It was nice to see Arsenal get back to back wins, they sure needed the points.  As it stands, the Gunners haven't lost a match in 2020.  They have quite a few winnable games coming up.  Away for the Spurs and City, and home for LFC are all going to be tough, but they should be able to score some points out of the rest.  It'll be disappointing to say the least if they don't make it to the Europa League.

I just found this topic on Reddit, to which stick replied: https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/a5husy/trezor_mini/

It looks like he thinks it's a scam.  So maybe it's not just a mere copy, there could be some malicious intent.  That wouldn't surprise me at all.

Bernie has dominated Nevada - nearly 50% albeit still counting. Whatever DNC conspiracy might be going on it doesn't look very successful so far. Biden in distant second place with ~20% and Pete (third) is complaining about "irregularities".

But will the DNC give him their nomination?  I don't know that they have to, regardless of whether he wins the majority of votes or not.  Anyway it was surprising to see Biden take second, albeit a distant second.  It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens on super Tuesday.

Interesting thing I noticed while looking up the results on google; as the graphic below shows 60% tally is in, but only 7,652 people voted in the Democratic primary, which seems rather low.  I don't know if they mean 60% of the counties have reported, and Clark County (Nevada's most populous by a large margin) might not be among them?

I saw the game today, watched it with a mate, and yeah, felt horrible watching those goals go in.

That penalty on Foster at the end of the first half, then having that goal denied to start the second seemed to take the wind out of their sails.  Those last two goals by UTD were tough to watch.  Bitter loss, for sure.  Watford still has quite a few winnable games coming up.  I'm afraid LFC is not likely to be one but there's still a good chance they'll escape relegation.
3285  Economy / Lending / Re: Small Loan of 0.03 BTC Needed. Repaying 0.04 Within 7 Days! Collateral Also! on: February 23, 2020, 10:55:17 PM
None of the items you listed will equate to collateral.

  • ISP access can be retrieved through social engineering.
  • Websites are never worth what you dream they are worth.
  • Identifications are easily forged, faked, stolen.
  • Legal documents with fake, forged, or stolen IDs are worthless.

You will not qualify for a loan without collateral, so you're better off locking this thread.

I have been chatting with SatoshiLabs CTO about it a bit today. He said he saw these come around a little ways back and they were being actively sold. The first link you provided shows one turned on..not that bad looking. They are open source, but you sure as heck can’t just use the name and logo as well like this.

I thought I had heard about this before, but I couldn't remember the source.  I seem to recall reading that the Trezor has been imitated before, or at least had the their hardware configuration copied in exact detail.  I've also heard that the KeepKey is essentially a copy of the Trezor One.

Regardless, a company that obviously attempts to mislead their customers by appropriating the name of another doesn't instill a lot of trust.

That's a hell looking clone of trezor

Downright fugly if you ask me.  Undecided

I excluded you because you excluded me for defending myself against false accusations. Much like with Direwolfm14, it demonstrates to me you are more worried about silencing people with legitimate grievances to avoid conflict than what is right.

If you are going to continue to make accusations against me, please provide substantive evidence.

I have never shied away from explaining my inclusions or exclusions, and every time it's brought up I've explained yours.  There was a time (about a year ago) when I had you included in my trusted list.  Then something happened that caused me to really scrutinize my trust list a bit more thoroughly.  Someone popped up on DT2 that really surprised me, at first I thought it was a bug, and I even started a thread about it.

But then I found the connection and made an adjustment to my trust list which I felt was necessary.

ETA:
I found the connection, I guess I didn't realize the depth of trusted users.

It wasn't personal, it had nothing do with whether I trusted you or not.  It was solely due to your inclusions, which lead me to conclude your judgement for inclusions is in conflict with mine.  And again, that's the only reason I excluded you when you finally made it to DT1.  I didn't want your inclusions to influence the reviews I see.  I've explained myself many times, and provided this evidence before, which you continue to ignore when spinning your narrative.

