3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 31, 2023, 08:31:37 AM
Firstly, winning consecutively for many days isn't possible in gambling, and even if someone manages to do that even if it's about $1 per day, they may keep winning $1 for 29 days, and then comes the 30th day and they lose $30 and boom, back to the place where the journey began, so it's basically useless to try and earn money through gambling because it's a game of luck.

If you are lucky, you can win $1000 with just $1 and it will happen totally unexpectedly and not by using some strategy or planning, and if you are unlucky, you will lose everything even if you have $10k and aim to earn only $50 with it.
We can only hope to get lucky in gambling to win money. But to make the same amount of money, it won't be easy because we know that in gambling, we really need luck so we can't always win. And that defeat is a sure thing we can get at the end of the game.

Therefore, if you are wise in playing gambling, you will not think about earning income because the risk of losing money will be greater than the profit. You might be able to win once, but nothing can guarantee you'll get another big win after that.

Whether casinos are cheating there customers or not we need to know the kind of casino we are using so that we are not going to become a victim of circumstances. There are so many casinos that would want to manipulate things without minding the fate of there customers. Casinos always know how they make there money without anyone knowing.
there is no casino platform that is hundred percent sincere because all these platforms are casino have two or three ways they manipulate their things in order to ensure that they are asked advantages side of their customers casino platforms does not give you a hundred percent assurance of not binge eating their customers because without cheating of their customer they won't be able to make it their own money so that is the area that I found casino platforms
That's business. We must know how to choose the right casino, not take risks by playing at suspicious casinos, and have often deceived the players. By searching for a list of casinos from this forum, we can avoid these fraudulent casinos and play gambling safely and comfortably. And we should not use big money in gambling because there is a risk of losing money in gambling. And we also have to be able to control ourselves and not be easily tempted by offers given by casinos, especially new casinos that we don't know about.
3283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Ivan Toney's Case and You on: May 29, 2023, 04:18:07 PM
I don't have any close friends or family with gambling addictions, but I guess, if that were the case, it might not be easy to tell if he had a gambling addiction. Maybe we will know if we know his daily habits, so if he acts out of habit, we can reprimand him for asking if there is a problem with him.

After discovering that he was addicted to gambling, I would help him overcome it by taking him to a doctor or rehabilitation centre so that an expert could treat him. I don't want to let him feel alone with his gambling addiction, and I will pull him out of gambling. I just want him to know that he is not fighting alone to cure his gambling addiction, but there is me and his family and other friends.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 29, 2023, 03:33:29 PM
one can tell if the story is fabricated or not and since we are humans,it is not everybody that sees money as everything. Some committed devotee will never see money as anything as long as it is against their culture. Just as Hispo said, the boy's father might be a Muslim and maybe not just a Muslim but a mosque leader. If I was the boy's Dad ,I will collect the money and thank God for blessing my boy with such huge amount of money from gambling. I am wondering if there are still such people in the world and how many of them are left, people who prefer to follow their religion tradition over money.
There are still many people like that in this world because they still adhere to their religion and carry out the traditions of their religion. Perhaps, it will look strange to people of other religions, but that's the truth. We can't say it's a mistake to refuse money from big wins, but they strongly believe in their religion. But we also don't know what his son did after knowing his father's words. Perhaps, he has given his money to someone else in need or he has used the money for something else, or put all his money back into gambling. At least this was a lesson for him not to gamble because his father would never accept money from gambling.
3285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: May 29, 2023, 02:43:02 PM
from a certain point of view it is a contradiction.
I'm no longer an avid fan of my favorite team...personally I hate some situation behind "fans/hooligans".
If I had to choose between am economic win or their victory in a match... I really don't see place for negotiation, it's normal that I would choose my economic win!  Grin I also happened to bet against my national team more than once...  Roll Eyes
I quite agree with your take on this. It's not like I'm being paid to support them that I have to stay loyal to them. Being a fan doesn't mean I'd pass up on the opportunity of making money from betting against them! It's a hard no. No hard feelings, it's just business  Grin
So it depends on the perception of each of us. We could just place a bet for our team against another team, but I think it would be a waste of money, especially if we know that the opposing team is stronger than ours. Maybe it's better not to be a fanatic supporter, making us more flexible in choosing a team to bet on. We can also tell our friends that we are not die-hard fans willing to do anything for our team, so they won't make fun of us if we choose not to bet on our team.
3286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crazy Sports Betting Idea on: May 29, 2023, 01:27:51 PM
It would be an interesting bet and I wonder how the managers of each club would feel if they saw their names on the sports betting register. It definitely won't be comfortable seeing their names there and maybe it will make them exert their energy and mind so they can still be managers at their club.

