I am opening this thread to advertise my new service on vanity bitcoin addresses (something that starts with something like 1Hello). Vanity addresses from me only cost 0.001372 BTC, and can be purchased here.

The only bitcoin address that will be used is: 1Gy4dzN3yhqXENYtbH5H811bhyUTwFp9b1
If you see another bitcoin address just think it is a scam.

Split key should be mandatory: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Split-key_vanity_address

https://www.bitaddress.org > Vanity Wallet tab

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

You had me at scam. STFU and take my bitcoins

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

The OP's Typeform page said to enter your PUBLIC key (for split key generation), not private. It should have been mandatory though, otherwise you'd just be paying for a vanity they'd have to know the full private key to, to then give it to you.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Some bitcoiners like to have an address with their name in it and think it is cool. Smiley

Yeah I'm one of them. But I would never ever buy one from somebody else. Just mine it yourself.

If you have an Nvidia GPU they are very easy to hash out just google "vanitygen" I have like 10+ 1Blazed addresses just for the heck of it.

This should be obvious, but never use a website or anything like that to make a vanity...just do it yourself.

It just takes too much time to generate a vanity address. BTW , if we happen to ask a third party to generate it for us, doesn't he get the private keys automatically?

Yes of course Wink , so if someone want to have  a vanity address  I suggest to generate it  alone with personal pc.

Not exactly - there's split key generation available, where it's possible for them to generate the key for you, and yet keep the private key safe.
