Great, I was worried about the Blockchain possibly getting forked due to the large amount that is held on Cryptsy.

I sent some coins to "Bitcoin!" while the Cryptsy wallet was down and all transactions took a few hours to confirm but all went through. I think what happened was Cryptsys trade api had an accounting bug so their failsafe was triggered which halted trade while they varified all transactions and taking a good majority of Col offline slowed down the Blockchain transactions. All worked smoothly, wallets are synced, transactions all went through and are confirmed, Col is back trading and all transactions are back to their normal speed.

I called you a mudderfudder. Not muddafudda. Get it right.

Newbs running, starting and taking over alts has become an epidemic lately. It doesn't take much to see that most if not all of these accounts, likely belong to just a handful of members.

Who you are may come to light some day. Regardless of who you are, one thing is a certainty. You are someone's sock.

1st post. Shocked  "Hey look at me ! I'm here to save your junk coin asses !" Roll Eyes

I have taken up a role in rebuilding the foundation of Colossuscoin in a similiar fashion as Zackclark70 with ADT (Android Tokens). I am personally working on a new blockchain and implementation with Cryptsy which will unlock new value for the foundation and investors.

Colossuscoin has great community leaders that work hard to meet the demands of investors in a positive way and has a sound long-term plan for the future which benefits both current and future investors.

-Colossuscoin Forum: http://colossuscointalk.org/index.php

-Recently added to Coinedup (around Dec 27th) as Col/Ltc and Col/Btc.

-Applictions for the Development team opened Dec 30th

-If you have good ideas, special skills or general enthuiasm for building a better future you can apply to be part of the Development Team at: http://colossuscointalk.org/index.php?topic=233.msg832#new

-All levels of experience are considered, you may be talented in ways you don't realise. Users who also continually contribute to the forums and development in an outstanding way may also be invited to become part of the Development Team.

We all wish you a Happy New Year from all of us at Colossuscoin

I'm not sure why you think he is buddy buddy with Cryptsy...... I always find the accusations of favoritism amusing since we pretty much add everything that we feel is safe.

My bad. I shouldn't have singled Cryptsy out.

As you can see, I have editted the post.

Ooh, now were getting somewhere!

This thread is awesome, pure entertainment

Are you going to let him talk about Cryptsy like that? Calling it a cheap, second rate exchange like Bter and Coins-e?

Keep stirring it dumb ass. Tongue

Where do you see me calling any of those exchanges, cheap or second rate ?

Stop twisting my words... mudderfudder.

"Coin happy" is another term that could be used to describe these exchanges. Better ?

Sounds now you are claiming I am Muddafudda?

Wow, your paranoid delusions just keep getting more twisted as we go, there are several people in this thread that can confirm that I am not, nor do I have any involvement with Mudda as well as everyone in the Colossuscoin Foundation.

Here's an idea, maybe you are mining all these coins and then selling them and then creating stories and intentionally trying to drive down prices so you can buy them back cheaper. I have a real job and don't spend my days trying to destroy other people's hard work.

I am not your enemy and your shit is beginning to piss me off. Get proof before you start making all your fanciful claims, everything is recorded and traceable.

I wouldn't get Muddafudda to code for us because a lot of the coins he coded has issues in some way. The likely case is that when he coded these coins that he didn't account for these things but whatever the reason, I'm not going to start a war over it.

If Muddafudda still owns shares of Col, it would be in his best interest to just let the Foundation prosper without trying to destroy it. As we swap over to a new blockchain and develop all other areas, his shares would be worth more as well. I really wanted Mullick to code the new blockchain but he has too much work on his plate and Tranz also said he is too busy.

Taken from the Dev Team section a few days ago

The Crypto world is full of paranoid people so all work that is to be done has to be independently verifiable in the real world. I have access to all Skype logs plus many people that know me online and in the real world.

I just like stirring the pot a bit, I have zackclark70, Mullick, Bitjohn, and Galbatoryx on Skype as well as Bitcoin!, Sudo23 and several others on ICQ and they are all welcome to post any of their logs with me.

if the colcoin technical team has a lot of money or ltc, xpm else, can speed up the price of col multiple of 10000,then  every one  all over the  world will know, ow col coin is a big and great coin!!!
so i mean that the team should need much money,or Cooperate with company which has much money...
this is my suggestion.

