3261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: August 07, 2022, 02:14:04 PM
these young people told me that they got interested because it was their parents who encouraged them to come for me to teach them about what I was doing with bitcoins and their parents said that even though I am not employed or unemployed, I can still pay my monthly billings, rental house, internet bill, electricity, and water bill within 6 years.

So my only request to the other members here in this forum is to teach me what can be taught to them that I may not know at the moment, although I am not an expert here but only basic thing about bitcoin that I share with my acquaintances here in the community I'm in. So you are free to provide additional knowledge on this matter and I am willing to accept it because I am also one of those who are still learning about bitcoin.

You should tell them how you earn with bitcoin and make them aware about what you've been doing for 6 years is not that simple. The only reason why those parents agreed to teach their kids is they think that you can easily earn from it since you are doing it at the comfort of your home. They should be aware that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not a get rich-quick scheme like how some of the investment schemes portray it.
3262  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your fill the bag Bitcoin price? on: August 07, 2022, 01:03:26 PM
So am putting this question to you what is your set price to buy more bitcoin during this dip?

Bitcoin has been stable for few days now so prices below $25k is a good buy to me. I just continue to accumulate using some of my monthly salary while we are at bear season. Since we are just at the early phase of this market cycle, it would be good if bitcoin would drop somewhere between $10-12k before the next bull run so I can afford even just half of it. I wasm't able to accumulate from the previous 2 bull runs due to some financial reasons so I'm making sure that the next market cycle will give me some good amount of profit since I am earning enough from my job now.
3263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Online Gambling Streamers Ever Get Addicted to Gambling? on: August 07, 2022, 12:08:18 PM
I have heard about online streamers and how they spend hours at their computer screen gambling and winning huge amounts of money. It looks fun because they get to earn money doing something they love.

Do they always win during their livestreams? Are we certain that those are not just for promotion when they manage to win huge amount of money? I don't believe they are always winning when gambling because if they do, they must have some agreement between the casino that they will let him win to deceive people to use their platform which will definitely ruin his career if his viewers found out what he did.

I can't help but wonder if online gambling streamers ever get addicted to gambling. What do you think? And can the viewers who watch these streams tell if the streamer is addicted to gambling by observing some physical symptoms such as pale skin, weight gain/loss, acne and dark circles under the eyes?

Everyone is suspectible to gambling addiction. A famous person that is addicted to gambling won't show his audience that he is in that condition and those physical symptoms are not enough to say the person is addicted,
3264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 07, 2022, 11:11:29 AM
What could have attracted cryptocurrency tourists to El Salvador if not bitcoin? So I think the wall street journal article covered a small part of El Salvador hotels.

Bitcoin did really make El Salvador a popular country but that is not the only reason why tourists are going on that country. According to the link below, their country has many beaches, volcanoes, and historical ruins that are worth visiting. Tourists would enjoy their trip there since it is less crowded compared to other neighboring countries.

3265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man Collapses after Allegedly Losing a $400 Loan at a Betting Shop on: August 07, 2022, 10:04:48 AM

The man from the story have some high-level of addiction for him to be able to do that. He is too focused with the possible return that can give him and didn't thought of any risks in gambling a borrowed money. His relatives should take him to a specialist that can help him about his current condition. If he takes a loan again from someone and lose it, it would put his life in danger and also his relatives if the creditor of money will do some bad intention against them.
3266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 06, 2022, 07:35:00 AM
Lots have shocked but it was claimed that only a few had left after Roobet did make out such changes. Its true that we never really that prefer on having KYC because crypto market shouldnt really be that way

Cryptocurrencies itself are decentralized but businesses or insitution are owned by a private entity so we really need to comply to those regulations if they require it on their platform. Criminals will make it a hotspot for their illegal activities if they don't do it.

but since platforms are regulated then it would be understandable that they would really be having that kind of possible changes which is something that wont really be surprising.

Even into those current sites or platforms we do have today then this is something that could potentially happen in near future.

