....I don't know how you can obstruct a an investigation on a crime that never happened.....

Not providing the evidence that the crime happened when the crime did not happen would of course be obstruction.

In the minds of people seeking the guilt that was pre-determined.

Being online, it can be much easier to avoid even identifying your gender and it sort of becomes irrelevant. There aren't any obstacles that I can see that stop women from setting up cryptocurrency related companies and that is how it should be. There does seem to be a trend towards "geek is cool" at the moment, which can only help to break down barriers.

If you listen carefully you'll catch the joke..."I'm so glad you share mine with me."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIsZyg8OXlI

And then..."I can see it crystal clear..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2ku1A5Ox8U

From the very, very early days..."You'll come to this party fashionably late..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdrSP0V-KLg

These women saw the vision and ran with it. Many, many others.

Zipping back to today, there's Naomi Brockwell....

Just saying that when the "objectionable post" is vanished, that conversation cannot occur. You don't have the opportunity to explain to everyone how stupid he is/

True but as that someone doesn't know how to read his own language it might be even better Smiley

Except it would be less funny of course.
See, with every post you make in the non-vanished thread you prove my point!

But you are only capable of having this conversation/argument/rant because you (and Flying Hellfish) are responding to other posts in the OPEN FORUM THREAD. The thread in which posts vanish is dead.

The joke is on you.

A reminder of what is the ultimate objective of the OP is.

......

Search P&S for: Gamergate. We need to learn how to detect the spread of that virus called intersectionality, and destroy it with radiation early on. This is not about video games or crypto. This is a cancer.

Can we move on to the truly interesting diversion and hijacking of the OP?

Why we need Women in Blocks and Chains

Yeah because this conversation is sooooooooo interesting that it would be a shame to censor that xD

Anyone not reading our endless ping-pong chat with TECSHARE is clearly missing out something important.  Grin

I'm answering TECSHARE. It's not something I deem worthy of being read by anyone more than him.

I'm not DISAGREEING with your reasoning, I have tried to follow some of those convoluted conversations and gave up.

Just saying that when the "objectionable post" is vanished, that conversation cannot occur. You don't have the opportunity to explain to everyone how stupid he is/

The only people who are unwilling to have an open debate are those selling lies.

Nope.

There are also the people tired of your double standards, your stupidity and your bad faith Smiley

No one forces you to interact with me fat man. You seek it out, you challenge me in a debate, you fail miserably, then you cry that I am being stupid and have double standards, and repeat. If you don't like criticism don't post to a public forum designed to host open discussion.

That's exactly what FH is doing and what you're crying about beautiful and muscular thin man ^^

He's posting in a self mod thread so he can get rid of you.

That is a world I am not in....

Then you are lucky, hopefully I can also make a living in which  I don't have to follow their rules anymore. When it comes to facebook tho, we can freely create other identity that we can use for our safety.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2019/04/19/federal-investigation-facebook-could-hold-mark-zuckerberg-accountable-privacy-sources-say/

On Thursday, Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal (Conn.) said the company’s top executive “wasn’t just aware of Facebook’s invasion of consumer privacy, he signed off on it and publicly downplayed legitimate concerns.”

“Holding Mark Zuckerberg and other top Facebook executives personally at fault and liable for further wrongdoing would send a powerful message to business leaders across the country: You will pay a hefty price for skirting the law and deceiving consumers,” Blumenthal said.

But in fact these sorts of slaps-on-the-wrist occur after the fact, and do not help you or I.

No need to get mad about it....its over, dead, buried.

I would agree there are some zombie believers in Russia Collusion that will be thrashing, lurching from street corners to their homes in the sewers.

Be careful not to get bit by these creatures.

The Walking Dead MSM... So much salt. They will never let go. Brain dead. Also talking about TRUMP is good for their business model... Dead man walking business that is...

Democrat_zombies have a big problem right now.

They are very, very uninteresting.

The worst thing to be is dull and uninteresting and boring.

People want to have fun, watch fun stuff, be entertained.

Perhaps by the shock and surprise value of his actions, Trump does this.

Therefore you see reactions to him, both good and bad.

The reaction to dull and uninteresting is to move away from it.

That's even worse than being ugly.
3289  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NK State media: NK tested a "tactical guided weapon" on: April 19, 2019, 01:32:24 AM
Good.  This should help them defend their country from imperial invasion. Sanctions are America's way of taking their frustrations out on helpless poor people when they can't get other wealthy overlords to cave to demands and its really disgusting.

The US had no intention to denuclearize the peninsula and only wanted NK to get rid of their weapons while keeping ours.  I think Trump got confused about what denuclearization of the peninsula meant and it took him months to figure it out.
You are crazy.

I don't think anyone was ever claiming the US was going to denuclearize, and I am not aware of any compelling reason why we should.

As I recall the matter, Trump promised Rocket Boy that the US would protect NK if they were invaded. That's what reversed the tables, and what negated the merit of being a nuclear power. I don't see a promise to denuclearize the peninsula as any kind of a statement about what and where the US might keep its nukes. These days they can be fired from ships, submarines, aircraft and then the cruise missiles have a range of 600-1000 miles.