Everyone who is part of the Development Team, doesn't own much crypto in general. Spending that much in that way is called a pump and dump and that money would be better spent on development projects.

The Development Fund and marketing fund currently has around 80 million Col total. The only donations in the donation fund has ever really come from Sudo23, Crypto and I in the 2 months it has been around. The only money spent so far from donations has been around 2 million Col for some marketing about a week ago.

I own about 1.2 Btc total of Crypto and the Development Team also don't own much in Crypto but everyone works hard on developing the foundation. The changes we want to do would likely cost around 5-7k usd and if we paid for it out of our own pockets,  it means we are paying hundreds of usd each for the months of time we spend developing the foundation.

I work a regular job as a chef at one of best restaurants in Vancouver and get paid like $15-16 an hour and my spare time goes to developing the Colossuscoin Foundation. So far for 2 months of work I have paid about $70 or 5%-7% of all the money I own in making the foundation better for everyone.

I have set up the Dev team, compiled and researched all issues, worked on developing a new blockchain, searched for software developers through Bitcointalk and locally through bitcoin co-ops in  -10 weather and just get knocked down at every step of the way.

If we had 10k Ltc to spend on developing, I would be working side by side with developers on a full rebuild but that just isn't the case.

I really am truly ready to just throw in the towel because for the couple months I have worked on it, it has only served to cause negative impact on my own quality of life.

I think you should get a job, work hard, save some money for your script miner.

I starting working at a bakery when I was 16, now I cook at one of the top restaurants in North America. I pay for rent, phone bill and internet, transportation and have money left over for whatever I want.

This is a part of life and growing up, you are 18 and whether you were/are addicted to drugs or not, you still have the ability to do whatever you want in life. I smoke weed from time to time but I still have to manage my money, you just need to sort out what your priorities are.

As harsh as it is, maybe being out on the street would be that wake-up call where you make that choice. I spent the last 4.5 years working around Australia and New Zealand backpacking and working along the way, even ended up homeless a couple times cause I didn't have enough money.

If your homeless in another country your basically fucked, you cant go on benefits
3308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY on: February 04, 2014, 04:27:49 AM
I think the problem is that crypsy holds a large balance in their wallet and so they can 51% many coins and so if their system goes down due to their fruad protection, they have the ability to fork the blockchain to roll back transactions which also gets transactions sent on a bad fork so people lose coins. A few people lost coins when it was done in early January.....

There doesn't seem to be problems elsewhere, I think that also having a good majority just in Cryptsy slows down the rest of the network if they take their wallet offline because there isn't all the extra support of their system. I'm not blaming Cryptsy because they need to have an anti-fraud system, just saying it might be better to throw support around to different places

Muddafudda gave the checkpoint server keys to Sudo for free so I think we could just fork the blockchain to re-enable POW at 0 coins to support the network once cryptsy comes back online.

Not sure "monsters" were included in the Bell Curve unless we stick in Mary Shelly. You are full of too many absolutes to have a reasonable exchange with. Margret Thatcher , woman scientists in space.
From this conversation it appears that bitcoin women are too smart be on forums. You seem to have had some unfortunate experience and now your life is spent confirming that bias.

Good luck with that.

Nope, you just pull the predictable, far left attack of "you must be sexist, racist, or wrong" card when someone says something obviously true, but not politically correct.  Far left ideologues always refuse to talk about any kind of statistic related to bell curves and only focus on individual behavior, which as mentioned earlier, is a completely meaningless data point.  You attempted to use one person, Margret Thatcher as the basis for the argument, so obviously do not grasp that idea very well.

Even if you don't consider yourself a "far left ideologue", you will take the position of one just for arguments sake, because you believe the conclusion of the argument makes you look like less of a person, when it's just simple biology.

The fields of big data analysis would not exist if humans weren't easily predictable.  You know everything I said is true, or more truth than fiction at the very least, but you're going to argue against it no matter what, because you're offended that everyone walking the earth isn't identical in nature and capability, even when evolution and specialization predict the exact opposite occurring.

Just like how there are large differences in one kind of ant or another, there are large differences in each sex, race, and whatever other biological attribute you can come up with.  Denying that evolution, specialization, or natural selection factors exist just makes you look like a fool.

