3281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 25, 2021, 12:23:45 PM
Thanks to this platform, it's full of get-rich-quick opportunities!!! Grin

I beg to disagree though, this platform is not built to promote get rich quick scheme here.
-cut-

Exactly. This forum is a fantastic place to learn about cryptocurrency, discuss new ideas and projects, and share what we've learned from other projects. Its focus is on learning about Bitcoin and other coins/protocols, as well as how they can be used in everyday life.
3282  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Token on: April 25, 2021, 11:46:06 AM

They will get services for buying the btt token. They will be allowed to post their ANN, run bounty and pay participants.
We can have p2p exchange of btt tokens.

All of this is possible with Bitcoin, if the owner decides to do so; I see no need to use another coin (token).
You are aware that this is the Bitcointalk forum?
3283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2021 on: April 25, 2021, 11:01:20 AM
The rehearsal schedule for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has been released.

Rehearsals with this year's artist will begin on May 8 at the Ahoy in Rotterdam and will continue until the live shows in May. Lithuania is first to rehearse on Saturday 8th May at 10am (CET). All rehearsals will be streamable in the Online Press Centre and journalists onsite in Rotterdam will be able to view artists' first rehearsals on screens in the Press Centre. Second rehearsals will be accessible in a designated part of the arena itself.
Stand-in rehearsals will begin on April 29th.

The full rehearsal schedule can be found here:

I m already an active user here and always online, does it mean I can get stable coin payment with my rank?

No. It is not enough to simply be active and online to be paid to promote projects and businesses on this forum.

This is an online community, not a money making machine. You need to actively participate in discussions, contribute something constructive, help other members where you can, build your reputation. But first and foremost, you must become familiar with and respect the forum's rules and guidelines. I can already see that you've broken a few of them.

Only then would any of the managers consider you for a higher paying campaign.
3285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] WitLink - Fake Team on: April 25, 2021, 08:55:10 AM
/cut/

This is 100% incorrect and defamation. I am not involved or affiliated in any way to this project. So stop spreading BS. There are people using my picture without my consent. and BDAM is in no way a scam moron

I just noticed that you addressed me personally here.

I'm sorry, but where did I say BDAM was a scam, you moron? True, as other members have pointed out, it's full of shit, just like you, but I never said it's a scam. Cheesy

As I previously said, your name and photo are being used to advertise this dubious WitLink project, as in a number of other failed projects. If this is defamation, feel free to sue me.

To, naravno, dovodi do pada cena zbog zakona ponude/potraznje i potakne lavinu weak hands ulagaca.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: April 25, 2021, 07:21:05 AM
I was blown away by The Father; at first, it seemed that the various scenarios will slow down the entire film and that too much time will be wasted in distinguishing the real from the imaginary, but it soon becomes clear that it doesn't matter at all. Anthony Hopkins' brilliance anchors the entire film.
3288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: April 24, 2021, 09:57:52 PM
Is there any chances to doge coin can go to 1$ this year ?

Uh, I don't think so, buddy.
With the current circulating supply, if DOGE reaches a price of $1 per coin, it will become the third largest currency in terms of overall market capitalization. Following closely behind Bitcoin and Ethereum. That's not going to happen, in my opinion.
3289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Dogecoin still worth to invest? on: April 24, 2021, 09:44:41 PM
Could you tell me whether Dogecoin still worth to invest?

In my honest opinion I think not. This crypto-currency peaked a few days ago, but since then is already started to decline in value.

The value of Dogecoin is following an explosive momentum growth that cannot last long. Dogecoin is currently valued at $0.27. While this is a significant value, the fact that it managed to get as high as $0.43 is very impressive, nevertheless, this price is steadily decreasing. There is no reason to expect that Dogecoin will rise anymore over the next months and this is not what I would consider a good investment right now.

As far as I'm concerned Dogecoin is losing strength and it's questionable that Dogecoin will become profitable in the long-term.
3290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? on: April 24, 2021, 09:18:09 PM
So should we transfer our satoshis from bitcoin.com into a different software wallet and look into getting a hardware wallet for when we do invest more? Do we have to pay fees to transfer from one wallet to another?

