3281  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Coin on: June 18, 2019, 05:53:50 AM
Anyone still talking about one world currency this time is a dumb person. The world doesn't need any one world currency. And by the way Bitcoin is not that so important as some of you makes it looks like. Bitcoin wasn't made for the purpose of one world currency, you failed completely by saying that,. Bitcoin was created for making transactions across the world cheap and fast.

There is no place that Satoshi Nakamoto said that Bitcoin was a one currency… it is stated clearly if you check for the meaning of Bitcoin. There is even a video on YouTube that explains that and there is also a post on the Bitcoin official website as well that addresses the purpose for Bitcoin.
3282  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 18, 2019, 05:24:12 AM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?
I am really quite worried about this issue. So far, I've provided 2-3 times of my personal information. Now I don't know what purpose it is being used for and whether it harms me.
We are still very vague about collecting this information and it really makes me very curious. we still cannot conclude anything but it is best not to sell our information.
Where I come from, I have a religion that believes that when there are people that misfortune will come to, we will not be among. We have over 7 billion population, out of this, population of crypto users is also much for us to be sampled out of many information that has been collected, not everyone that collects our information has wrong motive, and the one that have wrong motives will not see our information to collect.

We only need to take some preventive measure, since we cannot shy away from this responsibility that has been placed on us, we need to just watch the project we are working on or submitting our information with, and be sure they are reliable while we leave the rest to God.
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the best for trading/investing? on: June 17, 2019, 11:50:50 AM
There are still lots of altcoins out there that are profitable for both trading/investment and even those shitcoins can also be very profitable at their early stage if an investor would be able to invest before their pump and able to catch the pump before it gets dumps, I think what we lack now are durable projects that can start the test of time.

Hardly do you see any project now that you can even say will last up to a year and still functioning well. If you take a look at the coins we have in the top market ins, you will still realize that they are older projects, which means these new ones really has nothing to offer and I think you have to look more into some of these top ones.
3284  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 16, 2019, 05:41:31 PM
I feel like loans are the biggest reason why we are in this mess to begin with. Banks give you loan and expect you to pay it back with interest but if too many people do the same then there would be eventually someone who couldn't find the interest, there is a finite amount of money and unless you give out the exact amount expecting more back is the problem.

Lets say bitcoin is capped at 21 million and all of them were mined by just one person, he gives 21 million bitcoin as loan and expects you to give him back with interest, since there is finite amount you can't give him interest back since it doesn't exist. Well if we do small loans even at 1 satoshi eventually the amount of loans given and couldn't get back will reach 21 million and above, that is when inflation and money printing happens in fiat and we don't want that in bitcoin.
3285  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: June 15, 2019, 12:18:19 PM
Bruh…. You're very wrong. If you ask me, cloud mining is better than traditional mining. A lot of experts that were being interviewed by Cointelegrah say that they believe in cloud mining more than traditional mining and that is the future. It's not everyone that can run the traditional mining cost. Why will I be stressing myself out with traditional mining with all those heavy tasks when I can start cloud mining with as low as $15 on Genesis Mining and even less if I make use of SkyCoinLabs?? If you make use of Cloud mining, it's an investment and it frees you from the stress so that you can focus on other ways of earning extra income.
3286  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 15, 2019, 11:45:38 AM
I started to think about it. How a bank and folks could issue loans to people?

Currently, when you need to borrow money, your banker just edits your balance account and create money magically. You then pay back monthly.
Banks won't be able to do that with Bitcoin with its limited supply. You can't print bitcoins.

But now, between folks. Let's say I'm the banker and you're the customer looking to borrow money to buy a house. I can lend you the money but how to be sure you will pay me back with full interests? With banks, the solution is easy, the bank seizes the house and you can't do something. But the average Joe hasn't the same 'power' than a bank to collect a debt.
Don't say what you don't know. Banks does not just edit your account balance to what you need, that doesn't happen. If you're taking a loan from bank, the money they are crediting to your account is coming from their own account. They don't just grab digits from the air and fill it up to your account. So stop saying what you don't know. Stop acting like one of these crazy Bitcoin enthusiasts that are always saying shitty things about banks, it makes no sense and is leading you to no where. And by the way, banks always collect collateral when they are giving you a loan, if you don't pay back they will sell the property you used as collateral to get back their money. That's the same thing Bitcoin loans, before you take loan from any Bitcoin loan service, you will submit your crypto that is worth the amount of loan you need as collateral. I don't even see any difference between them and traditional banks,, they are all the same.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 14, 2019, 10:32:11 AM
It's quite funny how some of you guys think. That he won seven million dollars doesn't mean that gambling is the answer to your problems. Yes he won, but you can play for the rest of your life and not even win up to $1000. Everyone's luck is different and I also don't think that it is everyone that can have the level of patience he had. And from the way I see the story, he's not one of those that are addicted. I just hope that he doesn't become stupid That he's a millionaire. It would be best for him to stay out from gambling now and start a big business. Just what I think.
3288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin unable to breach the $8000 milestone on: June 12, 2019, 06:50:15 AM
Well, we at least saw how it was able to breach the 8 thousand milestone. We are not at a place where 8 thousand dollars is a "drop" and not an increase which makes me feel amazing. The price needs to drop in order to back to 8 thousand dollars. We were at around 3 thousands and 4 thousands just a few months ago and from November to April we lived between 3-4 thousand dollars, now 8 thousand dollars was seemed like "unable to breach" and we even breached that.