Whether we like it or not, these KYC's are really neccessary in order to use those platforms comfortably. Businesses need to comply to AMLC which requires the identity of the clients in their business.

When did billiard was classified as a casino game? Luck is not neccessary in billiards. The gambling part of it is what we called sportsbetting like what we do to other games like basketball or soccer.

Most games on a casino highy depends on luck and doesn't require some skill to win so they can't really be considered a sport unlike poker which involves some skill like bluffing that can make you win even if you have the bad card. And according to the link below, poker is currently the only form of gambling to be considered as a sport.

3268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you introduce Bitcoin to people without digital literacy? on: August 05, 2022, 02:01:46 PM
For days now, I have exhaustively given explanations to them about what the forum is all about and how it works. Even clearly establishing to them to the extent I know about Bitcoin currency and how the system operates but seems like I was speaking to them in a different language, one that's confusing entirely. And I currently don't know any means to use in explaining to them what I know.

This is what i've experienced when I was at college when my classmates are asking me how do I earn from this bitcoin stuff and this forum. No matter how hard or how simple I explain to them, they still don't understand it because they are not really interested about what is bitcoin. They are only interested on the "earning" part. What I did was I only give them the answer they want, no further explanation anymore until they stopped asking me about it.

If they are really interested about learning bitcoin, they will research it themselves about the technical stuff and will only ask about your personal experiences with it so they can learn from you.
3269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe ? on: August 05, 2022, 10:53:58 AM
I actually wanna do p2p trading on binance . I wanna know how much it's safe . And is there any better option from P2P trading?

It's safe as long as you do p2p on those people with yellow check marks which means they are verified. Always remember that do not release the funds as long as you do not confirm that you have verified it. There are people that send screenshots that looks like they already send you the money but are really fake. I've done it many times using different mode of payment but didn't experienced any issues so far.
3270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading more efficiently on: August 05, 2022, 07:24:09 AM
Hi I would like to know what do you use to trade cryptocurrencies as efficiently as possible (applications, software etc) or some tips.

I don't use any applications or software that will help me in trading, I don't find it neccessary now availing those trading which will automate my trades. I still prefel manual trading as I keep learning more from doing it.

And how do you organize your setup, monitors...right now I am using a not very big monitor...and finally is there any way to change the background of the screen in the exchanges when trading?

You don't need some fancy setups to trade properly. As long as you're comfortable with what you have and able to earn from trading then a 24 inch single monitor is already enough. I only have one monitor with that size but I use 2 windows when trading, half screen for charts and the other half for placing trades.
3271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Spinomenal Series Tournament 🏆 100,000 USDT prize pool on: August 05, 2022, 06:33:14 AM
But in the end, p2p could be or could not be a great addition, but I know for a fact that if it was loved and requested by many, eventually they will do it.

Is this something like a player vs player type of game? If so, this could really become popular as it will bring out the competitive side among gamblers. More people will enjoy gambling not only those who are casual gamblers because they can challenge someone that they want to beat on that particular game. I remember the online tetris back in the days where people compete how much line combos they can make within a time limit.
3272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 05, 2022, 05:37:18 AM
People who are doing illegal things will not be bothered by the fact that some casino is asking KYC, its really not their biggest problem. There are a ton of them who doesn't and if they want to straight up gamble or use it to launder their money, they totally could do that without the KYC part of roobet and wouldn't be sad about it. However regular people who are bothered by it will be subjected to it as well and thats the type of people that they bother with KYC, because regular people who have absolutely nothing to do with laundering will have to do it. I do not see how that is fair when you look at all those casinos without KYC requirement at all.
If players have objections to KYC can look for other casinos that don't implement it at all but will probably face a lot of things that are also unpleasant for the player, yes it does seem unfair that normal/good players should face the same thing as players who may have bad intentions but that's the rules will be applied evenly.

