Some city slicker decided he'd had enough of the rat-race.  He sold his Park Avenue apartment, and bought a few acres out in the country to start a farm.  Once he got the place set up, he decided he needed an animal to help with the labor, and since he liked fresh eggs for breakfast, chickens were also in order.

He went to the animal auction, and told the manager what he was looking for.  The manager pointed to an animal, and said "That's what you need, it'll carry your tools out the field and help carry your harvest back to your barn."

"Perfect," the new farmer said, "Is that a donkey?"
"Yes," the manger said, "but around here we call it an 'ass' and this one has a peculiarity.  Once in a while it likes to stop along the side of the road and graze on the grasses it finds there.  All you have to do is scratch it behind the ears and it'll listen to you again."

"Okay," the man said, "Thanks for letting me know.  I also want to raise chickens for eggs, so I guess I'll need a rooster and a hen."
The manager looked at him funny, and said "Oh you want young ones, and around here we call them a cock and a pullet."

The new farmer thanked the manager, paid for his new live stock, tucked the young chickens under his arms, and commanded the donkey to follow behind.  On his way home he noticed a beautiful young lady coming towards him.  Just as he was about to bid her good morning, he notice his donkey had stopped a few yards back to graze on the side of the road.  So, instead of bidding the young lady good morning, he said "excuse me miss, would you please hold my cock and pullet while I scratch my ass?"

It's going to take a shitton of shitposts to get myself into negative numbers.  Maybe I need to take up plagiarizing entire chapters of War and Peace.

Okay, since I'm permanently banned, I guess I'll just squander all my merits on shit posts.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jeffery Epseitn, his client list, and his ties to Israel on: March 29, 2024, 06:42:43 PM
It's been three months since the depositions, and despite the evidence not a single person on Epstein's client list has been charged with a crime.  But, the "deep state" is a conspiracy theory.  You know what the actual conspiracy theory is?  Everything reported by the main stream media, that's what.  It's nothing but distractions and obfuscation to keep you from learning about the crimes of those in power.

And who are those in power?  It's easy to tell, just look to whom you cannot criticize.

Epstein is not the only one who was running a blackmail ring for the Zionist Mafia.  Sean Combs is the latest to face allegations that he's been collecting blackmail material at the behest of his music industry handlers.  Care to guess what their ethnic and religious background is?

I'll admit, that even though I have family in the West Bank, and even though I've been hearing these horrific tales for decades about the way Palestinians are treated, I found many of them hard to believe.  However, the recent events have shaken my belief system to it's core.  It's become so obvious in recent months that almost everything we've been told about Palestine by Western main stream media is a lie.  There is evil in this world, it's taken on the form of Zionism.  As an American tax payer I'm repulsed by that fact that I'm funding it.

AIPAC and their propaganda arm, the ADL have taken hold of the American political system.  They are the only foreign lobbies that do not have to register as such.  No politician can work to undermine them and expect to remain in position.  No candidate can speak against them and expect to win a seat.  I don't know how, but they must be stopped in order for Palestine to become a free and find peace.

How do they expect defenders to tackle from now on, like really? I understand it can lead to some nasty injuries but that's part of the game, freak accidents happen. This is dumb.

edit;

and we have the gay xfl kickoff thing approved too...

It's amazing how lame the game can be sometimes.  In the early days of professional football the two leagues didn't have so many injuries.  Padding was minimal and the players wore leather helmets.  The gear they wear these is use more like weaponry than personal protective equipment.  The speed of the game has increased, but I think that's also a function of the more secure padding.

I often wonder what the game would look like if the league were to use Rugby style padding and helmets.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: March 29, 2024, 04:49:23 PM
Heh wow,  you sure got raked over the coals by the post miners (people who've sold their account to scammers who then abuse them).  I'll never understand the point of no collateral crypto loans based soley on "forum cred".  Most retarded thing I've ever seen heh.  "Forum cred" is about as useful as used ass paper.  Looks like TYM and ASU really took u for a ride.  Just be grateful they didnt hit u with the other accounts they bought.  You probably should have just put everything on 00 and let it ride.  At least the odds would have been better.

Man, you must have been seriously bored to bump this three-plus year old thread.

You go ahead and gamble your money in a casino if that's that fits your risk profile, and I'll gamble on human nature.  Out of those two is one more condemnable than the other?  Is one a sin, and the other rewarded in spirit and conscious?  I'll let you choose which is which.

The tragedy would be gambling more than we can afford to lose, and putting our family at risk.  Alhamdulillah, that's not the case in my situation.
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bisq - Exchange, Decentralized. on: March 19, 2024, 03:21:55 PM
multiple user profiles can be created in the same Bisq client with one Bisq node.

This is a huge upgrade, in my opinion.  Adding lightning functionality and submarine swaps will help maintain privacy also.  I plan to play around with it soon, learn the new features.  I'm looking forward to seeing it as the official release.

Salam alaykum, wa rahmat Allah, wa barakatu.  Alhamdulillah.

May peace and the protection and blessings of God be upon you.

The first day of Ramadan starts at 14:45 UTC time on March 10th.  During this month of fasting and reflection, I encourage you all to be as generous as your means allow and give the gift of survival to those less fortunate.

