OP updated: Only two left for direct purchase.
Auctions will start when/if I get positive feedback from the first buyers. So probably not before mid/late October.

I love these coins but (in the foreseeable future) probably will never be able to afford them.
Good luck with that auction...  Smiley

New picture.

Pretty cool work, again!
Will add it to the colelction soon, as well as some of your other posts you recently created. (https://imgur.com/a/JYFPM)

hi

How to set up solo mining btx?
Unless you got several powerful rigs I really wouldn't recommend to solo mine, chances are you will mine without finding a block for a very long time... days... maybe weeks.
Just use one of the pools listed in the OP.

3268  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: October 08, 2017, 01:14:43 AM
I know guys I feel terrible about all of this. I feel let down by almost every one of my suppliers. I'm trying to stay optimistic and at the same time am dreading having to go through any or all of these issues in the future. I can say I have done everything within my power, including going way over budget on every aspect of this project. I am shipping what I can, and while you might see someone with 10 moon bars already in hand, they are more than likely waiting for 10 more. This project has taken every ounce of my energy to complete and I won't rest until it is finished. The latest word from the mint is that the replacement coins have been struck and are currenty being enameled. I'm tired of waiting just like those of you who still are.
Please don't feel discouraged by the stepping stones that are sometimes thrown in the artist's way. Obviously I cannot determine the extent of issues you had to deal with.
However I can definitly say your work is amazing and most if not all of us hope you will continue your journey of bitcoin artworks for many years to come.
3269  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Unique crypto artwork: The Great Bitcoin Hatching - limited first release! on: October 07, 2017, 05:05:02 PM
#0111 for me please
Thank you very much, gocoins. 0111 is now reserved for you.

Really neat, I like the artwork and the material sounds solid.  Looking forward to seeing the final print.  Smiley
Thanks! I will keep you posted and provide photos soon.

A short update: In the OP I forgot to mention that the mounting of the image will be drilled through each corner of the image via a steel round, keeping the image at a distance of almost 20mm to the wall.
I had looked at samples of all the available solutions and this seemed most interesting to me.
However there are other options available, you will be able to choose freely or even order without mounting if you have an individual solution in mind.
Also, good news, the finished product should arrive shortly, maybe even next Monday, probably Tuesday.

what was the pump like 3 weeks ago.
i mean what was the reason it pumped like crazy.
i am glad i got out of 20 k sat.
may go in again if falls below 10k.
it is very much like to go below 10k sat in october.
Wasn't one of the reasons the annoucement of the big airdrop? Not sure, I'm more interested in the longer perspective, not following every spike.
Imo it only needs one or two whales buying in with 25+ BTC and the prices can rise quickly. Probably what happend back then. These sudden pumps aren't too healthy, because usually some people will "take profits" causing a temporary dump again. I prefere the steady holding/slow rise we are experiencing for a few weeks right now. Seems much more healthy.
Personally I expect a steady growth over the long run, especially when all the bitcoin-hard fork hype is over and people slowly start looking for more stable options with longevity in mind.
Time will tell, hodl will win. Just my personal opinion. ;>

3277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: October 06, 2017, 06:44:36 PM
Hello,

Does anybody know which wallets plan to support the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) friendly fork on October 1st? And what, if anything, should be done by the user?

Just follow this https://twitter.com/btcgpu you will get your answer. The Fork will be held on 25th October and Bitcoin holder will receive BitcoinGold in first November. Hold BTC on 10.25 get free BTG on 11.1. I am confusing about where can I keep my Bitcoin for the fork?

Well supposedly my bitcoin CASH is still on my orig bitcoin chain (bitcoin core) as I did not go thru the process of moving it off since the snapshot...thus if you leave the wallet alone

(stall) you can probably get by. Myself, I don't want to convert the snapshot on any fork to crypto in that would be, imho, a 'taxable event' for the IRS at the snapshot date. I'm hoping

if I just frigging leave it alone, the IRS will treat it like a stock split you sell it you pay 20% capital gains after a year and a day etc (2013 IRS guidelines on cryptocurrency)

Just because people are forking and tossing supposed $$$ at my blockchain (the bitcoin cash snapshot is 280 bucks I think) does not mean I have to move it yet.

or so I assume....for now

Interesting take on the matter.

So you plan to hold a year and hope you can still sell it then and only have to tax 20%?
How high would be taxes for Americans if you sold right away? Isn't that probably the better choice considering there is a high chance BCash will drop significantly within a year?

Hello. I use a translator. I need help. I have a Ledger Nano. I can not sign my Bitcoin messages. He tells me. ('your device can only use a derivation path starting by 0' / 0xb11e ')). I do not know what to do. Thank you for your help...

Bonjour. J'utilise un traducteur. J'ai besoin d'aide. J'ai un Ledger Nano. Je ne peux pas signer mes messages Bitcoin. Il me dit. ((your device can only use a derivation path starting by 0'/0xb11e')). Je ne sais plus quoi faire. Merci pour votre aide...

There is nothing you can do. Except writing to the Ledger support and expressing your frustration.
I have the same problem using this "old" ledger. I am not a dev, but implementing a signing function shouldn't take thaaat much effort. Pretty unhappy with the fact that they are not supporting this verison of Ledger anymore, I mean it is only a few years old. It's one of the reasons I prefere Trezor, my confidence in them supporting older products is higher.

For those not beeing able to claim their BTX from the last snapshot, bear in mind a new snapshot will be taken on 30th of October!
Just make sure for your Bitcoin to be in control of your private keys and/or have a working function to sign a message. If you are not sure if your wallet supports this, just google "walletXYZ sign message". The one I know support signing are:
Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Electrum.
I think blockchain.info does support signing, too, but not 100% sure, and there are several others for sure.

Is there anyone know when will we register the BTX address? I remembered it will start from early October but not found in website.
You do not need to register your wallet for now. This was not an announcement yet.

Thanks. Got it.
Just found it is in discussing and voting time. Grin

Don't worry. Just check this thread from time to time and the first page and you should be fine. If the news is out how to register your address we will fire on all communication channels, no-one will miss out. You can also have a look at Telegram, slack, facebook, steemit etc., but bitcointalk should suffice.

Same goes for the final decisions for distribution and airdrops, we will give our best to inform all of our BTX-enthusiats and hodlers.

Meanwhile here is a small teaser for a few upcoming artworks: https://imgur.com/dGEZkWt
Unfortunatelly I can only access higher res versions when I am back in my office next week.
