3281  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Ann] US based Avalon ASIC chips and assembly: 3,333 remaining on: June 23, 2013, 07:10:26 AM
Also, how large were the other batches?

 Batches of 10,000 chips, IIRC.
3282  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Eruptor Blades on: June 22, 2013, 08:09:14 PM
it appears too when i set the clock to default (low) speed

Going to have to assume you have a bad hashing chip if that's the case Sad Only thing that makes sense Sad Sounds like a case for a warranty replacement, unfortunately.
3283  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Eruptor Blades on: June 22, 2013, 07:48:22 PM
any idea of the x in the chip?

Does the x appear when you set your clock to default speed, or does it only appear with the clock on it's High setting ?
3284  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single Arrived today ... ~60Gh/s on: June 22, 2013, 07:07:54 AM
Ok, I had to know...I disconnected all the computer components and plugged it into a kill-a-watt ...it's drawing about 280 watts.

Thanks for the report. That's a pretty respectable number.
3285  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Question for GPU miners on: June 22, 2013, 06:33:03 AM
What happens when all the GPU miners (70%+ of miners) move to scrypt

 This will never happen.
3286  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon Clones] Available, Ships As soon as August on: June 22, 2013, 05:22:49 AM
if you are not okay with that, you can pay 50BTC for a 10Gh/s (13 if you over clock Blade from ASICMiner)

Since you put it that way, I procured another AM Blade for less than 50 BTC. I hope to have it by next Tuesday.

Additionally, I have K16's on order through Steamboat's project that will give me a higher total hashrate than your product at a cheaper cost, by about 20 BTC.

 Thank you very much.
3287  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Block Erupter USB owners won't make ROI??? on: June 22, 2013, 04:32:19 AM
I don't see the big deal here if you are long on Bitcoin. I've been mining for three years, and I hope to be mining for the next three years and beyond.

All this talk of not making ROI in 3-6 months seems a bit short-sighted IMO.
3288  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is bitcoingenerator.org for real? Does anybody know? on: June 21, 2013, 10:40:09 PM
Scam. Avoid. If you have downloaded this, scan your system for malware immediately.

If something like this were possible, these forums would be on fire right now.
3289  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I know it's too late, but aren't we shooting ourselves in foot by buying ASIC? on: June 21, 2013, 10:21:35 PM

3291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Eyes to the horizon: A bitcoin ASIC project will be announced in June on: June 21, 2013, 08:37:51 PM
Not a scam, but I can read chinese, he's so arrogant that I dont want to deal with

Some elaboration for us silly Anglo's would be appreciated.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 7990 - 2nd GPU burning up ... looks abnormal on: June 21, 2013, 08:26:08 PM
How are you guys undervolting the Maltas?  I have them running stock and they are running at 100C on each card!

MSI Afterburner or Sapphire Trixx should do the job. Make sure you verify the settings take on the second GPU.
3293  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 20, 2013, 10:25:59 PM

3294  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashTech Avalon Clone Hashing Modules 22GH/s - 8.99 BTC * ESCROW * on: June 20, 2013, 10:04:32 PM
HashTech, have you received any notice from Avalon about your chip shipments ?
3295  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Ann] US based Avalon ASIC chips and assembly: 3,381 remaining on: June 20, 2013, 06:42:53 PM
Should we make a thread about K16 operation (power, cabling, firmware) etc..?

This would be a great idea. Dogies thread on powering the AM Erupter Blades was very helpful, and something similar for the K16 project would be wonderful.
3296  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Recieved 50GH BFL Single Today! on: June 20, 2013, 03:00:16 PM
I understand if you didn't have time to talk to your lawyer yet
I understood that BFL lawyer is too busy talking with other customer lawyers.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it appears (so far) that "BFL lawyer" is too busy ignoring customer lawyers and demand letters, and looking to create more problems for themselves Sad

To my understanding, the system frowns upon ignoring efforts to reconcile a dispute, prior to attending court.

EDIT: Official response received through my attorney this aft. Ceasing discussing anything related to Butterfly Labs or Josh while the next stage of this dispute is being worked through. Thanks for the support everyone.
3297  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Heat on USB ASIC Erupter on: June 20, 2013, 06:18:59 AM
Get a USB fan to give the heatsink some airflow.

I like these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003XN24GY/
3298  Other / Archival / Re: [BOUNTY] 50+BTC for information leading to criminal arrest in ASIC Home Theft on: June 20, 2013, 05:27:28 AM
It's someone you know.

It's gut-wrenching to think that, but it is plausible :|

What are the odds ? How was his address obtained ? Did he put it out there ? Need more info.

Either way, good luck recovering your rig and finding the perp. That's just awful, and peculiar, to have such a specifically targeted robbery Sad
3299  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Garr255 and Werner = scammer trolls on: June 20, 2013, 05:15:35 AM
Trying to look at this completely objectively, it's dishonest and duplicitous behavior. Manipulating auctions through shill accounts is definitely uncouth.

You are full of shit, plain and simple.

Hey, while you are here, I have a call scheduled tomorrow afternoon. Can I get a formal acknowledgement that you are ignoring our first letter ? Would help me plan my day better.

 *hugs*
