3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 21, 2021, 12:54:25 PM
I'm not surprised they went for the unification match as boxing is a business and it will be better for more revenue. It'll be interesting to see Casimero win because I want to see what he can do next and hopefully this will clear the way for Inoue. But Donaire is a veteran and will not go down lightly. It's going to be a tough fight for Donaire as well just because he's battling father time and wants to be undisputed. Respect for both fighters, it's going to be a good one.

We haven't seen this kind of fight before, I know it's necessary but the big question is, can it generate big money?
This is a unification fight, it's a championship fight, no way it will not generate big money although both fighters are Filipino.
Usually, a big event like this is held in the US and there's a big market in the US, so definitely it's a success.

One of the reasons why a fight is successful is if the fighters have different races, and knowing that the Philippines is a small country, will the Americans or Mexicans watch this fight?
Not only those two races, but we also have other races that will be interested in watching the fight, and, we also have to consider the PPV which is available all over the world.

3283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 21, 2021, 06:22:38 AM
I think OP had already filled with practical and learning advice. Maybe it was time for OP to share what happened to him. I think everyone is expecting a good result to know if that is really effective or not.
@OP Just to think about that trading is not easy nor it was for everyone. If you choose to become a trader, then it means that you are also willing to lose your money. Just think that trading is not all about money but we are also investing knowledge in this field.
3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 21, 2021, 05:40:47 AM
This news will surely make a huge impact on bitcoin's reputation as well as its value. We know how it works for crypto and influencing a nation can also mean you will soon influence the whole world. If ever this works out well for El Salvador and if ever their economy rise higher due to this decision, we should expect that lots of other countries will soon follow its footsteps. There are a lot of countries that has bad speculation over bitcoin but it is a good thing that some countries are open for the possibilities of gaining help from crypto. Let us hope it works out for El Salvador for it will mean much more success for bitcoin in the future.
I saw nothing had changed in prices as Bitcoin never pumps after such an announcement. That of course it gives some replica to the other countries which is still now they are doubts about Bitcoin's capabilities. This gonna be a turning head for those who ban Bitcoins and also for those who keep ignoring this. Now that they see it started to be legalized in some parts of the globe and a way to lead others to do the same. Well, it is a process and it was slow.
3285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 20, 2021, 10:15:04 PM

Will be certainly betting on the Suns to sweep this series with game one ending in their favor.
Even if they do lose one or two games, I will be backing them through out these playoffs for each and every game from now on.
They are a red hot team to watch during this season and post season. Cool

That's a great idea as even if they loss in game 2, you'll still get good betting odds backing the Suns.
I don't know what the betting odds for game 2 is, but I think it should not be -5.5 above as the Clippers are not dominated in this game.

In game 3, we could see the Clippers to be the favorites, and that's a good opportunity to bet on the suns as well.
And even if the Suns will become the favorites, it should be a slight favorite only.
3286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 20, 2021, 09:49:54 PM
Are we going to see an OT here?

The score is 114-116. Suns will take the position and it's gonna be a foul game if the Clippers can't steal the ball.
Hopefully, there's an OT so it will be more fun.

Edit: no OT. sorry clippers fans.
3287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be Prepared for the big dump. on: June 20, 2021, 11:35:20 AM
the proof until now there has been no big dump that I have seen in the market is indeed a dump but it always recovers within 24 hours, bitcoin still has a price above 30k and it is impossible to dump up to 10k
We might say $10k is meant to be impossible as we certainly looking for the positive, but like the fact that the market was still volatile, you can't simply ignore such possibility.
What actually we needing for now is the continuous support of the big companies (and might some others will come and join) and with these instances, we no longer to see the price of Bitcoin will get back dump below $10k.
3288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 19, 2021, 11:21:02 PM
Buy and sell totally depends on you but i always try to buy in deep and sell it high though we all do same mistakes in everytime but for selling your coins you can follow markets conditions, fundamental news and technical history too.
^ I rather choose the keep buying than selling.
Kowing the fact that when you sell is a very simple way, from the start of your investment in BTC, you should write it down in what price in the market you have purchased your BTC and then, just aim an amount that you want to sell your BTC, in that strategy, it is impossible you did not know when is the perfect time of selling. I also suggest, don't be too much greedy in making a profit in crypto, because sometimes it will cause your losses.
That only if you have a lot of money. But how about those poor people (third world country)? How about those you are just in short-term holding? This is not all about buying and holding, selling is a part of trading, and this why the market just moves up and down. And besides, we have the volatility feature because of this, some are selling and buying. Yet, both of them can be applied depending on our decision, and to ask when is the perfect time to do it(buy/sell), that gonna be a big question. It is just us to decide.
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 19, 2021, 09:23:22 PM
Hilarious that the "Suns in 4" guy who beat up that Denver fan got free tickets and a signed jersey from Devin Booker's team.  I watched an interview between him and Dave Portnoy where he explains everything that happened.  I guess the Denver kid was flashing money at him and dumped beer on him which led to the vicious beating that ensued.  If you aren't aware of what I'm talking about, Google "Suns in 4 fight" and you'll get all you need to know, including video of the incident.