If you have a rather large amount that you want to keep safe, a hardware wallet may be a good choice for you, since you can feel confident your funds will be secure with the hardware wallet. Although there are wallet options that have no need of hardware, they do not provide the full security benefits of a hardware wallet.
However, not all hardware wallets are created equal, so you need to do your homework to choose the right one for you. There are several excellent choices that I have found in this arena, with very high-quality hardware wallets like the Ledger Nano or the Trezor being particularly sought-after.

Yes, all users have to pay fees in order to transfer funds from one wallet to another. These fees depend on the network conditions, the client software and the exchange rate.
3291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: April 24, 2021, 03:01:39 PM
What do you think?

This video, in my opinion, perfectly describes who Dan Pena is and what he thinks about Bitcoin: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/lm23hn/dan_pena_being_a_complete_idiot_for_3_minutes/

I'm not sure why anyone would listen to what this clown says.

By the way, there is nothing new in this post. He claimed that Bitcoin is a huge Russian conspiracy to destabilize the American economy and to take over the world since 2019. And, according to him, the creator of bitcoin is Vladimir Putin. Yeah, right.  Cheesy
3292  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 24, 2021, 02:21:22 PM
The market is govern by speculation and the recent is $100k. If we're going to achieve any milestone before a sudden pullback it'll have to be the price of $100k. Everyone both traders and investors are anticipating for that price so obviously the selling pressure will be at that price range which will make it difficult for the price to stay above 100k in it's first attempt.

If you approximate the current price of bitcoin to be $50k it'll means just a 100% increase and bitcoin would be trading at the $100k milestone which isn't that difficult especially now that the institutional investors are in fully and pumping in cash that can affect the price both directly and indirectly (fomo).

Also, if the 2x increase is a reasonable estimate then the normalization of bitcoin prices is on the way and we would see a much lesser fluctuation of price with each new price level reached.

But it's true bitcoin needs some fixes in order to scale properly and increase the value of the currency. But because the world is still fascinated by the cryptocurrency and it's still very rare to see people converting fiat currency into bitcoin, the value is still stuck around its current spot. At best (not consensus view), we are getting closer to the point that it's no longer speculation but instead becomes mainstream.
3293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 24, 2021, 12:24:20 PM
As I read on Reddit, there are a number of players from restricted countries on Roobet (against to the terms of use as already posted).

Quote
Restricted Areas:
Absolut restricted Areas
People living or having a permanent or temporary residence in any of these countries are not entitled to register an account or access the website in any way:

Australia, Cyprus, Isle of Men, Austria, Bonaire, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Aruba, Belize, France, Curacao, the Netherlands, Saba, Statia, St. Maarten, Singapore, the United Kingdom, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Jersey, Luxembourg, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte, Denmark, the USA, and any other jurisdiction that the Central Government of Curacao deems online gambling illegal. These shall include all the named Nations' Territories.

Residents from the before mentioned territories are prohibited from opening an account or in any way use or access the services or any other services offered by the company.

Any account accessing from a restricted area via a VPN or another method to hide his identity will be banned from the website and all services. Any Roobidos remaining in the Roobido-safe will be frozen indefinitely.
https://roobet.com/?modal=terms

Nowadays, anyone can easily mask their IP address and make it seem as though it originates from a country that isn't on the restricted list. It appears that Roobet was forced to implement a mandatory KYC Level 1 verification to discourage casino abuse. Although many people dislike it, especially in the crypto community, I'm not sure we can do anything about it.
3294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adkinsbet SCAM on: April 24, 2021, 08:35:59 AM
I even got accused and a neg tag because one of their shills thinks I am getting paid and working for sportsbet.io

Don't worry about it. Everyone here knows they're a bunch of losers who would sell their own mother for a few bucks if they could.
Everyone on the DT team should tag these accounts so that we can at least ruin them. They shouldn't be able to use them to start a new scam.
3295  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Safe Heaven Finance using someone else's photos (for testimonials) on: April 22, 2021, 07:56:47 PM
I ask the moderators to please remove this thread from this section, the one who posted this thread is just spreading FUD. He has no real evidence, he is just criticizing on testimonials which has nothing to do with any project. When you import any elementor template, testimonials comes along with it on autopilot. So please remove this thread or ask the FUDDER to provide any real evidence of SCAM!!!

