Bitcoin is open source, stop making up bullshit.
3302  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any decent films (preferably documentaries) been released of late? on: October 12, 2014, 11:45:21 AM
Watching it now, it's pretty interesting.

Edit: Just finished! Thought it was a bit short though to be honest! >_<
3303  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 06:12:36 AM
Yeah, that's just your opinion, that doesn't mean it's actually happened, I had originally asked for examples so all you're doing is making a statement about it and then expecting people to accept that.
3304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 06:00:36 AM
Well maybe you need to be more clearer then Tongue and no it's not like Feudalism at all, I never said anything about Lordships lol.

It has been tried, it does not work.  Those times froze human progress for close to 600 years.

You claimed Anarchism does not work and has been tried, then you posted Feudalism as an example, or are you saying that's not what you meant at all?
3306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 05:46:57 AM

Feudalism is a grouping of legal and military customs, prevalent in medieval Europe, which flourished between the 9th and 15th centuries, or any similar grouping of legal and military customs. Simply defined, it was a system for structuring society around relationships derived from the holding of land in exchange for service or labour.

In Feudalism lords would give land over to people who would swear loyalty to them, that is not Anarchism, stop trying to pretend it is, nevermind the fact that the system you're describing has a completely different word associated with it which you chose to ignore as well.
3307  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 05:42:32 AM
Feudalism is not Anarchism, as I thought, people who complain about Anarchism don't even seem to know what it actually is, Feudalism is something else entirely and is based on an Aristocracy ruling over a region which completely goes against what Anarchism is.

You said it has been tried and it froze human progress, surely you have actual examples of what you claim?
3309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 05:02:13 AM
LOL! I asked you to post some historical examples and you call me a dumbass? Genius way to avoid the question Tongue I wasn't talking about currencies either.
3310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 04:54:14 AM
....... -_-

Post some examples, but I bet you're going to inevitably end up with something that had some kind of cruel Authoritarian regime that you love so much keeping everybody in the dark ages and just don't acknowledge that they did it.
3311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 04:48:11 AM
theory you could build a road just by laying it out and spraying water on the thing depending on how it was applied.

Where would you build that road?  Through whose farm?  Who will pay for it?

Do I really have to go through something that blatantly obvious or are you that unimaginative and stupid?

. Negotiate with farmer

. Pool money or get people to donate materials/mine it themselves
3312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 04:42:42 AM
*facepalm*

Okay, first the machines make it possible to build machines needed for modern civilisation that can build stuff without a huge amount of cost and relying on a government, the technology of the concrete cloth means in theory you could build a road just by laying it out and spraying water on the thing depending on how it was applied.
3313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The hunt for Satoshi Nakamoto - The creator of bitcoin on: October 12, 2014, 04:35:30 AM
I wish these morons would leave Satoshi alone, yes, old cliché I know but if the guy wants to have his private life then leave him be, some people have no fucking respect, even if Satoshi doesn't do anything about people like this I suspect others might get fed up of them, it's bad enough these news journalists who claim to be respectful are practically egging them on at the same time by reporting on them and attracting attention.

This guy just so happens to be posting open source blueprints for machines that can be built with nothing more than a welder and scrap metal.

Oh and I almost forgot about this:

Not everybody is a selfish or bitter asshole like you Wink which is what I think when you make statements like that about other people.
3316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: lefties righties on: October 12, 2014, 03:48:14 AM
Nothing good comes from being authoritarian, that's a fact.

Roads?

You don't need to be authoritarian to build roads, that'd ridiculous, the fact that people still genuinely believe this annoys me because there's nothing preventing people from getting the equipment together and doing it themselves or pooling the money to build one.

3318  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone know what happen to LostDutchman? on: October 12, 2014, 03:23:09 AM
There is a possibility that he is banned.

Lol...that could be it.  He must still be lurking around with a new alias.  Damn, what could you do to get banned?  This forum is a forgiving as it gets!

I always keep wondering what happens to these sorts of users, the most most likely thing is they may have lost their tempers and started spamming shit all over the place rather than just putting a user pissing them off on ignore, I find it hard to believe they just got banned for pissing off the mods because if that were the case I would have been banned ages ago. I get banned off forums within what feels like 5 seconds of posting elsewhere and it's usually because I hurt the feelings of some established members or mocked the decisions of the game developers they're protecting, the people getting banned recently must have been spamming or something, that's the only thing I can think of because Vod and others are still hanging around with no problems.
3319  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy going up or down? on: October 11, 2014, 04:00:35 PM
It will go up until the federal reserve and the dollar run out of power to keep everything going and as it stands now the dollar is beginning to lose it's reserve currency status, partially in thanks to Bitcoin which is why countries like Russia and China fear it so much, what's keeping the U.S economy rising right now is inflation, so eventually there will be another crash like 2008 - 2009, the question is just when.
3320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New film exposing CIA ties to the crack trade on: October 11, 2014, 02:52:29 PM
Oh please, anyone in the know who has actually studied history and not the shit made up in school is aware that Afghanistan is one of the largest producers of drugs, namely stuff like Opium, the CIA was also reponsible for funding what was Al Qaeda during the cold war to prevent the Russians from invading so it's no wonder they have their hands in the drugs trade.

The problem is having to convince people of this who are deliberately ignorant.
