Mining on CPU with the wallet is a hashrate killer. That's what you get when you copy/paste .conf files 

With less than 20 million coins available it's insane this hasn't exploded yet.

I'm not leaving my wallet address. It won't be fair on those who don't get any. Before long these are going to be very difficult to mine.

I'm currently solo mining, but I've found that for some reason my hashrate is a lot lower than I solo mine. I have an R9 280x.

My settings;

However my hashrate is almost 100mhash slower as compared to when I'm pool mining. Is that normal? Or is there something I need to do to bring it up to speed when solo mining?

Judging by the slickness of this operation so far, I expect it will be up on both.  

Dev should releasing launching the wallet early with a very long random number/letter password though, or at least a mirror link at launch.

This coin is in a really nice place right now. The price has come down a bit on coinedup, but there's still time to get this coin somewhere.

Mine Particle instead. Low difficulty, 30 Satoshis a coin on coinedup. It's a much better bet at being the next Quark.

Well, we don't want it to hit an exchange right away. The more spread out the coins are, the less likely the price will crash once it hits an exchange. The last thing we want is for initial coins to get dumped by heavy hash miners.

Once the coin has been further developed, then you hit an exchange. Make it as valuable to hold onto as possible in the shortest possible time for hitting an exchange. People will hold if they think the price will go up.

I'm sad this hit an exchange so early. Just when I bought a new card especially to get more grain. It really isn't profitable to solo mine this now. As I said, I'm better off now just buying in.

It will never make to an exchange.

Of which 2 thirds have been promised for give aways and promotions. Worse coins with bigger premines have made it to an exchange. This isn't mooncoin or dimecoin.