All of this tells me that there is no price bitcoin is too difficult to break, we can break any price and we can reach to 10+ thousand dollars easily, I am not saying we are going to be a million dollars (we will one day in the future for sure) but all of these close numbers is quite possible from now on.
3289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the dip passed? on: June 11, 2019, 01:13:33 PM
I don't get it how did someone who has been around since December 2017 never really seen a complete bull run? I mean we have been at 20k during December 2017 and then we went as low as 3200 and then we are at around 8 thousand dollars right now. How is that never really seen a complete bull, you have been around perfectly for the full cycle of a bear run.

Every single thing that has transpired since December 2017 and today must have shown you what the true bear run looks like and you should basically memorize every single detail of it because it has happened before and it will surely happen again so next time around you will now it. I have seen the previous ones so I was lucky to cash out during 20k dollar times but I was also stupid enough to buy around 6.5k last time yet I feel fine now since I bought more lower and now we are higher.
3290  Economy / Speculation / Re: timing the market on: June 11, 2019, 10:33:46 AM
I became a trader for a long time and only recently have I experienced a considerable loss, with 1 late reason to sell. I don't understand for before if maybe there is a time to set the market, and far from my mind. Because I also often experience considerable profits in weekly trading. For now I don't want to comment too much, because I stopped trading for a while. While waiting for capital.
It is really not your fault, it really takes the courageous ones like you to trade in this type of volatile market, I lost interest in trading too because it seems to me that I predict the market better when I am not trading, but the moment I decide to trade, that is when the market will choose to go against me, and I really don’t know which law of nature is controlling that.

For this reason is why for now, I just prefer to hold my coins and juts keep waiting for it to increase or some of the altcoins gets pumped for me to be able to get some money out and look for other coins that would do the same to invest in.
3291  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10000 is just around the corner it seems. on: June 11, 2019, 09:55:19 AM
It looks like something happen and price drop and we are not close to 10k$, i think the drop happen because someone sell a good amount of coins, but after some time the price will grow.
Of course something happens, many people sell when prices rise above $9k and make prices collapse again by a few percent. This is a natural thing, you have to take advantage of that moment when prices go up and before falling, so that when prices fall like this you can take part to buy. $10k will definitely happen in the next few days, now the market is preparing to collect demand again
I totally agree, and this is just the reason why we are not seeing that continuous shooting of prices which I don’t think we will see like that of 2017, because right now, it is like people have learnt that strategy, they wait for market to spike, take the profit and then wait for market to dump to buy, virtually everyone wants to turn to a short term trader now, and with this practice, we should always expect this rise and fall often, so the increase will be very slow.

I also believe that we will get to $10k now, but we won’t sustain it before we crash back to $9k and will make this month end on $9k or something around $8800.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: June 10, 2019, 07:58:12 AM
Obviously if it doesn't have a product if its just a white paper you might think at first that it is very interesting. Secondly, if it have a high fund raising. Then, the most unfortunate in terms of payment. If they have a delay distribution of payment then forebode it because it will a promise that is everlasting.
This one is when the damaged has already been done to investors, I would not even wait for that long to determine if a project is scam or not, I won’t even give them the chance to take my money or my time.

What I usually do first is to thoroughly research on the project before even participating in the campaign, and before the research, I use some to sites that are dedicated to getting solid projects as they claim, and they pick some projects there for further research, this is how I have been able to avoid this scam projects from investing and also doing their bounty. I don’t just go for any project that is not already verified for further research.
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: June 10, 2019, 07:15:25 AM
Facebook's new cryptocurrency is reported to be a stablecoin for members to use for payments and its full specifications haven't been released yet, however, it is not likely to be a direct rival to Bitcoin which is decentralized, is widely considered to be a digital version of gold and a future store of value and it should only benefit from the increased exposure this venture can provide for the cryptocurrency industry
For the fact that it is Facebook, and giant of all social media doesn’t mean it can stand some giants of cryptocurrency, it will be impossible for Facebook to be in the struggle with Bitcoin, because there usefulness will not even be the same and even if they have something similar, the community will not accept a coin that is going to be more like a centralized coin.