If there is a suggestion for these managers to be put into betting in crypto casinos, the casinos may try it into the new link in their casino. But it doesn't look like the casinos will put it on their betting list yet.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 29, 2023, 12:20:32 PM
What is clear for sure is that a streamer does advertising or broadcasts gambling streams which he does because he can get more profit.
The first is from YouTube itself, he can get a certain amount of payment if he already has a lot of followers plus from the referrals that are shared if many people use it, you can be sure that the bonus from the referrals is also quite large.
YouTube is still free for gambling advertising and live streaming and we can see for ourselves that more and more people are using YouTube as their media for gambling advertising.
that's true (fall into the entertainment category), but not all streamers can make money from their videos on youtube when youtube knows that the content he makes is a video when he plays gambling

As long as you don't often do searches about gambling, you don't need to worry about recommended ads from YouTube, besides, many countries don't prohibit gambling ads on online platforms or social media
But Youtube is still a place to look for tutorials or lessons we want to find, so many people still do that search. That is why many advertisements still appear even though people do not want them. But perhaps, they can avoid it by clicking on the ad but of course, they should be able to resist the temptation to avoid it. Another place influencers can use is Facebook; even if I remember correctly, I've seen it on TikTok or SnapChat. So we must pay attention and filter what we want to find and see and not be easily tempted by advertisements.
3288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 29, 2023, 11:16:15 AM
Time limit won't be effective because someone can bet a million dollar in single bet and lose all at once so instead of thinking that sites should stop the addiction.
I dont consider betting million dollars at one time as addiction, it is just you just have. lot of money which can make you bet that amount of money, addiction is something you can focus anymore on doing other things just because that thing is consuming a lot of your time and cannot make you think good anymore because of being addicted on which time limit might be useful in that case.
But it could be that betting millions of dollars is a gambling addiction, especially if we don't know the truth. But those who often bet with big money may not feel anything because it's normal for them. But not for those of us who never bet big money. Many things can cause gambling addiction, and it will be difficult to leave if we are already affected by it. And before gambling addiction came to us, it was better for us always to try to control ourselves and manage money to gamble.

Nothing that they can do as they needed to comply with the government rules in order to continue doing business from that jurisdictions, as even they wanted to keep their clients but in terms of submitting KYC some of their clients may not agree to engage with it and not willing to entrust their private details.

Leaving the casino is the only option and there's nothing that the owner can do to keep them but instead to let them
for the sake of their business.
Their customers can stay in the casino, but they have to submit documents for KYC purposes or the customer can look for other casinos that do not apply the rules as strictly as that casino. And I think some customers still want to stay and play gambling at the casino even though they are asked to do KYC by the casino because there is a request from the government.

And it's better for a casino that still has many members and, on average, its members are willing to do KYC to pay attention to the security of their customer's data because that is about the trust that customers have given to the casino. If the casino can do that, I think it can attract new customers who want to play gambling at the casino even though they will be asked to do KYC too.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: May 29, 2023, 09:14:52 AM
I think focusing on number 5, 6, 10, and 11 will be fit for gamblers so they can manage their time and money for playing gambling. They have their limits on gambling and not trying to break it for their good. I agree with @OP saying that number 10 and 11 is the key not to chase the loss and being addicted to gambling. But it is not easy as it say because we must always remember our purpose of playing gambling and not breaking our rule if we don't want to lose much money. Knowing when you must quit is another preventions from a big loss but not many can do this so you should always remember to take care of yourselves.
3291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 08:11:48 AM
If Bitcoin is prohibited in your country, you should not need to say anything about it to your friends because it is risky. You could tell a story about Bitcoin if you only have a few friends you trust, so it won't be too risky, especially if you can share a story at a friend's house.