The real reason you excluded me was because I excluded you.  In fact, you excluded me from yours mere hours after I adjusted mine.  It was retaliation, pure and simple.  Any other excuse you suggest is a demonstrable lie.

The way I used my trust list is exactly how it should be used, the way you suggest it should be used in your OP.  The trouble is you're not following your own standards.  And furthermore, you attack belittle, and flat out insult anyone who does follow your standards, but doesn't agree with your inclusions.

The trust system is subjective, it relies on people using their own judgement, and picking people who's judgement they trust.  It's not right or wrong, it's their judgement.  I've never asked you (or anyone else) to revise your trust list, because even if I disagree with some of your inclusions or exclusions, I don't believe it's any of my business.

So, again, please provide substantive evidence if you are going to claim you know why I excluded you and especially when it conflicts with reality.  Or better yet, stop lying about it.  It only forces me to expose your own narcissism and hypocrisy.

How about this legend? Surely most of us can't forget Cheesy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg

Lol, I'm certain I'll never forget.  When I was somewhat young my dad would allow my brother and I to watch that show with him, my mom hated it.  I can't hear that song without conjuring up images of beautiful bare breasted British birds bouncing and bouncing and bounce....

Remember, it was United who started Watford's surge up out of relegation with that super 5 or 6 game streak without losing. Mind you, they've still been collecting points recently, just only dropping 2 points and snatching draws out of the jaws of victory with impossible own goals and penalties given away.

Maybe they just like giving their fans something to fight for all the way til the end eh?

No need to ask me who I'm parlaying this weekend with Liverpool =D Love the wins United have for me as underdogs but this one is Watford's!

I like Watford to at least pull out a draw.  UTD can be hot and cold, and one never knows which team is going to show up, but LFC_Bitcoin is right about them likely to be tired.  A win for the Hornets would be huge right now.  I doubt they can spur another 5 game win streak with LFC up next, but looking at the rest of their games I could see them earning quite a few points before the end of the season.

I hope City loses this game against Leicester, they deserve to lose 20-0 just for wearing those godawful uniforms.
3290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: February 22, 2020, 05:42:34 PM
I think the biggest part of the debate last night is something the msm isn't covering too much.  The 5 candidates who all said they would be OK with taking the nom away from the person with a plurality of delegates.  No rational person that thinks they will have the plurality would say yes to that question, they all know full well (except Bernie of course) they are not getting to Milwaukee with a plurality or they would be like FUCK NO of course the person with a plurality should win it.

It's getting painfully obvious that the DNC is panicking.  The fact that they let Bloomberg on the debate stage is a sign of their panic.  He's not even on the Nevada ballot, yet there he was, having bought himself a $420,000 pedestal, and it didn't even come with a box.

I think Buttigieg planted the seed, when he talked about giving the nomination to a "real Democrat."  I'm pretty sure he was specifically referring to Sanders, who isn't a real Democrat, and the DNC isn't likely to give him the nomination.  Or, lets just say that I don't believe they will.

The other very interesting thing I'm seeing since the last debate; the story about the leaked information that Russia is melding in a way that may help Bernie.  It's the same stories we've heard about Trump.  The same tactics they used to discredit Trump are being employed against Bernie.  They fear Sanders for the same reason they fear Trump, neither care to propagate the swamp, and want to end the status quo of the Ruling Class.

The similarities are striking, and I hope they don't go unnoticed.  Remember, Trump was not particularly popular within the Republican party, and still has his detractors within those ranks.  The criticism against him was also largely similar, i.e. he's not a real Republican.

If one positive comes from this I hope it will be that Liberals finally see the MSM for what they truly are; the propaganda arm of the DNC.  Even if you are a Democrat I hope you can see this for the clear and present danger which it is.

