under U.S. agency investigations. CZ most likely heard about this at least at the time he was bailing them out and rejected the offer.

FTX messing up was a more severe blow then people seem to realize, as they are talking about token holders only. FTX group had something like 130 companies under it that went bankrupt not to mention VC investors:

Billions went up in smoke in a moment. It's so surreal it's hard to comprehend. And we shall feel the ripple effect of this for a long time.

Don’t worry mate, not the first account I’ve sold. I am not dumb.

I don't think anyone said you were dumb, but you are targeting ignorant people and that you most likely are a scammer. And i agree, this is probably not the first time you sold an account, and it was most likely this account you sold before.

Also this isn't even correct sections for selling accounts and services. it's here and you should move this thread. Although i wish you would rather delete it.
3267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance poised to become a monopoly? on: November 11, 2022, 06:05:02 PM
CZ did a good thing by backing out from the deal otherwise all his investment in order to save FTX would have gone down the drain.
Currently, FTX has officially announced of going bankrupt and I wonder what's gonna happen next.
Things doesn't get settled here because FTX was the second largest crypto exchange and I think we will get to see some traction in the next few days/weeks.
Considering what has been revealed, yes. It would have been a worst move ever to acquire something that's now been under the close eye of regulators and law enforcement and Sam is probably being sued for numerous reasons. This happened so fast my head is still spinning. It would need a miracle for FTT to survive from this as FTX didn't. Maybe at some day some people could make a group lawsuit that would be for FTT token holders. I am not sure how that would play out.

This is the second No KYC decentralised casino in a short time. I am happy if this trend continues as there are demand for it.

I've read the roadmap and i have to ask what are the requirements for incentivised test participants? Is it just following the steps in your site? I am asking because you are talking about "Qualifying participants" and "winning" TrueCasino CHIPs which makes me think that there are limited number of participants and they are chosen somehow.

it would be fair if they compensate for the people who suffered losses due to trading CROBABY tokens, because I see them making unilateral decisions, they withdraw liquidity without any notification, you could say they took investors' money away
Legally they should give "ico"or "presale" money back to token holders. But i don't think anyone lost that much money that they are willing to take this to court. Officials could be interested about this though and there are tons of free government funded reporting systems for whitle blowers about unregulated icos, online scams and such.

Although i am not sure it they want to waste their time as hunting pseudonymous scammers that takes a ton of time and resources. Often they get help firms that trace blockchain transactions as a service and if they won't give their services for free, it can cost way more then stolen amount, and everyone's salary who is involved in the search. So finding them might not be anyone's priority.
3270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not all gambling games are based on luck, some require skills on: November 11, 2022, 03:51:21 PM
Is there any gambling project that have a soccer game and horse racing game onboard? I believe that these two genre are not based on luck but skill that's why I ask this question, since most gambling projects have games that are based on luck like roulette and others.

Winning in those are still based on probablility, as by insight and knowledge or a good math head you can make odds work for you. But even if there's a lower probability to lose, that probability is called luck by some people.

So no pure luck, but it's still luck. Compared to casino where you don't have real control, in real world sports or poker, you can control your changes by adjusting probabilities via your skills and knowledge.
3271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ dumping FTT on: November 11, 2022, 03:22:39 PM
He was fully aware of what he was doing, he was basically taking revenge. According to CZ there was a period where FTX ended up "attacking" binance, and he saw that as treason because he was the first one to invest into it (well binance was but cz=binance in my mind).
This means he was expecting loyalty and instead he got attacked from them and this made him a bit angry and at the very least dislike FTX. Right now, he found a chance that he could just sell all of his FTT and take a small hit but he could destroy another website. This is why I believe he did it, otherwise he could have sold it for 22 dollars each, and he didn't and made a loss, all because he wanted to destroy FTX and nothing else.
Yup, and honestly, not that some background has opened, it wasn't the only reason. He was aware about some issues happening. The fact i thought that the fud was over was very naive thinking from me. Everything they had exposure to was being dumped and they had to prevent bank run effect.