And although Bitcoin is for everyone, you must have the money to buy Bitcoin and make it your investment. And if they don't have money to buy bitcoins, they need to work until they have money, then they can buy bitcoins. You can teach your friends at a friend's house and not in public because Bitcoin is banned in your country.
3292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: May 28, 2023, 04:09:32 PM
Looks like there's was a compromise in that judgement and judicial partiality played out here ,someone gambled away 5.6 million and where asked to pay 150,000 only ,too small when compared with the amount of money being gambled away despite being given 7 years of imprisonment. They're hold with two count charge here, criminal offense and false allegation. The state of this guys greediness was in the high place. Both persons might be two gamble addicts and should
have allowed to undergo some psychological evaluation to know their mental status.
We'll never know if there was a compromise in the case. But that could happen to see that the amount to be paid is very small, as you said. And if both of them are gambling addicts, they should get additional punishment or perhaps, it's not punishment but some rehabilitation to cure gambling addiction. If it could be given to both of them, maybe they could change after the sentence was over so they wouldn't repeat his actions in the future. 7 years in prison is not a long time, and maybe it's good to make both of them reflect and learn from the mistakes they have made to others.
3293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: May 28, 2023, 02:12:26 PM
I honestly observe this with many different crypto websites not even casinos. Some companies try to gain extra money through transactions. I also think its very close to robbery. Online casinos can generate huge amount of money through players/gamblers anyways. I think low fees promote usage anyways. I find it very awkward and disruptive. I think casinos should not treat their customers as cows that they will milk money away.
Do gambling sites consider advice or suggestions? Perhaps they could explore alternative blockchains with lower transaction fees or utilize stable coins from different blockchains. Neglecting to embrace features that make it easier for customers to access their services or products seems unwise.

The casino should be able to consider the advice and maybe implement it if it provides an opportunity for the casino to grow even better. But I think each casino will provide the best for its users, except for casinos that only want their users' money. Such a casino would not consider any suggestions from its members but should be prepared if its users decide to leave its casino one day. It will bankrupt the casino and close its casino because there is no support from its users. It may already be the case for the new casinos just launched.
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About football betting on: May 28, 2023, 01:32:12 PM
Not only sports fans but also gamblers who really chase after winning will do sports betting even though they don't really understand and have a lot of knowledge about the sport being bet on but when faced with the possibility of winning they will also be interested in risking some of their money.
In my opinion, past performance and current performance in a team are actually not a guarantee to be able to win matches except in prestigious sporting events, maybe you can prioritize the skills and performance of a team to make betting predictions.
Have you forgotten that every match that you place a bet on can have an unreasonable end result because in that match there is a huge amount of money at stake so it will be easy to manipulate.
It's definitely bad if someone gamble when they're not even understand and familiar with the sport, they can't see and watch the beautiful of the sport.

Well past and current performance can be used to predict the future result even though it's not 100% work, but sometime it help. If you not look from the past and current performance, how you can judge both team or fighter performance and put your bet on?

It's true there were few matches manipulated, but I believe it's only happen on a small league, not the major league.
They will get nowhere if they bet on sports they know nothing about because it means they will bet randomly and put their money away. Maybe they can get lucky by doing so but luck will not always come to them.

Past performance can be additional information about how a team is developing and what it has achieved so far. And if there is a good change in that team, we can choose the team to bet on. But whatever it is, we better not bet too big, even though we know the team well, because we also have to consider if sudden changes can occur during a game and that has happened often.

We will not know which league was manipulated because there is no clear news about it and we can only guess. It's better if we don't need to think about the manipulation of the match because we don't know and it's better to watch the match while hoping that our chosen team will win.
3295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: May 28, 2023, 12:53:47 PM
The bank is a place to save money and not to invest even though it has investment products too. But generally, banks provide accounts for people to keep their money in.

While Bitcoin is a type of investment, we know besides other types of investment. And many people who are familiar with Bitcoin will choose to save their money in Bitcoin, but they also save their money in the bank to make ends meet and for sudden needs. And I keep my money in Bitcoin and the bank, but I don't invest in the bank because the interest I will get is very small, and it's not worth trying.
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: May 28, 2023, 12:15:45 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