Even if he manages to found a casino that doesn't require KYC, he would still need to do it once he won or wagered some big amounts. Casinos will not just let you withdraw your winnings without verifying your identity, they want to make sure that their user has no criminal records. If they let you withdraw some huge amounts, they can be liable if you use that money for your bad intentions even if it's not related to the gambling business.
3273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you assess the value of Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2022, 11:06:33 AM
How do you (personally) decide when Bitcoins are a buy? - gut feeling, just DCA to a certain amount, only buying below 25,000 or ...?

Since we are in bear market, I use the 70% of the amount left from my monthly salary to buy whatever bitcoin's price at that time, while I save the remaining 30% for further dips below $18k because I don't believe we've already hit the bottomw and we are just at early phase of bear market  Bitcoin has been consolidating at $20k-23k for few days now so accumulating at this price is not a bad choice for me.
3274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you stop gamble if your girl friend insists ? on: August 04, 2022, 07:28:30 AM
If it doesn't compromise my personal responsibilities, I don't see any reason to stop gambling even if she tells me to stop it. Gambling is fine for me because it can reduce the stress we experience in daily life and as long as it is done in moderation. It just became a stereotype that gambling is bad because of the people that ruins their life because of it. If the opposite happens like my girlfriend does gambling, I won't stop her as long as I see her enjoying it for pure pleasure and not seeing her getting addicted.
3275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 04, 2022, 06:34:02 AM
Stake Never forced anyone to do KYC because gambling definitely requires an account which is just an offer. That's why gambling An account is authorized to open an account so that you can do everything from making money to withdrawing money in cryptocurrency. But the Stake Just for account opening It was said.

Stake doesn't force, but it encourage users to do KYC providing additional bonus. This is a good way to have a difference between the verified users and the one without KYC. Users who look for freedom doesn't do this and the one who doesn't care for it can do KYC and enjoy the additional bonuses.

Giving additional bonus upon complying with the KYC is a good idea from Stake. Even if there are people who are afraid doing KYC, gambling businesses will still implement it because it is needed to maintain their licenses and also to protect their platform away from criminals. People don't need to be afraid complying to KYC as long as the website is reputable.
3276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐️Share Your Winnings Story. Why do people gamble?⭐️ on: August 04, 2022, 05:28:25 AM
Why do people play in casinos? For the sake of adrenaline? Self-satisfaction?

For the sake of winning! It is the generous winnings that encourage players to bet in the casino and take risks over and over again in the hope of catching luck by the tail.

Money will always be the main reason why people gamble. Gambling business won't thrive if it was never involved to it. People are easily tempted to gamble because it is easier and more enjoyable to earn money from it rather than doing a stressful job.

For gamblers that says they do it only for fun, I'm pretty sure there are other things they like to do that can give them the same satisfaction, it's just the possibilities of giving them some return that they prefer gambling.

Should we allow or support internet sensations to fight in the ring

Personally, I don't like supporting these type of matches unless the revenue goes to a charity. Most of the time, influencers just do those matchups for the sake of clout. The influencers will create a scripted issue, make it look serious, hype it on social media then settle it on a fighting match. Organizers also take advantage of it because of the influencers' big fanbase that can generate them a huge amount of profit.

If you are not lactose intolerant, powdered milk could be a good alternative to still have proper intake of calcium and can also be used when eating cereals. Since you're diabetic, find a product of that is low in sugar. Fresh egg can last a couple of days and it's also quick and easy to cook. Canned tuna has no carb but rich in protein so it can be a great addition if you can eat those type of food.
3279  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GCash offering crypto services soon on: August 01, 2022, 11:28:28 AM

3280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: August 01, 2022, 10:12:11 AM
instant profit at the first time and short term holding is kinda difficult, instead if you want easy profit you could just trade futures.

OP is asking for a short-term profit not easy profit. Suggesting futures trading is a dumb thing to do. He will not be able to recover his money anymore if he tries and lose from it.

Since the market is in a relief rally right now, buying any top altcoins like MATIC, BNB, ETH or just BTC can give you quick profit in few weeks or days if the current market condition continues.

But if you really plan to invest into cryptocurrencies for long term, you should not rely your financial investments to anyone. Always DYOR to avoid blaming someone when you lose from it.