There were also some leaked damning info about the FTX. ( https://twitter.com/cobie/status/1590610757334728704 )
The rabbit hole is so huge that i would need to do ton of research to cover everything and how it affected to firms that had loan deals with ftx. It's like a card house, one falling after another.

But there are way more capable people reporting about this then me so i don't think i'll be doing any exposure thread.

I am just wishing he didn't went and short FTT or others at the same time, as that could be seen as market manipulation for profit, and then Binance would be in trouble too and we would be REALLY in trouble.
3272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: November 11, 2022, 03:03:57 PM
Came back to visit and see how that 2022 portfolio is doing in the middle of this market chaos.

I am not that surprised about doge to be honest, it seems to always peak before the altcoin season and at some point i guess, the #altcoinseason starts.

Lately i've been thinking i should buy matic, as now when i have used it i find it handy to use. Or maybe i've been influenced to buy it as i see influencers mentioning it a lot, i am not sure. But i am surprised that it has survived that well. I was kinda hoping it would drop more before me buying it. But i guess i'll be just rushing in buying it now.

Bitcoin and eth haven't done that well but it could be way worse and we have to remember it's just few days since things started falling a part in ftx and ftx seem to have dumped everything they had.

XRP i don't personally like and BNB has some decent pr that they gained with that with a power move. I wish that CZ hasn't said anything but things would have just broken slower.

3273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 11, 2022, 01:18:52 PM
So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash

I just started betting online and noticed that i can even do that. I always thought that bets are locked but it makes sense mathematically for casinos to allow people taking smaller sums or cut their losses. Statistically speaking it's same for them.

And first time almost cut my losses because i couldn't take the heat and it wasn't a familiar enough sport to tell if the opponent was dominating too much. So i am guessing your question depends on how is the  game or match is going. I am don't have enough knowledge on some games to see if key players are not having a good day, but in in MMA or boxing i think i can see if someone's going to dominate someone else so my guess is that i can easily cut my losses if things aren't working in my favor.

If the game is even and well-matched but i was winning by betting ratio, i would probably wait out the rest of the game/match.

If i play complicated sports that i don't know enough of, which is most of them, i personally need to wait for the end to see how it plays out because i can't read the playing field, or what's happening in the game, and i wouldn't know if i should trust the moving betting ratio.

Does anyone that has rank 2 or higher spin Fury wheel ? Please share your success rate. I am rank 2. I usually get 100 SHIB or 5 BTT. Few times I was lucky to catch 10 TRX and 3 BFG several times. I've noticed, that the last 2 times I catch BFG, they are not added to my balance, but are displayed in Transactions>Bonus with status "completed". Not that I want to call BetFury as cheaters (I would laugh if I would do that, because of several cents Cheesy) , but I think that is some kind of a bug. Do you have similar experience ?
There's one lvl 2 player (MMIike) on the top winners list whio won 1 BNB:

So i guess it's possible to win, but i am rank 5 and already gave up with that wheel. Never got more then 100 shib and played it daily for a long time.

If i rememeber correctly those wheels payed pretty well with bfg tokens back in day when "mining" was still profitable. Odds for the main price were insanely low (many times harder than lottery in my country). And i can't remember anyone winning the jackpot.

There's nothing wrong by using your time with playing for excitement, but one should adjust their expectations when it comes to that wheel.

What about the old sed tokens??
is it useless anymore??
why change sed to sedc??
I missed a lot of information, but clearly I have around 3000 sed in my wallet, can it be used??
This really needs to be answered by Ashley, i haven't heard about them since they promised to buy back the tokens and cancelled it. I still remember that after that they started to kick people from their telegram channel who critizited their lack of communication and apparently i was one of them.

He hasn't communicated about the swap in here either (if there even was a swap). Or if it's still possible to swap the tokens and how. The fact that we should listen trough 1h20min glitchy ama without video and hope to find any clues what to do with our SED isn't really helpful.

I am waiting for 2 weeks for him to give an answer that satisfies bounty hunters. And if he fails to do that i am red trusting him for not respecting the people who worked for a long time advertising this. I will remove the red trust after he answers what we should do with our sed, or points out a link where we can get answers.