The far leftist paradox:  always pushing against religion using evolution as an argument, then calling anyone that acknowledges the existence of evolution as sexist and racist.

You totally need to use way simpler words to argue on forums, how can the other person argue when they don't understand you?

People on these forums are like 16, if your going to insult them you gotta start with their mom Smiley

maybe nerd is fat ugly girls use bitcoin, cute girls are not on Internet, they have social life.

Have you ever been on a website called reddit before?  I think you'll quickly change your mind on the kind of girls that are on the internet.
What about that chick who tattoed her BTC address on her back.

That's like getting someone's name tattooed on your back, gonna be hard to remove when the bubble pops.

This is why we don't let women use bitcoin, women need to be TOLD what to do Smiley

She was TOLD that the address needed to be easily viewable by her customers...

(yes, I am implying she is a prostitute and that she takes it from behind)

That's why women should remain in the home cleaning, they don't understand the complexity of Math!

mudderfudder has threatened to blackmail people, hoping that I will be pressured into dropping my scam accusation(s) against him.

And.. wtf is up with everyone eating popcorn ?

Roll Eyes

I just thought it was entertaining, forum drama is pretty funny. I looked through some old posts where mudderfudda had originally called Col "infinitecoin V2" and it looked like everyone was having a meltdown.

I honestly don't care about whatever accusations are going on but I did care when it felt like you were trying to drag us down over it when we are in the middle of building an improved blockchain.

I think your an alright guy and your welcome to post here as much as you want, it all helps getting noticed and whatever your input is also taken in. I haven't forgotten about people who have lost coins a while back and by helping them get their coins back, it builds a stronger reputation so everyone's investment is worth more.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY on: February 03, 2014, 08:54:48 PM
Cryptsy pulled Col down for maintenance last month but gave no update so I appreciate that they did so this time. I wouldn't be sending transactions out of the wallet at this time until cryptsy has come back online and you have synced.

I recommend keeping your wallet active and syncing with the network but wait until cryptsy has the wallet back online to test out transactions.

Hippie Tech has been harassing us on the Colossuscoin thread, he's been going on about conspiracy theories and the *truth*. I honestly think there is something seriously wrong  with the guy.

No one has had problems with Muddafudda other than Hippie Tech who seems to have problems with everyone.

I'm backing Muddafudda on this even though Hippie Tech will likely be here bitching and moaning that we are conspiring, blah blah blah. I haven't had any problems with Muddafudda, yet Hippie Tech is harassing us daily so if I'm going to get dragged into his drama then I want people to see how his tinfoil hat crusade is pissing everyone off.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY on: January 30, 2014, 08:10:14 PM
syncing is so slowly?
why?

Syncing is slow because it is a large blockchain, takes a while to sync but sync times have been continually improving as more people have started using the wallet.
3318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY on: January 30, 2014, 08:06:53 PM
Tried to mine this coin, but got all rejects. What am I doing wrong? Is it because it is PoS and I have zero coins in the wallet? Where can I get coins then?

Yes, you can only mine Col by having coins in your wallet, best place it buy coins is on Cryptsy.

I've asked multiple times in this thread if the PoS was working. Nobody responded. Finally got my wallet connected and started receiving my PoS coins. All unconfirmed though.

Fantastic community support.  Roll Eyes

Stop being sooo negative. Tongue

Trust the forum noobs else they will smite you !

Grin

Copy n paste coin see... copy n paste coin do. Wink

Graincoin has the same problem.

Wow, graincoin is way over valued. I think if you want to buy graincoin you should dump and buy back in a month. Same thing happens to every coin when it starts out, like a great darwinian test.

Until graincoins forums pick up I can't see how it will continue higher, they've had 10 posts this month.  I thought Col wasn't moving fast enough with 820 posts and 177 new members so far this month lol

Stop trying to distract from the topic at hand. I mean.. keep avoiding the topic at hand. You're making it easier for people to see the truth. Wink

And what *truth* is that?  If you look through the thread you would see that staking does work but the TX fees are limiting the staking. I don't know what crusade you are on but you haven't given us any reason why you are coming here to continually bash Colossuscoin other than you think there is some shadow group creating copy and paste coins and you are dissatisfied about it.

We created the marketing and promotion boards the other day because development was getting too large. I think forum management is key in building a foundation. Development is only one month old, marketing section was only put in a couple days ago.
