Wallet is broken. Missing all sorts of dll dependencies. Best of luck getting it to work.

Always be cautious with stories like that. Is all I'm saying.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the research that's being put into this. Some smart people in this thread for sure.

Oops. Found the problem. gen=1 Mining on CPU with the wallet is a hashrate killer. That's what you get when you copy/paste .conf files ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

With less than 20 million coins available it's insane this hasn't exploded yet. Klondikecoin gets my support. I'm not leaving my wallet address. It won't be fair on those who don't get any. Before long these are going to be very difficult to mine. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Love the video for this in the OP. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Not sure if the name is "mainstream", but still, at least the coin has a strong message.

Oh look, the next scam coin is here.
Give it up guys, people are wise to this now. They create one IPO, get as much BTC as they can, then go quiet and start another one.

I'm currently solo mining, but I've found that for some reason my hashrate is a lot lower than I solo mine. I have an R9 280x. My settings; cgminer.exe --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:9332 -O myname:mypass --gpu-platform 1 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 11200 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune -20 However my hashrate is almost 100mhash slower as compared to when I'm pool mining. Is that normal? Or is there something I need to do to bring it up to speed when solo mining?

The usde.conf file will be located inside the compressed files, which will be posted at launch. Windows wallet download links will appear 2 minutes before launch. Mac wallet will appear as soon as it is compiled when source code is released.
Posted where...on the first page or on the website? I don't see any links (active or inactive). Thanx! Judging by the slickness of this operation so far, I expect it will be up on both. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Dev should releasing launching the wallet early with a very long random number/letter password though, or at least a mirror link at launch.

Do you mine how you setup to mine solo? I switched to solo mine overnight to try my luck since I was finding a few blocks on the pool and was about breaking even in there. 2 orphans and 1 accepted block say that I will keep solo mining for a little while (more so now that the diff is going to lower on next retarget, unless RPC retargets first ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Klondikecoin rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcport=7921 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 addnode=37.59.28.23 addnode=162.243.255.143 Create file in that folder. Restart wallet. Keep wallet open. cgminer-3.7.2-windows: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:7921 -O username:password --gpu-platform 1 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-powertune 20 These are my settings for an R9 280x. If you have an Nvidia card, you need CUDAminer; cudaminer -O 127.0.0.1:7921 -O username:password -l K7x32 -i 0 -H 1 These are my settings for a Nvidia GTX 670 Phantom. Then just run the bat file and you should be good to go. You may need different settings depending on what cards you have. You'll have to do some googling or forum searching, or just go here; https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparisonThere's also detailed instructions in the OP.

This coin is in a really nice place right now. The price has come down a bit on coinedup, but there's still time to get this coin somewhere.
Wake up developers.

|

Mine Particle instead. Low difficulty, 30 Satoshis a coin on coinedup. It's a much better bet at being the next Quark.

This thing is going to be huge and I bet it will son get an exchange.
Well, we don't want it to hit an exchange right away. The more spread out the coins are, the less likely the price will crash once it hits an exchange. The last thing we want is for initial coins to get dumped by heavy hash miners. Once the coin has been further developed, then you hit an exchange. Make it as valuable to hold onto as possible in the shortest possible time for hitting an exchange. People will hold if they think the price will go up.

I'm sad this hit an exchange so early. Just when I bought a new card especially to get more grain. It really isn't profitable to solo mine this now. As I said, I'm better off now just buying in.

Of which 2 thirds have been promised for give aways and promotions. Worse coins with bigger premines have made it to an exchange. This isn't mooncoin or dimecoin. - No instaminers - An actual developer - A decent website - Nice name, nice logo - Potential further development - Real substantial bounties I'm in. Thanks.

Still doesn't even connect even with the nodes. What a waste of time. I'm out.
addnode=113.248.20.249 addnode=118.250.144.235 addnode=61.154.247.142 that worked for me putting in the .conf Doesn't matter though because touting no premine, then doing 520 block instamine before anyone else can connect is worse. Yeah, I got it working. I just needed to take the port numbers off the nodes. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Blatently premining and not being open about it? No exchange is going to touch this. Dead by the second page. I hope botnets do mine this. It'll divert hashpower away from decent CPU coins.

Failure to launch. No network, no source. OP is probably instamining as we speak.
FAILURE.

You spoke, we listened!
Initial block amounts have been adjusted to ensure that there is no Instamine of USDE. Please read first page for updates. Thanks!
Holy mother of altcoins, a dev that finally gets it. I'll be putting my hash behind this coin. No instamine and dump here. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
