Why do Bitcoin people always tend to not understand that being transparent when in a legal process is not a good idea? If he intends to create trouble, he already disclosed far too much with noticing this phone call.
1) I don't appreciate being called a liar or accused of making hollow threats. Only divulging that vague fact to demonstrate how serious I am in my legal pursuits and how surreal things are becoming. 2) I've already apologized to Josh directly in the past, and recognized I lost my cool after waiting for 11 months of broken promises and constant delays. 3) The nice lady informed me I was not the only person she was calling. 4) We would not be pursuing this legally if we did not have a case. We do. 5) I never intended to "create trouble". Certainly not to the level it is currently approaching. 6) We wouldn't even be in this thread, or have such outrage and contempt if Josh did not act out in the way he does towards this community.

*yawns* Your legal threats are as empty as Josh's "we will deliver in two weeks" statements.
The nice probation officer I spoke to on the phone, who received my phone number from the Kansas AG office via the postal chief, wasn't a very empty conversation.

BFL can cancel orders for any reason (excluding discriminatory ones like race, gender, etc.), and if they refund the order money there's no harm done, in the legal sense.
Not true. I've been informed this is a Breach of Contract and Civil RICO offense.

Garr, you can officially piss off at this point and take your accusations and stick them straight up your ass. I tried to be nice and I wanted to help you and you give me all sorts of shit and accusations. This is why we no longer give a shit about this forum; Everyone here is monumental assholes, no matter how accommodating one tries to be.
Should I take this, and your other recent forced refund as a formal notice you are ignoring our first letter ? Today makes seven days I believe.

float Q_rsqrt( float number ) { long i; float x2, y; const float threehalfs = 1.5F;
x2 = number * 0.5F; y = number; i = * ( long * ) &y; i = 0x5f3759df - ( i >> 1 ); y = * ( float * ) &i; y = y * ( threehalfs - ( x2 * y * y ) );
return y; }
... is the only magic I recognize.

... they wouldn’t have such a backlash ...
... you really don't know the half of it ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Things have recently taken a turn for the surreal and unbelievable. I'm not used to picking my own jaw up off the floor. Say what you will about Josh, but the fact that he is now directly responsible for the legal welfare of... someone... is a level of "messed up" I never had a desire to approach. And this is saying nothing to their ignoring the first salvo of legal demands on our part. Looks like I'm going to have a road-trip to the Kansas federal courts in the near future ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

Is that the same chassis as the FPGA minirig refitted to host the new ASIC boards ?

BFL says they have a zero return policy but I know some people have gotten their money back. I was curious to know how they credited you back? If you paid with BTC I am assuming you get BTC back but at the current exchange rate? Can anyone clarify this for me?
Experience shows Paypal is the method used for refunds.

You have to be trolling.
I can see why you would think that, but no. Not trolling. They've had a rough time getting to this point. I never had a problem with Butterfly Labs until a certain someone dumped all over this community with his outrageous personality. Remember, I did invest ~$4,600 with them, after all.

It's been bad. Everytime I see the hash rate goes up, I point my miner at the pool and then in moments it goes to 0 again and I get connection issues. Grrrr!
I'm kinda sad to admit I've moved all my miners to BTCG as a primary until the issues with BitMinter get resolved ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Things have been too chaotic over the last week, and today was the worst I think I've ever seen ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Feel bad for Doc ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Gotta hand it to BFL for finally shipping out a single to someone in the wild. Congrats are in order. Nice to see things looking up for the team, for a change. I can't imagine this last year has been pleasant at all.

Ok. I have to be honest. The downtime/problems are starting to annoy me to the point of starting to consider making BTCGuild my primary, and Bitminter as my secondary.

Someone informed me via PM that I was accepted as one of the people from the community to verify the authenticity of these units when they become available.
I am happy to post pictures and write up a report and review of this product if/when something is shipped out, but have received no official communication at this time.
Looking forward to keeping tabs on this project. It's great the see the all this competition entering the marketplace, and unfortunate we need to remain mindful of and vigilant against dishonest actors.
Good to see HashTech being open and responsive to the community so far.

could i put the avalon or asic chips on a Serial ATA RAID card
Yes. You can put an Avalon or other ASIC chip (potato, silicon, or other) on a SATA RAID card in the same way you could put a Ham Sandwich on a SATA RAID card. Expect similar hashing capabilities.