I am sure many people do not know about the gradual process by which the Cold War was ended. We are clearly on that road with NK. The strip of land between N and SK, many, many land mine fields have been cleared. There are many signals as to this process occurring.

As for the tactical missile. If I had to bet, I would wager NK has a customer or two who expressed an interest in intermediate range missiles.....
3290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Mark Zuckerberg wants no privacy on: April 19, 2019, 01:23:11 AM

I don't think a person's exact name or part of it should ever be the email. If a company did require that then you can misspell or abbreviate a part of it in a way you never do personally. Then at least you can tell where incoming spam bought or stole its info.

The days of being proud and excited to own MarySmith@xyz.com are long gone....

You can do misspell your name in your email if you are the one making it. I don't personally know how things works in your place but in my place usually if we got a job ("officebased") or even some "remotebased". They are the one responsible for creating your own email and yes having marysmith@company still existing in the industry. They even put all your details on your google or microsoft account.

That is a world I am not in....

So, posts are being vanished again. Well, that should be expected. The tool of censorship is a primary tool of the totalitarian Leftists.

A prized tool, indeed, often the only tool.

I stand by my statement exactly as written.
3293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Mark Zuckerberg wants no privacy on: April 18, 2019, 11:27:30 PM

The Facebook source said the investigation so far indicates between 200 million and 600 million Facebook users may have had their account passwords stored in plain text and searchable by more than 20,000 Facebook employees. The source said Facebook is still trying to determine how many passwords were exposed and for how long, but so far the inquiry has uncovered archives with plain text user passwords dating back to 2012.

What's not explicitly stated is the simple fact that if passwords were stored in plain text, and if they were accessible to 20,000 employees, there was a reason. Because it's extremely easy, and an option in most programs that enable login, to store an encrypted hash. In that case the user's login works, but the employees cannot access it or the account it references.

Seriously, this is 1990s level stupid.

3294  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why so many people say "Muslims are terrorists" Should we say that? on: April 18, 2019, 09:26:49 PM
Now I don't want to compare Hitler with Abu Bakr al Baghdadi or the NSDAP with ISIS. But just want to make one point clear. The ISIS claims that they are butchering the infidels as per the instructions given in the Islamic holy books and tenets. On the other hand, the NSDAP never claimed that they are exterminating the Slavs, Jews, Roma.etc as per the instructions given in any of the Christian holy books.

That's correct.

But philosophically Islamic radicals are much closer to Japanese kamikaze operatives than German.

Current muslim stuff is an outcome of EU and US policy. In Australian mosques imams are telling people that women shouldn't wear hijab in Australia because it is not accepted by local culture. And for some reason generally, muslims are not arguing about that.....

I'm for a world wide ban on hijab.

Google Employees Demand Management Respect Their Prejudices Against Conservatives and Climate Skeptics

When Google announced an external advisory board for AI projects last week, the company framed the decision as a step forward in accountability. Last year, the company had announced a set of principles for how to build AI tools, and this board, the company suggested, was the next step toward a more transparent Google.

But some members of the new board drew immediate scrutiny, especially Kay Coles James, president of the conservative Heritage Foundation. On social media, some characterized the decision as an attempt to cater to conservatives at the expense of true expertise in the field. By Saturday, one AI expert who was invited to the board had dropped out, vaguely noting that it may not be “the right forum” for the work.

Privately, several Google employees were also livid about the decision to include James, according to sources familiar with the discussions. On internal message boards, employees described James as “intolerant” and the Heritage Foundation as “amazingly wrong” in their policies on topics like climate change, immigration, and, particularly, on issues of LGBTQ equality. A person with James’ views, the employees said, “doesn’t deserve a Google-legitimized platform, and certainly doesn’t belong in any conversation about how Google tech should be applied to the world.”

By the end of the day on Tuesday, more than 1,600 Google employees had endorsed the petition, organizers said. Google did not respond to a request for comment.

So don't use chrome, and use duckgogo instead of google.

Don't hand out "Google ID" to any apps that ask for it.

Again, this isn't just a manageable problem but it's extremely important to manage it.

I still use  chrome it's more convenient ,isn't it? ....
No.

...But when it comes to having a personal email I don't have choice but to atleast give my full name.

It is so hard to managed especially when you are going to need those for work related.

Second, IQ is a culturally biased test so of course the more different a culture is from the default of the test, the lower scores will be.  IQ is not a measure of intelligence.  ....

That's not correct, although I'm certain that's what you have been told.

IQ is a measure of intelligence, it's only be redefining intelligence that that can be negated.

IQ varies between major racial types, but IIRC there are widespread iodine deficiencies in those nations which lowers IQ scores yet again.

Realistically you've got to babble this party line because otherwise you'd have no rational basis to demand equal outcomes in schools for racial groups.

When you start caring about discrimination against asian-americas in college acceptance I'll start to believe you are human and not a paid bot.

Why would Mark cares? It is all about numbers and in fact he is just following the footsteps of google. You should have to be more careful with dealing in google services. If the social media platform earns from marketing we don't know how google thinks towards it's data.

Google data are more beneficial to spying.

So don't use chrome, and use duckgogo instead of google.