We all know how Facebook has done all its best to dominate anything he feels he can dominate and also making money of selling people’s data, so I think this time around, he can only create a coin that will be useful within its system and not a global coin.
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 09, 2019, 03:21:19 PM
Durant is said to return on either game 5 or game 6, now if he returns on game 5 and then they win I think momentum can change but if he doesn't return on this game neither then the raptors will probably end the series at Canada. I mean it was so obvious that raptors are taking things so seriously I watched a video where the team as a whole were leaving the court after the win and going to dressing room and none of them were celebrating, they were all just going directly without any laughs or
cheers or anything. Durant on game 5 will be the whole deal, raptors could still win even if Durant returns since he hasn't played in a while and will be still in pain a bit and that is why even he may not be enough.
3295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long term advance notice! on: June 08, 2019, 10:04:53 AM
This 2018 post will be entertaining when it happens.

Capital C for capitalism. BitCoin.

FUD carrier, nonsense.
That is absolutely what that Craig of a cunny man is trying to achieve, I believe Craigs plan is to promote his coin by trying everything to destroy Bitcoin. Don’t be surprised that he doesn’t even have more than 500BTC for him to be talking nonsense of moving so much coin that will drop the value of BTC.

He knows the power of FUD news which is why he is trying to use it to create panic sell, who would hear that such huge BTC is to be sold and would not panic to get theirs out first, but he needs to understand that he is dealing with smart people here and not the dull people he believes we are, that story is not true and can never happen.
3296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you prefer? Sportsbet or casino on: May 31, 2019, 11:50:07 AM
Playing gambling by the purpose of earning money and spending time are the right thing of reasons, why there’s so many gamblers all over the world playing a lot.

By choosing what do I most played? Both of them, their just fun and exciting to bet and play casino everytime.
Exactly, I feel the two objectives should always be linked together. This is actually the reason why most players are involved in gambling. To make money and also to while away time. I am a very good case study, I enjoy playing different games especially sports betting but my first goal is to make money and along line spend my time whenever I am less busy.

I am a love of sports bets and also I play Dice games but I prefer spot bet to other kind of betting because it is always easy to analyze by looking back at different teams history, in short I really desired to play for a club in my early childhood days, so I am truly a sport lover.
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeing Potential with Nimiq? on: May 31, 2019, 11:09:09 AM
in my opinion when compared to brave, in terms of the concept even though both use a browser, of course brave is better. nimiq still has a little potential it's just not able to defeat the brave (bat).
Which is why I was a little confused when the poster mentioned the first browser to be based on blockchian and I was like, does he know what he is saying? So what has BAT and other browsers that has developed their browsers with blockchian, I know they are not many yet which may still make this browser too to thrive provided their team knows how to market the product strongly, because I am not sure they do, if not, I shouldn’t be reading about it for the first time if indeed they are the first, if they were first, many people would have embraced it and create some hypes for it.
3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA Coin is sleeping deeply. When to wake up ? on: May 30, 2019, 12:49:19 PM
How much do you guys predict ADA to be during next bullrun?
No one would really be able to predict, it depends on the number of investors that they will get when the time comes, but I believe that they should be able to attract quite large numbers of investors since the still belong to the group of top 10 in the coinmarketcap.

Most investors when they pick an alternative coins to invest in after they must have put in a very big amount in bitcoin, they mostly look for coins in the top marketcap which is usually within the range of top 10 and top 20, but one thing I can be sure of is that whatever increase they get will be higher than the increase of other safer the top 10coin in cmc.
3299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 30, 2019, 12:18:16 PM
I'm still wondering why developers will organize airdrops and distribute an amount of tokens which is far lesser than the minimum amount of the tokens that can be deposited on an exchange for trading. If you don't want the users to cash out the money, why do you let them waste their time?
I think they are simply just using that as marketing strategy to create more awareness for the project, but I see it as a very wrong method of marketing because those that are getting the airdrop may not even pick interest in investing in their project, because virtually those who request to participate in airdrop are simply doing so to get free coin.

If I were those project developers and I am sure that the project has a real working product, I will rather prefer to use that airdrop fund to market that product through other social media platform or bill boards and from there introduce the coin to them, because airdrop is just a waste of money to me.
3300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats happening with NEO ?? Why its price going Down??? on: May 29, 2019, 12:26:48 PM
Neo that went as high as 196 dollars in January 2018, is now below $15 to be precisely it is currently at $12.11 and that is really very bad for those that buying then and are still holding. Neo is one of the most dumping coins last year ending and that is seriously affecting it growth.
They must do something with this. I don't remember any new projects on their blockchain for last few months. Where I can see such info?
Most of these old coins that looked promising like NEO, ADA and the rest are really losing it and I am beginning to think their time has expired already, maybe they have finally given up to newer projects that came with a solution better than theirs, and moreover, I have told people severally that the problem of some of these coins are still themselves.

These coins are too much in the market and the competition that exist amongst them is so strong and takes only the very best of them to survive, within the next 1 to 2 years, I see over 500 old projects dyeing off the market completely as they no longer have new innovations.