If the nomination is stolen from Bernie, then the Democratic party will implode. Nature abhors a vacuum, though, and we will not see the Republicans win every single race from now until the end of time. Instead, in 4-8 years we will hopefully see a completely changed Democratic party, and I'm hoping that this will be a more worthwhile one. Probably it won't be one that I particularly approve of, and maybe it'll be even worse than now, but I'd like to roll those dice and hope for an improvement.

Even though Sanders is winning the vote counts, i don't think his vision of a socialist America is all that popular with most Democrats.  There's a wide field of moderate Democrats in this race, and combined they are getting far more votes than Bernie.  It doesn't solve the issue you laid out, but I think the DNC will use that as an excuse to give the nomination to someone else.

I don't think the Democrat's current direction is particularly helpful.  They need to move away from being the "Trump Opposition" party and start focusing on the things that matter to Americans.  If only they could just accept the results of the 2016 election and move on...

3291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: February 22, 2020, 04:52:33 PM
The ESPN article seems to suggest that there's support for adding one more team to the playoffs while limiting the bye week to the top seed.  That one I can see getting pushed through.  What owner doesn't want to increase the odds of his team getting in?  That seems like a no-brainer.  I like this proposal, myself.  As a fan, it would be cool to see more playoff games, they can be quite entertaining and tend to produce the best football.

There's been talk of reducing the number of preseason games and expanding the regular season for quit a while now.  To be honest, with all the fear about injuries and concussions, I thought it would never happen.  I was surprised by this news that the proposal has gotten this far.  It's still going to be debated, and I believe the owners' votes have to be unanimous, so it may not happen.

One of the reasons I find it surprising is due to scheduling issues.  How will each team's 17th opponent be determined?  Right now there's a symmetry to the scheduling path that I imagine would be hard to duplicate with a 17th game.

Currently:
  • Each team plays their division rivals twice.
  • Each division is matched with two others, one AFC and one NFC (rotating annually.)
  • And finally, each team is matched up with the two intra-conference teams that finished the previous season at the same table position within their respective division.

This system works great for the ever elusive "parity" that the NFL seems desperate to achieve.  As it stands each team's schedule consists of only two teams that their division rivals aren't playing against.  For example: this past season the teams of the NFC west played all the teams from the NFC south and AFC North.  The only teams the 49ers played that the Seahawks, the Rams, and the Cardinals didn't play are the Packers and the Redskins.  That means each team within a division plays twelve games against common opponents, which helps to assess a team's strengths within it's division, and can be used for tie breakers when needed.

I'd be curious to see the proposal for 17 games, and see how it recommends the 17th opponent be selected.

3292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: making my own HD paper wallet on: February 22, 2020, 03:19:27 PM
Don't trust any keys that are generated on a website.  I'm not claiming Coinb.in is a malicious site that will steal you coins, but there's no way to confirm if they are storing the information, along with IP address logging, and who knows what else.

The Ian Coleman tool suggest by LoyceV can be downloaded, initiated right from your hard drive, and run on a computer that isn't connected to the internet.  That's a much more secure way of generating a new private key.

But, unless you want to hodl all your coins, a paper wallet is really impractical.  It can be used to generate new addresses if you use the Xpub to create a watch only wallet with software like Electrum, but if you want to spend one of those transactions you'll have to import the private key.  That means exposing your seed or Xpriv key, and again I would only do that on an off-line machine.  It can be done, but it's going to be a pain.

If you do want to transact with coins regularly, then I suggest a hardware wallet is more practical for your needs.
3293  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Yes, the Keepkey is a worthless black bricklet on: February 20, 2020, 07:53:27 PM
with the Trezor ONE it's relatively simple... if somewhat vulnerable to keylogging.

Any KeepKey owners can comment? Do you put it in with the device or via the computer keyboard like Trezor One?

Yes, the KeepKey is compatible with Bip39 passphrase, and it's pretty simple to set up using Electrum or the Chrome extension.  I have not tried to use the ShapShift app set up passphrases, so I don't know if that's possible.