Respectfully, -o48o
3276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance poised to become a monopoly? on: November 10, 2022, 07:45:00 AM
Consider how Cryptsy (a now defunct exchange) caused a severe blow to the crypto market prices as it was one of the biggest exchanges in the world. Just like it happened with Cryptsy, it could happen with Binance at some point in the future. I believe regulators should step in to help prevent Binance from becoming a monopoly. Only then, there will be healthy competition which results in greater decentralization in the long run. It looks like the merger won't happen anytime soon (Binance backed down after it saw FTX's books), so we should have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin
I agree. I remember people trusting Cryptsy and Mintpal too (currently both of their ceos are indicted). But markets weren't really even regulated. Whales played pump and dumps and exchanges didn't require KYCs and for some reason Bittrex didn't seem that legit at the time when it came as a rival.

When Binance came, regulators were just catching up. And newbie investors didn't have the trauma of big CEXes exit scamming, failing or getting hacked. People who came before 2017 knew that anything can happen and tried to warn everyone with the facts like "not your keys, not your coins".

I still think that the whole game has changed a lot. Regulators are watching things more closely and CEXes are working with them. FATF laws are coming and soon Regulated DeFi will be a thing and losses by theft can be covered by insurances. Security now is way more sophisticated and normies can trust security of Binance way more they can trust their own tech savviness to keep hackers away.

Only thing that can seriously mess things up now are unseen disasters we haven't thought about, or huge lawsuits and stuff that happened to FTX and even then you have to fear more market volatility then some exchange stealing your coins.
3277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2013 someone paid to store all the lyrics to a song on the blockchain. on: November 10, 2022, 06:43:56 AM
Blockchain technology has many applications whereby the government and centralized institutions have interest to utilize this great opportunity and many industries also get this done to secure their future portfolios in using blockchain technology, i think there could be more engagement on this discussion with members if the thread moved to Beginners and help or economics.
Yet it's mainly known for making people rich or poor. It's known for scammers rug pulling investors, crypto (sextortion) blackmails, drugs, money laundering, ico bubble where it was mainly sold as a solution to problems that doesn't require blockchain in the first place, rich and poor people bragging with collectable jpgs, PoW as a waste of energy that's destroying the planet. All this without understanding how it any of it works, and apparently it's occasionally Rick Rolling people.

We need a serious PR upgrade.
3278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance poised to become a monopoly? on: November 09, 2022, 10:04:26 PM
Hasn't binance already announced that it is acquiring FTX ?
Even if not then binance is already a leading crypto exchange which makes a step closer to monopoly already.
Now that FTX is collapsing, Binance is becoming even more stronger which we can clearly see on BNB charts.
It's a very though situation out there in the crypto market currently. Stay strong is what I would say.
CZ just backed out from that deal. This makes it so much worse for FTX. They were desperate, signaling how bad things were over there. And now even Binance won't bail them out. If i had still money in, i would be panicking now. Also anything that has exposure to ftx/Alameda will get market dumped. Bank run will be a race and only rule is to get out FAST.

CZ knew what he was doing.
3279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling today and lesson i learnt on: November 09, 2022, 08:13:15 PM
Make your money and leave.
Here's where your reasoning goes south, because this is the exact reason why some people come back to play. They assume that there's money to be made in the first place  if they just leave early enough. Or if they haven't made money, they will make it next time. Reasoning to justify gambling, while only reason you would need is it to be fun.

Gamble for fun, especially with roulette and casino games, don't try to reason sense why you didn't make money or did make money.
If you thought you have figured out a system, just trust me; edge isn't on your side, only luck can be your side.

Also "winning energy bringing more wins" sounds superstitious, weird and fun, but there's as much logic behind that as leaving early.

You don't have to read the rules, but use your common sense that this is against ANY forum etiquette.

I am hoping that after your account gets banned by repeating this copypaste, you won't leave thinking that bitcointalk is somehow against free speech and suppressing your criticism.