One charity organization based out of the UK that spends 100% of donated funds on providing food to refugees of war is Emaan Relief.  No funds are diverted towards militants or continuation of hostilities.

11  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet Option on: March 10, 2024, 12:01:26 AM
The other way is if you have 12-word or 24-word recovery phrase from your old wallet.

Or better yet, he should have a backup seed phrase written down somewhere already.

You're both half right.  Bitcoin core has never provided a seed phrase, and it's unlikely it ever will.
12  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide] on: March 05, 2024, 06:27:11 PM
do you need to verify it though even if you have the verified electrum on your laptop downloaded from a while back?

I verify every time I download an update, regardless of how confident I am about the website or source of the download.  Once you have GPG installed and the developers' keys imported into your keyring, verification becomes very easy and takes less than a minute.
13  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: seed and wallet validation on: March 03, 2024, 09:58:48 PM
So I heard that when first creating your wallet it is a good practice to send a small amount first ($20) erase the wallet, recreate using seed and check you still have your funds. Just as an extra step to verify your seed is working fine and you got everything right. Which made sense to me. I read recently someone mentioning that they also make a send test to verify they can also send from that wallet. I am not sure about if send test is really necessary. What is your opinion about these steps ? Do you perform any of these ?

Yes is a prudent to validate that you wrote down the seed correctly, but you don't need to send any funds to do so.  Create the main wallet, then use the seed to "restore" another wallet with a slightly different name.  If both wallets have all the same addresses you're good to go.  To see the wallet addresses click on "View" then select "Addresses" to activate the address tab.
14  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: is it possible to link two BTC wallet on the same installation of Electrum? on: March 02, 2024, 08:23:03 PM
You can open many wallet files at the same time, Electrum doesn't care.

Two wallets derived from seed phrases cannot be merged, i.e. you can't merge two seed phrases and have one wallet with all the same addresses from the original two.  You can, however, create a new wallet by importing individual private keys, and merge as many as you like.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [Discussion] Best Altcoins Portfolio 2024 | sponsored by BC.Game on: March 02, 2024, 03:03:21 PM
Those who have taken everything except privacy coins are pretty much in the green Cheesy

Unfortunately XMR isn't helping much at the moment from a speculative point of view lol

I put 40% of my ducats into XMR, so yeah...  In USD value it didn't drop much, but with BTC surging it sure looks like it's performing poorly.  I've noticed that's a pattern with XMR, however; When Bitcoin is climbing XMR will drop, and when Bitcoin is dropping XMR will climb.  It makes perfect sense if you consider those who are using it for privacy will want to wash their BTC gains.

What's up with Doge?

Good question.  I guess it's popular enough with the "cryptocurrency" crowd that it will follow along with Bitcoin's lead.  I'm pleased to see XRP is climbing too.  I'm still holding a small IRL bag that's in the red, but it's getting close to matching my USD investment at this point.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈 The United Football League (UFL) 2024 Thread 🏈 on: March 02, 2024, 02:11:21 PM
When I heard that the USFL and XFL were merging I assumed each league would bring 8 teams, for a total of 16.  It's interesting that they chose to reduce to a total of 8.  I guess they weren't sure how much interest they would generate, and decided to keep the expenses manageable at first.

I would love for a secondary league to challenge the NFL and break their monopoly on professional football, but in the past I've found it difficult to get excited about any of the teams or players.  Maybe it's because they often shun the Western US, but that's probably also due to dollars and cents so I get it.  It's also not the best time of year for me to want to sit in front of the TV.  Spring is for mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, and turkey hunting.  Not to mention the EPL starts to get exciting around that time also, and yeah, I'm one of the 12 American EPL fans that exist.

A friend of mine called me to let me know he has two tickets to the Super Bowl.  He bought them last year for $2,500.  They're on the 50 yard line, lower reserve, on the Niner's side of the field.  The trouble is, when he bought them last year he failed to notice it's the same day he and his fiancé had planned their wedding.  So, he's looking for someone to take his place.

It'll be at Mission Dolores church at 1:00pm.  Her name is Amy, she's 5'4", 115lbs.  She'll be the one dressed in white.

Is Taylor Swift a Pentagon asset?

Oh no, you've done it now. Black helicopters incoming. It was nice knowing you. I have no idea who this person or anyone in this thread is.

Pffft.  A Pentagon spokesperson already debunked that conspiracy theory in a statement to Politico, the bastion of honest and accurate journalism:

But on Wednesday, Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh pushed back against Watters claim, referencing one of Swift’s big hits by saying in a statement, “as for this conspiracy theory, we are going to shake it off.”

Yeah, I'm convinced.  Cool

I’m glad it was a disaster. I’m embarrassed to admit it but I got malware’d trying to find a damn stream. I ended up getting malwarebytes pro from a buddy so it kinda worked out lol.

NoScript and Ublock Origins are a must even if your not hitting up pirate sites..

I use a Linux VM for those types of things, it isolates my main OS from any shenanigans.  I started to look for a pirate stream for that game, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble since I had other things to do.