LOL! How can this be FUD if it is true?
You're looking for real evidence? Well, it's right there in the opening post (which you like to quote so much). And you're saying that the testimonials on YOUR website have nothing to do with YOUR project? Then why did you put them there in the first place?
3296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 18, 2021, 06:51:50 PM
... I don't care of holding as most campaign are pegged with usd and we are only getting small btc due to the high price.

Yeah, so what? It's still BTC.
That may be a small amount now, but you don't know how much it can be worth in a few months or a year. Try to calculate how much you would have now if you saved all your campaign earnings in just one year. You might be surprised.  Wink

I'll give you a hint:
Quote
Wow! Buying $50 of Bitcoin every week for 1 year starting 1 year ago would have turned $2,650 into $10,708 (+304%)
source: https://dcabtc.com
Exactly, especially with this dip signature campaigns even with a small BTC amount are very attractive if you believe in BTC long-term, which I definitely do. Also some other Altcoin signature campaigns have shown an incredibly raise, also in the last months.

Yes, indeed. It really makes me happy when bitcoin drops a bit before the manager calculates the weekly payments for the signature campaign. I know it's not much, but still. It will be good to see that I received more than expected when the price resumes its upward trend.
3297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 18, 2021, 06:29:45 PM
Any one of you guys noticed that KYC is now mandatory? The identity confirmation suddenly popped up today after I refreshed the page.

No official announcement from Roobet it seems.

It seems so, I get the same pop up.

Same here, I got a KYC pop-up. I haven't seen any new notice from Roo.
I don't know if it's a bug or it will now be mandatory for everyone.

I just hope that this isn't mandatory. If so, why would Roobet just impement it out of nowhere? Without any announcements or "teaser" that in the next days or weeks, they would implement such KYC for all of the Roobet players. Let us wait for their official announcement regarding this topic.

I really hope so. It's possible that it's related to the latest promotions. Perhaps they have too many fake accounts or something. Anyway, I'll wait a few days for the official announcement. Fortunately, I don't have a lot of money in my account right now.  Wink
3298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing how many negative stories about BTC have come out today without a source on: April 18, 2021, 06:21:37 PM
It is really sad to see so many people, who don't have a clue of what bitcoin is, attacking this coin. This is just another example of how social media has shown it can be used for good and for bad. To be honest it seems like the one thing BTC media is good at is spreading negative stories.
I really don't think it was just coincidence that the BTC downvoting and all the negative comments happened today at the same time. Perhaps that is why the positive voices are so few and far between.
3299  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus&promo codes! Site And App ⭐⭐⭐ on: April 18, 2021, 05:49:38 PM
~snip~
And they moves to advertise their site at other platforms after being caught as scammer in this forum. I can see that one of the most well known scam sportsbook is reviewed by OP and it is listed as a good site there. This is not the only place, most of the off forum casino review sites add those scam casino/sportsbook review without giving any warning about them. I hope OP will check them out and remove them from the review.

We've already seen several scams start in this forum, and some of them are still active; it's up to the members to make sure these scam sites don't continue to run. The forum has no restrictions on promoting scam sites; however, once we discover them, we can create a scam accusations report and open a flag against them, and DT members should leave a negative trust rating.

Regarding the various casino review sites, the most of them work for commission and don't rely care whether or not the casino is a scam.
3300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Safe Heaven Finance using someone else's photos (for testimonials) on: April 18, 2021, 05:31:18 PM
This is a truly dreadful website! I don't see how this project could spark any interest in the community.

It's disappointing to see that they can't even set up a commercial WordPress theme. Nothing is done properly; they just set up a WordPres in a hurry, added some social media accounts and three stock photos, and bam!

I mean, I don't want to sound like an a-hole, but this website reminds me of my second-grader son's drawing assignment.  Cheesy
