Hah, did a little digging, he was trying to use Paypal to buy BTC, no wonder you've been given negative trust. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=873652.msg9657209#msg9657209 - Here's the thread, OP, if you don't want negative trust, don't use paypal, I've bought BTC just using wire transfers over localbitcoins, no one is going to use Paypal because you can easily reverse the transaction on them after they've given the Bitcoins, do us a favour and don't play innocent. In that thread the OP is selling BTC for PayPal; why would he send people BTC and then refund their fiat back to them too? Also, nobody ever seems to get negrated on #bitcoin-otc for trying to pay for BTC with PayPal... should we start?

There is no incentive for any spontaneous order without government.

why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services? if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
It is "ok", because government has power. And the ones who have the most power simply can do what they want, because they can. That is power of the definition. It is not just about governments, it happens across human society. Who has power is the one who has the freedom to use it or not. And the people with power who do not use it lose to other people who use the power, so it is only logical that we are all the time at the edge of totalitarian states. If a group of people whats to oppose government they need sources in the first place. And the sources would be again something like taxes. It can not be voluntary fee, because most people behave that they want free ride. So this is why every revolution against government will fail, because the new opposition will in short time become the same system abusing power. It is really more about the rule of law and what is good for society as a whole. When the government imposes taxes on it's citizens, it is effectively forcing them to pay for things that is good for society as a whole. Systemic, unbridled human rights violations are not good for society as a whole. Most governments do not engage in this kind of behavior. Most governments will attempt to spend their tax dollars on the good of society in good faith. Also most modern day governments that levy taxes are going to be a democracy so if they are not spending they tax revenue effectively the government will be voted out. Every single government does engage in human rights violations, and then immunizes itself via the law and/or kangaroo courts, in bad faith. Every "democracy" on earth refuses to conduct E2EE verifiable elections, which ensures the worst possible evil (that counts the votes, pays the judges and enforcers) cannot be defeated. Stop rejecting reality and substituting your own utopia.

I don't believe in religion or ascension. Death is only an acceptable way to leave "it" in the eyes of those who would see the extinction of the human race.

I can't afford to watch movies.
I'm only talking about a single person going to another world, in response to the "If you don't like it why don't you just leave the country?" BS
It is technologically impossible at this point to be free from "it" (human rights violations).

There is no country that doesn't violate human rights, and there is currently no known way to reasonably commute to earth 2.
Part of the reason for that is most people don't agree what earth 2 should be like. : / Those that have power now certainly don't want change, and the rest of us can't get together and agree on what to do about it. No, the entire reason is that we haven't discovered a nearby wormhole that would allow us to transit light years through warped/folded space in an instant and return through it if no nearby habitable planets were near enough the other end. At light speed, the transit to the nearest possibly habitable planet would still take 20.3 years, which isn't reasonable. IIRC, at speed of, let alone faster than, light travel isn't nearly possible with the combined strength of all nukes on earth.

Since both ryanm and I are in San Diego (but I'm not sure if we've met) and I don't ship internationally, would anyone want to have him handle the international shipping for my stuff at http://fs.tbz1.com ? I'd need to be paid directly in BTC for just the cost of my item before/at time of handover to ryanm. Any other expenses, escrow stuff would be between you and him.

You own yourself and your things.
You have the right to remain unharmed by others, not being pushed around, not being held capture.
You have the right to be left alone with your things.
Every human have these rights, consequently you can not trample on others' rights.
If your rights are violated, you have the right to defend yourself with great force.
You can do everything else as you please.
You can associate with others, but the agents of the association have no more right than you have as an individual. In the association, you have the same ownership of the consequences as you have as an individual.
The above means that there are lots of so called rights, also written in for instance the UN declaration of rights, that are not rights. You don't have the right to curl around the legs of people who use violence to have some spoils.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqrKF9hgHMIWhere are your human rights when the police and the army kill 43 future school teachers... Some countries live in savagery. Do you mean the mexicans should just let their rigths go, because of this? I mean, if the government can easy take your life, that Human rights are nonsense words. This isn't rocket surgery. A government which bans effective self-defense (the prime human right) can democide with impunity.

Would Paypal be able to freeze your account and your bitcoins? I've heard some horror stories about people when keeping large values in paypal.
Definitely would bring it more to the masses for sure though.
Of coarse they would be able too. Unless you and only you know your private key your bitcoins are not yours. What PayPal could do is have you put your BTC address or master public key in there that you generated offline, then when you complete checkout, give you an unsigned TX with your inputs which you would then sign on your own computer (or with some signing device) and give that back to PayPal. PayPal would never control your private keys, only know your addresses to facilitate you getting paid with only your registered email address(es).

Don't give a gift to a celebrity unless they make a donation to a charity you support for it. I was a fan of his show back in the 90s, but it seems like his ego has grown to be astronomical. On one of his "appearances" on StarTalk Radio, he said something non-factual & completely out of his (BS in Mechanical Engineering) field of study, got immediately called on it by an actual expert, and his reaction was not modest but sore loser-ish. It was my "you should never meet your hero" moment and left such a bad taste in my mouth that I haven't downloaded an episode that he's hosted, since.

Can I change my username?
Currently we do not support changing usernames due to security reasons. What? I do not support changing my mind due to security reasons.

Yes, use the same one. Then when you spend the BTC on it, spend the entire amount, and replace it with another donation address.