https://clutchpoints.com/suns-news-devin-booker-hooking-up-suns-in-4-guy-after-fight-with-nuggets-fans/

Good for them, Suns is really a tough competitor, the fact that they beat the Lakers, they should be a great team already. Now, we'll go to the WCF, the Suns for sure are still the favorite to win the series, but let's see if they can sweep the Clippers.

My prediction is, the underdog will win in game 6 as they did with the Jazz.

I could be wrong, but for now, I'll stick to my bold prediction.

Will CP3 play in game 1? I think the rumor still says that he is not available, with that, I think the Clippers would be able to get a good match up because they also don't have Kawhi in this game.

3290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: June 19, 2021, 01:39:27 PM
Of course, something decentralized is very detrimental to the government. As we know the government's financial system is not completely free from corruption. If they adopt this system how can they manipulate the finances they steal? everything will be transparent. And one big thing that stands in the way is that the state will benefit more from doing conventional banking.
They are absolutely corrupt and have greedy souls. They can easily manipulate the market as they are in full control of it but they can't do this for Bitcoin, they just fail. This the reason why they hated Bitcoin and ban this, but that is all they can do. People will find a way...and they can stop Bitcoin from spreading.
I just hope that the government will realize their doings, if they will ask people nicely to pay taxes for their Bitcoin, it can be possible but if they will remain harsh towards us, the more it creates misunderstanding.
3291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: June 18, 2021, 11:34:17 PM

Some exchanges that had been around for years are also into this kind of scheme. One example of it was the cryptopia that eventually close, they could just be orchestrating all these legal battles or so but obviously, our tokens are lost. They found a way to keep us waiting by submitting emails and claims, but nothing. The users who have some funds there could just die of Covid but they will not see their tokens again.
It was clearly an exit scam...
And this is mostly happening to the new exchanges who have less support from the traders and as well as from the owner. They'll have nothing to cope with the low demand and closure is their best option rather than to continue their service for loose ends.
This is a reason why we should not ignore the trading volume of a certain exchange as it was the basis that it become sustainable or it only disappears one day.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exiting altcoins at the correct time is the best thing you can do do with them. on: June 18, 2021, 11:10:10 PM
Not really. All altcoins aren't shitcoins. You have to exit at the "correct time" when you know you are investing in a shitcoin. Those coins usually gets hyped at the beginning and then gets pumped when everyone starts to invest in it. Once the hype is over, most of the people starts to dump the coins and take their profit. This is when the people that exit at the right time makes profit, while those who exits at the wrong time, loses everything. Even if you are at loss, never hold your shitcoins. Highly likely it will never go up again. Better to make some loss and save some of your investments.
I sell all my shitcoins while it still has value and put the money to potential altcoins. As the bear season has come (soon), now is the best time to anticipate a huge market correction. We can't rely on those hyped coins while we can still benefit from them, make this as an opportunity for the next plan.
However, we have a different mindset, many were still thinking for an xxx profit from holding these shitcoins. Well, it has their choice, they can never realize that they are wrong until such a time that they will experience it.
3293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 18, 2021, 09:47:30 PM
Any thoughts on how many games Chris Paul will miss in the next round?  Will he miss any at all?  Can the Suns win without him?

I'd be curious on results of a poll about how many games Chris Paul will miss.  I haven't followed the news as much as I'd like, but it seems like he's been in quarantine for a while and was already vaccinated.  If even vaccinated people have to spend weeks out of work due to protocol, it sort of makes you wonder how effective the vaccine is in the first place and what the point of it is...
It looks like it still unclear when Chris Paul might be available to play because he hasn't re-joined the team at the moment, and I don't exclude that he might miss a couple of weeks. I guess if the Suns play without CP3, then they probably will lose in WCF, Imho.

I don't think so, especially if they will play against the Clippers who are still missing Kawhi Leonard.

