3261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 02, 2016, 02:23:50 PM
You just said It's Illegal how holding them will be legal  Huh

I personally wouldn't care much If it was illegal , I would keep using it. (doesn't mean you should do the same though)
Also what country is that ? Russia is the only one who banned  Bitcoin for real I guess ?
Yeah i am from Nepal and the central authority of our country has stated any trade works or any businesses held using bitcoin will be strictly punished
Sad so i am little afraid of holding my coins too ! that's all..

wow i didn't know bitcoin was announced illegal in your place, sorry to here that it really sucks.

and to answer your question, earning bitcoin through jobs (even small jobs like signature campaigns) may be categorized under a business conducted with bitcoin and fall under the same rules so you have to be careful and do it as anonymously as you can.
3262  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2016, 02:20:34 PM
Off course i think there are allot of people who lost allot of bitcoins and that is because when you lose your password for a wallet or something
Than you can have that kind of moments 1 year ago i had 20 bitcoins in a wallet dont know where it is right now Sad
Wow man how can you digest such loss ! Even 1 year ago the price of bitcoins was very high, and how can you forget about like 5000$ putting them into a wallet ? must be seriously rich dude.

Yup loosing even a small amount of bitcoin is also very disappointing, and loosing 20 bitcoins is a really huge amount, If I would have lost that high amount then I would surely have gone mad.
How you managed such a heavy loss? People used to blabber always if they lose even a very low amount, really hard to digest, I can't earn it even in years.

maybe he is loaded and have many spare bitcoin (money) to throw around that losing 20 bitcoin is nothing for him.

for me even losing 0.01 is a big hit to my finances.
3263  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: July 02, 2016, 01:54:34 PM
bitcoin future seems to be good.
although it is always hard to speculate about bitcoin especially if you want to do it for a far future. but since bitcoin has been growing i think it is safe to say that it will be good for the near future.
3264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: July 02, 2016, 01:45:31 PM
no i have never been so lucky to receive anything at all by incident . although i have received some spam dust as in advertising their scammy doubler site but nothing else.
3265  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: June 30, 2016, 11:53:47 AM
Hey guys,

I was wondering if you keep all your bitcoins in one wallet, or do you use multiple providers/accounts?

I am currently using 3 different wallets, it kinda feels safer not to store everything in once place...

Thoughts?

MC  Smiley

yes i do that too.
but mostly because i have been testing different bitcoin wallets and i have some bitcoin laying around in them.
but in the end i have moved most of my coins to one wallet and that is Electrum because i felt best about this one.
3266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will halving affect gambling sites ? on: June 30, 2016, 11:49:39 AM
How will bitcoin price after halving affect gambling websites that offer 2X and also 3X returns ? will they also turn into a scam ? what is your opinion ?

they may not turn into scam but they will take a big hit if the bitcoin price goes higher.

because just as they reduce the payment for their signature campaign , users will also make smaller bets and many will even quit gambling because their earning is reduced too.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The International 2016 discussion on: June 30, 2016, 11:39:20 AM
i gotta get back in Dota2 again, i have been away for a while and what better time to come back than the international games, i'll be watching this thread.

p.s. add Dota2 in your subject so it shows what this topic is all about.
3268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: June 30, 2016, 11:28:12 AM
you can always achieve a lot more with a bot than you can achieve in your own. just like when you use the autobet of the dice site itself you are using a bot in fact. so imagine having a better bot with a lot more options to change and use different strategies that would be a lot more useful.
3269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: June 30, 2016, 11:25:10 AM
Trading bots do not let you make good profits at all, it can even let you lose a lot of money without any doubts.
I think that such bots are just bad for your profit because they can simply not think the same as you.

well a bot shouldn't be thinking in your place!
for that you need artificial intelligence which is not yet invented except in the movies,

a bot is only making your job easier and you think, and tell the bot to monitor and execute your thoughts, that is all.
3270  Economy / Speculation / Re: BItcoin price after halving on: June 30, 2016, 11:20:08 AM
Any thoughts what price of Bitcoin after halving will up to $800 or down to $500? On june 16th Bitcoin hit $777 highest price since 2014 and today stay between $639 ~ $645

it will never go down to $500 that much is for sure. even if there is a dump and price goes down after the halving because of it it will go down to $580 tops and then it will jump back up to $700

and this year i am generally expecting a huge rise to above $1000 after halving but it will take a longer time.
3271  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 30, 2016, 11:11:23 AM
well if you gonna give 10 btc i will spend it in:
1.30% for Investments

what investment are you planning with 3 bitcoin can you elaborate more on that?

Quote
2.10% for credit card and other debts and rent of my apartment

i don't like this choice because you will end up paying more in fees to the company (third party that issued the card) so you are better spending fiat instead.

Quote
3.5% in Gambling

this is bad especially because it is a large amount of 0.5BTC and you will only lose it in the process.

Quote
4. and the remaining 55% will save it for future

nothing especial here anyways. the easiest way of profiting from bitcoin is just holding it!
3272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I prove I'm Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 30, 2016, 11:06:56 AM
The closest I guess would be a video of him/them talking about specific bitcoin details that can be verified to have been made before making it public and can be proven not to be false of course.