I know most users here cannot hold their horses when bull runs of altcoins are happening right in front of their eyes and I'm also one of them. there's no way I resist when I see the price of altcoins that I'm holding getting the once-in-a-lifetime momentum I've ever witnessed.
It really happens as we think that it was already an opportunity rather than just missing it. Like what we did last 2017 bull season where most of us are still holding thinking that it continue to pump but unfortunately, the drop comes out with a big surprise and many investors are in regret for not selling their coins while are on the rise. Now, we are considering that situation which is possible to happen and so selling while its pump is on our mind. Whether it was wrong or not, but for me, I'd rather choose to sell rather than regret it later.
The decline makes us patient while buying potential coins that can increase later in the bull run and altcoin season. And many people had been selling at peak prices for the last bull run and altcoin season yesterday. But unfortunately, some investors are new to the crypto market, so they bought them at high prices and now have to hold on until the bull run and altcoin season return. It's best not to rush to sell the bitcoins and altcoins that you have because we are still waiting for the moment to come and holding them until then.
3297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why choosing instant withdrawal casinos on: May 28, 2023, 11:42:12 AM
Well, I think it would have been better if you only tried to withdraw say 30% of your whole balance and then waited a few days and then withdraw another 30%...etc... because the smaller casinos does not like a complete withdraw of all the balance in one withdraw. (It hurts their cash flow)
This is also something that gamblers who want to withdraw all their money in a large amount should pay attention to so that it does not attract too much attention from the casino, which will want to carry out checks before processing the withdrawal. And yes, a small casino will not like that oversized withdrawal because it can destabilize its finances, especially if many gamblers have managed to win a lot of money. That can thin the financial balance at the casino and make it impossible to make payments to other gamblers who also want to withdraw their money.
3298  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market on: May 28, 2023, 11:01:13 AM
Money Markets are inherently unstable, and losses are a natural part of the investment process. If a person loses money in the stock market the first step is to take a step back and assess their financial situation and if the percentages calculated are losing more than the gains even if they survive in the current and normal as it is if I'm not mistaken.
That has to be done but unfortunately, many don't take a step back but instead use more money because they think and calculate that the capital they use is not enough. And that finally makes them lose again, but if they realize it, it's a valuable lesson they should avoid. And they have to keep learning more to be successful in anything, especially when it comes to stock trading, which is always changing.
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fool to keep it online, look my name on: May 28, 2023, 10:25:43 AM
You can say that again. Personally, I don't save my password, key phrases any on line, no matter the temptation. It is usually very tempting to save those important information online just for easy access, but it is way too dangerous to even give in to that temptation.
It is safer to write on a book and keep out of reach than save on line.
Storing personal things online does not guarantee that they will be safe because many bad incidents have happened to the server where they are stored, causing a lot of important customer data to be hacked. This raises particular concerns for the owners of these data because they submit their personal data to the online storage area, and the online storage area should be responsible for ensuring that the place is always safe even though it is not possible. And I agree to always write in a book and keep it away from curious people. Indeed, the old ways sometimes always work better than the new ways Grin

They will do everything that the law gives them every right that they can apply to force the owners to follow or to obey whatever they wanted to implement, and I follow you with your sentiment that government can do that as they are vindicated by law with their jurisdiction better to prepare yourself in case, they will ask for each gamblers KYC as casino or exchange can't do anything to avoid it or not follow that rules.

They will be forced to push this information to continue renewing their permits, nothing but to completely obey what the government order them to implement.
That is why we have seen the government impose its will on most businesses, and even now, the government is tightening its rules on exchange. This makes business owners think about finding a win-win solution for themselves, the government and their customers. But unfortunately, in reality, business owners sacrifice their customers by obeying the government because business owners also cannot do anything against the government's will. There are many reasons put forward by interests, whether for economic or even for individual reasons, that handle case by case. And maybe it will get even tighter when crypto explodes again.

~snip~
The government knows alots of illegal activities might be going on in those crypto casinos because they're not regulated, we have lots of money launders making use of casino to wash and clean their money and if this casinos aren't regulated, they can't be questioned.

When the casinos get regulated, the owners becomes more scared and leave the illegal businesses they're operating with the casino. Online casino are just like the traditional casino that illegal people and businesses use to clean or wash their illegal money.

The government in this cases are only doing the right thing. Alot of casino are getting illegal funding which are drug money and other illegal money. And they can simple say those are profits from the casino and go free without investigation if they're not regulated.
It's true the government is doing the right thing, but we won't know if it is from the government or from the people who work in the government. There may be people who want to use the regulation for their personal gain, so they act on behalf of the government. It happens in the real world, and I think it also happens in the online world, especially when it happens in the online world, it will be related to millions of dollars. And the gambling business that the government handles is no longer a local business but is already in touch with international businesses, which will provide even greater money.