This is bad for CP3, he had some injury and now he is out for covid-19 protocol.
https://www.nba.com/news/reports-paul-in-protocols-status-for-west-finals-unclear
However, I know bookies are smart, and I believe CP3 will be able to play in the WCF as they are still the favorites to win the WCF.

Almost all of the teams now missed their star players and some are playing with injury.

Jazz - missed Conley
Clippers - missed Leonard
Suns - missed cp3
76ers - Embiid playing with an injury.
Nets - missed Kyrie.
Nets - Harden playing with an injury.
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 17, 2021, 09:56:18 PM
I'm betting on the Bucks to have a good start, so I'm talking -3.5 1st half, they usually start strong and they only panic in the 2nd half. Since it's their home court, so I guess they'll start better.

Therefore my pick is Under 220.5, good luck!

I'm going the opposite way, In the last game it's over 220 points and Harden was not scoring yet, how much more if he'll score in game 6.
3295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: June 17, 2021, 02:14:12 PM
Yes, they can't really. If they tried, the crypto industry would turn into a black market for cryptocurrencies.
The situation will be getting at worse when Bitcoin will turn into a black market. And this will get more hated and chase by the government as it was becoming the center of illegal transactions. This is not the thing we've dreamed of, the creators aimed for the betterness of our life which is why he creates Bitcoin. It becomes unfortunate when the market turns like that and all the government will considerably not think the help of Bitcoin to the present generation and for the next one.
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme tokens dangerous or moon on: June 16, 2021, 09:20:27 AM
Most meme tokens don't last long in the market

Say hello to Mr. Dogecoin.

Meme coins can last as long there is interest in milking people through it. But would not risk investing big amount of money in them. Maybe just for fun I would buy something dogecoin alike for a couple of bucks. But it must not be related with dogs or dogecoin directly. All these Shibu-Mibu-Kibo-Inu-Finu-Binu are crap.
But we can't deny that Dogecoin has been in the market for many years and we never heard it become dead. These new meme coins might be behaving like that but to ask about their potentiality, they are all the same and we can certainly rely on them for any market returns (maybe during the bull season) but during the bear season, you only just disappointed.
3297  Economy / Speculation / Re: El salvador has become new history of bitcoin! on: June 16, 2021, 08:50:23 AM
El salvador has achieved that because this morning the proposal got approved majority in Salvadoran Congress.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/el-salvador-president-bitcoin-law-will-be-approved-tonight/amp?__twitter_impression=true

Many countries will follow El salvador later to accept bitcoin legal tender on their country, what do you think? Will bitcoin back to $64k in few weeks later after this insane news?

First pizza traded for 10,000 bitcoin , now EL Salvador the first country for bitcoin legal tender.
This one is good news but I am surprised one fake tweet from Elon can bring much excitement in market than News like this.
Come in crypto community it's time we stopped paying attention to Musk.
I think you need not involve Elon with this news because this is another story and you know how that person ruining the crypto after the hype and tweets he made.
El Salvador had made the right choice and to legalize Bitcoin is the best opportunity for its holder to use and enjoy it. But what I was afraid of if this will only lead to increasing money laundering and illegal activities. Could be this possible as this place is known for such activities.
3298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 15, 2021, 02:14:22 PM
We are still bullish, were not yet turn to bear season.
I was happy to see the Bitcoin price surpassing $40k but I was not thinking that is able to reach $50k.

This is a good opportunity to sell, as you said that there is still hope of avoiding a bear market and returning to a path that has shown demand levels are picking up again.
Bitcoin is currently in pretty good shape, use this opportunity as a portfolio restorer and don't let this moment return with long hopes.
And I never wanted to hear people saying just hold...
We have to take this opportunity otherwise we miss this coz we never know if it will stay long like this or not.
3299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 14, 2021, 09:45:03 PM
Both of them are safe to hold...actually, I'm using BUSD for trading pairs and if we compared to USDT, there is no difference.
Holding stablecoins is not really the best idea when you wanted to grow your money unless if you just think about safety and less risk. But for me, I'd rather have to take a risk holding/staking those highly volatile coins than these stablecoins.
3300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib on: June 14, 2021, 01:07:35 PM
...
We have to stay away from more such projects or they will harm Bitcoin.
In which way that it could harm Bitcoin? Are these coins are competing Bitcoin? Probably not, but these coins can't really be trusted when it talks about long-term investment. New projects mostly just end shortly, if these coins will pump it is not because of its potentiality but probably because someone manipulated the market. Quite a familiar tactic for rich people, for somebody who could afford to do that (whales).
I'd never invested both of them because I don't have trust but it can be changed if it was proven to be worthy.