But there would still be doubt

i don't think such details exist!

bitcoin is an opensource project so anybody can know every single detail about it and you can even see the history of commits and changes so all the details are known to the public.
3273  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin casinos have that power to make changes in the price of bitcoin ?? on: June 30, 2016, 11:04:22 AM
As the title says !
Can i get the people attentions to this question please ?
"Do bitcoin casinos have that power to make changes in the price of bitcoin ??"

no, they have no such power to do this.
bitcoin casinos are simply users of bitcoin with small amount of bitcoin compared to big players.
they don't even have enough bitcoin to be considered whales.

besides casinos are not in trading scene to be able to do anything about the price, the owner of one or two may do some trading on the side but that doesn't make casinos traders!
3274  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: June 30, 2016, 11:00:13 AM
Well bitcoin is so safe if you have many bitcoin better to choose a wallet i mean safe wallet that you can store it for a long time..

You are right but i think that if you holding huge amount of money better to use more than one wallet, cause if one of your wallet is hacked, you will not lose everything.

Put it in different baskets. That is what they say. Safer although you dont see a lot of profit from rising when you combine it there will still be some. Others think the other way because they want to see the large profit in it.

putting in different baskets or in other words spreading your investment is not just about having multiple investments but you have to invest in just a couple of them which you can trust and keep track of. because making multiple investments can lead to multiple disasters if you are not aware of all of them at all times.
3275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Price will stay at 654.54$ this June to July on: June 30, 2016, 10:50:07 AM
so far it seems that each hundred dollar level has a sweet spot in the range of x30-x50 dollar where bitcoin price becomes stable at and everybody starts accumulating.

this has been the same with $200 then 300 then 400, we skipped 500 with a short period and now we are stable at $600 level so i wouldn't be surprised if this price stayed the same till the end of July and then a huge movement came.
3276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone bought Bitcoin June 21 when price drop to 660? on: June 30, 2016, 10:45:42 AM
Well I bought some when It dropped at 550$. I think the decision I made because when I sold just when it rised again to near 700$ i got good profit then ill buy back later.  Grin

you did good.
you always have to buy the dips and when you think it is the lowest that it can go. not when it is on top of the rise.
also it is always better to buy when everybody is saying sell or they are doubting things while price is stable.
3277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I prove I'm Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 30, 2016, 10:43:27 AM
Its easy actually, you just need to sign a message from the address holding that 1.000.000 bitcoins you are holding supposedly but since you are asking here, I guess you are not Satoshi and Gavin and Craig Wright are also not Satoshi and the latter one just ashamed himself with his latest lie that he was indeed satoshi.

Unless there is no signed message from the address holding 1 mln coins no one will believe anyone claiming he/she is satoshi. A simple proof can make him reveal his identity but since he has not opted to reveal himself so far, I think he will like to stay that way anonymous.

You seriously think Satoshi's coins are all put into a single wallet containing 1,000,000BTC? He was mining and receiving his 50BTC block rewards on different addresses. Which basically means that the majority of his wealth in Bitcoin sits in many many thousands of wallets containing 50BTC each.
The sad thing is that he may not even be able to convert or use his coins. Imagine if tomorrow, one of the genesis addresses spends some coins. It would mean that 1'000'000 coins were injected into the bitcoin ecosystem. The price would crash since much more bitcoins are available (they were considered as lost).

If satoshi spents some money, he might create one of the biggest crisis in the bitcoin ecosystem.

There's no reason bitcoin price could crash unless Satoshi or whoever has the private key dump 1 million bitcoin to exchange.
The real reason price could crash because people is afraid with Satoshi and some people share FUD Roll Eyes

yeah the only reason that can cause bitcoin price to crash is if satoshi moves those coins and not simply moving, selling them which can cause panic.

but important thing is that this crash would only be temporary and price would soon come back from it even if it was big.
3278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the year 2100 on: June 30, 2016, 10:39:04 AM
in order to say anything about year 2100 and what bitcoin is like by then i have to have a time machine or a future telling orb that i can look inside and see the future, because it is a very far future and none of us will even be alive by then.
3279  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Bitcoin price is too high? on: June 30, 2016, 10:33:54 AM
from these choices i will choose 10,000$ to be too high for bitcoin. although bitcoin is still in the early steps towards success and a lot more profit and higher prices but i think there is a cap for it and that stops at half of this too high price at 5000
3280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: June 26, 2016, 11:45:12 AM
Yup i also think when people with that kind of mind they will make only profit and go without any limit than gambling is problem for sure, we must keep in mind that thing first always take risk with that what we can afford to lose otherwise our life will become more complicated.

Agree, because gambling is only used for fun. and if there are people who do gambling for profit is sure they will have a problem, the more they want to get a bigger profit then the greater the problem they will get. Like addiction, greed, crime, and large losses

but those people are also addicted to gambling who do not spend much money on gambling, as they are wasting a lot of time at there and plus they also use their energy at there which they can use in any other beneficial work.

no that is not right because if you are only gambling for fun then you are not a gambling addict.

you can call it an addiction to gambling only if you are playing it for the money and have no control over the money you are losing in the game.