In the Chrome extension you click on the gear (settings) and, IRRC it's under the advanced menu.

In Electrum you click on the little KeepKey logo in the bottom right had corner of the window, which will bring up the hardware wallet's settings dialog box.  You can manage your pin and your Bip39 passphrase under the "Advanced" tab.  Once the passphrase has been established, to log into passphrase enabled wallet files a dialog box will pop up on the host computer for you to enter your passphrase.  You do so by entering it into the keyboard, just like with the Trezor One.

3295  Other / Meta / Re: The Objective Standards Guild - Testimonium Libertatem Iustitia on: February 19, 2020, 04:08:06 PM
Core tenets:

1. A standard of evidence of theft, violation of contractual agreement, or violation of applicable laws shall be documented in an objective and observable way before negative rating or flagging users.

2. Accusations without some form of documentation should be minimal.

3. Users who regularly and repeatedly ignore these standards should be excluded from trust lists.

4. Users who follow these standards should be included in trust lists.

5. Users who are subjected to accusations and ratings without any form of documentation should be defended and supported as much as possible.

I don't care to make this about me when it's so obviously all about you.  But, do provide me with one instance, just one where I've tagged or flagged someone without providing evidence.

What I'm really trying to do here is provide "an objective and observable way" to prove your hypocrisy.  You didn't add me to your exclusion list because of inappropriate  tags or flags, you excluded me because I excluded you.  It was retaliation.  Prove me wrong?

@nc50lc Good point, the OP may have changed some hardware a while back, and didn't connect the issue with Electrum as possibly related.

Sort of off topic and sort of not; I've never had anything but issues when switching brands of GPUs without a complete nuke and reinstall of the OS.  Supposedly if you plug the old GPU back in, uninstall the driver and any ancillary software, shut down, and then plug in the new one, things might work right.  I've never been so lucky.  My issues are usually CAD software related.  YMMV.

A complete overhaul of the OS couldn't hurt the OP's chances of fixing his issue.  A bit extreme, I know.

Could we move the thread back in the meanwhile?

Like Hilariousetc said, you can move it back yourself.  There's a button on the lower left-hand side of the page that allows you to move threads you created.  But there's a risk that the thread will be flagged, and moved again my a moderator.  If you keep conflicting with the mods you may eventually get banned, so the risk is up to you.

If you do move it back to the services section, I suggest you remove the "low risk - high reward" wording from the title, and remove any mention of potential returns.  You can advertise previous returns, if you want.  If you continue to advertise expected returns people might mistake that as a promise or guarantee of sorts, and that is misleading.  That's probably why your thread got flagged and moved in the first place.

Scrutinize your post and be very careful leave out any wording that may be construed by a potential client as an expectation of returns.

Shouldn't this be in Reputation?

Well, it appears my gang affiliations are still secret, and it's a good thing.  If I were exposed you would all become liabilities, and I really don't want to have to kill again.  It's not the killing so much as I'm running out places to hide the bodies.  <sigh>

Before you report me to the moderators for death threats, you should ask yourself: "Can I take a joke?"

Well, can you?  Punk?

His wife cannot hide the black spots under her eyes with make up. She clearly is very tired from taking care of those kids hehehe.

I hope she has a nanny or 9.  That younger boy looks like he might need two nannies just to keep an eye on him alone.

Would Rivers have a better career if he did not play for the Chargers? I read his history and it appears his team did not utilize his prime properly.

Yes, and yes.  For decades the Chargers were based in a fairly small market that's blessed with great weather all year.  Not the prime environment to foster a lot of football fans, which doesn't help revenue.  They haven't really had much to brag about in the coaching department since Marty Schottenheimer.  The culture of the organization seems determined to put too much emphasis on the quarterback, without putting much effort into other positions.  I do believe Rivers would have done better on a different team.

The move to LA will likely help in the long run, but they need to start winning to attract some more fans.
